i wanna get fucked by bryn on mercer’s table. before mercer is dead. i want everyone to be out and about, technically nobody knows but they just kinda realise. yknow? i think that’d be funny. mercer realising what the weird darkened stains on the wood are.
what’s he gonna do? steal a rag from a beggar and crawl into mavens ass?
i wanna fuck bryn on that table.
aah YES like before they even know that he's actively sabotaging the guild or anything. it's just because he's an ass and they think it's funny.
mercer asking delvin why all of his paperwork is shuffled and out of order when he's positive he organized it before heading home. barging into the flagon and demanding to know who spilled a drink on his desk.
"how do you know it's a spill?"
"it's sticky, like one of you drunkards splashed ale on your way through the cistern!"
(nsfw below the cut. minors do not interact.)
Mercer was too lost in his anger to notice the look Brynjolf shot the new recruit from across the Flagon. No one was going to take responsibility. He told himself that it was fine, he expected to less from their run-down group.
"Stay away from my desk."
He swore he'd catch the culprit. He wasn't sure why he cared so much - maybe it was the amusement written clear as day across all their faces when he brought it up. They were mocking him. They thought he was overreacting. Well, he'd just have to show them how badly he could punish someone for messing with him.
Weeks passed and still his desk was disheveled. Mercer made a habit of arriving early to the Cistern to catch them - the stains on his desk had only grown after finding his inkwells spilled and dripping onto the ground. He'd lost itineraries of important shipments. It was not all in his head.
He counted each bed as he passed. Rune, Vipir, Niruin, Cynric. Mercer paused when he saw an empty bunk, scoffing a moment later when he spotted Brynjolf curled around the new recruit.
Mercer did not like her. The way she looked at him without a hint of fear was troubling. She gave him a bad feeling.
Since his outburst in the Flagon he'd felt more eyes on him, people snickering whenever called to his desk. A dull rage pulsed within him every time Rune snickered or Vex made a show of not touching his table. They all thought he was a fool, they'd lost respect for him. He couldn't put his finger on the reason but he knew it had to do with Brynjolf's new pet.
His tables at home weren't nearly as neat as his desk in the Cistern. Rolls of parchment were spread at every angle, books flipped open and quills placed haphazardly. After digging through every file and nearly tearing his hair out Mercer told himself that he'd simply left an important document in his desk. It was fine, he always locked the drawers. No one else could have seen it.
Despite the vein throbbing in his forehead he told himself that it was a good thing. Checking on his desk in the middle of the night was a great idea, none of his thieves would expect him so late. Surely he'd catch whoever was messing with his belongings.
The Cistern was near silent when Mercer slipped down the ladder. Water lapped at the stone floor and the faint chatter of the Flagon floated in easily. How had he never thought of coming in the middle of the night? Even if he didn't catch the culprit they'd all be drunk enough to spill some secrets.
"Bryn,"
One glance toward his desk and Mercer froze. Shame and rage flooded through his veins. He wasn't sure if he wanted to bolt back up the ladder or draw his sword.
Papers fluttered to the damp floor and ink stained the sides of his desk in fat drops. The recruit's hands clasped the edges of Mercer's desk which shook with each thrust Brynjolf sent into her. He saw the grin on Brynjolf's shadowed face, hands keeping her bare hips pinned to the table. He heard her whimpers and Brynjolf's guttural groans, her breathy voice when she begged him for more. Mercer's stomach churned horribly at the sight.
"Good job, lass." Brynjolf growled, carelessly shoving a roll of parchment into a puddle in his pursuit to kiss down her back. "You're doing so good for me."
"Gods, yes." She moaned and Mercer thought he was going to be sick. It was a terrible sight - Brynjolf fucking his new recruit over his desk, her nails scraping the varnish and arms stained with his ink. The recruit moaning and drooling on his itinerary when Brynjolf fucked her.
Every thrust of his hips sent more of Mercer's precious work flying all over the Cistern. Their Guild armor was a careless heap near his overturned chair. It was deplorable.
Mercer returned to his home without a word. He was sure no one had seen him as they were quite preoccupied. He did not sleep well - how exactly would he punish them? He could kick the recruit out. He could claim she stole something. It would be easy enough to drop a few extra septims into her pack and she'd be torn to shreds. Did Brynjolf care about her enough that it would whip him back into shape?
He stormed into the Cistern bright and early, satisfied with his plan for retribution. The state of his desk was worse than he'd ever seen it. Brynjolf didn't even make an effort to hide it. Mercer shivered at the memory of scrubbing something sticky off the table weeks ago, not lingering on what it could have been.
"Brynjolf." He boomed, awaiting the satisfaction of their shocked faces already. "I need a word with you and your recruit."
"She's sleeping." Brynjolf sounded awfully nonchalant when he spread his hands over the dried ink stains. Mercer was ready to unleash his fury, to tell Brynjolf that they were being turned in to the guards for their actions. "I'm sure you understand, Mercer. You got a good look last night."

𝑀𝑦 𝐺𝑖𝑟𝑙 𝑃𝑡.2 (𝑆𝑒𝑜𝑛𝑔ℎ𝑤𝑎×𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟)
Tumblr media
Part One/ Part Three / Part Four
Pairing: Badboy! Park Seonghwa (Ateez)/ Reader (Female)
Genre: Angst, Fluff, College Au.
Summary: Y/N has no idea what to make of the mysterious Park Seonghwa. Does he really like her or is he simply playing with her?
✿❯────「✿」───❮✿❯──「✿」────❮✿
Flipping the light switches off, Y/N typed in the security code into the pin pad before closing the door behind her, the faint beeping from inside letting her know that the alarm was functioning properly. She honestly wondered at times about if anyone would ever think about robbing a coffee shop. Granted it made a lot of money during certain seasons, but unless you actually work in one, you probably wouldn't think so. Yet it was surprising to know it could make as much money as any famous fast food restaurant. Well.....with those sky high prices, it made sense.
She stopped and checked to make sure she had everything in her bag, not wanting to risk having left her keys inside and find out until she reached her apartment. Satisfied by the confirmation, she began her walk home. If it had been fall or winter, she would have seriously considered taking a bus, even though it wasn't that far away. But it was summer and thankfully there was still an hour left before the sun finally set. She truly believed she was lucky to have found a place to live that was close not only to her workplace, but also her school, even if it was a tiny studio apartment. She felt proud to say it was hers.
Feeling something tug on her sneaker, she looked down and realized one of her shoes was untied. She bent down and began tying it up again, carelessly placing her bag right next to her on the street. She was so focused on her task in front of her, she failed to notice the looming figure in front of her.
"You know anybody could just whisk away your bag and run at this moment?"
She snapped her head back up and saw Seonghwa standing in front of her, an amused smile on his face. He bent down and picked up her bag, dusting off the dirt that had gotten on the bottom part of it in the process.
"Tsk. Tsk. And here I thought you were a more.... what's the word? Meticulous person."
Y/N gave him a questioning gaze before standing up, quickly grabbing her bag from him.
"Not even a thank you?" Seonghwa shook his head.
"What are you still doing here? I thought you went home." Y/N said, clearly confused as to why he'd be there still.
Seonghwa raised an eyebrow at her.
"I thought I told you back in the shop that I'd see you later?"
Y/N recalled the moment, it did seem weird to her that he'd say that.
"Well doll, it's later......and I wanted to see you." He explained, a slight smirk tugging on the corners of his lips.
Y/N let out a tiny scoff.
"Why?"
Seonghwa blinked at her response.
"I thought I made myself clear the other day Y/N. I like you."
Y/N blushed slightly at the memory of him confronting her back in school. She was hoping the shadow from the building in front of her casted enough to hide it from him.
"And I said there would be plenty of time to get to know each other.....well I'm free right now and obviously so are you. So why don't we get something to eat? My treat."
He grinned at her, obviously not expecting her to turn down his offer. Any other girl wouldn't say no to Seonghwa. But Y/N wasn't any girl, and she wasn't about to say yes to someone she hardly knew. Especially not when he acted so strange for her liking.
"No thank you."
She quickly responded and took a step to walk away from him, but his hand reached out and stopped her from moving any further.
"Why not?" He asked.
Y/N tried to think of an excuse, any quick excuse to get out of this.
"I'm not hungry." Was the best thing she could think of.
The loud grumbling of her stomach was a dead giveaway of her fat lie. After working 8 hours straight with only a bowl of cereal for breakfast and a muffin on her only break, of course she was borderline starving and needed something in her stomach before it began eating itself. Her hands clutched her stomach, hoping to silence the obnoxious noise, but ultimately just making it more obvious.
Seonghwa looked down at her figure and snorted softly.
"Seriously, I know a really good place here that sells burgers and shakes. Are you really going to say no to free food?"
At this point she could either tell him to fuck off and stomp away home, but ultimately she'd leave even more hungry and would still have to whip up something on the stove that would take approximately half an hour or more. Or she could accept his offer, but it'd mean interacting with him, not that it was necessarily a bad thing, but she honestly didn't know what to make of him. He's been straightforward with her all this time, but how was she to know he was being serious? For all she knew, he could just be playing with her. After all, isn't that what all bad boys are known for?
Guess there was only one way to find out.
✿❯────「✿」───❮✿❯──「✿」────❮✿
Y/N looked around at the 50's themed diner she was in:
Black and white tiled floor that was so clean it almost looked slippery. Cherry red leather seats, either in the form of booths, tables or chairs on the front white counter that stretched at least 40 feet. An array of old records hanged on the wall, whether or not you could actually play them on a record player or if they were just flimsy decorations would forever be a secret. An old juke box was stationed in one of the corners of the counter currently playing The Beatles, its color combination of yellow and blue not quite appealing to the eyes. And of course, a pinball machine was placed near the entrance for kids to waste their quarters on. They even had a light blue 1955 convertible Chevrolet Bel Air for people to go take pictures of or with. At this point it wouldn't have surprised Y/N if waitresses came out of the kitchen in roller skates and started singing songs from Grease or Hairspray.
It became an even more ironic thought when she saw Seonghwa walk back to her with their food. Dressed in a white shirt, distressed jeans, black combat boots and black leather jacket with his hair slicked back, he could almost be a modern day Danny Zuko and for some reason, that thought made her bust a tiny giggle.
"What's so funny?" Seonghwa asked as he sat the tray down in front of her.
"Oh....nothing." She was not about to get caught.
Seonghwa looked at her funny, but ultimately decided not to pry.
"Here you go."
He slipped her food in front of her: a burger the size of her two hands and a 32 ounce chocolate shake with whipped chocolate and a cherry on the top. A well sized platter with regular fries and curly fries made it obvious that they were going to share them. She didn't mind though, the portions were so big she doubted she'd even finish half of it.
She dug into the food, her stomach thanking her for finally putting something in her body. She was so hungry that she didn't care if she was eating like how she usually ate when she was at home, messy and slobbish. She was halfway through her burger, when she caught Seonghwa just staring at her. That's when she started to feel self conscious. She quickly swallowed what was currently in her mouth and grabbed a napkin to wipe the corners of her mouth.
Seonghwa giggled at her.
"Don't worry about it. It's pretty refreshing to see a girl not care about how she looks like when she eats, and to actually eat. You have no idea how many girls I've brought here who only get salads and nothing else."
He cringed slightly at past memories of awful dates that make him wanna kick himself for even thinking they were attractive. He blamed himself though. He tended to only look at pretty faces and end up regretting it when he found out they were all self-centered, shallow, and prissy girls that just made his blood boil.
"Maybe that's why I like you. You're different."
He didn't even realize he said that out loud until she whipped her head up at him. He was stunned that he accidentally let that slip, but he was able to play it off coolly.
"How......how can you..... we've never even..?" Y/N couldn't even completely form her question but Seonghwa knew what she was referring to.
Sighing softly, he began:
"Well I'm going to sound like a total creep now but that's inevitable. It was a few months back, when you had changed majors and had to be transferred to our class..."
Seonghwa ignored the usual reprimand of the professor, telling him he was late again. As if he didn't do it on purpose. He just hated this class. It was undoubtedly one of the most boring subjects one could possibly take. He began to stare off into space, not even bothering to listen to what was being said.
He looked around at the familiar faces he saw in class, the same people from last year. Until a head of (insert hair color) hair caught his eye. She was definitely not there before. Seonghwa tried to think if he had ever seen her around before, but couldn't quite remember.
Unknowingly, he found himself staring at her more and more each time they had class together. He found out she had a habit of tapping her pen against her cheek when she was trying to concentrate, she kept everything in her bag organized and hardly socialized with anybody.
One time he followed her to her locker, just to briefly see what was inside of it. You can always tell a lot about a person based on how they decorate their locker. But Seonghwa only saw a few pictures of what he assumed was her family, few friends and a lot of sticky notes with motivational quotes written on them in various sharpie colors, with either stars or diamonds as decorations.
That just peeked his curiosity even more in trying to decipher who the mysterious girl was, and his curiosity turned to fondness for the girl, so he had no choice but to admit that he was attracted to her and wanted to get close to her.
"Wait. Is that why you were staring at me in class the other day?" Y/N asked after he told her all that.
"Took you long enough to notice too. You were so oblivious to it that it was kinda funny." He chuckled.
Y/N looked back at that moment and realized she still had so many questions left.
"But then why did you look angry after I looked away?"
Seonghwa shifted his position, sitting up straighter so he could look at her.
"Why? Cause you looked at me with such a bitch face and even rolled your eyes at me. I was kinda angry and hurt that you did that given how I feel about you." He explained.
Y/N looked at him confused.
"I did not roll my eyes at you."
"Uh....yeah. You did. You looked at me as if I was a bug or something." He corrected her.
"Well..... I was tired and hungry! I'm not in control of my actions or emotions when I'm in that state." She tried defending herself, feeling somewhat embarrassed that she had no control over her facial expressions.
"Yeah, I've noticed. You weren't all that happy 25 minutes ago when I asked you out on this date." Now it was Seonghwa's turn to roll his eyes at her previous behavior.
"This....this isn't a date!" Y/N exclaimed.
Seonghwa raised an eyebrow and smiled.
"Oh no? Do enlighten me then. What is this?"
Y/N thought about it for a moment.
"We are just 2 individuals, having a meal together and conversing." She stated.
"Why are we conversing though?" Seonghwa continued to pry.
Y/N hummed.
"Because you said you wanted to get to know me better?"
Seonghwa smiled at that.
"Sounds to me like a date then."
Y/N mentally face palmed. She practically walked into that one herself. She sighed as she picked up one of the fries and dipped it into her milkshake before eating it.
"And now I've learnt one more thing about you: we have similar tastes in eating."
Y/N watched as he mirrored her actions and dipped his fries in his strawberry milkshake. Y/N decided to just finish eating as soon as possible so she could go home early. The sun was starting to set and she didn't like walking home in the dark, even if rarely any crime happened in this neighborhood. She was planning on not saying anything else, but then something popped in her mind that made her ask:
"Wait a minute! The day after the.....incident." She began.
"You mean when you were a total bitch?" Seonghwa teased.
"Haha, funny." She threw a fry at him, causing Seonghwa to laugh even harder.
She had to admit though, he had a cute laugh.
"Anyways, the day afterwards, I heard 2 girls talking in the bathroom about you. They said that you were pissed off at me-"
"I kinda was." He interrupted her again.
"Let me finish!" She cried out rather annoyed.
Seonghwa bit his lip as he stifled another laugh. He found it adorable when Y/N got agitated.
"They made it sound like you were going to beat me up. Something about 'giving it to me'" She held up her fingers in quoting signals.
Seonghwa furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, trying to decipher what she meant. Then it hit him.
"Oh! No. Trust me, I wasn't going to beat you up. As for 'giving it to you' "
He mimicked her quotation signs, causing Y/N to glare at him for teasing her again.
"I was referring to the notepad you dropped. Remember? I gave it back to you?"
Now she face palmed literally as she realized she hadn't thought about that. And here she thought she was dead meat for sure.
"Was that why you were avoiding me the rest of the week? You actually believed I was going to fight you?"
Y/N swirled her milkshake with her straw, unable to look at Seonghwa in the eyes anymore.
"Y/N? I'm talking to you. You really believed that?"
The authority in his voice made her look up at him, his expression showing offense and indignation at the thought that she actually believed him capable of such a thing.
"Why would you think that?" He continued his interrogation.
"Well..... I don't know! Ok? Maybe cause I've heard so many rumors about you. You don't exactly have the best of reputations at school. Everyone says how you're...."
Her voice trailed off, afraid to finish her sentence, afraid to offend or hurt him in anyway .
"That I'm a delinquent? A criminal?"
Y/N blinked when he said that, as if he could read her mind.
"I know what people say about me, I'm not blind nor deaf to their gossip." He stated, not at all unfazed by what he often heard.
"So does that mean none of it is true?" She couldn't help but want the answer to her question.
"Well depends. Have I gotten into a lot of fights with other guys? Yes. Do I have a temper at times that gets me in trouble? Yes. Have I fucked a bunch of girls just for fun? Definitely. Do I smoke or drink often? I'm not denying it."
Seonghwa reached into his pocket and took out his lighter, twirling it around in his hand a few times so Y/N could get a glance at it before putting it back in his pants.
"But have I ever vandalized, stolen or done anything remotely illegal? No. Have I beaten someone up for no good reason? No."
Y/N listened to his words very carefully. She was amazed how he was calmly telling her all of this.
"And I most certainly have never even thought about lifting a finger against a woman. Especially not one I'm interested in." He confessed abruptly, causing Y/N to gulp her drink a little fast, nearly making her choke.
"I'm sorry." She apologized.
Seonghwa chuckled softly.
"Don't be. I get why you'd be scared. I just wish you'd get to know the real me......"
He reached his hand out and lightly brushed his finger on the top of her knuckles.
"Kinda like how I want to know you..."
The physical contact sent a weird feeling down her body. It was chilly, yet warm at the same time. She wanted to reach out and lace her fingers in his, and she would have, until a high pitched voice interrupted them.
"Seonghwa! Is that you?!"
They looked over to see a purple haired boy waving his hand in the air, as if his loud voice didn't make his presence already known. A pink haired boy was standing next to him, looking embarrassed as his friend jumped up and down. Having had enough of that, he pulled the boy by his arm and ran over to Seonghwa and Y/N's table.
"Hi! What a coincidence to see you here! Why didn't you tell us you would be here? You could have joined Yeosang and I. He promised to take me out to eat." He pulled whom Y/N assumed to be Yeosang closer to him.
The purple haired boy spoke so loud and fast Y/N had a hard time understand what he was saying.
"Promised? I was threatened." Yeosang replied, causing the other boy to let out a loud laugh, making Y/N think of a hyena.
"Hyung, where are your manners? Aren't you going to introduce us to your girlfriend?"
Seonghwa blushed and cleared his throat. It was the first time Y/N saw him get flustered and it was definitely funny.
"Y/N isn't my girlfriend-"
"Oh really? Great! Cause she's cute."
The boy wasted no time and held his hand out to her.
"My name is Wooyoung, I'm single, Bi, and I have a driver's license." He winked at her.
"For a moped." Yeosang corrected him.
Wooyoung sent a glare towards his friend.
"Y/N, these are my friends: Wooyoung and Yeosang. They go to our school, but you've probably never seen them cause they're a grade below us."
Y/N nodded and waved awkwardly at them.
"Yeosang, Wooyoung, this is Y/N. She's not my girlfriend, but she's off limits. Ok?" Seonghwa made sure to lock eyes with Wooyoung, silently warning him not to step any further into his territory.
"So if she's not your girlfriend, does that mean she's a fuck bud-"
Yeosang stepped on Wooyoung's foot, causing him to bend over in pain. Yeosang however smiled sweetly as if nothing happened.
"Anyways, it was nice seeing you Hyung. We wouldn't want to take up more of your time. Besides, we'll be seeing you tomorrow at Hongjoong's party. Right?"
Seonghwa nodded.
"You know I never pass up an opportunity to party."
"Will you bring Y/N with you?" Wooyoung asked, hoping she'd come.
Seonghwa looked over to Y/N, who tried to think of an answer.
"Uh... no thanks. I wasn't invited so-"
"Who cares? No one needs an invitation these days. It's a frat party anyways, a bunch of strangers end up coming in the end." Wooyoung insisted.
"I'll....think about it." Y/N knew she wouldn't.
"Ok! I'll take it as a yes. I'll see you guys tomorrow."
Taking a hold of Yeosang's hand, Wooyoung made his way over to another table, the pink haired boy already looking exhausted at the thought of spending at least 2 more hours with his highly energetic friend.
Y/N smiled softly at them. They were definitely an odd pairing, but they seemed to compliment each other.
"It's getting late. Want me to take you home?" Seonghwa asked her.
"It's fine. I can walk. It's not that far." She refused.
"I insist. I want to make sure you get there safely." He insisted.
Y/N smirked at him.
"Are you really concerned for my safety or do you just wanna find out where I live?"
Seonghwa's mouth dropped at her insinuation.
"I don't..... ok you got me there."
She chuckled at his reaction, but ultimately got up.
"Ok. Fine. Take me home. The worst you can possibly do is murder me and throw my body in a lake."
Seonghwa shook his head and picked up his jacket. He made sure to hold the door open for her when they went out. Y/N didn't even notice he had stopped walking until she heard him whistle behind her. Turning around, she saw him standing next to a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle. She raised her hands and gestured him to explain.
"I told you I was taking you home."
He tapped the seat.
"So come on. Hop on doll."
He began taking out the spare helmet for her to put on. She walked back to him and placed her hands on her hips.
"You kept it parked here the entire time?" She asked him.
"Uh huh." He responded.
Her face was full of shock.
"Did you know that I would say yes to coming here with you?"
"Well not exactly 'knew'.......more like....hoped."
He winked at her before placing the helmet above her head, making sure to strap it tightly.
"Safety first."
After putting on his own helmet, he got on the motorcycle and waited for her to get on. She awkwardly threw her leg over the seat and hesitated to wrap her arms around him. Seonghwa huffed and simply grabbed her wrists to put them on his stomach.
As soon as he started revving up the motorcycle, Y/N tightened her grip around him. Even through his shirt, she could feel rock solid abs underneath it. It made her wonder what he looked like without a shirt. The thought temporarily distracted her from the worry of actually riding in a motorcycle for the first time.
Sensing her fear, Seonghwa grabbed one of her hands and gave it a light squeeze.
"Don't worry doll. I'll keep you safe."

Lay all your love on me | Part 1

W/C: 2.8k.
A/N: Hello! This is the first part of Lay all your love on me. You can find the next parts on my pinned masterlist here.
MASTERLIST
Your last day on set has finally arrived. It's amazing how time flies when you're busy doing things you really love, surrounded by magnificient people. It makes you forget about your every day routine and to have some fun from time to time.
Everybody was getting their make-up done for the last day of filming. As you entered the trailer in order to get yours done, a sweet, delicate voice called you.
"(Y/n)! Are you ready for our last day?" Lucy asked with a bright smile on her face while sitting on her personalized black chair, which had her name written at the back.
You smiled. "To be honest, I'm not doing too well, I'm gonna miss you guys so much." You said with a pouty face. Lucy said she would miss all of you too.
“Oh, nice baby bump!”
You furrowed your brows but then you remembered. You were wearing a fake silicone belly, since your character was going to be pregnant in that scene.
“Yeah, he’s kicking so hard.” You joked.
You sat on your chair as your assistant helped you put your wig.  You laughed at your reflection in the mirror. "I still can't used to this wig." You found it odd to wear a blonde wig.
“At least they didn’t give you a perm!” Joe appeared holding two cups of coffee on each of his hands. “Here you have, my wonderful wife.” he approached you and gave you one of the cups. You laughed at his comments.
“Thank you, Mr. Deacon.” You thanked him and left a kiss on his cheek.
Joe bringing you coffee on set every morning became a habit, one you were very delighted with. He was so kind with you that you swore your heart could just melt for every little thing he did for you.
And while drinking your coffee, you remembered your very first day on set and how you and Joe started talking.
Filming had already started by your first day on set. Today, you would meet the entire cast of the wonderful movie you were going to take part in. You felt an overwhelming joy for being part of such an incredible project, not only because it was a big step in your career as an actress, but also because you were a Queen fan. And it was your very first time in London.
Your very first scene was Freddie’s birthday party. You greeted all of your new cast mates before paying attention to the director’s indications.
You sat between two of your cast mates. One of them was wearing a long-haired blonde wig and the other a long-haired brown one with a strange fringe. You were wearing a wig as well. It was a black-haired one with a fringe and low pony tails falling over your shoulders. Your eyes had a beautiful emerald eye-shadow which you weren’t very comfortable with but you didn’t care, you were another person now, it was your job.
As they started filming, you kept a conversation with the actor that played John Deacon’s role, your husband, of who you didn't remember his name. You smile at each other and them you both joined the conversation that the others were having about Freddie’s life as his mom stood up and looked for family pictures.
The director decided to take some breaks in between the scenes. It was a good opportunity to introduce yourself and to make some new friends.
“Hey, nice to meet you. I’m Ben.” said the blonde one who was next to you and you told him your name. The other actors joined him and all of you started talking. There was something strange in one of them, the one who was next to you and introduced himself as Joe. Why was he talking so weird?
“Why are you doing a bad American accent?” You asked him laughing. He furrowed his eyebrows and opened his mouth but didn’t say anything, he looked as if he was trying to find the words to say. “B-but, t-that’s my voice.” he said confused.
“Oh shit, I’m so sorry.” You said and covered your face with your hands. That’s why you don’t have friends, stupid, you said to yourself.
Your face was burning and you felt absolutely embarrassed. How long have you been on set? Three hours? And you were already causing trouble.
He laughed. “Nevermind. What an awesome compliment. I mean, I’ve been working on it so hard and you thought that I was actually British but...What’s wrong with my voice? I think it’s a pretty convincing American accent. Anyway, thanks for the compliment.”
“I’m really really sorry, I don’t know why I said that.” Your face was still red. You wished the Earth would swallow you, you wanted to disappear from his sight. He put his hand on your shoulder.
“Hey, you don’t need to apologize. I really meant what I’ve said, it was a nice compliment, I’m prouder of myself now!” He assured you and gave you an expression that indicated everything was okay and there wasn’t anything bad at what you had said, he wasn’t mad at that.
You weren’t very convinced but after getting closer to him the following days, you realized that he was telling you the truth and there wasn’t anything you should worry about. After that, you both talked about each other’s lives. You found out he lived in New York, just as you. He was from there but you were from New Jersey. You told him how you ended up moving to New York to study and work on your acting career. Since that day, you both became very good friends. And the same thing happened with Ben, Gwilym, Rami and Lucy, you became close to them because of your new friendship with Joe.
“Let’s take a picture for Instagram.” Joe suggested. You stood next to him, with your right hand covering half of your mouth showing surprise and Joe put one of his hands on your fake belly and the other did the same as yours.
Lucy took the photo.
@Joe_Mazzello: Say hi to the Deacon family! @(y/n)(y/s/n) #BohemianRhapsody #Queen #DeaconFamily
~
The director was giving the last indications for the scene. We will rock you. You were on a sofa next to Joe, having a conversation as Ben did the same with the actress who played his wife and the one who was Gwilym’s wife sat there looking at him, while he was looking at Rami, completely annoyed. The girls were very good actresses but unfortunately, they weren’t very close to the rest of the cast and won’t be joining the future tour press since they have another projects in the pipeline.
“You look so funny in that blonde wig.” Joe teased you, knowing that you hated it.
Actually, Joe wanted to tell you that you looked beautiful, as always, but he wasn't bold enough to do it.
"Shut up or I'll take your wig off." You threatened him, he mocked you and rested his head on your shoulder.
And after that, Gwilym ordered everybody to join him. He came up with the beat of a new song he had been working on. Suddenly, all of you were clapping your hands at the third beat as Rami appeared and apologized for being late. He asked what was going on and Gwilym explained he wanted to give the audience a song they could perform and be part of it and you all began to sing and clap your hands.
"Cut!" The director shouted.
And everything was done. There were no scenes left, nothing else. After that, Rami suggested to go and have coffee. All of you were sat on the floor and drinking your coffee.
"I can't believe it's our last day." You said.
"I still remember the very first time you were on set." Gwilym said. "And the odd American accent." he moved his gaze from you to Joe and laughed.
"Oh no, please, I'm still ashamed of that." You begged him not no bring that back.
Memories from set were mentioned as you took a sip of coffee. You had a big smile on your face as you remembered probably one of the best days of your life and the best memory on set.
"Who's coming over?" You asked Rami, who was taking his crown off and put in on your head, you laughed.
"I don't know, darling. Maybe some fans." He shrugged. He got used to talking like Freddie.
After Freddie's party scene in Garden Lodge, the director suggedted to take a break and said that they had some guests on set that day.
"I thought we were going to film the I want to break free music video now." Gwilym said thoughtful with his hand on his chin.
"Hey mates, look who are here today!" Ben said as he, Joe and Lucy stood next to you, Rami and Gwilym and pointed at the door.
You couldn't believe your eyes when you saw them.
Brian May and Roger Taylor were a few feet away from you. Brian and Roger, from Queen, your favorite band, your idols.
"Hey folks, How are you doing today?" Asked Brian with a charming smile.
Everybody greeted them but you. You were in shock, your face was as white as a sheet and your jaw was slacked. Lucy seemed to notice you and held your hand.
Joe put his hand in your back and rubbed it softly. “Let’s go outside and catch some fresh air.”
“Hey, who’s this pretty lady?” Roger asked. He took off his black glasses.
“(Y/n) are you okay?” Lucy asked worried and the four men next to you turned to look.
Oh God, you were absolutely nervous. Never in your craziest dreams you thought about having this opportunity. You knew that Brian and Roger sometimes visited the set but you didn’t think they would do it a day you were there.
“I-I-I’m (Y/n)...” you extended your shaky hand. “Oh sorry for this, but I’m a big fan of Queen and...Oh God I can’t believe it!” Roger laughed and took your hand and shook it. You thought you were going to faint. You could feel your knees weaken.
“No! I’m okay” You were shaking.
“Wow, it’s nice to meet you. I’ve seen some pictures of you here on set with these amazing people, you’re doing amazing.” He said and Brian nodded.
“We’re finally meeting!” Brian said and you smiled with watery eyes.
Joe wondered what made you deal with so much pain, you'd never said anything about that. He felt his heart broke at the mere thought of you being in pain.
Brian and Roger were absolutely grateful for your words.
“I feel like I’m dreaming.” You laughed nervously. “You guys don’t have an idea of how much I appreciate you, your music helped me to heal so much pain and I will be forever grateful for that. I wanna show you something.” You said as you uncover your left wrist from your sleeve. You had a beautiful butterfly tattooed and under it, a lyric from one of your favorite songs by Queen, Spread your wings. “I’ve had this for over 12 years now and one of my biggest wishes was to show it to both of you someday and to thank you for everything."
“I’m glad our music help you in any possible way.” Brian said “And your tattoo is amazing. John would be very pleased If he saw it” You smiled.
“I love it.” Roger said. “Hey Bri, why don’t we take a photo with her for Instagram?”
“That would be nice.”
Oh my God.
"Let me be your photographer." Rami asked Brian for his phone and took some photos of your tattoo and others of you with them. A few minutes after that, your phone buzzed. Queen has tagged you on a post.
@OfficialQueenMusic: “So glad to meet a fan today that will be part of our upcoming movie. Thank you for sharing your story with us @(y/n)(y/s/n) #BohemianRhapsody”
That was, by far, the best day of your entire life.
“Hey, come back to Earth, where are you?” Ben asked moving a hand in your face. You shook your head.
“I was thinking about the first time I met Brian and Roger.” You blushed and he laughed.
“Oh, the day you almost pass out” Ben joked and you slapped him on his arm. “Hey, Am I telling a lie?”
“Of course I almost pass out, my eyes were lucky to see Brian and Roger in person.” You and Ben giggled.
“I’m going to miss you, do you know that?” Ben asked.
“So do I!” You hugged him. Smiling. "You know I'm going to visit you."
Those weeks on set made you realize how lucky you were to find such incredible people. After years and years of being alone in your misery. After the countless nights you cried yourself to sleep and feeling like a piece of shit for being so alone in this world, everything was making sense now.
You never told them about what you had been through. Being a teenager wasn’t easy. You wanted people to destroy the concept that your teenage years are supposed to be fun and those are the best years of your life because when you hit your late 20s, responsibilities are hard to manage and everything seems to be falling apart. Why couldn’t you be happy now?
Now, that you were 30, that everything was left behind. You wished you could say that you were a happy teenager and you didn’t have to fake a smile and pretend everything was okay. There were days you barely could get out of your house and see other people, or even worse, some days you couldn’t get out of bed and shower because there wasn’t any motivation at all. And no one understood. No one knew how hard it was being you, having such an stressful life that you worried about every little thing and it seemed you would never be at peace. You never felt safe. How hard it was to interact with others without thinking that they just did it to be nice to you or that they were desperately waiting for you to shut your fucking mouth. Isolation didn’t feel right. Loneliness didn’t feel right. Nothing felt right at all. You couldn’t keep pretending to be happy, you needed a reason to keep holding on, something that made you believe that your life was going to change, you wanted to be back on your feet and to know that all of that pain was gone.
Maybe it wasn’t so hard to be you, and eventually, you would find out where you belonged. You felt it was taking forever and you couldn’t wait for things to get better. You knew that someday things would be better and that your day would come. Sometimes you wished someone would save you, but you knew that you had to save yourself. If only you could find what you've been looking for. "How could this happen to me? "was the only thing that was always on your mind. You were sick of this life, you wanted to scream. You felt out of place, you were sick of feeling so left out.
And at that moment, you knew that your 18-year-old-self would be proud of you. Proud of the woman you had become and that now, all of your worries were left behind. You didn’t have to worry about that again, but it was still hard to open your heart and tell people about it. You weren’t embarrassed, it was part of you, part of your story but you didn’t want people to pity you.
You didn’t realize you were almost crying until Joe spoke.
“What’s going on?” He hugged you. Your vision was blurry, it was difficult for you to see clearly. You wiped your tears with your thumb and you chuckled.
“I’m very emotional today. I’m grateful for everything that this movie brought me, especially the five of you.”
There was a broad smile on Joe’s face. “Well, I’m glad you say that because you won’t get rid of me so easily, huh?” He joked. Joe always knew how to make you smile. But he was right, you lived like 30 minutes away from him, you would see each other everyday. “I have a list of places we’re visiting after coming back to New York.”
“That’s why I love you.” You hugged him again. He smiled.
Joe felt something on his chest. He wished that I love you meant something else than being loved as a friend, but at the same time, he didn’t want to feel like this, he didn’t want to be in love again. Since his last girlfriend cheated on him with his friend, he couldn’t feel anything for someone. All of his dates failed and he decided to take some time for himself.
But there was something Joe couldn’t deny, when you were near, everything seemed so easy, he could look into your eyes and forget the world.
“I love you even more.”

Hello! I'm not sure if you're still taking prompts, if not, feel free to ignore this! I couldn't find the emoji prompt list other prompts seem to come from, but would you consider writing something about can coming out to ley/ley finding out about tincan? (ik trending war kind of deals with this but i'd love to see something focusing on can&ley bonding!) I hope I'm not bothering you! Your writing is wonderful, the flow is so good and your characterization so on point! (also your tin is the best)
Hi! Thank you so much for your prompt and nice words ^-^ I really do love Ley a lot so this was fun to write. I hope you like it!
Siblings
Can had thought he had been silent. He hadn’t pushed stuff from tables or counters, he hadn’t slammed the doors and he had avoided the fourth step of the stairs. Nobody should have heard him coming back into the house.
He was very proud of himself that he didn’t scream as he entered his room and Ley sat on his bed blinding him with the light of her phone.
“Fuck!”, he whispered with intent and closed his eyes. He put a hand above his heart to make sure it wasn’t outside of his body and took a deep breath.
“What the hell? What are you doing here? Take that light down!”, he whispered and tried to step towards his bed with his eyes closed because Ley pointed the light as if she wanted to permanently blind him.
“Where were you?”, she whispered back, grabbed him by his t-shirt and dragged him down on the bed with her.
“Are you the police? What are you doing in my bedroom? It’s four am, you should be asleep.”
“You should be asleep! Where were you?”
Can tried to get the phone, but Ley twisted away and years of mastering the art of fighting silently made it able for them to only produce a grunt now and then.
“Stop it,” Can hissed and pinned Ley on her back.
“I’m going to bite you, you know I will!”
They stared at each other, the light from the phone illuminating their faces with weird shadows and Can was tired, so he sighed and let her go.
“I’m an adult, I can go out if I will, and I did so in the past. What is your problem?”
As if she had waited for these words she sat up, straightened herself and pointed a finger at him.
“You’re not drunk!”, she said and Can frowned. He hadn’t been that bad in the past!
“Someone is bringing you home, but not to our front door, so you don’t want people to find out who is bringing you home.”
Maybe his sister was the police, Can thought.
“You stay out way longer than before. 2 am was the maximum for you for years!”
Can threw his hands up and leaned against the wall connecting their two bedrooms. “People can change, you know.”
“Ha!”, she whispered as if he had said something suspicious. “So there is something.” She pointed the light in his face again and he groaned.
“Just because people change doesn’t mean there has to be a cause. Sometimes people just change their habits… just because.” Why was she so insistent? Normally she wasn’t interested in his private life. Besides Pete and his gayness, she found his friends boring.
Maybe he should start talking about football? She favoured volleyball so he could bore her enough for her to leave?
“Are you in love?”
The moment he twitched he knew he had lost. He saw how her face changed from suspicious to excited and she took one of his pillows to muffle her scream.
“What is there to scream about?” he asked annoyed and took the pillow back to hug it. She punched him against the arm and he really wanted to yell so that his mum would wake up. She would scold him too, but at least Ley would also be in trouble.
“Who is it, you have to tell me!”
“I don’t have to tell you.”
“Oh come on. You never had a girlfriend before. I need to know it!”
Girlfriend… yeah.
He ran his fingers through his hair and wasn’t sure what to do. He knew she wouldn’t react negatively to him having a boyfriend and… before he didn’t want to tell anyone because he wasn’t sure what it was. Then, because he wanted him for himself for a bit longer…
Tin. He sighed and then was annoyed with himself because it was a dreamy sigh and Tin was never allowed to find out about it.
“It’s not a girl,” he said and his heart hammered in his chest. “It’s a boyfriend.”
Ley’s mouth formed a shocked ‘O’ and then she grabbed his arm to shake him vigorously. He rolled his eyes at her.
“Who is it? Do I know him? Who is it!”
She didn’t stop shaking him so he stayed silent until she had calmed down a bit.
“Do I know him?”, she asked again. “Is it one of your football friends? Is it your captain?”
“P’Techno?”, he asked bewildered and wasn’t sure what he should think about that possibility. He liked his captain and clung at him a lot but… oh. Maybe that was the reason why Tin gave P’No always the stink-eye?
“It’s not P’No,” he said. He hugged the pillow tighter and bit his lips nervously. Was Ley even going to believe him? Tin wouldn’t care if he told Ley, he liked her and he had kissed Can a thousand times in front of students already. Can sighed again. They had made out in the car before Can had reluctantly climbed out of it so it wouldn’t be too late and he would get a few hours of sleep but he really hadn’t wanted to. He could still smell Tin’s aftershave if he concentrated hard enough and the feeling of his hands against his cheeks and…
“Earth to Can? You’re still here?” Ley laughed silently at him and he pouted. He wanted to tell Ley but had no idea how.
‘Just say the word,’ he heard Tin’s voice in his head. Yeah, but words were hard.
He stared at Ley and she squinted her eyes at him.
“It’s Ai Tin,” he said as fast as possible.
There was a moment of utter silence.
“No!”, Ley said silently and stared at Can with wide eyes. “Really?”
“Why is everyone surprised?”, Can asked annoyed. “He’s really into me you know!”
“Oh, I don’t need to know that.”
“What? You asked.”
“I thought P’Pete and P’Tin are going to get together?”
“What? Why? No! Ai Pete and Ai Ae are together.”
“Who’s Ae?”
Can threw his hands up.
“Wait… why is he not driving you to the front of our house?”, she asked and put her hands on her hips. “Is he ashamed of you?” She frowned and seemed ready to punch Tin on Can’s behalf which was sweet but Can had to laugh at the thought.
“No… I just wanted to keep him a secret a bit longer.”
Ley nodded knowingly. “Yeah. If mum finds out he will have to come for families dinner every day of the week.”
Which was maybe not that bad. Tin deserved some insights in a family which wasn’t out to destroy each other. Maybe he could share Tin with his family once in a while. It would be fun to have him around.
“Okay… do you have pictures?”
Can stared at Ley and asked himself if he had heard right?
“Do I have what?”
“Pictures of you togehter?”
“Are you insane! That’s nothing you need to see. Why are you even asking me?”
“Oh please, you have at least some couples pictures, right? You should have.”
She made advances as if she wanted to steal his phone out of his pocket and he slapped her wrist.
“No!”
“Show them to me!”
“Get out!”
A loud snore was heard from their parent's bedroom and both froze. They listened with bated breath but didn’t hear more.
“Go to bed,” Can whispered and tried to shove her. “If you stay here mum or dad will wake up.”
Ley reluctantly stood up but punched him against the arm. “You have to show me pictures tomorrow.”
“No!”
“We’ll see,” she mouthed at him, turned around and sneaked out of his room.
Can fell back on the bed, took the pillow and muffled a huge sigh with it. This has gone better as he had thought. He took out his phone to write Tin.
