I use it mostly to reblog cool nonsims stuff but I figured I’d put it to good use and write a reply here so I don’t get paranoid about talking too much and having the rest of simblr complaining lol. I know it’s just my paranoia, but still! at least you get a full reply like you’d get if we were in person.

Starting from your question, no, Miku is not my favorite because I don’t have a favorite 🤔 Gumi used to be my fave! I was so disappointed when I saw she wasn’t included in Project Mirai Deluxe, like bruh. She has some of the coolest songs and you don’t include her?? I know it’s because she isn’t Yamaha’s (that was the reason, right? It’s been a few years), but I wanted to sing with her cute green haired voice 😭 I wanted to get her same haircut when I was a teen! My hair looks like Rin’s, except that it’s a light hazel brown, so it would have been easy to grow out the front bangs.

I can understand why Miku is the favorite of many, I mean, with her being a Holy Virtual Diva Yamaha gave her a ton of voicebanks so it’s the easiest to tune and probably the one who sounds better in the ears of those who are first-time listeners, you know. But all the Vocaloids have so much to offer! Leaving my crush on Gakupo aside, Lumi has a wonderful, dreamy, harmonious voice, even though I don’t listen to a lot of her songs because I’m more into upbeat music, while I’ve only heard her being used in slow paced, calming songs (with this exception). I love Otomachi Una, Meika Hime & Mikoto (this song made me love them even more), VY1V4, and ahh gosh I could list them all if I kept on scrolling through my YT likes. I ALMOST FORGOT KASANE TETO OMG I LOVE HER SO MUCH. I wanna make her drill pigtails in sims 2.

Lately I’ve been obessesed with Someone New by Vocacircus, so yes, I listen to the Chinese ones too! I usually prefer songs with English lyrics because I love the emotional connection that the lyrics give me (so I need to understand them lol), so I listen to many different utaite as well (do we still use that word? but yeah, covers), both English (i.e. Will Stetson) and foreign (i.e. Glutamine) ❤❤❤❤ I love singing my heart out and I have considered opening a YT channel to share my covers lol. I’m rusty now though, I used to sing in the car but with the pandemic I’m always at home and I never sing because I’m never alone 😭 I’m still grateful to Vocaloid because my voice is more contralto-ish (I’ve been told), but after practicing their high-pitched voice I learnt to extend my vocal range up to soprano ✨
