So I speak English (duh), but also a fair amount of Mandarin. My roommate who knows my tumblr knows not an insignificant quantity of Japanese and is also currently in Japan. She woke up 15 min ago and texted me in Japanese as a joke, and the very funny thing about knowing Mando is that I can tell you she’s telling me something about Japan (日本) and 6 am (午前六時) but I cannot tell for the life of me what she means by “それでも日本に午前六時です” nor can I pronounce any of it
