Also the fact roses in general are associated with love (of many forms, usually romantic), whilst black roses are associated with death, and sunflowers are associated with the sun and life. MCL New Gen Ep 3 Review

I finally finished the episode! I'll give a more generic opinion about it here and put all the spoilers below the cut!

I think it was really nice, I didn't check how many APs I used but I saw someone else mention that it's around 1200 APs which I think is fair! I was scared about it at first because I'm not sure if I'm the only one who noticed that, ususally, the first episodes are either shorted/cheaper and that new episodes that come out are much more expensive... I hope that won't happen!

The outfits are pretty cute, also I noticed that if you want to, you can unlock the other outfit you missed for 150 hearts! It's just to unlock it in the shop without having to replay the episode, you still have to purchase each piece separately but I think it's alright since the prices are really cheap!!

I don't really know what else to add and still be spoiler free, so now it's time for spoilers! you've been warned!

I'm so so happy with how they get Candy to react everytime... I love that she changes expressions accordingly and it's much more fun!! Also I think I screenshotted(?) almost all of Jason's scenes,, I'm sorry I'm just so down bad I kept giggling everytime he said anything,, I think that's why it took me a while to finish the episode lol...

Q1.) I'm very curious about Death Wings. Do all of them exist in a similar state to Robo-Ren, where their true bodies are asleep and they pilot a mechanical suit, or is there something that differentiates them?

Ren is an exception. He's the only one who pilots a separate body. The others are in their own!

Q2.) Which Rejuv characters would be most likely to start a podcast together?

Adam and Valarie probably have a lot of deep 3 am conversations so with a little help from Saki, those two would def make a podcast. Other highlights are Saki+Erick and maybe Texen by himself because he just talks about how women are objects or something i dunno.

Q3.) Are you absolutely sure this is a good idea? Are you being held hostage?

I deadass thought i was gonna get 10-20 questions at most..... So yeah its a good idea.

Q4.) So, half servants. They’ve been so confusing to me. Until 13.5 I was just under the assumption servants were just infertile lol. So, do half servants like…. Inherit any powers or anything from their servant parent? Like, the ability to teleport and things like that.

Servants cannot reproduce when they're first created/in their generic form, but when they transform into their own person they gain a soul and they are then able to reproduce because they're just like any other person. It's just that their origins are different. Servants can still use their magic, but their children cannot. Although, I bet their children -do- inherit some traits from their Servant parent. Probably like just having above average strength/speed etc. That's not universal, though.

Q5.) How come Tesla doesn't let Amber bring us to the villa after the gym battle now?

Well... When two people love each other very much...

Q6.) Do the executives of Team Xen and most importantly Ren have the green gem somewhere on their body that marks them as members of Team Xen?

I don't want to answer this either because we will probably have an opportunity to fight -most- of these people here, but for Rune it's already established to be Rapidash (Ace), and Eden would probably have a Blissey somewhere.

Q13.) How close of friends are Amber and Crawli? I wanted to ask since they're both Gym Leaders of Terajuma and around the same age, especially when Tesla and Amber moved to Telia after the incident.

They're not too close. They know of each other, and have spoken, but it's mostly a "friendly landlord" kind of relationship. They only talk when it's necessary... Not that Crawli is a landlord, or has any bearing on Teila.

Q14.) Hihi, what are somethings that have changed from version v12 (and also v13) that you really like/are proud of? And are there things you miss from previous versions, but you had to get rid of for any reasons? (I'm personally absolutely in love with the redone Terajuma stuff and especially Crawli, and also the redone Ryland scenes but that's because I'm biased.)

Terajuma 100%. I LOVE Terajuma now. I used to really despise it, evidently. But I think it's so fun and has a lot of nice moments. Valor Mountain still sucks, though. I have a huge urge to simplify that place, but then i'd have to redo a certain scene later and i dont wanna bc it's already perfect. Suffering from success... As for things I miss from previous versions... I can't think of any right now because I love where we're at rn so I guess I don't miss anything? There are certain scenes like Melia with her long hair flowing, but outside of small instances like that, nah!

Q15.) If in the nightmare school "Jean" was able to manifest flora's explosives from the dreams of GDC's citizens... Where could he have manifested A Gun from??

Q16.) What's your personal favorite part of the game thus far?

Honestly Chapter 2 -> to the end of Terajuma is so much fun to me. Not that the other chapters aren't, but that part is comfy. I also love Renegade Route chapter 0.

Q17.) Now if I'm remembering correctly, you mentioned that Venam was supposed to be just a side character at first. What made you decide to change her role into such a major one? Also how did the Melia/Venam come about?

Yeah so, Beth was actually in Venam's spot if you can believe that. Yes, the same one that sells Moo-Moo Milk. We already had a prominent blonde character and Beth wasn't boring or anything, she just didn't add a fun dynamic with Melia. Although back then the formula was more rebornified. Meaning characters rarely traveled together and they kind of just showed up when they needed to. Now characters are constantly always traveling with you and stuff. Not that the old format is bad, it's just a different take. I brought Venam back because she's Melia's best friend and it felt real weird that she was not involved -at all- compared to her and Ren. Their relationship came about because.. Well, I kinda just knew. Venam was always a lesbian in my head, and Melia is def the character that would love anyone if they gave her the chance to love them. It just felt right?

Q18.) 1) When was Eizen conceptualized? 2) What is one funny story about developing v13.5 that you can share? 3) Were there any pieces of media you took inspiration from while writing Renegade(mainly Central Tower)? 4) Do you have any plans of making more games after Rejuv?

Yall are cheating with the multiple parts!! Anyway, Eizen was conceptualized sometime in v13's development, but he... she.. they... were just a concept at the point. (stick a pin in that) 2.) A funny story? Hm... I honestly can't remember anything rn. Probably just some bug that caused us pain and it was super simple to fix. 3.) To be honest, I didn't take any real inspiration for Renegade. I actually went into doing that route without knowing exactly what I wanted from it. But the pieces sorta fell into place and im in love with it lol. M2 was always going to be a character in the game, it's just that she was never named M2 and was more tragic than unhinged. M2's personality was altered slightly because I wanted Renegade to have SOME sort of a balance, and a partner in crime (sorta) felt appropo. 4.) Yes, I have original games in the works AND plans for at LEAST 1 more fangame after this. I'd like to start from scratch with all the knowledge I have now. Though, it wouldnt be nowhere near as long as Rejuv. I'm talking like 4-5 releases. lol.

Q19.) Wanted to ask how renegade!MC perceives Clear/Kieran, the 3 choices we have to respond to Clear asking us to go see Clear all seemed cold towards her. I guess they aren't a potential new friend group?

They are a means to an end. The MC is not close with Clear or Kieran at all. They barely even talk outside of the instances we've already seen. Maybe that'll change?

Q20.) This has been a matter of contention between some friends of mine and I. How old is Odessa? I'd assumed she was below 18 as she's not taken the throne so she might not be an adult and her dad's in charge until that happens, but they think she's an adult. For something less serious, who in Rejuv's most likely to start a ponzi scheme, and who's most likely to buy in.

Odessa is likely to be around 25-ish. She's a legal adult, and is in line to be Queen of Kristiline, but their family line already holds so little influence and power that Aquis just makes her a figurehead and manages things on his own. Kind of a Cinderella of situation? More similar but not 1:1. To be honest? I figure Aquis hopes Kailani to return one day and assume her duties because he likes her more (Even if he abused her the same way he did Odessa.) As for the ponzi scheme... I feel like Thomas Jr would make one and Texen would fall for it.

Q21.) Who is the hardest character to write consistently?

Honestly? Melia. She's given me the most trouble despite her being so prominent. Im good at it now I think, but before I never knew how to write her because anything I did came with criticism lol, and still does, but now I don't really give a shit. Amber's a close second.

Q22.) When Crescent fell down the cliff, did she get the interceptor contract then was asked to become a storm chaser? The events seemed to have happened close to each other. Curious since the hags serve Variya, so only 1 of the 2 parties could've asked her both, but that wasn't the case.

Yes it was shortly after she fell. To be clear, the sparkle the protags saw was the sparkling of water from the moonlight above. So they knew it was "safe" to push Crescent. She could have died but she had a chance to survive a situation where the alternative meant certain death.

Q23.) Will the Elite 8 even be able to be battled on Renegade? I imagine Karrina would replace Karen if Karen dies on Paragon, and Karrina doesn’t get pushed, but she eats the Deletos on Renegade if you don’t push her in Castle Zygara, and it made me wonder.

The members of the Elite 8 may be battleable, but not in an official league format. That's all I'll say on that.

Q24.) I'm still really curious about emma, things that come up in my mind a lot is the part where she looks to be used by variya to speak to melia during the part where amanda knocks her out, and during pearl route when we see the note signed by someone with the same name- emma. because of this, I've been pretty curious about this disguise thing the space hags gave melia. did they- or variya gave them orders to- pull the appearance from the deceased emma? does this mean ... they're the same person?

The name part is merely a coincidence and acts as foreshadowing. Melia reads the note and is like "Emma...?" and wonders if she would share the same fate as the ones written on the notes, and then lo and behold she has the same condition.

Q25.) This question is regarding Renegade route: Do the 6 years that M2 and our chosen host were lost in that alternate world match up with a version release that is outdated, or is an in-universe timer that we shouldn't overthink that much?

Honestly, that wasnt the reason for 6 years but now I wish it was that's rad as hell. But no the 6 years isn't even 6 years. It's an unspecified amount of time that passes that she perceives as 6. They both couldve been down there for a million years and they wouldnt know. The area they're in is similar to the chasm where it wears down your mind after long exposure. Maybe that's how Melia could take such a bad turn in life. The protags are always optimistic to escape though so they are able to hold onto their mind.

Q26.) #1 spector fan here asking questions about him since he probably won't get much spotlight outside of one quest... what was his life like before taking on the reserve leader role (other than what we already know, like where he lived,) and what are his interests outside of the paranormal, if any? thanks for the opportunity! love this game a lot :^)

Spector is a history buff and loves to do Goth Gf things like take strolls in graveyards at 3 am 🥰🥰. Probably spent most of his time in the District of Hope. He also likes exploring ruins and abandoned buildings. Not limited to Aevium tbh.

Q27.) I know Eizen seems to be a strictly side quest character, but have K/C or the hags ever tried contacting him for recruitment? His research seems too valuable to go unused for them.

Eizen has absolutely no interest in either of those groups. If they even tried to do anything he'd noclip out of the room and fall out of bounds and then die half life 1 style.

Probably either Cera, tbh. She's a short lil one. I don't have canon heights for characters outside like an estimation. But in my head Cera tiny.

Q32.) Hello! I would like to ask, Did the interceptor, before the SS Oceana be attacked, have fake memories of a life alongside Nancy? Since Crescent wanted the MC to have a normal life, I always wondered If she created new memories to make this easier And if I can ask another question. What is/was the criteria to someone see the MC appearance correctly? Huey and Lavender saw two different ones, while Aelita saw the correct one(in my case she saw Alain when asked)

Crescent did not create memories for the player. They just started acting weirdly and stopped talking to her. They then started to behave the same way you, the player, does. Believing that what is happening is real and has always been real (Because this is all the information you have right now), so Crescent takes this opportunity to try and let go by giving you a better (but fake!) life. It's why she sorta distances herself a bit (but not too much) so that you could integrate yourself into that delusion. We love being neuro <3.

The criteria is pretty ambiguous intentionally, but for me it has to do with personality and connection. Aelita always sees who you truly are because shes so close with the player + she has envoy shenanigans going on. If you would get along with Alain the most, the player would show themselves as alain etc.

Q33.) Any disclosable reasons why the rift dex now only has 2 remaining entries instead of 3 like in v13?

It's probably just a discrepancy that happened due to shifting over code bases. The number of slots left is not indicative of anything.

Q34.) hello jan!! hope you’re doing well :D is there any more information or random various facts about the androids (clear/kieran/eden) that can be said that ISN’T spoilers? it’s ok if not! i’ve just been curious about them all lately, especially in regards to how eden’s powers with emotional manipulation work.

Nothing too interesting about Clear or Kieran that isn't spoilers and isnt known already, but as for Eden... Eden was eccentric and had a personality thats real close to prince peasley from superstar saga LOL. I feel like Eden would have a catch phrase like "Mon Cherie", and flip their iridiscent hair in mockery. Eden's manipulation was very devastating. You would feel an immeasurable amount of joy when inflicted that you would give over any information because youre... happy to! But it was also very deadly. If exposed to it for too long you become way too happy to the point where you lose the ability to function normally. You'd fall into a happy-apathetic state and collapse and just lay where you fell until you starved or died in some other way. Because you're happy to! Everything in moderation, guys.

Q35.) Hi jan!!! quick question — why do you hate me why did the renegade route do that /real/ question though…. My buddy found some like… older stuff about Eizen in v13’s files. Something about a girl named Ærika?? (Idk if thats even connected but whatever) How did Eizen come to be? What was the process?

Hi remember the pin I stuck earlier? Ok we're unpinning that now. So, Eizen was originally a woman (So happy for his transition), And her name was Ærika. But we already had so many girls in the game and I wanted to create more male characters so then Eizen was born. I'm glad for it too because Eizen is way more interesting than Ærika. Eizen/Ærika came to be when [redacted]. I can't explain his origins quite yet, sorry! But one day you Will Realize.

Q36.) Hi Jan, thanks for the amazing game! In Alamissa, before we get yeeted into the past by Kieran, when Ren gives us sylveon and, um, Nancy’s remains, he mentions that he has stayed (even after breaking off with crescent) with xen for an important reason… but won’t specify. Later, he says the reason is because he wants to help nastasia. But the alamissa convo happened before ren met Anastasia (baby version). Did ren want to help nastasia before he met her past version and learned that she was…

Ren didn't know who she was at that point, but Ren has seen Nastasia in vulnerable points (that we havent seen... yet?). She has discussed with him that shes looking for someone prior to Alamissa, but she was very vague about it, and still is, but she's opened up a lot to Ren over time.

Q37.) This is probably a weirder question but will all of the main leaders, even the ones we battle outside of their gym duties have custom moves? If not, would it be safe to assume the main leaders use the moves of their reserves?

All leaders have custom moves. Reserves use the move the main leader does! They have TM's for these, but they aren't allowed to give them out to winners. At least, at the moment!

Making Renegade Route lmfao. It was so much funnnnnnn. I cant wait for the rest.

You're getting scrubbed. It looks painful, but it's painless... and seamless! You literally cannot process what is going on. As for most surprising, I was surprised people loved M2 so much. I mean, I had a feeling people would like her, but she really took off and that makes me happy bc shes so fun to write.

An extra question im throwing in here because ive seen a lot of talk around this character.

Q1X.) What inspired M2? M2 was conceptualized to be more of a tragic character, but I felt like Renegade needed some balancing out mood wise, or else it was too much of a drag. M2 was inspired by an insecurity of mine, actually, or I guess less so an insecurity and more of a question a lot of us ask ourselves. What if? What if I did this differently? What if I was born elsewhere? How different would I be? When Covid first started running about and I thought the fate of our lives was about to be cut short potentially, I started thinking about how I lived my life and how much I missed out on certain things. M2 is that. She gets a second chance at life and decides she wants to be everything but Melia because she's already lived that life and it turned out poorly. Hence the name M2. The second version of herself.

Now that I have a second chance at life, "I'll be anyone, anything, any shape." I mentioned before that your archetype powers manifests as your deep inner desire, and since M2 wants to be everything she couldn't be, it turns into her creating alternative selves through clones made of light. Another point of inspiration for her forms is actually Barbie of all things. Not the movie, although the movie takes advantage of the same principle, that Barbie can be anything. A doctor, a lawyer, life guard, a government official etc. M2 is everything always and forever, and she's also nothing at all. Which one is the real M2?

so gem is on her last life which means she gets secret tasks she has to do that usually has to do with hurting people and pme of her tasks is to make someone take more than one heart of fall damaga and guess who she does that to? pearl. and she gets rewards after handing in her completed task and she gets a camel egg from it and guess what she does with it? immediately gives it to pearl. then she gets another task where she has to hit someone until they use their shield or until they die and who does she hit immediately? pearl. and then gem says "she just needs to use her shield im gonna end up killing her" and "i dont want to make enemies with pearllll :(" like. yeah okay. okayyyy. (also pearl was on her 2nd life which means she cant actually like be hostile and kill people yet so)

and then gem sees her and pearl says "you dont have to do this gem you dont have to do this" and gem says "i dont. you can stop this pearl you can stop this i dont want to kill you" and even while chasing her around she keeps saying she doesnt want to kill pearl and still tries to seek her out and then gem keeps trying to give her hints on what she has to do to stop gem and yet pearl doesnt pick up on it and pearl says "you're hurting my feelings gem you gave me a camel and now you're trying to kill me" and gem keeps repeating that she doesnt want to and eventually gem kills her

and then after gem hands her task in she can finally tell pearl about it. cue some banter-y teasing and arguing and gem also immediately apologises

pearl since she is on her last life now changes to her red scarlet pearl skin (and scarlet pearl is well known for being unhinged due to another life series before) and gem immediately oohs and ahhs like a bestie seeing their friend in a pretty dress

and then. they just. hop on a camel. and ally up. even though they are in completely different alliances and gem has caused pearl to die like twice now. and they immediately go into a murder spree and pearl just murders 2 people within like 3 minutes. and they run around chasing people on the camel and pearl goes slightly too bloodthirsty and gem says "pearl you're scaring me" and pearl immediately just stops. okay yuri OKAY DOOMED MURDER YURI

Like, she’s standing around with everyone, everything’s ok. Then, the explosion. It’s one thing, but why does Gem feel so different now? What happened? Why does it feel like there’s someone else in her head? Then, Joel comes along saying Lizzie’s dead. Everyone’s celebrating. Gem goes along with it, not one to be left out. It was with no small amount of trepidation that Gem stepped over the dashed white line that marked the entrance to Olive Point.

This mission had been stalled for over a month by multiple complications, including but not limited to the introduction of a new department head in her agency, but today was the day that she was finally permitted to return to it. It had taken a good amount of paperwork; her new boss had spent a good week rereading all of her work so far and then asking question after question about what she had discovered so far, and then she had to re-sign all of her forms and documents for some clerical reason that her boss hadn’t really bothered to explain.

“Paperwork, you know how it is,” her boss had said, waving her complaints away.

Gem had narrowed her eyes in response. “I do, which is why I’m so confused. I’ve already confirmed I understand my legal limitations and turned that form in. Why do they need it again?”

“If I knew, I’d be in administration, not espionage, wouldn’t I?”

And then she’d received another three forms for her efforts - all of which she was certain she’d signed just days ago - and realised that her boss might just be messing with her at this point.

After that, she’d stopped complaining so much, and the paperwork had dramatically decreased. Gem could pick up a hint.

Finally, she’d been allowed to return to the field, this time attending the same party that her target was attending in hopes of finding some sensitive information. It had been a good month since she had even seen her target. Her stomach was doing flips at the thought of sharing a room with her target at all.

Gem managed to keep a calm composition all the way through the process of entering the club and locating her target, but then -

She had changed.

Last time Gem had seen her target, her hair had been longer and straighter, falling flat around her shoulders like a curtain of silk. And she’d only really seen her in the professional wear she wore on the train and in her workplace, which was where Gem had been situated during her observations last time.

Now, however, her hair was cut and curled so that it hung just above her shoulders, shimmering in the flashing lights of the party as if it was set with stars. Her dress was short and bouncy and pretty and cute. Oh goodness - Gem’s target was cute.

Maybe she should have expected to be surprised to see her wearing anything but sharp navy suits and pressed shirts. Maybe she should have known better than to think her target was just a distant figure, moving about her unchanging life with no care for anything outside of it. Maybe she should have seen the butterflies in her stomach coming.

But when her target looked over at her across the room and gave her a small, friendly smile, she was caught entirely off guard all the same.

Well, fabulous.

Gem was doomed.

Gem hadn’t come to the party alone, of course. It would be just suspicious enough to be memorable, and so she had asked her colleague and closest friend Cleo to accompany her for the night. Cleo was better at parties, too - she fit in better with the noise and brashness of the guests, without the more delicate manner Gem usually preferred to wear in her civilian identities - and had even lent her one of her dresses for tonight.

Still, Cleo had left her side after only a few minutes, apparently finding some interest in the bar, leaving Gem to navigate the odd social event that was a late party on her own. It wasn’t that much of an issue, or she would have called Cleo back and suffered the grumbling she’d get in return, but it still did make focusing on her mission a little harder - especially with her newfound distraction.

Her target, however, had apparently noticed her loneliness. She approached Gem a good half an hour after Cleo had vanished, a pair of drinks in her hands and a grin on her face.

“Hello!” she greeted, and Gem almost jumped out of her skin at hearing her voice in person rather than over a transmitted signal from a bug. “I saw your friend ditched you and thought you might want a conversation partner.”

“Oh,” said Gem. She was meant to say more, but the smell of her target’s perfume wiped the words from her brain.

“Would you like one?” Her target offered out one of the glasses. “It’s pineapple flavoured, apparently.”

Gem took the glass and tried to inspect it discreetly. “You haven’t tried it?”

“Don’t tell my friends, but I’m a bit scared to try it myself,” her target said, leaning a little closer and dropping her voice as much as she could over the loud music. “At least if it’s bad, someone else will get to experience the same badness, y’know?”

“That does make sense,” Gem agreed. She swirled the glass a little, before deciding that it looked safe enough. “I’d be honoured to give it a go with you.”

“Perfect!” her target beamed, and then downed the whole glass in one. Unsure if she was meant to do the same in this specific circumstance, Gem followed suit.

“Oh shit,” she said suddenly, “that’s stronger than I expected.”

Her target glanced at her expression and burst into laughter, eyes crinkling up at the edges and cheeks flushing the longer she laughed. “You look horrified! Why did you have it all in one go?”

“You did the same thing!”

“Yes, but I can handle it! And no offence, but you don’t really seem like… well, do you feel okay?” her target asked, voice dipping into concern.

“I’m fine, I’m fine,” Gem said. “Really, I am.”

Her target gets her some water and takes her to another room to sit down anyway, still stifling a few giggles behind her palm as Gem blinks confusedly at the new, quieter environment and the steel table in front of her. Eventually, her target seemed satisfied, settling down on another chair with her chin in her palms and elbows on the table.

She talked at her for a few minutes as Gem sipped on her water, talking about how it was her friend’s birthday party and how her friends had decided to dance far too close to the speakers for her to join them and how her name was Lizzie, by the way, and it was very nice to meet her.

In return, Gem introduced herself as Meg - not her most creative name, sure, but these were more unusual circumstances than usual - and explained that Cleo was far more the party type than her, inventing some tale about how they had decided to drag Gem out of the house for once to see what the scene was like.

“It’s a shame she didn’t stick around to show you around a little more,” Lizzie said when she’d finished her brief story. “It really can be a fun time here.”

“I’m not sure I’m the dancing type, really,” Gem replied, chuckling a little.

Lizzie gasped and raised her head from her hands. “But you haven’t even tried it!”

“I don’t know, I really don’t think -”

Without warning, Lizzie stood up and stretched a hand out to her. “Meg. You are going to dance with me right now, or so help me, I will find your friend and tell them you’re being a total scaredy-cat.”

“Alright, alright! Just for one song,” Gem compromised, taking Lizzie’s hand and letting her pull her to her feet. “And if I don’t like it, I’m sitting back down.”

“Trust me,” Lizzie said, tugging her towards the centre of the room, “you’re going to have a great time.”

There weren’t that many people in this room, as it was a little too early for most people to want to sit down and listen to slower music, so Gem felt almost unshielded as she awkwardly followed Lizzie’s steps, stumbling a little as she did. She wondered if the others in the room could hear her heart beating loudly in her chest.

The truth was, she wasn’t nearly as much of a lightweight as Lizzie thought, nor was she as bad of a dancer as she was pretending. She didn’t have any excuse at all for her rapid heartbeat or the flush in her cheeks. Even a few songs later, after they’d tried a slower dance and a faster dance and something in the middle that they couldn’t quite figure any good way to dance to, it felt as though she was floating in a warm haze.

Even when Lizzie eventually bid her farewell to go home with her friends, she could feel her hands tingling from where their hands had been tightly knitted together for the last hour.

Cleo returned, finally, her back pocket a little less empty than it had been a few hours ago. The moment she saw Gem’s face, she sighed.

“Please don’t tell me you spoke to her,” Cleo said. “And please don’t tell me you’ve got a crush on her.”

“I don’t!” Gem replied, but her flustered tone gave away the lie in an instant. “I - listen, it’s nothing important. It’ll vanish by tomorrow - it’s just the alcohol, probably!”

“Uh huh. Well, I think I’m good for the night, so I’m headed home. Are you ready?”

Gem folded her arms over her chest. “Of course. I’ve been waiting for you. This really isn’t my kind of place.”

“If you say so,” said Cleo, grinning in that practised way that Gem knew was reserved for missions in the public. “I’ll order us a taxi, then.”

Fortunately, Cleo didn’t press her on her recently acquired feelings for the rest of the night, and Gem got all the way back to headquarters without having to think about them at all, getting back into uniform and sitting down at her desk to finish the night’s task.

It was only when she was actually writing up her report that she had to stop and scream into her hands for a moment, unable to believe that she’d let this happen.

Of all the people to fall for, did it have to be her target?

The St Pastry Order isn't thrown away like dirt and is a vital part of the Odyssey storyline (With the white masks and shit)

Pastry Cookie joins the Cookies of Darkness after learning the truth of their “gods” (The witches)  

All of the Beast Cookies have their own version of the Dark Side of the Moon to talk to their Soul Jams new holders (The most funny one being Eternal Sugar randomly falling asleep because shes the Beast of Sloth and Hollyberry having to wake her up to communicate with her)

The Beasts are much more relevant instead of being randomly thrown in during Beast Yeast and never being mentioned before that 

SEA FAIRY ISN'T A SIMP FOR THE MOON (she still likes her, but doesn't go as far as she did during A Mermaids Tale)

SEA FAIRY ALSO DOES HER GOSH DARN JOB AS A PART OF THE ELEMENTAL COOKIES-

The witches basically got FUCKED during the Salem Witch Trials, so uhh…yeah, they’re dead

Since the Beasts are treated as Eldric gods, they often get offerings at their prisons. This is based on a hc of mine. 

EVERYONE WHO GOT A FAKEOUT DEATH ACTUALLY DIES FOR REAL (Ex: The Christmas gnome guy and Frilled Jellyfish) (Only one exempt from this rule is Sherbert since technically he’s still dead)

Counter-support to encourage you to keep working on the Shiny Duo animatic! I have been awaiting that one ever since I saw the first preview and even in those sketches it looks fantastic. Your facial expressions are incredible and really capture their emotions, and I can't wait to see those scenes in full color! (Also I love it when people are just a bit creature and I enjoy seeing the poses you've made for Gem's deertaur body).

...this all being said I would never turn down a second animatic if you decided to work on that instead, especially given how excited you are to begin working on it.

OH AHHH I'll preface that I appreciate it either way!! I'm absolutely bathing in your guys' support regardless of whether you encourage the doomed yuri or ranchers or some secret third or whatever thing!! Just having a wee bit of fun, a humble little laugh, teehee. Time is fake and gay and I'll never have enough of it, but even as I try to prioritize things, I would churn out a hundred animatics if I could! It'll just be one after another dependant on my free time and ability, but again, regardless of where the encouragement lies, it does its job and I feel very loved. 🍷/ answering this one right now bc i LOOOOOOVE steven universe and i know i'm gonna have fun with this one.

who's the fastest: different kinds of "fast"

Richie has that ADHD speed. He multitasks like he's on three different strains of something. He's all over the place. Do you need him to set the table? Done! He also swept the floor, mopped it, took out the trash, and fed the dogs for you. Too bad the thinking part of his brain can't keep up...

Toni is the tallest. Of course he's the fastest. Even in his costume. That's probably why Vincent and Glenn hired him, so he can scurry around in costume, like a real rat. Which fits the Rat's character in this, as someone who is a devious trickster that's all over the place. Poor Toni was just born too early to ever play as Sonic the Hedgehog in a movie or something.

Komi's very fast learner. Overall, her brain is the fastest cause she's not human. She's extremely intelligent and observant, she can read someone almost instantly based on one conversation. There are so many things about humans and their cultures and minds that she doesn't understand fully, so she's always learning new things by simply being around others.

Vincent is really good at coming up with quick responses, because the thinking part of his brain is incredibly fast. Within seconds he can come up with convincing lies and stories right on the spot. Though whenever he's alone, he starts overthinking and coming up with bizarre plot to carry out later on. (nudge nudge)

Glenn is really fast with putting things together, and taking things apart. He can build ten whole LEGO sets all at the same time. He can take apart refrigerator and put it back together. Sometimes he likes to take apart the machines in his house/office whenever they're broken so he can understand how they work, and he can fix the problem.

UR MY FAVE CONTENT CREATOR SINCE THE YE OLDEN TGCFMDZS DAYS SO I WANTED TO AT LEAST TRY LOLLL its like my favourite novel of all time and ive been trying to force it upon everyone with little avail, which i dont understand WHYY cuz its SOO GOOOD like it definitely deserves to have the same level of popularity w international fans as MDZS and TGCF had, but for now it remains a hidden gem.......... it's an insanely long novel i will nawt lie (1.5k+ chapters and updating everyday but only like 500smth have been tl'd into english on the fantl site Sky Demon Order[who also post semi-daily]) but its sosososo worth it i prommy..trust me..:smiles: it's a classic 'hero from the past who died a tragic and preventable(?) death reincarnates a hundred years into the future hiding his identity to teach the youth in order to keep the future generation from following in his footsteps and making the same mistakes he did' but without all the stale, predictable, boringness u'd typically expect from that specific genre... it's an incredibly comedic action novel that takes place in ancient china wuxia setting & focuses primarily on found family and those close familial bonds between the main cast behind all the sword fighty action (dont know how to fit this in anywhere else, but its important to me that u know the mc, chung myung, is the main casts grandpa.. hes their peepaw.. he shows affection by beating them on their heads). theres no romance at all, but i would argue that is a SELLING POINT for this novel like i swear it is so refreshing, the found family of it all means soo much to me, so much so i am now going to force it to mean so much to you too(this is a threat).... if u do gaf abt ships tho then maybe the doomed, tragic, best-friends-to-almost lovers tangchung yaoi and the love at first sight iseolsoso yuri might catch ur eye *LOOKS AT YOU* i genuinely really really feel like it would be straight up ur alley, like its definitely smth i feel would at least peak ur interest imo (chung myung, the mc, is probably my fave mc of all time..at eighty two years young, he IS the next peoples princess and i want to hit him with my car and then nurse him back to health just to hit him again.. i feel like u'd enjoy him like that as well).. im so desperate for more eng fans of this novel u cant see me rn but i am biting into a leather belt trying not to sob and cry out loud as im typing this this is so long im so embarrawsed so ill leave u here.. i hope my pleas have touched ur heart in some way and if the novel chapter count is too intimidating, ROTBB also has a webcomic on webtoons by the same name (season two of the webcomic just started ^__^ ) and the art is so good and funny and its a good way to get into the novel without being overwhelmed by the chp count methinks BUT i would definitely consider reading the novel mandatory cuz the webcomic only fills u in on so much.... ok. i hope u managed to get thru this insane wall of text, my bad.. until we meet again...*salutes* *revs up my motorcycle and disappears behind a cloud of smoke but when the dust settles i am laying dead on the floor*

second of all this does sound really fun !!! i have found it on sky demon order and i'll give it a try... BUT i gotta be real over a thousand chapters and only two hundred of them translated AND no romance is unfortunately killing me... i just dont know if i have the stamina for that... im a horrible little fujo if its THAT long theres gotta be some kissing!!!!! sorry 😭😭

Sick BF: hmm, I wonder why Penelope asked me to go to the library? Maybe she wants to get a book about gaming? Hmm, who knows

(Sick Boyfriend enters the library, the library was very quiet)

Sick BF: Wow, who knew libraries are very quiet

Librarian: Hello sir, welcome to Parodies town library, how can I help you?

Sick BF: Oh I’m looking for a book to read, uh something about mystical things and gaming?

Librarian: Oh sure, you should check shelf 4-5 to look through

Sick BF: Ok thank you

(Sick Boyfriend went to shelf 4 and look through every section to look for a gaming book, but then a mysterious book caught his attention)

Sick BF: Huh? What’s this?

(Sick Boyfriend reached for it, the book had a sliver cover and the title was called: The Power Crystalology)

Sick BF: Huh, this is an interesting book, Maybe I should look through it

(Sick Boyfriend sat down at a study table, and open the book, the book had interesting facts about crystals)

Sick BF: Wow, who knew there are different types of diamonds and sapphires in this book, I should read this book more often, I should show it to Drugfriend

(Sick Boyfriend read through every chapter and when he was about close the book, he saw a chapter called the most powerful crystals in the whole world, he was curious about what was inside that chapter so he turned the page to that chapter)

Sick BF: Woah, so many crystals, they look so pretty, huh? Which one is this? The star crystals?

(Sick Boyfriend looked at the category, the star crystals, he seemed interested so he read it)

Sick BF:

Star crystals: The star crystals are the most powerful crystals in the whole universe, their only power source is from a legendary golden purity angel or a rebirthed human with a golden purity angel’s power, the Star crystals are only used to keep all of the multiverse and other universes including the original universe in good shape, but if the Star crystals was given to the wrong hands or it came in contact with the Chaos crystal heart, the whole universe including our world would be doomed. There are 10 Star crystals: Red fire ruby, Orange Crush Jasper, Yellow Wishing star, Green Breeze Jade Emerald, Sapphire Water, Lilac flower gem, black jade, White bright pearl, Pink love heart spinel and the ice phoenix diamond and finally, the main source, the legendary Rainbow prism.

The Rainbow prism can defeat any evil entity or take away that horror spirit’s power from them, these star crystals were hidden after the guardians were missing and the original star crystal keeper was killed so no body can find them and abuse its power for evil purposes.

Sick BF: (mind) Wait….So the original owner of the star crystals was dead and the star crystal guardians went missing, hmm then if the star crystals were hidden some place, what happened to the rainbow prism and the chaos crystal heart?

(Sick Boyfriend then remember when he visited the PurityVerse, he discovered visions from his former past self and about the Star crystal keeper)

Sick BF: *gasp* Wait…the crystal that I found when me and Drugfriend were at Snowlands to find the power star to defeat Lila Sky, I still have it in my pocket

(Sick Boyfriend pulled out what looked like a sapphire crystal and put it on the book, the crystal started to glow and so did his necklace)

Sick BF: (mind) H-Huh? My necklace, it’s glowing and so is the crystal?! But how?!

(Sick Boyfriend was speechless of what he just witnessed, suddenly the sapphire and his necklace stopped glowing)

Sick BF: Woah! This book and the necklace, I have to find out more about my necklace and the star crystals but who…

Sick BF: I need to ask Purity Monika and Dark Angel Yuri more about the star crystals and my necklace, I’m taking the book with me
