#ok now that I’m reading takes about the Celine thing I kinda get it#I don’t think Taylor was malicious and I’m sure she was just flustered and excited and had tunnel vision#but I do also see the other side about not acknowledging Celine#and calling Lana a legend while another (actual) legend was right there overcoming enormous personal struggle to be there#and I can see how that seems like a dick move to others#(one of the few times I ever agree with anything Lainey says lol)#sucks that it happened#luckily the news cycle will move on#dont think Taylor is evil at all but it was just unfortunate timing and a misstep#do I personally care? no#frankly I thought using the awards to announce her new album would have been the bigger perceived misstep of the night#but apparently I am not chronically online enough
