#I really like the idea of an AU where Hunter isn't after revenge

If it hasn’t been mentioned before how did Sadie die in the canon timeline before getting timewarped and how was Jake found? I think they are super interesting considering how they weren’t even married for 3 years yet before the events of the first mission (they were married in September and the game starts in May) Also another random question but did any of the gang bond over the different instruments they played (ex Sadie-Harmonica, Pearson-Accordion, or Javier-Guitar) and speaking of Javier did he ever learn electric guitar? [Sorry if my bombarding you with questions is annoying or overwhelming I’m just very hyper fixated on Rdr2 and love this au <3 /lh/pos]
pls never apologise i love asks my inbox is officially empty again rip so to all pls feel free to send any more questions about timewarp or my general rdr2 addled brain.
Sadie makes me so sad esp in the epilogue she literally makes the comment i wanna die like she is such an incredible character but she is so defeated by losing her husband, and then finding the gang only to lose them as well. After Micah's death she didn't even have revenge to live for. Also being at John and Abigail's wedding? As beautiful as the day was and as happy as she was for them, being reminded of her own wedding, everything she lost, how much she loved her husband. I think that the passive suicidality/recklessness she was putting into bounty hunting would've caught up with her really quickly and she was shot and killed by some unknown outlaw she was trying to bring in no later than 1908.
Jake bless was very much not someone anyone thought to look for fortunately with living with Sadie in such an isolated area he's a proper survivalist and just lived camping on public land doing odd jobs like farm work where he could to earn some cash for basic necessities and was just rolling with it. He's very laid back go with the flow type guy who was not nearly as panicked about waking up in modern era as he should have been.
It's completely stupid how they ran into Jake Adler. The gang were in public talking too loud about 1899 and he casually walked up to them like oh hi were you guys also magically teleported 100 years into the future after dying??
Kieran was terrified of Jake and expected some sort of retribution for being an O'Driscoll like literally shuffling to hide behind other members of the gang terrified but they actually ended up being besties because Jake knows loads about gardening and homesteading and they got to bond over 'fuck Colm O'Driscoll' and just being gentle souls they vibe so well.
Gets a new cabin away from everything and starts rebuilding his homesteading life so everything is perfect for when Sadie comes back.
It's so obvious how Jake and Sadie's dynamic worked the second they met Jake Adler. He is the sweetest, most disgustingly soft man to ever exist. He has bi wife energy. If he had survived instead of Sadie, he would not have made it in the gang. He gets emotional over the idea of using pesticides to keep bugs off his tomatoes. He is malewife extraordinaire and cries at least once a week about missing his wife who he is nauseatingly in love with.
He went with them to get Sadie obviously and the gang were a little nervous how he would respond to bounty hunter more ghost than people living weapon that is the Sadie Adler they knew? Plus this is post Micah's death so they heard ALL about that as well. Sadie Adler is terrifying. How could such a delicate marshmallow man handle it?
It is immediately very obvious that that's just Sadie's personality. It is exaggerated but very much just how she's always been she could say the most threatening violent comment with the coldest scowl and Jake's just there like wow that's my wife isn't she amazing <3 <3 <3
He is not at all surprised she became a bounty hunter and murderer she was always capable of it he just asked her nicely not to kill people so she didn't but she was always that one thing away from becoming the woman we know and love. Also how quickly Sadie goes from cold scowl to smiling affectionately kissing her husband like he is her squishy soft rock.
Also Sadie is very much bisexual being in a relationship with a man does not erase that Jake has always known and is very supportive every night he gives thanks to the women who fumbled Sadie Adler so he could marry her. Gender roles are not welcome in their relationship hell gender as a concept doesn't belong in their relationship they both wear skirts on hot days and Jake wears lipstick more often than Sadie does. Sadie pegs.
She met him at the stables he was working at, picked him up like a stray cat and said we're married now. She proposed to him and he cried. Finding someone who complimented her in every way was a once in a million and she never moved on from that. He enjoys the domestic chores she loathes, never questions or raises an eyebrow at her wearing pants or wielding a gun. Both of them happy to move into the middle of no where because neither one of them wanted their dynamic being scrutinized like they are happy being in their own world regardless of era.
The gang are still in awe of how well they balance each other out. There was divine intervention in them being so perfectly made for each other let alone finding each other in canon era it's so much clearer how they seemed so lost and distraught being apart. Why Sadie was still mourning and talking about Jake in 1907 when she had lost him for longer than she'd known him at that point. Two people could not be more perfect for each other.
SECOND POINT
Sadie starts playing harmonica again now that she has her Jakey back. And Jake, who in a similar way stopped playing when he didn't have his Sadie his amore, gets another violin (this is a hc that I will die defending let him play fiddle while Sadie's on harmonica little homesteading country music losers). Charles also plays harmonica and it is very 'same hat!!' when they realize. Teach each other songs too.
Javier plays around with electric guitar but is an acoustic purist, but because Isaac plays electric guitar they have great little jam sessions together. Javier loves having someone who asks questions and wants to learn guitar like Isaac is pretty good by the time 1911 gang arrive but he is so happy to also have someone who likes guitar as much as he does and he can learn from. Rip Isaac's friends trying to keep up 'hey you up for crime this afternoon' 'no sorry i'm going to go play guitar with my stoner mexican uncle. his autistic boyfriend who is also a stoner is making soda bread!'
Uncle gets a banjo again and also a ukulele because he thinks they look goofy.
Also Sean plays jaw harp? Fun character fact. Lenny also forgets this fact and can be found walking around the house looking for whatever bug is making that weird buzzing noise and turns out Sean couldn't sleep and was just boinging along with his jaw harp.
Gang bonfire nights go wild on the jam sessions. Little southern orchestra with the banjo, two harmonicas, a fiddle, a jaw harp and guitars all going.

Ok but like, an AU where the hexsquad stays in the Boiling Isles and the Covenheads recover quickly, then go through the portal and into the human realm to escape the collector.
(For the sake of the AU to work, Eda was the one clever enough to remember her curse and she cut off her arm herself, then the Covenheads recovery was quicker and try to find a way to escape by going to higher ground. Terra and Adrian see the Portal and make a run for it and the others follow suit. Raine follows to say that they don't want to leave Eda and the others but Darius drags them with him to get to safety. Terra and Mason get greedy and knock the Hexsquad away from the portal. Luz and the others try to catch up but it's too late as the portal closes and ends.)
Think about it. It'll be played seriously as they try to find a way back. Of course, there'd also be some humor too about them being stuck in a different world.
Raine and Darius would share the single braincell trying to hold everyone together. Raine is the one who suggests that they lay low while trying to find a way back.
Then Raine gets the idea that they need to not only hide their ears, but also need to blend in with regular human clothes. (So naturally, they have to resort to stealing clothes ATLA style.)
They'll also have to do some small accommodations for Vitimir's legs, Hettie's horns (if they're horns it could be a headpiece we don't know) Terra's hair, Osran's extra hands, and Adrian has to just hide his tail with an illusion.
They also pass off Eberwolf as a type of feral wolf they keep as a pet.
They keep shelter at the portal house and Mason is the one to repair it up a bit to make it more livable. (Albeit, with Terra's floral but deadly touches as decoration/security)
Of course they don't get along, but they do their best to put it aside in order to find a way home and stop Belos. (Terra and the Covenheads that were previously loyal to Belos now just want to get some revenge for being manipulated the entire time.)
In terms of food, they resort to stealing food from markets via illusions and sneaking around since they have no idea how human currency works.
About the Rebus, Mason finds it while remodeling the interior one day, coincidentally around Halloween-time. (since it's Halloween they don't need to hide their ears and one tail, people will think it's a costume.)
They try to decipher the rebus but to no avail, so they have to resort to asking someone and of course they run into Masha and they help.
Darius notices the golden guard symbol again and Raine notices the statues of the Whittebane Brothers where one looks like Belos.
For a small break they decide to sit down and watch Masha's retelling of the "Brothers Whittebane". During the ride, Darius notices the bird that looks an awful lot like Hunter’s palisman.
It isn't until after that one by one they piece together that Belos came from the Human realm and was one of the brothers on the statue. (They don't know what happened to the other brother though.)
Then Darius notices something in the woods and goes after it. The others follow and see Belos possessed Darius and they fight him and manage to get him out of his body.
The try to fight him again to defeat him but it doesn't work. Darius is severely hurt so she stays back to heal him. (This time, while they're fighting Adrian manages to look inside Belos’s mind via a similar spell that doesn't need an amplifier.)
Belos manages to escape through the portal, and with Darius healed within time, they quickly go in through the portal.
I really liked this sudden idea I just had to share.
Also yes Darius is the equivalent to Hunter here because of his connection to the previous golden guard.
And Adrian is the equivalent to Gus in this scenario (in his own twisted way) because he has the magic to look into a person’s memories. (Then it'll come up as he pieces it together that Belos killed his brother and made him into a grimwalker.)
Then Darius has to face the fact that Hunter is a grimwalker as well as the previous Golden Guard.
What can I say except that I live for parallels?
I may do a part 2 of this for how the rest goes, who knows.

Okay, IssaNava idea: somewhat reverse AU (prepare, this will be a long one)
I don't mean this as a Luxuror!Issachar and Casualry!Navarre (though that would be interesting too). I mean it as like........ Hunter!Issachar and Demon!Navarre
After being denied of being a Samurai, Issachar goes into Naraku to prove he has what it takes to become one - and he gets chased around by demons he didn't even know existed. He tries to get out but, without a map, he gets lost and runs deeper into the dungeons. He even slips past Minotaur and Medusa and finds himself in Tokyo. He can't really get back to Naraku due to how many demons there are, so he tries to find shelter there - and finds other humans. They take care of him, treat his wounds and feed him, asking where he came from. Feeling bad for the people there, he decides to re-form his dreams - he won't become a Samurai. He will, instead, become a Hunter and protect the people of Tokyo.
On the other hand, Navarre gets his pride broken by Flynn and the others, escaping to the comfort of his room. This is where Lilith finds him, saying she can help him get revenge on the others for humiliating him (or at least making him feel like they did). She offers to give him power in exchange for distributing books around the Casualries. Navarre, not thinking clearly, accepts and turns into a demon.
I imagine just before Flynn and the others could get a chance to slay him, Navarre escapes down Naraku, finding himself in Tokyo too. Maybe after some hijinks, the now Hunter Issachar and demon Navarre meet (maybe because Issachar was tasked to kill a "pest demon who steals our food"). He sort of... sees himself in the demon. He could've easily become him, a puppet of Lilith, turning into a demon. Taking pity on the Luxuror, he decides not to kill him if he swears not to hurt anyone. Navarre agrees, and the two start bonding, Issachar bringing him food and Navarre helping him out on quests.
Bonus: Flynn getting worried about Issachar (after seeing how Casualries were turning into demons) but sees his name at the top of the Hunter Association leaderboards. He's confused - Issachar's supposed to be home, in Kiccigiorgi - but then he meets him. A now scarred-up Issachar, shining better than ever, buying some suspicious amount of junk food at the bar.
OOOHHHH!! This is a NEAT idea, Anon!! I actually really like Reverse AUs and this one's even better than one I'd normally expect. I love subversion tropes.
I'll add that Issachar must've been super duper lucky to be able to survive going through Naraku like that lmao, and even more so to even get past Medusa and the Minotaur especially. But he is a strong, fully capable young man and I'm sure he would've fared much better there than even Demon!Navarre. I really enjoy this AU and would of course love to hear more of your ideas!
So! If this was for the ask game I reblogged earlier, now's my turn to come up with a couple fun facts! I had a couple of my own ideas, if you don't mind.
Discovering demons in Naraku would've certainly come as quite a shock to Issachar, having believed them to be fairy tales as most other Casualries do. And maybe force him to rethink the Samurai's true duties. There's plenty of classic blood-thirsty demons in Naraku, but also the friendlier kind who may take pity on him, if not a curious interest over what a regular joe is doing here. Maybe by chance he saves a demon from another and forms a pact with them--I like to think either a Fairy or Jirae. Issachar cannot understand the demons without a Gauntlet or phone to converse, but is able to follow through gestures and expressions. This bonding helps him view some demons a little more favorably. He asks for help getting home, but the demon misinterprets to mean Tokyo as home (that's the demons' home after all). It isn't at all what Issachar actually wanted, but he's too dumbstruck by the shock of discovering a whole city to put up a fuss. Not to mentioned too tired and wounded by then. I don't know how he would even get past the Minotaur or Medusa though, realistically, and they run a tight ship. I think it would be more likely if he snuck past them after the Samurai had already cleared a path by then. I'm not sure; I think I would have to give that more thought.
Navarre would be a weak and cowardly demon lmao, being real here. He would end up more like the conniving kind who are more crafty than they are strong. Perhaps Lilith approached him with the intent of stoking more chaos among the Samurai and Luxuror class through him, but he became too fixated on his humiliation that his desire for revenge became far greater. Maybe instead of him becoming the one trapped in Alarune's domain, he is the one who tricks the Samurai into it. As for him making it out of Naraku well, I think he'd be dead if he tried to slip past the Minotaur or Medusa lmao. What happened is that the Samurai kept foiling his plans and, in a fit of growing rage, followed them to Tokyo as they cleared the path.
And let's face it, Navarre would do even more poorly in Tokyo than he did in Naraku. And it is probably through his cowardice how he comes to cling onto Issachar. Navarre is def not the strongest companion Issachar has, but he is encouraging and has a keen eye for detail that can often times prove more valuable in combat than brute strength. Issachar in turn not only protects him but also keeps Navarre's fury grounded through his stewardship as a Hunter and their seeing eye-to-eye.
Even still, demon nature is hard to fully tame and I think Navarre would still try to goad Issachar into the more chaotic side of things, whether it be tempting with persuation or forbidden knowledge. Hunter!Issachar would've become wise to that by now, but humors him the odd time.
Nue Burgers. I think Issachar would grow to love Nue Burgers. Navarre less so cause he still has an exquisite Luxuror taste all that time, but it becomes an acquired taste for him.
Thank you so much for sharing!! Would love to hear more!

“ did you just give me a compliment? “ - for Hunter x Wesker?
Thank you so much for this one! This was a lot of fun to write!
[Prompt List]
Summary: On a mission to retrieve samples with their team, BSAA Agent Hunter Delaney encounters Albert Wesker, and he says something Hunter isn't ready for.
A BSAA Agent!Hunter AU.
Words: 2,083 words.
Content Warnings: Canon typical violence. Mentions of blood. Mentions of torture and death towards the very end for a brief paragraph. Mainly, Hunter and Wesker are just both insufferable in different ways, and can't stop flirting with each other.
Author's Note: AO3 Title comes from Muse's Hysteria. Also, I think I might have to do a sequel to this, lol.
AO3
Hunter hears him before they see him, thanks to their enhanced hearing. Excited anticipation rises in their chest as they turn on their heel, racing toward Kevin to protect him. Hunter roughly shoves their teammate out of the way, trying to smother the smirk on their face. Leaping forward, Hunter careens into the dark blur that is Albert Wesker before he reaches Kevin. They wrap their arms around his waist, knocking Wesker backward. “Get the fuck out of here! Warn Arthur!” Hunter yells, releasing Wesker and rolling away from him. Missions are always more interesting with Wesker around, but that means whatever is in the abandoned vault is important. Hopefully, Arthur, Natasha, and Patrick are almost done retrieving the samples.
“On it, Captain Delaney!” Kevin yells, running towards the vault. Out of the corner of their eye, Hunter watches as Kevin raises two fingers to his earpiece, informing Arthur of the impending shitstorm. They don’t watch Kevin for long, quickly rising to their feet. They bring their fists up in a defensive posture, watching Wesker with an air of amusement. Hunter shouldn’t look forward to meeting Wesker, but they do. They always do.
Wesker rises, a low chuckle emanating from his throat. As he adjusts his dark shades, Wesker purrs, “You know Hunter,” They shiver, a jolt of pleasure running through them as he purrs their name, which Wesker notices, smiling sharply, “If I didn’t know better, I would think you were jealous for my attention. It’s okay if you are, Hunter, I have some time to spare for you today.”
Hunter rolls their eyes, still amused. “In your fucking dreams, asshole.” It holds no bite. The insults exchanged between Hunter and Wesker never do.
“I could tell you about all the things we do in my dreams, Hunter. I don’t think you or your teammates would like it very much.” He’s wrong about that; there are things that Hunter would like to do to Wesker that their teammates wouldn’t approve of. Wesker leaps at them, Hunter ducking down beneath him. He misses Hunter narrowly, landing as Hunter rises and turns to face him. Wesker is faster and utterly relentless, catching Hunter in the chin with a roundhouse kick. His black boot hits their face, Hunter’s head ringing. They stumble back, slightly disoriented for a second.
They recover, fighting through the pain and the ringing. As Wesker finishes his kick, Hunter strikes out with their left fist, throwing a nasty punch into his abdomen. Wesker gasps, the air knocked out of him, stunned by the force. With their momentum, Hunter follows with a right hook into Wesker’s face. His nose crunches beneath their fist, blood spattering as he stumbles backward. His sunglasses fly off, landing a good distance away from the pair. Wesker wipes away the blood from his nose, looking down at the blood on his gloved hand. He looks up at Hunter, smiling at them with a sort of pride. “You’ve been training, haven’t you? Glad to know that I was correct in thinking you would be my equal.”
Shocked, Hunter drops their stance, blinking in surprise. Holy fuck, did he just-? “Did you just give me a compliment?” They stammer out, completely surprised. Wesker never complimented them; Hunter didn’t think he knew how to do that and mean it.
He nods, adding, “You could be my equal, Hunter. Unfortunately, your talents are squandered by those holding you back, including you.” Ah, there it was. Nice moment fucking ruined. Taking advantage of Hunter’s surprised state, he moves, striking Hunter in the middle of their sternum with his palm. Hunter flies backward, slamming into the concrete wall with a pained yelp as the wall shakes. They slide to the ground, leaving a vaguely Hunter-sized dent in the wall. Fuck, it hurts to breathe. “As much as I love flirting with you, I do have something of mine to retrieve.” Wesker turns away from them, his black duster swaying as he starts to leave Hunter behind.
Fuck. Despite how much they enjoy fighting Wesker, they can’t let him reach their team. Wesker will tear through them like wet tissue paper. Pushing themself up, Hunter bites their lip, stifling a pained groan. They chase after him, leaping on his back. Hunter wraps their arms tightly around his neck as Wesker lets out a surprised gurgle. They wrap their legs around his torso, holding on for dear fucking life. His hands claw at their arms, digging into the olive-green fabric of their sweatshirt. Wesker digs in tightly, pain shooting up Hunter’s arms. Don’t let go. Don’t let go. Don’t let-.
Almost immediately, things go to shit. The hallway darkens, red emergency lights flickering on. The building shakes beneath them, Wesker nearly falling over. “EMERGENCY EVACUATION! SELF DESTRUCT IN TEN MINUTES!” Of course, there’s a fucking self-destruct sequence. Whoever built these things had the biggest fucking hardon for them.
“I’m gonna let go if you-,” Hunter starts. The ground collapses beneath the two, freeing Wesker from their grip. The pair free-fall into the dark hole, Hunter’s stomach twisting and turning at the falling sensation. Fuck! They have to find a way to stop their fall. Hunter spies a lone steel girder, grabbing onto it their left hand. Their fingers dig into the metal, creaking under the weight. Their other hand catches Wesker by the collar of his shirt. He wildly lashes out, trying to kick and grab them. Hunter lets out a groan of pain, thankful for their enhanced durability and strength. “Stop fucking moving! I’m trying to save your fucking life, you ungrateful bastard!”
Wesker looks up, reddish-gold eyes narrowing as he catches sight of Hunter’s hold on the beam. “And how would you suggest that we get out of this predicament, Hunter?”
              “I don’t fucking know! I need a minute.”
              “We don’t have a minute!”
“I know!” Hunter draws in a panicked breath, trying to stay calm. They can’t freak out, not now. As they look around, Hunter finds that everything seems hopeless. If they let go, Hunter isn’t sure that either of them could survive the fall, even with their abilities. The building shakes around the pair, debris falling loose. Broken pieces fall past them, nearly hitting Hunter and Wesker.
              “Hunter…”
“I’M TRYING!” They frantically glance around, eventually catching a small glimmer of hope. During the collapse, an entrance to a hallway has been exposed. The ground looks stable enough for both of them to land on. They just hope Wesker will be okay with this. “Wesker, you see that hallway over there?”
He follows their gaze, a pensive look on his face. “I’m assuming you have a plan.”
“If we swing ourselves in that direction, we could build up enough momentum to launch ourselves over there.”
“We’ll have to work together. Are you capable of that?”
Hunter swallows, preferring an alliance with Wesker to death. “I’m willing to work with you to save our fucking asses.”
Wesker nods. “1…2…3.” The pair swing together, eventually starting to build up momentum. As they swing, Hunter feels the beam loosen, knowing the duo doesn’t have long.
“Now!” Wesker commands, and Hunter releases the beam, flying towards the open hallway. They also release the collar of Wesker’s shirt, bracing for the impact of their landing. Hunter rolls forwards as they land, a painful jolt coursing through their arms. Oh, they’re really going to fucking feel that in the morning. As they scramble to their feet, they watch Wesker gracefully rise to his own feet. He smirks, stepping towards Hunter, intending to continue their fight. The floor cracks, splitting the hallway in two, separating Hunter and Wesker.
“EMERGENCY EVACUATION! SELF DESTRUCT IN SEVEN MINUTES!” Fuck, Hunter needs to get out of here.
“Disappointing. I was looking forward to seeing what else you could do, Hunter. You may have won this battle, but you will not win this war.” Wesker seems smug like he’s privy to some information that Hunter doesn’t know.
“Yeah, fucking right.” Hunter snorts, rolling their eyes.
“You could always join me, Hunter. You don’t have to be on the losing side.”
Hunter’s breath catches in their throat, glimpses of what joining Wesker would like in their mind. Was he serious? And were they seriously fucking considering this? Noticing their slight hesitancy, Wesker’s smirk morphs into a smug smile. Forcing themself to shake their head, Hunter replies, “Sorry, I don’t think you could offer me anything to switch sides.”
“Interesting. Your hesitancy would suggest something else. Am I growing on you, Hunter? Do you look forward to these little meetings just as I do?” He tilts his head, his expression morphing into thoughtfulness. “I suppose I’ll have to be more persuasive. I look forward to our next fight, Hunter.”
The building shakes again, debris falling around them. “Yeah, until next time!” Hunter sprints away from Wesker, heading towards the rendezvous point. They should be worried about Wesker’s promise. Instead, Hunter relishes the anticipation in their chest, already looking forward to their next meeting.
--
Hunter raises an eyebrow, staring at the vase of flowers and the box sitting next to the flowers on their kitchen island. Someone delivered these to the front desk of Hunter’s building, and no one had any idea who their mysterious gift giver was. The only instruction was for the flowers and the gift to be delivered to Hunter as soon as possible and discreetly. Already, Hunter who knows who sent them the gift, trying to ignore butterflies in their stomach. In the simple, yet expensive vase, are a bouquet of vibrantly purple lavender with red roses. The fiery red of the roses reminds Hunter of Wesker’s eyes, the faint red that smoldered in his irises. Their heart leaps into their chest, the flowers smelling exquisite due to their heightened senses. A white envelope is attached by a satiny red ribbon, Hunter’s name written on the front in an extremely neat font. They pick the envelope off, turning it over and carefully breaking the wax seal. Hunter slides a simple card out of the envelope, written in that same elegant font.
Hunter,
I hope everything is to your liking, especially the flowers. I would assume that you would know what roses symbolize, but do you know what Lavender symbolizes? Devotion.
I meant it when I said you have the potential to be my equal, Hunter. The BSAA is holding you back from your true potential. They fear what you could be, who you are meant to be. I, however, am not afraid; I could never be afraid of you. If you should ever desire freedom from the BSAA, come find me.
I anticipate our next meeting with great pleasure.
Eternally Yours,
A.W.
Even in fucking letter writing, Wesker was still insufferable and arrogant. Hunter swallows, looking at the flowers. Heat rises in their cheeks, and Hunter reminds themself that Wesker is a world-class manipulator. All of this was meant to tempt Hunter away from the BSAA, to weaken their loyalty. Yet, a naïve part of them wants to believe that he means it: devotion and passion. They shake their head, knowing better. “Get it through your fucking skull, Hunter. Wesker is just fucking with you.”
They grab the box next to the flowers, somewhat flat yet square-shaped. Carefully taking the ribbon off, Hunter opens it to find a manilla folder and another note from Wesker, reading: I thought you deserved to see this. – A.W.
Gently placing the note on the table, Hunter removes the folder from the box, placing it on the table. They open the folder, their faded green eyes increasingly widening in horror. Hands trembling, Hunter realizes exactly what this file is. It is the BSAA’s plan to take out Hunter if they should ever mutate into an uncontrollable creature, something Hunter wasn’t privy to. Or at least, that’s what is supposed to be. Clive assured them that, the BSAA would take Hunter out Old Yeller style. They drink in the terrifying words before them, their chest tightening. The BSAA would keep them alive at all costs, expressly going against Hunter’s desire for a swift death, and to use them in experimentation. It was a fate worse than death.
Making their way to their dark emerald-green couch, Hunter sits, unable to stop reading the folder. Wesker is trying to break their loyalty to BSAA by showing them this, but Hunter still feels grateful towards him. They’re just going to have to show their gratitude in person.

Voltron Ghost/Cryptid Hunter AU
• Coran is the one that makes all of their equipment. Hunk and Pidge help out a lot, and take a lot of notes during their searches to use to improve all of tech they have now, and come up with ideas for news ones.
• Allura is the camerawoman. She goes along with the squad because she's one of those horror junkies that lives off of scaring herself to death. Also, she's still learning how to use the camera so the shots aren't always as good and she tends to focus in on Shiro more often than not. She doesn't realize this until they're editing the footage and “Allura, the dOOR SLAMMED SHUT ON ITS OWN AND YOU WERE ZOOMING IN ON SHIRO’S FLOOF.”
• Speaking of Shiro, they always bring him along. He does it mostly to humor them. They do it because when they go ghost hunting, the spirits always seem to latch on to him. They've found him wandering out on his own with no idea how he got there and acting really strange too many times to count. Twice they thought they REALLY lost him. The spirits also leave lots of scratches behind. Nothing too serious, don't worry. Lance called it “kinky” once and then was almost pushed down the stairs by some “unseen force.” But Shiro is always the most affected and as a result carries sage with him a lot to use at the end of each hunt and on a regular basis has to say, “No, Pidge, I am not about to smoke the world’s biggest joint.”
• Keith likes to do all of the research beforehand. He’ll spend hours sitting in front of his laptop, scribbling down information in his old notebook with that horrible handwriting of his. He’s quieter than the others, but he also likes to spout out little facts while they're hunting. Things like, “They found the bodies right here in this room” or “This is where the hikers went missing” because he knows it scares the others, and he gets way too much entertainment from terrorizing his team than he should.
• Hunk is the one they send off on his own to do sessions or to explore. You know Aaron from that “Ghost Adventures” show, who is always forced to go alone? Yeah. That's Hunk. He’s also the one that uses all of the fancy equipment. Because the others know how easily he gets frightened, they like to mess with him a little. But he gets revenge by purposefully messing with the tech to startle them. No one knows quite how he's able to do it, so they can't always tell when he's the culprit or if it's some paranormal force, and it gives them a newfound respect for him. Until they scare him again oh the next hunt.
• Pidge is the debunker. She’ll always be the one who will be the first to come up with a “reasonable, scientific” explanation for what happens. A tree suddenly shows up, lying on the ground in front of the car when they're out hunting for Bigfoot? Nope. Definitely not Bigfoot. The tree just fell on its own, completely natural. Doesn't matter that no one heard it fall. The ball rolling across the room was just… a draft? In a room with the door closed? Sure! Although she’s the one who sticks to science and logic like glue, she's also the most excited when something happens. It confuses them.
• Lance is the narrator. He does the interviews with the tour guides or past witnesses, and people like his charisma. He’s literally able to charm their stories out of them, and at this point Lance just makes it a sort of challenge to find someone who's immune to him. It hasn't happened yet. He also is the one that likes to joke around, especially when they're doing sessions, asking the spirits if he looks good and then screams when he actually gets an answer. When the team gets frightened out of their wits (after composing himself and making sure he isn't going to die of a heart attack) he pulls them back together again and calms them down, usually with a horrible pun.
