Damn I never shipped sidlink in botw but totk threw me right onto the ship despite Nintendo’s no homo attempt?? I like how they gave Sidon those abandonment issues. It’s he’s second time witnessing some big evil rising upon Hyrule. The first time he was a kid, couldn’t do anything, and forever lost his sister. Of course facing the big evil again would make Sidon scared about losing someone important to him, be it fiancée or simply childhood friend.
The only person Sidon wouldn’t worry about losing is probably Link, for in Sidon’s mind Link is the most skilled warrior he ever met. Then Link went to face Ganondorf alone at the castle and almost got hit in the face (twice) if Sidon and other sages didn’t arrive to help in time? I smell tasty angst potential right here😋

My mind has been stuck on Ilztaufein all day and the way that he loves Gale and it's driving me crazy that I don't have the words to describe the kind of obsessive, possessive way he begins to worship him before their romance even really starts.
The way he wants to climb past his teeth and live inside his ribcage. He wants to wrap himself around the heart of this ambitious mortal and become the rhythm that it beats to.
He wants to prostrate himself at Gale's altar. He wants to beg him for absolution and be denied.
He wants to rip and tear from the heavens themselves the fool of a goddess who would deny him divinity and sit upon her throne instead.
He wants Gale to be his god, if no one else's. And he'd gladly tear the realms asunder for the chance.
Humans only live so long, but Ilztaufein needs him to live forever. To persist. So he might worship his heavenly body for eternity.
He wants to corrupt Gale, and to be corrupted.
He wants

(praying these uploaded in the right order)
(mourning my lack of computer and animation software rn)
Akari disappears not long after Ingo does. Her friends look for her, of course, but fail to locate her. Irida is the one to approach Rei while he's in the Icelands one day, asking if he'd seen Akari recently. When he admits he hasn't her expression crumples and she tells him that Lady Sneasler had informed her something was wrong with Akari but Irida hadn't been able to locate the human-zoroark to find out what, and had been hoping she'd been in Jubilife Village since Ingo had vanished. Sneasler has no way to communicate what has happened to Akari besides what everyone already knows- that she's a Zoroark.
It's Cogita who finds Akari many weeks later, feral and enraged. Were the heavens still opened she'd have thought the girl was frenzied with her aggressive behavior. There are new injuries on her and she's absolutely filthy, but Cogita sees beyond the blanket protection of ferality. She sees the distraught and fear behind the blank Zoroark glare and she mourns for the girl she jokingly called her granddaughter. Rather than running she approaches, risking injury to touch the girl with softness despite her threat to lash out. Rather than attack Akari freezes and then slumps onto the woman, warbling out her father's name.
Cogita tries to provide comfort when someone catches her attention- Ingo himself, hauling at speed towards them. There's someone behind him but that person doesn't matter. Akari looks miserable, not having heard the destruction of snow behind her, and Cogita turns her to face Ingo. The Zoroark freezes in shock before running gleefully to her father, leaping upon him and burying her face in his neck, her form fluctuating between Zoroark and human in her glee. She freezes when footsteps approach them, tensing her grip on Ingo. He only smiles at the man- the man who shares his face. Akari should be happy but she's fearful instead.
What does this mean? Who is this man?
He greets her gently, and Akari thinks that if her father is smiling and happy to see him, not trying to remove her... maybe she can be happy is well.

knight of ren ♡
tldr for frankie’s knight of ren lore; born on an outer rim planet. an orphan at 8 due to. to her knowledge, her father was never in the picture and presumed dead, from some mid rim planet that was nestled close enough to a trade route to be relevant but far enough away that it wasn’t as busy. once her mother died of some horrible accident with fire, frankie worked on her grandparent’s farm as a hand. they probably had a small manufacturing plant or something. bought junk, turned it into durasteel or the like. very primitive. frankie spent lots of time sneaking off and getting in trouble and that's how the knights of ren found her. she proves herself worthy of joining by killing her grandparents and that serves as her qualification into the knights. she is a prior member when kylo takes over, just barely, and she sticks with him because she believes in his skills. this verse is super adaptable to whoever writes kylo or another knight!

I am seeing a lot of tags popping up about feral Radek and I just want to drop this fic rec here because if you love feral Radek then you HAVE to read it.
But twotales I don't ship Radek/Rodney I know, I know but trust me the focus is pm entirely on Radek and his badassery
Summary:
Zelenka is taken to be a Runner by the Wraith. Atlantis presumes him dead and McKay takes that harder than expected. Takes place between "Trio" and "Midway."

Fic inspiration
Ulla ducks her head and gives a humorless chuckle. “It was never the mother, was it?”
Her father regards her with a pained smile. “No, it wasn’t.”
———————————————————————
He loved Ulla, truly, grey skin and all, she was still his child. Her laughs and giggles would fill the air with a joyous melody. He knew Ulla showed more promise as a baby than most sildroher ever have during that age.
On dark days a small, ugly part of him thinks of taking her back to shore, finding her birth mother, and thrusting the baby in her hands without a word as she did him, never visiting again.
During the times when Ulla’s wails would bounce across the walls and make the flowers shrivel and rot. He didn’t have a problem with it, she had a strong voice after all, but when the others complained it was a different story. How they glared at the two of them or sneered at the baby for the tone of her cries.
The times when his wife would look at Ulla with an odd look, something akin to fear, repulsion, or pity. When that specific look would be on him instead. He remembers squashing down the hurt at the time she recoiled at Ulla reaching her little hands out to her or having just stood there as the baby cried.
He would never want to give Ulla away though, for he never regrets her in the first place.
———————————————————————
“You can hold her if you want.”
She’s broken out of some trance by his voice as he comes over to the crib. He chuckles a little at that, recalling the occasions when she would hold Ulla with a smile on her face, entertaining her with a song almost as if she forgets about the baby’s heritage. Though now it seems she remembers the other half.
“She won’t bite,” he says amusedly.
“I know that,” she mumbles, glancing at Ulla’s tail and his. He sighs and moves to pick Ulla up instead, scooping her up in his arms.
“You must think I’m a whore.” He tells her bluntly. Sometimes he sees her looking at him with what could be a trace of disgust. Remembers how uncomfortable she seemed when they were courting each other and she first met Ulla and he confided in her about Ulla’s true parentage. Still, she wanted to marry him and look after her like she was her own, despite it all.
“What,” she’s taken aback, “no, no I don’t think that's all, it’s just…” she trails off, gripping the edges of the crib tightly. It’s silent for a moment before his wife speaks again.
“I wish she had been mine.” She whispers.
———————————————————————
He still thinks about her at times, the shadow summoner, either with anger or nostalgia. Looking back to when she made him sing symphonies during their lovemaking.
Sometimes he wonders if he ever would’ve met Ulla had she not been born with a tail. Or would she have taken her away wherever she went and he would still be waiting for the bell to ring?
———————————————————————
Brave little Ulla. Coming home on the bad days when there’s too much teasing with tears in her eyes, yet still acting strong and holding her head high.
