Of course! I literally cried when attempting the genocide route of Undertale I could never make the fictional characters suffer in their own universe.

However I have the mental power of ten billion bad fan fictions and WILL use that to my advantage

Gordon Freeman really is THE character ever because if you are having a bad day and want to take it out on a fictional being, you can put his ass in any angsty scenario.

Warzone, alien invasion, zombie apocalypse, tightspaces like the air vents (positive) or rubbish compactor (negative), overwhelming work parties, long gruelling work hours, apocalyptic cities, nightmare steroid zombie towns, the sewers etc etc

And because he is voiceless you can customise the fake interactions to go with your nightly portion of “making a fictional character have an exhausting experience to make it easier for yourself to sleep!”
