✉️ … this is my first blog post SO i just wanna say my reqs are open !!!! hmu, you can find my rules here :D i don’t write a lot so this got a bit poor but i tried my best <\3 I FORGOT TO MENTION, THEY’RE IN HIGHSCHOOL HERE 😭😭😭

he doesn’t really realize at first, he’s always noticed how his heart beats faster whenever you were around but never really thought much about it.

it was on the first of the month he recognized his feelings for you. he doesn’t know what to do, should he tell you or keep it to himself? he ponders about it for a bit while walking down the halls. as he reached his locker, he sees you hesitantly talking with kenny. it doesn’t help that both your lockers are right next to each other, but that’s besides the point. he’s more focused on finding out what you guys are taking about.

“hey, why are you guys whispering?” he asks as he opens his locker. only then do you turn around, and god does he feel like disappearing. “stan… it’s nothing.” he stops for a moment. & stares at you, he promptly takes note of your flushed expression & mentally frowns. “well, alright. where are the others?” he closes his locker as he looks at the both of you. kenny seems indifferent but he doesn’t fail to see the slight smirk he wears. now, his dejection is plastered all over his face. an expression of dumbstruck takes over you. “stan? what’s wrong?” you ask, his previous state nowhere to be seen. “don’t worry, i just remembered i had to do something.” giving you no time to speak, stan rushes away.

“seems like he’s discovered something.” kenny disrupts you from your train of thoughts. “kenny, this isn’t the time. he was probably upset about something else.” he shrugs. before you can add on another comment, the bell rings indicating the start of the first period. “shit. let’s talk again later at lunch.” you hurriedly walk to your class as kenny follows behind you. sighing, you open the door to your classroom only to be greeted by your teachers scowling face. you apologize, walking to your seat. you sit down, fixated on your teachers discussion — unaware of a certain someone’s gaze.

suddenly, it’s already lunch. you wait in line with the others in front, allowing you to consider how you actually feel. if you’re gonna be honest to yourself, you’ve probably felt this way towards stan for months now; but you’ve never bothered to express your feelings as he’s always been interested in wendy. but, kenny has certainly made you doubt yourself. you weren’t stupid, you noticed how he seemed to fidget whenever you were around or how his face seemed to slightly burn crimson whenever you complimented him. you sigh, confused by his change in behavior.

& just like that, the day ends. you say your goodbyes to your friends as you walk home. the cool breeze hitting you. your days went on just like this, days turned into weeks & the end of the month eventually got closer. it was the 31st. your day went on how it usually was, but nobody could imagine the stunned look on your face when stan told you to meet him at stark’s pond after class. your heart was racing as you were approaching the said location. you reached the lake, seeing the familiar figure of your friend.

he himself was painted with an embarrassed look. your mind went blank as he got closer & opened his mouth. “y/n, i’m slo glad you came. this is kinda humiliating. i mean, seeing me like this.” he stammers as he talks, “okay, i know this might be sudden but i like you. recently, i’ve started contemplating about how i felt towards you. and i’ve come to the conclusion that i’m absolutely fucked whenever i think of you because i just can’t seem to get you out of my head.” your gaze follows him as he turns his head, looking away. you hold his hands, seemingly making the raven haired boy redden even more. despite this, he doesn’t seem to mind.

“stan. i like you too, you don’t understand how happy i am just being in your presence. i’ve loved you since last year, i just couldn’t stand the idea of ruining our friendship over something i can’t control. just being together with you was enough, but now i’m not so sure.” he’s finally looking at you. your heart feels like bursting. he brings his face closer to yours, as you guys embrace each other. the warmth you felt that day couldn’t be described. & as the month finished, so was the constant confusion of your relationship with the boy you’ve liked.

👻 - OOH OKAY. Now, I could get REALLY into this with a multitude of different things but the main one has got to be not having control. It’s why he hates being “sick” and hates the aspect of having a service dog for a while. He can’t control when he’ll have a P.O.T.S flare up, he can’t control when he’ll have a bad high or low, he can’t control his tolerance to taking food by mouth nor can he control if it’ll trigger a flashback of some sorts. Mainly, he can’t control where he is on the dependency scale. Kyle needs someone to be there for extra supervision, as much as Noble has benefited him. But at the same time, Kyle is a very stubborn, independent person. He doesn’t want some constant dependency on someone. He has no control over his physical or mental health so he craves control over other factors in life so he doesn’t feel like such an unstable mess.

🫂 - Picking someone for this one was tricky but I think I’m gonna talk about Kyle and Tweek’s relationship while I have this. I see Tweek and Kyle as staying kind of close after Tweek was in their group. They help each other out, especially after Tweek is placed with the Broflovski’s during their senior year. Kyle shows Tweek some distraction techniques he’s picked up on and Tweek works with Kyle to find innovative ways to help him slowly regain some of his independence.

💔 - Such bad emetophobia. It’s not really bad when he’s not the one vomiting though. The ARFID really fucks him over. There was a short period of time where he went on and off the nasal tube, I wanna say like every now and then from 11-13. He really thought he was getting better…he wasn’t. The summer of freshman year is when he really started going downhill at a rapid pace. Just the thought of eating could send him vomiting. Sometimes it’s only for a few minutes, sometimes it's an hour plus.  It hurts, it makes him feel horrible and it happens so often. More often than not he’s shaking, hunched over the toilet bowl either fighting back or in tears. And the poor thing is left exhausted and feeling absolutely disgusting afterwards.

🌟 - This one’s a fun one too. He wants to travel, see the world you know? He’s been so coddled most of his life that he never got the proper chance to but he’s determined to make it happen.

If it weren’t for the crippling depression he’d be unstoppable. And no one suspected that he dances until the kids are like thirteen when Stan was bored out of his mind while the gang was at Starks Pond and started doing a bunch of fun tricks to entertain himself. The rest of the groups standing there, jaws on the floor, minds blown because since when did Stanley fucking Marsh know how to do this.

Kenny:

👻 - Losing a loved one, whether it’s a family or friends. Kenny is immortal, he’s gonna keep coming back, but the others? Any health scare, accident, or attempt of someone worries him a lot. It’s why he always has his bag of shit, he’s so worried about losing someone.

Kenny in this au is relatively happy, I mean yeah being chronically ill sucks total ass but he’s chilling with it. The only thing is that Kenny kills himself a lot. He’s ever curious and loves to see what happens. He ends up hanging in Hell with Damien for a while before being sent back and before he knows it he’s wondering “hm, wonder if that’ll happen again-“

Clyde: 

💤 - Clyde has a rocky sleep schedule. His health issues aren’t the reason for it though, it’s Fable. As mentioned in a previous post, she’s a little demon shit and has an ungodly amount of energy. Clyde finds this hysterical until it’s time to get up for school and he’s only slept like three hours.

🦾 - Clyde’s disability for the au is still being debated! Suggestions are currently open!

🥇 - I have a general headcanon that Clyde is really good at videography! Which, for all my Tyde girlies, falls into one of my general headcanons for Tolkien which is script writing. They make short films together and his biggest accomplishment is that one of their films won first place in their school's film contest.

😶 - He’ll play outside in the snow for HOURS. Even more now than when he was a kid since he’s got Fable. Clyde will just take her out for hours and they’ll have the time of their lives.

Butters:

👽 - Yet another personality quirk: Butters always has a ridiculous amount of enthusiasm for someone who’s been through so much shit in his life. He’s an optimist, it’s what draws people in.

💔 - Okay I just really love antagonizing his parents so so much. Haven is owner trained, Butters bought her himself when he was thirteen. When she was still a puppy something minor happens and Steven isn’t very happy about it so he fucking SELLS her. And Butters is so heartbroken. He only had this dog for a week and suddenly she’s just ripped away. It’s actually Cartman (for the most part) who helps him get her back. 

💄 - I know this one’s really basic but I adore giving Butters his eye scar from ‘Fun With Weapons”. It’s very intimidating but Butters is just a silly, goofy guy. 

😶 - Y’know those Instagram and Etsy shops that sell custom service dog gear? Butters is really into sewing and he runs one! Giving gifts has never been easier, he just makes them a new piece of gear.

Cartman: 

👻 - As much as I love antagonizing Cartman, I love when he has a soft spot for the main four (+Butters) a lot more. So if anyone’s acting out of character it lowkey has him shook. And with good reason, the gang has trauma from finding Stan post suicide attempt. It baffled Cartman since Stan had been acting more than okay for the past week. The bastard cares for his friends although he’ll never fucking tell them so he’s been paying attention to behavior changes ever since, even if they’re minor.

👽 - I’m actually gonna go dive a little deeper into the heterochromia thing. So if my memory is serving me correctly, the eye comes from Kenny so it’s blue. But every so often it has a purplish hue to it for a short period of time. Oh so conveniently, our favorite little poor boy is freshly back from Hell and his eye color has shifted from blue to a freakishly violet shade.

😺 - Oooooh y’all really want me to yap about Dolly. Firstly, she’s so soft. Like her fur was already soft but being that Cartman takes such good care of her, her fur is probably as good as it can get. He’s so gentle with her and she absolutely adores him. As for the rest of the kids: she’s not overly eager to go up to them but she likes them. Except for Kyle she fucking HATES him. 

😶 - Unfortunately Cartman is severely underdeveloped at the moment due to him being the most recent addition to the au so I literally don’t have anything else to say about him.

Craig: 

👻 - I feel like all of these fears have been really angsty but Craig’s is just spiders. They creep him the fuck out. Also high school musical-

🦾 - Epilepsy!

🌟 - It’s really a matter of what he wants to do first. He doesn’t act like it but Craig is really ambitious. Working in something with space is always something he’s wished to do. But he’s also into music (a mix of Tweek and Stan’s fault) and wants to learn violin. 

😶 - I love headcanoning that Craig has piercings so let’s jazz this up for the au a bit. In his late teen years he was (illegally) denied service at various piercing parlors because of Saturn. So he self teaches himself how to (semi) safely do piercings without being a professional and does them for his friends if they want.

Tweek: 

👽 - Second physical quick of the ask but it’s freckles! I love giving Tweek freckles but the ones that are barely visible at any time that’s not summer. That’s when they come out. 

🫂 - I already talked about his relationship with Kyle so let’s talk about Tweek and Clyde. I only just started playing around with their dynamic a few weeks ago while writing a bunch of Staig drabbles. It’s always really funny to me because you’ve got paranoid sarcasm meets hyperactive sensitivity.

🍫 - What a little stress baker! He can’t cook for shit but the boy sure can bake. And he like over bakes too. He doubles the recipe almost every time. It used to be easy to get rid of the extras, he’d just take them to the shop so they could be sold. But after the meth bust he’d basically ding-dong-ditch his friends and leave baskets of baked goods on their doorsteps. 

😶 - Him, Kenny, Kyle, and Bebe all drove out of Colorado for the weekend when they were seventeen because they all needed a break. They stayed at an inn for the weekend and no one knew where they went. So yeah, they were having the time of their lives while everyone back home was losing their shit.

I like it alot! I can see them somehow feeling like they’re already put inside a marriage (like in the vaccine specials where they were all acting like they were getting divorced 😭)

Like they’re so used to each other it feels weird not having themselves around each other like planets around a solar system, and off when someone outta the four is left absent (*cough* *cough* pc specials *cough*).

I don’t think they’d be able to live happily with out each other, I just can’t picture it yk? and I say it as platonically too. They’re family. And as much as they say they’d prefer being apart they would miss each other, the memories, bond, dynamics, intimate moments they had would never be able to shrug pass from.

It’ll be forever tainted in their souls even if they like to joke around that Cartman doesn’t have one.

Romantically however, I do see them working things out BUT i feel they’ll be preferences between each other like Kyle preferring to be hopelessly affectionate and sexual with just Cartman (sorry u guys this is my kyman possessiveness speaking jsjsjs) but Kenny would prefer being affectionate with Stan over Kyle and sexually driven to Kyle than Stan. It’s a good mixture they honestly have managed to address and are okay with it.

Cartman enjoys cuddling with Stan (he loves it over Kyle) however he craves Kyle with a passion? He’s his safe place and would most definitely shove anyone’s opinion down over his word, but he loves speaking endlessly with Kenny and his sense of humor makes him laugh feeling so close to him he prefers spending time with him over Stan and Kyle, but he’ll pick Stan for his softest moments like their mutual love for animals (cats to be more specific). (But never emotionally cause he hates having to deal with Stan’s emotional issues).

However Stan prefers Kyle sexually and emotionally, Kyle doesn’t like being around Stan when he’s being emotional! So he pays Kenny to deal with him (yes, Kyle’s a little asshole😂). But Stan is more honest and free with himself around Kenny, theres so much trust in him he can’t help himself feel secure. And with Cartman it’s all carnal, he’s emotional, yes, but he’s not very found with a clingy Cartman always on his lap holding him like if he was about to lose him or something.

no, i definitely think it was intentional that they did it. mox was NOT happy about the loss to hangman, which he proved in the promo after revolution. further proof is the promo he cut before one of the first 3 matches on a Road To, where he said part of the reason he always wins is because he doesn’t like to lose. i think that quote is important too in the context of the elite as a whole. you can’t forget that mox has lost to very few men in AEW, and four of them are Hangman, Kenny, Nick, and Matt.

then there’s also the fact that bryan communicated his love for his friends out loud, something the elite never does on television. sure, on BTE. but even on BTE you have them miscommunicating all to hell. it’s definitely a jab at how the elite can’t ever get on the same page, emotionally.

they hurt Stu, Mox killed Uno at one point, they hurt Alex and John, they (likely) injured the Bucks, and then they took out Hangman to get to Kenny.

Now, Hangman walks out here on his own when he says something akin to “there’s no professional wrestler left in that locker room—,” just like how mox at the end of november said “there’s nobody back there, nobody within 100 miles that has the balls to take me on.” naturally, hangman answered both these calls. because he’s a fucking idiot and i think they’ve figured him out completely. just like he told punk that he would protect the aew locker room from him, he’s constantly coming out when there are wild insults made at the expense of his locker room. he is constantly putting himself in danger without back up.

do y’all remember when brodie cut that promo on hangman? how he is constantly without back up? how he doesn’t ever realise that the odds are against him? you remember when brodie said the dark order would protect him? at a bar or in the ring? that they would never leave him alone?

the dark order has always done that. if they weren’t taken out beforehand. i wonder if they’ll ever call back to those words one day, because it was such a powerful promo at the time. and i haven’t forgotten about the bucks/dark order segment on BTE around All Out last year, where they all spoke and buried the hatchet. i’d like to see them come together for real to protect him.

but i am just worried about how many eggs are being juggled here that i’m worried they’ll drop the ball on a few of them. i hope it ends up making sense, because i THINK it Does, but there’s a few pieces missing still.

back to the question, though. I DO think that them targeting his situation with his friends is very telling of where this will go. if hangman has no friends, he’s fucked.

Episode 41- Trust, Review

Here we go again!

Episode 41.

I have to say I really, really liked this episode! I thought it had a perfect balance of action and dialogue.

Also (whether it was intentional or not) this episode was pretty darn funny! Honestly Levi’s sass,

That epic Springlestein charge!

and Flegel sitting on a guy’s fucking head had me in stiches! 😂😂

I have to say that every week I’m gaining more confidence in how Wit studio are doing this series. However (and I know I’m starting to sound like a broken record saying this every week but) I feel I need to see the entire arc animated before I’m satisfied. Like I neeeed to know the punch/smile scene at the end is there before I can rest in peace!

But that aside I really did enjoy this episode. This is probably gonna be a very boring review because it’s just going to be me saying how I loved everything.

But if you enjoy my shitty commentary do read on ... bad jokes guaranteed.

Ambush Scene

So yeah I loved this! Especially thug life Armin 😎.

The scene went down more or less exactly how it did in the manga. In fact this whole episode didn’t stray too far from the manga material, following the events of chapters 59 and 60 pretty closely. This makes me wonder if most of the huge changes are behind us and the anime will follow the manga storyline a lot more closely from now on.

Anyway, there I go again, rambling .... So we got to see Hitch and Marlo’s reaction to Annie being the female titan and I loved the scene where Jean tested them. I actually laughed hard because Jean is just too funny when he’s acting like a stabby psycho, plus I knew Hitch and Marlo weren’t in any real danger.

Also who knew Marlo was such a Levi fanboy.

Although I think bartender-kun still wins by a mile in the fanboy category 🤣

Hanji and Flegel vs. The MPs

Hanji was just incredible from start to finish in this episode!

I loved this scene not only because of Hanji and Moblit kicking ass but for Flegel’s character arc. So we got that scene where Hanji talks to him on the rooftop and urges him to stop running from his problems and help the Survey Corps; not only for their sake but for his. Hanji’s words obviously had an impact on him because in the end he chose to stop hiding. He stood up to the people who murdered his father and exposed them in front of multiple witnesses. It was very satisfying to see and I was so proud of him when he promised to look after the people like his father did.

Well done Flegel!

Meanwhile ...

Squad Levi ambush a camp of Interior Police and take some guy into the woods for interrogation ... and by “interrogation” I mean for some serious deepthroating involving a foot!

God Levi was so damn hot brutal in this scene. Zero fucks were given! Is it just me or has little Heichou had a serious sass glow up this season? Because he is one sarcastic bastard and I love it! Ooft every word that comes out of his mouth is just dripping with sweet sweet apathy! 🤤

*ahem* Ok being serious again. So the name ‘Kenny Ackerman’ was revealed. I guess this is why we haven’t heard anyone say Kenny’s full name until now. They must have been saving it to reveal at this moment. I’m sure by this point in the manga we’d already heard Traute refer to Kenny as ‘Captain Ackerman’ so his surname was already known to the readers by this point. I guess doing it this way gave it a little more impact as in the anime it is revealed to us at the same time as it is revealed to Levi and his squad. I loved Mikasa’s little gasp when the name “Ackerman” was said. I imagine Levi will have a lot of questions for her next episode.

I can’t wait!

Erwin and Nile

I really appreciated this scene because it was a real meaningful moment between these two old friends and we got to see Erwin at his most vulnerable. I feel like we were seeing the real Erwin and the real Nile stripped of their military commander positions and it seems like despite not always seeing eye to eye they still do care about one another. Erwin showed that he had feelings of remorse over the attack on Stohess which showed when he asked Nile if his house was in Stohess. In season 1 Nile came across as a bit of a villain, I mean he was the guy that literally wanted to cut Eren up but scenes like this really show that Nile Dok isn’t a bad guy at all, just a humble soldier and family man, doing what he thinks is best. Oh my God and they actually mentioned Marie! I’m a little sad that there was never any mention of how Erwin was once in love with her too but chose titans instead. Regardless this was a touching scene.

Hopes for next episode

I have to say for some reason at the end of this episode I was left with a real sense of excitement and anticipation. I guess maybe it was how the episode ended with Erwin on the verge of execution but also I think that after a few weeks of uncertainty about the restructuring, I’m finally starting to relax and just enjoy the series.

So if they are sticking more closely to the manga from now on I imagine next episode we will see parts of chapters 61 and 62 animated. If so I really hope they keep the part where Levi apologises to Hanji for the death of her squad. After seeing so many episodes of Levi being very harsh and brutal it would be nice for them to show his human side by having him express the guilt he’s been carrying over what happened. Also it would be good to see Nifa, Goggles and Keiji’s deaths being given a little more acknowledgment than they’ve had so far.

OH! I’ve just remembered something else exciting, the dub also premiers in a few days. Eeek!! I’m looking forward to watching that too as sometimes it’s good just to hear it in your own language. Also I like to compare the two!
