mcat registration is only open for certain months (4 days out of the months?) so plan the registration times! you can see them on the AAMC website. i’m from CA but i had to travel out of state to take the exam 😭😭

i definitely agree you should take the mcat after you finish your physic/ chem series! there’s also ochem, biochem, bio, psych, and soc in the test

since i’m applying this upcoming cycle, i took it in january. depending on my score, i’ll retake in april/ may. taking it in may will mean i send in my scores blindly.

they open up registration from january - june/ july-september. if you want more chances to take the test, you can definitely start earlier! there’s a 3 limit cap per year, and a 7 limit cap in general

anki is good for content review but you have to understand the concepts pretty well before using it. otherwise you’re just guessing and not learning as efficiently (at least for me)

just finished reading the new writing and med student or should I say Lorelai is a lot more unstable than I thought at the end lmao I love girlie lots tho! I also find it funny how you kept some of my writing in there and ended up making her darling a tired med student too 😭

poor Lorelai is a big little bit of a creep all because she wants validation from her crush who just doesn’t care for her still in the end. I also find it interesting with how with her the roles are a bit switched up. As usually the yandere would be somewhat a bit more dominate at times while Lorelai is a girl failure as she becomes the slightest bit unstable when she feels/knows her delusion is unraveling. Also if she doesn’t get validation from the person she’s crushing on💀

anyways my girl Lorelai is a bit different from the others but we love her 💗

I'm back, biochem anon 🤣. I read your new fic only if for a night and all I can say that Lexa being a pain in the ass, it's called sexual frustration along with mixed feelings of moving on from her loss. Also a one night stand and finding out that person is your boss the next morning brought back memories of Meredith and Derek from grey's anatomy 😭🤧

Also you studied accounting before moving to medicine(?). I need to know more about this 🧐.

PS: Now, I'm thinking about reading heart upon the southern ground, just trying to decide if reading before doing my homework or after 🤔

lexa tells herself she’s very good at compartmentalizing but apparently not. and honestly? very silly of her to not realize how into clarke she is when half their meetings are spent staring at her, um, clothes. and yes!!!! meredith and derek, who are living happily in their big house filled with kids, are definitely one of the inspirations for this mess. minus insanely hot ex-wife though.

and oh boy. yes, i did study accounting, no, i didn’t come out unscathed. i wanted to quit six months into it, but both my parents wanted their daughters to do something related to business. my sister got a business degree, i got my accounting degree (i should have gone into economy though). i never worked as an accountant one day in my life, don’t plan to, and doing my taxes makes me have nightmares. not a fun time. i used to study biology and history during summer and winter breaks because i absolutely Did Not Want to be there. but i’m free!!!! worst experience of my fucking life!!!!!! biochem professors skin me alive on the daily but at least this is what i chose!!!!

you should DEFINITELY do homework before reading anything. i have playlists to get you in the mood, if you’d like them, but homework first!!!
