Through the loud support of fans, they were able to just barely take the lead in the polls, and then win!

It was as close to silent as it could get in Parfaedia, the night dark above the soft yellow of the street lamps. The wind was cold upon the rooftops, and there a cookie watched, waiting, a light smile on their face as light gleamed off their monocle. They moved, perched on the edge of the roof.

They counted, mouthing the shape of each word, three, two...

Alarms blared, lights flashing, and a cookie burst out of the window of the Parfaedian history museum, holding something wrapped tightly in a cloth to their chest. Glass showered down onto the pavement in tinkling chaos. Museum personnel shouted after the thief, but she merely laughed and took off.

Roguefort grinned, a giggle bubbling up in their chest. How unnecessarily flashy. How classless. How crass. They laughed, crouching and pushing off the edge of the roof to land on the next, giving chase before they could even think.

Chili Pepper was fast, they would give her that much credit. She moved through Parfaedia as though she lived here, a grace and precision to her actions that spoke of skill, but she did not move with the familiarity that Roguefort did. This was their city, after all, not hers.

She made her way through the streets, turning sharp corners and down alleyways nobody used, weaving through the city of Parfaedia. Finally, she launched herself up, kicking off the side of a building and flipping onto the roof of another.

She crouched down, kneeling and resting the cloth on a knee. She was grinning as she unwrapped it, but the glimmering gold only tasted a second of night air before Roguefort spoke up.

"Nice night for a stroll, is it not, Chili Pepper Cookie?"

She turned in a flash, wrapping the artifact back up and holding it tight to her chest. Her gaze narrowed, sharp grin cut across her face. "Phantom Bleu."

Roguefort smiled, giving a bow.

"I'd say it's nice to see you, but you know that'd be a lie," Chili Pepper continued through a laugh. Despite the grin on her face, she stood there tensed and ready to bolt. "What do you want?"

"My, can a thief not be curious?" Roguefort questioned, a mask of wide eyed innocence sliding over their face. "I merely noticed you were in the area. I do make a habit of keeping tabs on my competition."

"I'm flattered," she countered dryly, eyes narrowing beyond her grin.

Roguefort took a step forward, watching with a short laugh as she flinched back. "You're jumpy, Chili Pepper Cookie. Just what is it you're holding?"

"None of your business," the thief answered back, short and terse, her raspy voice snapping the syllables off as soon as they came. "So fuck off. Let me revel in my catch, I think I deserve to."

"Ah, but Chili Pepper Cookie," Roguefort purred, slowly beginning to make their way towards her. Their heels clicked on the rooftop with each deliberate step, cape fluttering in the night wind. "This is my city. My territory, if you will. It's quite rude to steal in another thief's domain."

Chili Pepper stepped back, and back again, tension bleeding into something slightly panicked. "H-Hey, back off Bleu! I got there first!"

She missed her next step, foot slipping through empty open air, and she yelped, flailing on the edge of the roof. Roguefort grabbed her by the shirt and pulled her close, away from the danger of falling.

"Careful," Roguefort purred after a moment, and she glared up at them from her spot against their chest. "I would hate to see all that hard work you went to just now go to waste."

"Ugh, whatever Bleu." She pulled herself away from them with a huff, carefully stepping away from the edge. She held the cloth she'd stolen tight to her chest, glaring at them. "I got better places to be than here."

They let her go with a smile. "Of course," they agreed, smiling serenely. "I merely wished to say hello. Have a nice night, Chili Pepper Cookie."

Chili Pepper stepped back, her eyes narrowed at them. When Roguefort didn't move, she turned and fled, making her way across the rooftops and dropping into an alleyway off in the distance.

Roguefort smiled, and held up the golden artifact they'd swiped from her to inspect it. It was a small thing, but it was made entirely from gold, and was sure to be worth quite a bit. Chuckling to themself, they tucked it away and departed from the rooftop, enjoying the enraged scream that echoed faintly over the streets of Parfaedia.

"Mom? Dad? Where are you?!"

I, Croissant Cookie... well, to be honest, was a lonely kid when I was younger. Which means, ha, I had to live by myself.

Many people told me not to take what I don't own... but of course, I did. Mainly things I needed to keep myself alive. I was getting pretty good at it. Honestly I'm surprised I wasn't arrested at least once.

Though, there was this guy, Phantom Bleu.

They were my idol. I read the news about them in the herald, and wow, were they just like me. However they were even more than just a thief. They were a phantom thief. Unlike me, instead of stealing things like food just to survive, they stole relics. Jewels, especially. Without leaving a trace. Disappearing before the targets knew what hit them.

Rubies, the symbol of strength. These jewels are what inspired me to keep moving... and I even got to see one at a museum, too.

But that time when I did, a heist was in set, and I got to witness their calling card--

Phantom Bleu... they were just as amazing as I thought! So dapper, stealthy as well... mon dieu, their disguise really seemed to perplex me! They had their eye on me! Somehow, just, somehow, Bleu knew I had a keen eye for relics such as these... But for all I know, during this heist, the police were caught onto me! I didn't do anything wrong, was being I too suspicious?!

"Get the girl! She could be part of their plan, too!"

I was scared, I didn't do anything wrong. Surely this was the end of me, I thought! Bon, ben...

Suddenly! Phantom Bleu swept me off my feet, I could not believe my eyes! They faced the police, so brave and confident! "This sweet girl is none of my business! She is merely but an innocent, do not frame her for my own doings."

They were holding me, and I haven't really felt this much safe before despite the fact they were a thief.

"Au revoir, gentlemen!", they exclaimed before taking me to someplace safe. It was the city alleyway, the cops couldn't see where we were.

"Are you hurt?" Bleu asked, worringly.

I didn't... really expect this from them, non. I expected them to be some actual rogue, but they seemed really sweet... so I replied, "I... I have nowhere to go to..."

"Oh mon dieu, not even your parents? You do not even know your way back? You poor thing..." Bleu sweetly said. It was... oddly comforting. My eyes were on that jewel they were holding... the same ruby they were locked on during my visit...

"I will take you for now, petite rubis. Rest assured, you will be safe."

My eyes gleamed in awe... the great Phantom Bleu... I've become their protege... and they were what they are now... my guardian! Was I too old for this? Oui, but... I didn't realize how much I needed this until now! Especially because Phantom Bleu was my idol... but I now then came to know their real name,

Roguefort Cookie. They taught me many things. And as much as they hesitated, they passed on even their own skills to me.

And so, here I am. Phantom Ruby. The next thing galleries around the city were fearing for. I am now Bleu's pupil... and I won't let these cops get my guard down. Not a chance!

Or, at least, that's what I've always dreamed of...

CherriMocha- Ponysona: cherri is a deer pony hybrid who lives in the outskirts of ponyville and near the ever free forest, she used to be in a deer tribe and is the daughter of the cheif buck (can't spell) when she came of age she refused to be the next in line due to not really being into the ordeal and would like to choose her own path. This making her have some issues with her father.

The Rot(Multifandom Friendly): The rot , not really having a specific gender , can be either is the spawn of lucifer(an oc) and an angel hybrid. It's attitude isn't really great and is mostly an asshole most of the time. It's main goal is to basically torment souls and hosts etc. But it is the demon of lust/gluttony. It's body is made of a corrosive substance which can be toxic to mortal beings.

Brock(Pokemon): Brock in my au is a early young adult who in others eyes is like a normal person. But taking a closer look and getting to know him he isn't really fully human. He has elemental abilities like his parents and has a rock hard shell on his skin. He has elemental abilities but also counters with weaknesses. His main powers are based of pokemon types like ground/rock, normal, fire, and fairy type abilities and can shape-shift into certain pokemon. His main being an onix and eevee!. He has a hard time though controlling his abilities and feelings and can go out of hand quickly. But tries to keep it all a secret due to team rocket and others calling him a monster etc.

Almond Cookie (Cookierun): Almond in my au is a difficult guy, being turned into a half bat-cat by a magic mishap and is still grumpy about it. He's a workaholic who rarely keeps his hair nice and tidy and is tired alot. Being nocturnal he hates the bright sun and goes in hiding. He doesn't really get along well with others well (especially Roguefort) and is always out for his family. He can become a half bat-cat and full with his full form being able to change size depending on his mood!

Cotton-oc: cotton is my fursona , whis a cat/dragon hybrid. To make this short she has a personality similar to pinkie pie and spinel , and is always joyful!

Flint/Pokemon-AU: Flint (if most of you don't know) is brocks father in the indigo league series . In my au is the same. But like brock he has elemental abilities and has a monster like form of a half draconaquis. (Pokemon ver) he is protective of his family and is always there to try and be a good father, though him and Brock have a iffy father son relationship.

All That Glitters ⁝ Rougefort Cookie

Rougefort shall be going by they/them here (however I do enjoy they/he/she (preference (best to worst in their opinion) in that order) Rougefort)

I could not figure out how to make "gentleman" gender-neutral, so bear with me.

To Rouguefort, a party was not that interesting; to them, it was always a coverup for the greed and selfish wants of the higher class in order to flex their wealth in a way no dear regular person could even dream of; golden spoons always placed in their mouth at birth, Rougefort had talked, danced and laughed with too many of them to even find themselves enjoying these parties even slightly behind their mask anymore, having ditched their disguise for the night in order to blend in amongst the crowd, their shoulders, necks and fingers glittering and being far too bright in such an already crowded ballroom.

Yes, even the thief had trouble with the glittering of jewels at times, their hand coming up slightly to shield their blueberry eyes away from the lights as the glass' rim met their lips, the liquid pouring down their throat with a familiar burn as the band played.

Their eyes never stayed in one place for long, however, security was tight, and yet as Rougefort's eyes dashed from one security guard to the next, to the cameras and even Almond Cookie that mingled in the crowd, they had begun to notice little things that could work to their advantage; the guards tended to take a break every thirty minutes from the pathway that lead to the vault their eyes were set upon, and after that it took three minutes for another set to come in to stand where the previous ones had stood and would give the gentleman thief, from their position, at least a minute to get past them.

It was quarter past eight when their eyes finally met the clock that was far too large for its use but served quite a good time in their favour: they had fifteen minutes to prepare. Preparing to move to get closer, Rougefort felt a light tug on their arm, and yet with the gentleness of it, they knew it was an intentional tug. Preparing themselves to engage in conversation, they already had a way to escape the discussion in mind as he turned around, and yet, despite the steel that they thought had been covering their heart this entire time, Rougefort found themself at a loss for words.

Now, they had seen the statues of Greek Gods before, but they had been merely stone and marble; something that did not move, speak or look at them in such a way that made them flutter, but yet depicted beauty in a way that was alluring and yet so frighteningly beautiful, and yet those statues were put to shame in the eyes of the thief, their eyes settling on such bright and curious ones that lead from the hand, the yellow of their suit clutched tightly within fingertips before the person let go.

If Aphrodite were to hear their thoughts, Rougefort knew that they would be struck down in an instant. How could someone be so gorgeous?

"I'm so sorry to grab your attention like this," you had begun to speak to them, and yet your words went right through their skin and flesh, piercing their heart and making it shudder, knowing your words were meant for them, and them only, "but I must know who designed your suit, it's like a diamond in the right lighting and-." Your hands were touching their suit, and yet they could feel your warmth through the fabric. Your fingers were so gentle, your words like honey and milk as you raved about the stitchwork, the patterns, the way that the suit gave off an illusion that it was a gem in the light of the ballroom.

Sure, they knew that the suit had been crafted with the idea in mind to conceal the gems that they were searching for but yet they kept their mouth shut, knowing that the moment they blew their cover, the Phantom Thief would find themselves behind bars. They thought once enough [even if they hadn't committed the crime] was enough.

Maybe they could stay for a few more minutes.

More than a headcanon, I guess is a silly idea... let me tell you:

There was once, not so long after the enigmatic Phantom Bleu had come to realize their feelings towards a certain stoic detective, were he was almost caught.

Phantom Bleu (because at the moment they were not the watch maker Roguefort but the thief) had been running for several minutes already, begin followed right behind by Almond. Between banter, throwing random objects at the detective and avoiding the glow of the chains, both adults reached the top of a building, the thief of hearts and jewels finding themself against the sword and a wall, or, more likely the chains a high fall from the roof.

And there, as Phantom Bleu started to prepare to jump, giving small steps blackguards and facing the detective as they gave their usual speech before making their escape yet again. There, with Almond right in front of them with the moon at his back and the glow of chains surrounding him.

There Roguefort found themself almost speechless. Because, they had to be honest the detective looked quite handsome right there and then.

And dear legends if it didn't do things to their heart.

And to their focus.

Because the next thing they knew they were falling after they let out the most embarrassing squeak, and was able to catch the surprised, almost worried face of Almond for a split of second.

Luckily they fell on top of some trash bags and an old mattress (that was very dirty). The fall hurt but, they had worse.

Not too many seconds later Almond was down right there by their side, asking if they were ok, and agreeing to letting them go just this once (A lie, he had let them go so many times before). Phantom Bleu could see the detective attempt at holding back some laugh.

Roguefort ended up a bit embarrassed at loosing focus and all, and the small caring acts of the detective (and honestly cute attempt at not laughing) didn't help at all with the growing crush.

Buckle up everyone yer girl's about to beat a dead horse.

Ok so one thing that kinda disappoints me is the fact that the cookie run fandom kinda forgot the fact that Moonlight's not a goddess of the moon, but rather an entity who guards a city of wizards via sleeping.

Yeah, she has a very apparent moon aesthetic but thats cuz the moon has heavy associations with magic, it doesn't mean she's from the moon or anything. Other than magic, the moon is also associated with sleep, and Moonlight is more powerful when she's asleep, so it'll only make sense to make a magic narcoleptic themed around the night.

Everyone just sees that Sea Fairy is attracted to the moon and believe that Moonlight is said moon.

And not only does Moonlight not have Sea Fairy in her relationships

Nowhere does it say she's from the moon or anything. She was probably made with moonlight, but again moonlight is associated with witchcraft and wizardry, and it says here that she was created by ancient wizards, presumably with moonlight, hence the bloody name.

While I do like seamoon, its pretty shitty to say that its a canon ship without even the slightest bit of evidence and bash people for not shipping it, when there's more evidence to support that Seamoon is and probably never will be canon then that they'll ever BE canon.

The only two forms of evidence i can find of Seamoon being even vaguely implied is the fact that Sea Fairy has Moonlight in her relationships, but as stated above, those feelings are one-sided and it never explicitly says that she's in love with Moonlight, just the fact that she trusts her.

I'm a bit confused by this AU, and the link to read it Chronologically doesn't work. Could you kinda explain/summarize what's going on please?

Ah, pardon the chronological link not working! I suppose mobile does not take kindly to what I have set up. One fix I have found is to pull the blog up on a mobile browser and then click the chronological link. I believe Chrome is the default for most phones?

If that does not work, I have a summary of the current plot below. (For newcomers, this is rife with Spoilers, but will not contain every event in this story (or be 100% accurate due to me not double-checking) so it does not drag on for too long!! Do consider the above solution before looking here.)

- The Crimson Curse is an ailment that causes a desire for the blood and meat of another human. I.E. it causes the afflicted to want to commit cannibalism. - A cursed individual cannot drink or eat from another cursed, lest they get sick from it. - Avoiding/suppressing these urges only causes the cursed in question to begin to 'lose themself' and become more bug-like. Mosquito is the most common, but other insects and arachnids are applicable.

- Mint Choco happened to eat his assistant, Oreo Cheesecake (an OC), and fled to a Mansion that just so happened to belong to Roguefort. - Roguefort took him in, met Vampire (who flirts with him), and Aloe (who tried to kill him in the middle of the night). - Mint gets a premonition about this person named Sparkling, and follows it the next morning by 'escaping' the mansion during a group hunt. - Mint gets attacked by Lemon, one of three hunters, but is helped by Vampire- the two of them then go to Sparkling's bar. - Turns out Sparkling is related to Roguefort, disagreed with them, and defected from the manor. He, Vampire, and Mint all enjoy a round of blood-infused juice. (Though Mint does learn that those that get cursed also grow wings and it's incredibly painful.) - Vampire brings Mint home after some drinking, reminiscing over his dead sister- which died terribly at the hands of Roguefort and some horrific blood-sucking creatures. - Alchemist back then was fed to the manor despite being cursed and caused most of the manor to have a distaste for the bat. - Vampire gets scolded and later beaten up by Roguefort, and Mint is left to rest peacefully in his room.

- Mint, after waking back up, finds and follows Aloe to the basement. - Turns out Aloe has a little area in the cold, stony underside of the mansion that contains Co- a dear friend of Aloe's that is incredibly weak and on life support. - There also happens to be another person named Caramel (otherwise known as Hero) who's been trapped down here for who knows how long. Mint promises to help him out, but then his wings grow in and leave him incapacitated for some time. - Aloe has a conflict of needing electrical power to keep Co alive, so they leave the mansion for just a moment to attack and kidnap Lemon, biting him and sucking out his blood often to keep him sedated. - Mint eventually gets Aloe to let Lemon go, pick up Co and save Caramel, and book it out of the manor. - However, since Lemon and Co are attached to each other during the escape and Roguefort attempts to catch the group- he throws Co in order to save the rest of the group- effectively killing Co. - Aloe is understandably upset over this, attempts to kill Lemon for it once everyone is out, but Caramel knocks them out.

- In search of a place to stay, Mint recommends Sparkling's bar, to which the three head to (and find a piece of bread on the pavement on the way there). - Turns out Oreo Cheesecake is still alive and living with Sparkling. There's tension between Oreo and Mint, though that eventually gets resolved with Oreo taking care of Mint just as he did before all of this occurred. - Lemon and Caramel say their goodbyes the next morning, thanking the two, then Aloe and Mint depart soon after for some sandwich shop that serves cursed individuals in secret. - The two make it to the shop, order, and see that Sandwich has a doll of sorts that seems to be partly alive. This gives Aloe new hope that Co can come back. - After some shock and horror of checking the kitchen of the shop, they realize that Sandwich is also a cursed person, and accidentally befriend her. Sammy gives the two their bloody food, then Aloe and Mint have a moment of bonding. - At some point, Aloe asks Sandwich about the doll, Spinny/Spinach, and inquires about attempting to bring a friend back as well. Turns out it's because of someone named Truffle, that she coincidentally has an order that she needs to send to her manor. - Aloe agrees to take the food to Truffle so that they may have a chance of seeing Co again, bringing Mint along with them since the two are kinda stuck with each other.

- At the manor, the food gets stolen by some bolting fast figure, but Truffle doesn't seem to mind. - Aloe goes through agony and has a reunion with Co, eventually getting a doll made of them. - Mint and Truffle (and eventually Aloe) have a discussion about how to get rid of the curse, and Truffle kinda tries to place Mint in a prophetic hero situation. - In the night, Mint wakes up to the sound of Lemon screaming outside the manor. Turns out he has wings now and is cursed. Whoops! - Beet, the second of three hunters, finds Lemon and starts grilling him about this happening after something happened to Carrot, being aggressive and not hesitating to kill him. - Mint bolts outside of the manor, bumping into Truffle and then being guided by her, to stop Beet from harming Lemon. - Mint gets shot in a non-vital area, Beet gets bitten and wrapped up by spiders (that of which is a giant mound known to be Onion), and Lemon gets treated.

- Lemon, Aloe, and Mint all then decided to depart back for Roguefort's mansion since killing the source will disperse the curse and save lives yadda yadda Hero Type Beat. - The crew is told to cut through farmland, and Lemon knows who works there, reluctantly offering to lead the way. - Turns out Carrot, the third hunter, works those fields. - Lemon orders the crew to hide, and tells them that he'll take care of Carrot, since he knows her.

NOOWWWW captain ice is incredibly enjoyable to me... i think she's so handsome ?? and she's stern but very nice to children which i really enjoy. even if she comes off standoffish she's got a heart of gold and her crewmates and the children (and generally most cookies honestly) can see that about her ! sooo ... really i dont know how you can possibly not adore her

i remember people were so excited for her when she was teased and good lord it was definitely deserved... she's one of my top cookies honestly. and u know what while im here i wanna say i think her basic costume is the best .. i dont like the other one

In the story sorbet shark doesnt stay with captain ice but they go back with pirate but i like to think sorbet is like a little adoptive child to her, in the same sense that peppermint is... i love those drawings i saw before with sorbet wearing her coat and that one comic of her giving sorbet and peppermint a goodnight kiss and then the entire ship's crew is lined up for a kiss as well afterwards

i think she is the type to easily and without a doubt give up her own personal safety just to protect other cookies ... its really just in her nature to care about those around her. and i think because of that she gets a lot of respect from other cookies like jujube (shut up i know their relationship isnt like that in game but whatever)

okayyyyok omg !! i have too too many so im just gonna dump about one of my favorite ones... but i love the cheesecake accomplice headcanon !! its one of my own concoctions. but essentially i think cheesecake is an accomplice to roguefort/phantom bleu in one way or another...

basicallyyyy . so in the original cheesecake manor/cookie detective event, when roguefort steals her jewel and walnut makes a big fuss about getting it back, cheesecake actually really doesnt care that much about it and says she has a spare just like it. then roguefort returns the jewel in practically the same breath ...

and when u look at cheesecake's relationship chart, her relationship to roguefort is about what disguise they'll use next. roguefort's relationship to cheesecake is about what jewels she'll wear today ... now these are two cookies that have positive relationships with EVERYONE, but i think their relationship to each other has so much potential to it ...

so here's my headcanon: cheesecake and roguefort are accomplices, cheesecake herself isnt really a thief of course but she fancies roguefort and has a nice relationship with them so she'll take part in their little scandals every now and again ❤ sometimes for fun and just to give walnut something to do roguefort will pretend to steal from cheesecake and just return what they "stole" later ..
