A long time ago, Sophie's village was cursed so that everyone was part cat, even the livestock! Sophie lives on a farm that was passed down to her by her mother who inherited it from her mother and so on.

For as long as Sophie can remember her family has been raising cowcats, as does she. The cowcats come in all kinds of funny colors and produce milk that matches their spots! Those who travel from outside the village say it's even sweeter than a normal cow's milk and even tastes a bit nutty. Though since the cows only produce milk after they've bore a calf, they don't get milk very often and they don't want to take too much away from the babies.

The farm has always relied on tourism exsclusively for income since many don't typically see cowcats anywhere else. They do have special milk tasting events every so often that are flooded with tourists dying to try their strange milk. It often runs out very quickly. Sophie has to be very vigilant over the farm to make sure that none attempt to steal her coveted livestock.
