#I have spent literal /years/ haunting the threads of the RPF discussion forums for advice whilst building past cosplays/props recreations#and I have finally. FINALLY. made my own account.#and it has been so long since I was last on a forum like this or in any sort of fandom-at-large spaces#that I am quite honestly rather nervous :')#I'm mostly just using it to gather info and see if I can touch base with any other people who have made the same#or a similar#cosplay to the one I'm about to start work on#but I can't decide if I really wanna post a lot about it here or there or make a sideblog or what#I haven't actually made a cosplay in so loooonggg dsfjkhskfjh I miss it#they're so much FUN once you really get into them#for me at least#is a few short months before I go to college when I should be working and saving as much money as I possibly can a great time to start#a project this extensive and involved???? probably not. but when have I ever done the realistic and advisable thing with my projects.
