hi anon!!!!! tbh I can't say for sure because I haven't been around from the beginning and also I'm not that deep into those spaces where these kinds of conflicts usually happen, so I'm probably gonna tag a couple of older mutuals who might be able to answer ur question more accurately, but I will say my own two cents.

from what i've gathered since ulting mx I can tell you that there is definitely some conflict and tension going on between the korean side and the intl side but in comparison to some other fandoms i've seen i'd say it's a bit milder. i feel like the two sides mostly ignore each other unless there is major thing going on. like for example i think (again, i wasn't there and im just relaying what ive heard over the years) during the whole wonho situation in 2019 was one of the times kmbb and intl clashed bc from what ive heard, the majority of the stans who wanted wonho out were korean while most intl stans were supporting wonho and wanted him to stay/get back in mx. also everytime monsta x has overseas schedules there are a group of kmbb who really whine and complain about not breathing the same air as mx for two days (at one point some members addressed it and kinda scolded them for their behaviour during their world tour).

hi! heard ur taking clip suggestions for the hermit base tour stream and this isnt really a joel one but just askkng if u can clip when all the hermits were singing happy birthday to pearl? it starts at 48:17 on xisuma's stream (the one uploaded to yt) and 58:52 on gem's stream on twitch (if u cant or dont want to its fine!!! just thought it was a really nice (and frankly, chaotic) clip) and theres also a uh collective...hermit fish slapping...if u wish to call it that...like a min after

also the tiny bantering fighting match right at the beginning of gem's stream between gem and joel was fun too! (around 10:30 on gem's stream on twitch) theres also many instances of the fighting scattered all through stream and i can maybe list like half of their timestamps if u want me to! <3

They are so adorable and we get characters admitting their feelings that never happened in the series, hehe.

I translated this segment and added quick english subtitles so I hope you enjoy this bit from LFLS fanmeeting! This was fun. And I loved how all of them used their own lines from their character's script but they mixed them up to suit this situation :D

Look I'm not a business person. I don't know shit about what the BTS looks like at watcher. But if I was them, this is what I'd do:

-keep the lower production shows on YouTube. Stuff where it's just them on a set, like mystery files, puppet history, too many spirits, etc

-higher production stuff, involving travel and renting out places, put that behind the paywall. It's crazy that WWW was uploaded for free I don't wanna think about how much they lost off that. Yes this does also mean ghost files would be behind a paywall sorry

-I actually do like the idea of pilots being uploaded on to yt and then of you wanna watch the whole show get the subscription. That's what dropout does

-bts stuff also goes behind a paywall. At the end of videos, put a little thing like "hey want extra scenes? Sub to watcher TV"

-branch out and find more talent. I love the three guys, but to justify the fees they're gonna have to diversify their portfolio. In a way that makes sense of course.

-start advertising their shows like dropout does. Do you know how many d20 and game changer ads I get on tiktok? So many. If this is a business you're going to have to start treating it like one.

I love watcher. I've been following the ghoul boys since unsolved. I genuinely want the best for them and want them to keep making content. But I think they're making a mistake, especially with how many of us are poor college students. I know they need to fund their productions and I hope they find a way to do that that doesn't screw over their audience.
