also while I’m not the biggest fan of the 2.1 and 2.2 patches, I have a soft spot for patch 2.3
#I do like the tail end of patch 2.2#but patch 2.3………the ramuh stuff happen. the political conflicts starting in ul’dah#alphinaud lowkey blaming the refugees for the riots#it’s the whole of he knows there’s a deeper conflict going on but he’s still a prick about shit#his overinflated ego still needs a seat at the table#it’s so fun watching as the way alphinaud speaks changes#and I don’t mean voice acting I mean the written on screen dialogue#he goes from things like and you shall follow me to the brass blades as you are curious of this#to Estinien scolding him in HW for assuming the WoL would fight Ravana#to later on how much he expresses this deep concern for what they have to do#and being beside them as much as he can#anyway got sidetracked by the lad#but yeah. patch 2.3 is v fun#I hope patch 2.4 is also fun I cannot remember it for the life of me rn#it’s gonna be some crystal braves stuff I think#but gosh kiet in these patches like#he keeps his cards so close to his chest in ul’dah#bc he’s heard and watched his mother get into complicated spats involving money politics people#and it’s always messy. it’s always dramatic#oc: kiet gilda
