just a sketch, I haven't drawn in forever, but ever since I saw this post the image of Tel with a baby in a sling has lived rent free in my head.
(i would fix the things I don't like but I tried and instead mama learned not to draw laying on the floor because a toddler who was very excited for Shrek to be on accidentally kicked my pencil and I lost the will to live)
lots of hair on the baby inspired by my latest baby. "Look at that hair!" Has been the #1 phrase I've heard for the past 5 months.
#teldryn sero#skyrim#Maybe I'll redraw it sometime#I actually didn't hate this I've been avoiding drawing for ages because it's been since before my oldest was born since I've drawn regularl#Little bit of faith restored in myself

I'm so happy!! I thought I wouldn't recieve an answer, nevertheless this soon! I've written to other shippers before but they seem not active anymore.
I'm looking forward to December then! I NEED more on NejiHina haha I started shipping them when watching the war for the first time, like, the moment exact that I realized Neji's feelings for Hinata (and around the same time Neji became my fav character, even above Hinata... I first hated him, then liked him and then loved him). Tbh, I watched the war arc and end a lot of time later, like, I stopped al 14 and ended it at 19 YO. Then watched it again with my husband, and this time at 26 I'm watching again just focusing on Neji. So, I was not a shipper before 2015 but I'm one of those "old" ( in age) shippers. It justs makes more and more sense the more adult I am, I feel haha also, I'm very Canon strict to establish the relationship (though I do enjoy the fillers that shows it), it makes absolute canon sense that Neji loved Hinata, it's actually impossible IMO to separate him from that fact.
Aaaand, since I'm very logic/factual, I decided not to only do a fanfic to have them together but to give them logic enough that it could have been canon. Like, I decided to rewrite the story since the war to avoid his death without taking the emotional impact. In the midst of it, I decided to make justice to all Konoha 11 + Sai (even Sakura, just no more Naruto and Sasuke pls) and rewrite parts of them too, so I have a lot in my plate right now. I'm working hard to fill all the wholes I see the best I can, both in the main story and in my AU. I'm working hand to hand with the OG material (canon and anime only), so I'm simply "coping" some parts as it is, changing minor things on some parts and major things on others, and then, in postwar, I'm going to finally lead the story on my thoughts mainly. But it's taking sooooo long. I'm doing the first script by hand on english, but I intend to do the final one on Spanish since is my main language and I want to go as in deep detail as I can. Maybe I'll translate it back later.
Does this makes sense? Does it sounds like something worth reading?
I also wanted to tell you that here in Mexico NejiHina seems to be in the rise, kind of. It's more like it has become really popular on TikTok, many many fans loving Neji, and it leaded to 2 memes: Neji Chiquito (Mini Neji) and Neji Norteño. The later refers to the fact that Neji is in love with/ attracted to his cousin; it's a meme but is a huge one, and it implies people recognizes and accepts the fact that Neji was in love with Hinata. Some leave it at that, but many others wished they could be together or state that Neji was a better option for Hinata than Naruto, that also being because a lot of people was upset about NS ending and hate Boruto series.
I'm sorry about the long post 😅 I needed out, I feel like I don't have ppl enough to talk about this haha I also wanted to know your opinion on my project and to let you know that in spite of how things turned out, NejiHina do is getting more recognition on some places.
Good day once again, anon! I'm sorry for making you wait for so long. I read your message right after you sent it but I didn't have enough time to reply properly. As far as your message was full of passion it deserved a thoughtful reply.
I understand you so well about writing to other NejiHina shippers. That is what I did when I returned to NejiHina and started to draw again after more than a decade long hiatus. I didn't know anyone, most accs looked dead so I just started to post my pics. And I'm endlessly grateful to @cyanis-art @nyxvoidart @incensuous @nejihina-and-mlb @nejihinata @toonamifaithful and other people who noticed and liked my arts, wrote comments and supported me in many ways. In the beginning support is needed as air, so I have no idea whether I would continue to draw NejiHina if not their support🙏
I'm looking forward to December then! I NEED more on NejiHina haha I started shipping them when watching the war for the first time, like, the exact moment that I realized Neji's feelings for Hinata (and around the same time Neji became my fav character, even above Hinata... Thank you for sharing your story! It has always been interesting for me to know how other fans came to NejiHina. I've discussed it with quite a number of people and there are some similarities in their stories. Many of my NejiHina fellows say that 'once you feel the chemistry between them you will ship them without turning back'. Also there are many fans who are older than 25 y.o. Most of them agree that NejiHina is a mature ship that goes beyond plain romance. Many ppl started to ship them when they were teenagers and returned to this ship as adults.
As for me, I started to ship them as a teenager after watching s1 and the beginning of Shippuden but I didn’t look in too deep back then. I rewatched Naruto, watched the rest of the series and Rock Lee SD only 1,5 years ago and I was surprised how many NejiHina moments there are and started to love them even more. There is also more info about Hanabi and the Hyuga clan, so I crushed into the clan too.
Aaaand, since I'm very logic/factual, I decided not to only do a fanfic to have them together but to give them logic enough that it could have been canon. Like, I decided to rewrite the story since the war to avoid his death without taking the emotional impact. “to fill all the holes” is exactly what I have been doing for the last 1,5 years 🥲💪
I’m not good at writing, so I draw to show my headcanons and write short notes on twitter and here. Gladly there are NejiHina fellow artists around me to discuss our ideas with. And we are happy to wellcome new people to discuss NejiHina with.
I can’t speak on behalf of all the community but personally I’m a sucker for canon compliant + canon divergent stories. It seems I will never get tired of the multi-chapter slowburn stories about Neji and Hinata and the Hyuga clan. There is a NejiHina fan-novel in my language that is written with this approach and when I’ve read it I understood that this is the type of fan-fiction I like the most. I like it when the story begins as in the canon but gradually diverts from it. This appoach provides numerous opportunities to develop side characters making them MCs, adding original characters, developing the lore. This is exactly what I do for my own headcanons so I fully support you. I wish you good luck in writing what you’ve started! Take your time and I’m looking forward to reading your story in English some day!
I also wanted to tell you that here in Mexico NejiHina seems to be in the rise, kind of. It's more like it has become really popular on TikTok, many many fans loving Neji, and it leaded to 2 memes: Neji Chiquito (Mini Neji) and Neji Norteño. Oh, I saw Neji Chiquito pics on the net! I guess there are many ppl who like him, mini Neji is so cute! I would like a t-shirt with him!
I also came across ‘Norteño’ comments to NejiHina pics on pinterest and on Twitter but I thought that it was some kind of sly insult. Like ‘sweet home Alabama’. Anyway, thanks for telling me about it! I would be very interested to know the origin of this meme. Why northern? 🤔 I also remember comments about Santiago-something, are these things connected?
I'm sorry about the long post 😅 I needed out, I feel like I don't have ppl enough to talk about this haha I also wanted to know your opinion on my project and to let you know that in spite of how things turned out, NejiHina do is getting more recognition on some places.
That’s ok! It seems we have a lot in common, I also like to write very long texts if the topic is interesting to me XD
You can write me so that we will discuss Neji & Hinata, the Hyuga clan and so on =3

Your favorite Fallout ship and... ALL THE EVENS
Oho Socks, you mad lad lol
Well, alright then! *rolls up sleeves*
Favorite Fallout Ship: This really should be easy; I should easily say "LW x Fawkes", given how much I've written of it. And I think I'd still call that the winner. But a close runner up, worthy of mention, is SS x Nick Valentine. Ugh, such good ships, both. (Here’s one of my own drawings.)
2. Your newest ship: Huh... It's a toss-up between Luffy x Jinbe, and Luffy x Katakuri, since they both become relevant around the same time. (Here’s a cute Luffy and Jinbe.)
4. Favourite m/f ship: To avoid saying LW/Fawkes too much, I'll say it's Varric x Cassandra, from Dragon Age Inquisition! (RIP Cassandra’s head in this pic, but oh well.)
6. Favourite f/f ship: Gosh, I dunno if it's actually my favorite, but of recent ships I'd say Siora x de Sardet, from Greedfall. You can romance Siora as a male character too, but I just see it working better with a female de Sardet. (Not my de Sardet, but a nice one anyway.)
8. Most fluffy ship: Oh, Takeo x Yamato, from Ore Monogatari! Holy moly, what a pair of cuties, and what a cute anime! Super recommended if you like romcoms; I'm gonna go watch it again right this second haha (Gosh look at these goofballs.)
10. Most smutty ship: Y'know, I'm just gonna say Symbrock (Venom/Eddie) by virtue of the whole body-sharing experience. I think the fandom is like inherently, inescapably horny lol. (And by fandom I’m also including the very horny canon comics.)
12. Character that you can only imagine in one ship: This used to be like... everyone. I really never used to be a multishipper. But I've been around too long now; lol I have too many ideas. So who would never be shipped with anyone other than their one perfect OTP? Never ever? *sits here for any eternity* Ok, I gotta say it's Helmeppo from One Piece. Look, it's Coby or bust, partly because they're perfect partner-besties, and partly because nobody else would put up with his shit other than saintly Coby. (He’s a pretty good boyfriend though; haha this episode killed me.)
14. Character that you can’t imagine in any ship: Genuinely, this question just sounds like a challenge to me, but a lot of One Piece villains could fit this bill. I'll just go ahead and say Perospero. (Ahh shoot now I'm imagining him in a hate-ship with Pedro, but oh well. No take-backsies.) (I hate his tongue so much.)
16. Characters that you kinda ship but prefer as brotp: After the Whole Cake Island arc, Luffy x Sanji fits this pretty well. They have a very intense relationship (in this arc, esp), but I think it works best platonically. (God I love the opening for this arc so very much.)
18. Guilty pleasure ship: I don't think there's a point in feeling guilty, so it's either all my monster ships or none of them XD NEXT QUESTION. (Pictured: Elias and Chise from Ancient Magus Bride, because they didn’t manage to feature in any of the other questions.)
20. Ship that you liked but don’t anymore: I don't think I've ever really stopped liking a ship, but on the rare occasion it sort of gets replaced, and the only time I can remember that happening is in Fullmetal Alchemist, where I shipped Roy x Ed ages ago, and then the reboot did a much better job of presenting the mostly-canon relationship of Roy x Riza, so I didn't have as much reason to support the non-canon ships anymore pffft. (Look at them though. I do still like them. And this picture is rad.)
22. Ship that you immediately fall in love with after one scene despite not considering it before: I mean I guess Luffy x Katakuri. To be honest, I'd had a friend mention being into them, but I wasn't caught up on the anime so I was like "pffft, why?". And then their fight scene just got so.... !!! Like...!!! Like, these were enemies in a life-or-death battle, but you could SEE THEM start to like and respect and admire each other during this long-ass fight. Katakuri goes through literally an entire character growth arc during this fight, and by the end he's clearly thinking, "Okay, this pipsqueak is like no one I've ever met before; he's special, and I'm kind of honored for him to kick my ass, and also I hope he comes back to visit me one day, uwu". It, uh, it was an experience haha.
24. Biggest notp: I really only get NoTPs when I'm heavily invested in something. Back when I was into BNHA, I really didn't like Izuku x Todoroki, but since I'm not as into the series anymore, it doesn't bother me. I suppose right now my "nope"est pairing would be... uh... LW x Jericho, from FO3? I never cared for it to begin with, but it's really right-out in my current fic series. (I should have found a nicer picture but “Alright then” sums up my feelings about them.)
26. Characters that you like in every dynamic (lovers, friends, enemies) : I mean, not to rehash a ship again, but Luffy x Katakuri for sure, because they already are basically frenemies. (Look at that drawing! Even Oda knows they’re meant to be buddies!)
28. Ship that you expected to ship before reading/watching franchise and you don’t: Hmm. I'm sure there is one! I try not to have a lot of preconceived notions when I watch something... Well, I didn't expect this before the series, necessarily, but I always kind of thought I'd get into Tony Stark x Steve Rogers, but I just... never really did. Seemed like something I'd like, but it didn't catch on, even before other options became available. (Fun memes though.)
30. Favourite canon ship: EVER? Gosh, uh, let's go with Goliath x Elisa from Gargoyles! Ahh yes, someone made a good decision with that one!! Bring back whoever wrote that series! (I’m blessed by this canon gif.)
32. Favourite ship for hurt-comfort: For recent stuff, let's definitely say Kiddway (Edward Kenway x 'James Kidd' aka Mary Read), from Assassin's Creed 4. BOY, they just had to hurt me like that in canon! Their story seemed absolutely ripe for H/C. I really should write some fic.(God look at that little wink.)
34. Ship that you never expected to ship when you were younger but here you are: HMMM what series did I like before shipping was a thing? OH OKAY here's one: Zelda x Ganondorf. I definitely accepted the 'Zelda/Link is basically canon' line as a kid, so shipping either of them with the Big Bad Ganon was not remotely on my mind. In fact, I don't think I'd have ever considered it if it weren't for A Tale of Two Rulers. (Ugh man I wish I could paint like Lor does.)
Alright, that was fun lol. Thanks for the questions, Socks! <3

I've been on Tumblr ten months now, and this blog has existed for nine of them. During that time I have noticed something.
The majority of the posts I've come across have been by and for the S&M scene, as is to be expected.
The second-most frequent are Indigo League, which I don't think is bad going considering it was broadcast before most Tumblerries were born.
Third-most popular I would say is Sinnoh, probably for being the introduction for many here.
After that I've seen bits on Johto, a smattering of Orange League (unsurprising given it's briefness) and maybe a single item on Hoenn.
No one likes that then? Is it Max? Go on, it is.
What I find odd is that, in all that period, I haven't seen anything on Unova or Kalos. No fan art, no screen shots, nothing.
I'm sure someone can point to a bounty of pieces I've overlooked, all done within the last year, but if so, they're well-hidden, as none of the people I follow have shown any interest in re-blogging them.
If you have done any, you must admit the amount has depleted considerably.
Why is this? Is it of no interest anymore?
This in itself validates my own opinion. Had I been here when Unova and Kalos were broadcast, I presume over half of the posts I'd see would've been devoted to them. If I then spoke harshly of either, that would not have been well-received.
However, if dropped, both by the audience and writers as soon as the latest generation arrives, wasn't I right to not be impressed?
If cast aside by those who claimed to worship them, were they really of any worth at all?
Well the same fate has now befallen Alola. I make no secret of how much I despise it, and can not grasp its appeal for anyone.
I don't know how Pokémon even has a fanbase anymore, given that it's ugly, boring and repetitive.
Prior to the arrival of the S.S., I suspected that Alola material would drop, vanishing altogether once a year's worth came to a close, and so it has proved to be.
It's gone from making up roughly 60% - 70% of dashboard posts to about 10% - 20%, in only a few months. Is it that bad then?
It can't be explained as excitement for the new, not with the amount of coverage Kanto gets, and even that isn't motivated by reminiscence, given the average age of the current viewer.
Why are you still posting about something that old? It reminds me of my wasted youth, but what's your excuse?
Why, when the writers want to wallow in nostalgia, do they hark back to Kanto, which no modern fan can remember?
Is no one looking with misty-eyed fondness at Iris and Cilan? Why not?
Or is that an admission that it was so appallingly bad even the writers recognised it, that's why it's been so hastily forgotten?
You could watch Pokémon from the beginning to the close Sinnoh, skip the next two eras, starting again with Alola, and you would never know there'd been a between.
Unova is described as a 'soft reset', with regards to its inverted nature. The arrogance of those writers is staggering:
• Trying to erase all that'd gone before, supplanted by their half-arsed efforts.
• Redesigning everyone with Fish Eye and flat profiles.
• Resetting Ash as not even knowing the basics.
• Warping Team Rocket's established personalities into disgusting, soulless lizard people robbed of all charm and charisma.
• Only new Pokémon existing.
• Catches kept with Juniper not Professor Oak etc.
The irony is that Unova Pokémon are copies of the first 151, so whilst deliberately ignoring the past, they can't resist imitating it, thanks to their own woeful inadequacy. I suppose they hoped if they didn't notice, we wouldn't either.
They then undermined their own decision by stuffing everything available into the third run, as a blatant effort to win back the crowd, including:
• Reverting to Team Rocket's actual motto, not that embarrassingly pretentious codswallop.
Too bloody lazy to make it rhyme now!
Notice they opted not for the Sinnoh one, although more recent. It was straight back to the beginning.
• Look at these hundreds of Pokémon we suddenly remembered!
Just before Giovanni's mid-life crisis, Ash spotted a Rattata, but it having been so isolated from the outside world, his brain fell to mush at the concept, and pronounced it 'retarda'.
Idiots are so easy to please!
• Charizard! Genwunners love Charizard! Give 'em Charizard and they'll forget everything else we've done! Let's condense his entire story arc into one episode of meaningless retelling!
So, Charizard was there to bait the first wave, and yet we had the plot we know repeated to us anyway?
Don't refer to the past and everyone will think it's brand-new!
It makes no sense. How could this be done with the hope of drawing in old fans, and yet filling up an episode with it as plotline isn't an issue, when the intended targets know it's been done before?
• Butterfree! Genwunners loved Butterfree leaving! Let's condense his entire story arc into one episode of meaningless rehash!
Why would they remain when finding the same thing again, absent of feeling and subtlety, not to mention upon discovering the damage done elsewhere?
Recent incomers, who might assume it's a fresh idea, have no emotional connection with Butterfree, so who is it meant to please?
Why is Mewtwo a woman?
• Mewtwo! Genwunners love Mewtwo! Let's copy its background for Genesect rather than be creative! Look, it's Mewtwo! Watch it!!!
Erm... It's not the same Mewtwo...
It's not the same Mewtwo?
You believe the way to an original fan's heart is to lie to them, and in the process smash a fundamental principle of canon that there can only be one Mewtwo?
The writers get a deserved excoriation round these parts, because someone has to, as what part of that film suggested the current crop give the tiniest toss about what matters to you and me?
I'm glad Unova is labelled 'the Dork Age' as every series since its dawn has been atrocious.
Hoenn and Sinnoh held massive flaws, but they're masterpieces compared to what followed. At least they felt like Pokémon, albeit a watery interpretation.
Unova has to be truly lowly for the dunces responsible to recognise it, and neither Kalos or Alola have been as cut off from their predecessors.
I don't believe that's a sign of contrition, more a matter of necessity. Thanks to the same personal limitations there just weren't enough new Pokémon in either era to make such insularity possible. Even between the two it'd be a scrape.
Except whilst previously invented Pokémon designs may be involved, there's no sign of actual familiar characters.
Ash took his original team to Johto, and even in Hoenn and Sinnoh, where local catches took precedent, older Pokémon were still referenced and came back for the League, but that stopped with Unova.
It's evil influence strikes again!
Despite flimsy nods to the past, which can't be avoided, each generation is now a world unto itself, to the point that individual episodes live by their own canon, a feeble web of strands unrelated to anything else.
Why is it considered 'retro' enough to say, have Forms of Kanto Pokémon, for which we're expected to be so grateful, when there's no mention of Ash's earlier squad?
Remember Tauros? And Kingler? And Muk?
Remember Bayleef? And Noctowl? And Heracross?
Remember Corphish? And Torkoal? And Swellow?
Remember Buizel? And Gible? And Torterra?
They don't. As far as I can tell none of them exist anymore, and maybe aren't meant to ever have done.
Same as Gary, Cassidy and Butch, Jessibelle, Tracey, and so on. Until they do, and don't again. Whatever is convenient to today's storyline.
My typical attitude is that the first series is the best thing ever, and it's all been downhill from there, with Unova and all that came after reaching incredible depths of tedium. I don't suppose you like that, but the ephemeral tendencies displayed on Tumblr hardly help change my opinion.
At some low ebb I'll get round to watching Galar, which I'm confident I'll hate as much as the last few generations, based on what I've already seen and heard.
There's little point doing otherwise. Why bother getting involved with the 'plot' or characters if, when it's over, they'll never be spoken of again?
What incentive is there for me to even force myself to like Galar when, once the ninth generation (Pokémon Keenan and Kel) emerges on the distant horizon, those who've sung its praises for three or four years and scoffed at criticism, will drop it without a backwards glance?
Yet talk about the Indigo League is ever present, somewhat proving its superiority. Attachment to it is a subconscious acknowledgement of the dearth of quality in the modern mentality, but which no one can bring themselves to admit.
