Little moments that I love in Red White and Royal Blue. PART 4. Okay I just keep finding them. This movie is a phenomenon.

"Alex, It's good to see you, sober." Henry's quip 😏 He obviously played different scenarios in his head before finally deciding on this one and probably practiced this on his way over. He knew Alex would be angry at him and probably tease him and so he went with something that would annoy Alex, throw him off his game 😏 and the look Alex is giving him here 😂

and the look Shaan is giving Alex 😭

Look how hard Alex is trying to think of why else he dislikes Henry 😂 he literally shifts uncomfortably moments later 😜 because he cannot find anything

and look how happy Henry is that Alex can't give him any other reason 🤣

And tell me if I'm wrong. In the red room, after Henry breaks their kiss, in utter disbelief he looks at Alex first

It's my favorite honestly, it's so cute and sweet 😍 Henry thinking how it was Alex this time who initiated the kiss and what this means 😌 his heart must have been doing some serious gymnastics 😏🤣

Ellen's "we're gonna need some pizza", imagine going to your parent and telling them something about yourself that you're very skeptical about sharing, but hearing them say this, or how they are interested in you is probably the best feeling. I love how Ellen here (being the president she probably stays very busy) realized her son needed this so she probably made time for him 🤧😭 and showed support in every possible way

Then Ellen tells her son how a relationship like this will define his life - she absolutely loves and cares for Alex and saw how this is going to affect him in more ways than one and wanted to tell him this, not to scare him or anything, just so that Alex is careful about his life choices .....then we get the I love yous 🤧❤️

I love love how Oscar already liked Henry, long before Alex liked Henry, his "he seems like a nice little guy" and then we get this scene later. The "call me congressman" and "well in that case you can call me your royal highness" lmao they are best friends already 😁😉 they understand each other's sarcasm even though they hardly meet

Yes Taylor literally invented hearteyes and you can see only one of his eyes here (😝) that too, sideways but we all feel his hearteyes on Henry. I love how animated Henry is here, for someone like Henry (who is such a closed off person and literally created and maintains a persona for everyone else that is not true to himself) to open up and feel so comfortable around someone is such a huge deal, that's how safe he feels around Alex 🤧

Thoughts and pictures - S3E1

So after digesting my first watch a little bit, I'm starting my rewatch of this season and I'll share a few thoughts and reactions (and screenshots) because I can't keep it all to myself 😱

I was happy that we dived directly into the (sort of) trial and confrontation between Wilhelm, Simon and August. I do wonder how much time passed between the speech and this scene though. It sets the tone for the entire season for Wilhelm: he's gonna be alone, with no support whatsoever from his parents. He enters the room alone, his parents arrive after him and his mother doesn't even look at him... Simon arrives with his mother and August with his stepdad. But Wilhelm has to deal with the situation alone (aka how to get incredibly mad at Kristina barely 5min into the season 😤)

Simon looks so pretty and so sad. (And how did Omar manage to look even younger this season??) He wants to be done with this whole thing. Also I checked but 1.2 millions kronor is not as much as I thought it would be (it's apparently around 107 000€, which is not bad, but I was expecting more)

I see what you did there Simon 😏 (Can someone gif this scene and put it in parallel with Wilhelm seeing Simon's room for the first time and saying "cozy" in season 1? :p)

The boys coming back to the meeting: very smooth. Nobody knows what you were doing. Nop. Not at all. (We can see Linda kinda smirking when Simon sits back whereas Kristina looks like she just ate a very sour lemon). Wilhelm arranging his hair and Simon smiling at him: they might be in the middle of an important meeting and at the Palace but they're still 2 teenage boys in love (and I love them for that 💜)

Rickard looked and sounded like such an idiot in the previous seasons that I didn't expect him to actually be competent! But I guess we were mostly seeing him through August's eyes... I know Rickard said he was the best lawyer in the country but I have to admit that I thought he was just bragging ^^' Also: August is such an asshole. Did he really need to rile up Wilhelm like that? He's got quite the confidence to attack him and tell him how he just fuck things up on his own, in front of everyone like that, including the queen. Who, again, is not defending her son!! She tells them to shut up but she says nothing to August for talking like that to her son 😠

(They look like they've been called to the principal office). Kristina doesn't look at them immediately, she looks at Erik's picture on her desk first. Then she looks at August. And then finally at Wilhelm. She is so awful to him this season... Right from the start. And then she breaks down crying for Erik.

While Wilhelm holds her. I wasn't expecting to see her grieve so much this season. We didn't see that at all in season 2. Is it because she repressed all of her emotions too much? I hate that she breaks down like that just after Wilhelm publicly coming out. How can she not be there for him. I get that it must be hard to lose a son, but she still has a very alive one, who needs her.

Kristina is not getting redeemed in this season but Linda kinda is! I was super happy to see her get in mama bear's mode at the trial ^^ It was about time!! But here: I'm sorry Linda but it's not your son's role to keep you updated about what's going on in your house! You're the mother! Stop putting everything on this kid's shoulders!! Maybe he never tells you but do you ever ask??

Simon being truly angry at Sara is so good. I am so happy so he's able to feel that way and to not feel like he has to repress it, to forgive her, to help her. She did something truly bad and he's allowed to be mad. Also look at his angry lil' face 💜

In things that made me laugh: Wilhelm's reaction and face to learning that Simon is grounded all semester xD He was talking all smoothly/flirty and then his tone changes so dramatically when he realizes he won't be able to get his boyfriend in his bed very soon! Horny boy is horny (and frustrated :p)

I'm happy to see that Simon still has Ayub and Rosh here to support him. I wish they would have told him that replying to comments online was a bad idea though. You know the saying kids: don't feed the trolls!!

Wilhelm looks like such a normal teenager when he gets back to his room. First time we see him so carefree. It breaks my heart to know that on the other side Simon is so unwell already.

Wilhelm waking up happy and smiling. And being just a teenager (for the first time in a very long time): thinking about his boyfriend, redrawing the heart on his hand. It's such teenager things!! My boy just wants to have a normal life... (And then he's immediately reminded that he's actually not just a regular teenager with Farima's text).

Simon's worried face when he asks about Wilhelm's initiation. You can see he's truly horrified at the idea that he might have gone through what's been described in the article.

And then it starts: the piling up of everything on Wilhelm's shoulders. First his mother looking really unwell and breaking down (even though she hasn't been said to be officially ill yet), and now the negative impact of his speech on the school... Which Vincent takes great pleasure in reminding him about.

This first episode is really good at setting things in motion. We see already the beginning of what's gonna go down during this season: Simon not feeling well, dealing with online hatred, struggling with his new place next to Wilhelm in the spotlight. And Wilhelm trying to finally live a carefree life at school with his boyfriend now that he's officially out but slowly getting crushed under the pressure of his role as Crown Prince and the increasingly obvious lack of support from his parents.

WIP Wednesday Thursday

Happy Thursday y'all! It's been a while since I gave an update on the Dancing with the Stars Dieter fic, Closed Position.

As mentioned before, I do not plan to fully dive into this fic and start posting until Destiny & Deliverance has been completed. However, there is only one chapter and the epilogue left (I'm not ready). Since, it's not that far off...I have started working on my outline for dancing Dieter. More below the cut. 👇

I've been doing a ton of homework on the show, so I plan to incorporate a lot of crazy behind the scenes stuff that actually happens and makes for an entertaining plot. Anyone down for a weekly spray tan? No? Dieter isn't a fan either.

This fic will not be anywhere near as angsty as D & D. However, some tough topics are mentioned, mostly relating to Kat's (OFC) asshole ex who will be very present as another professional dancer on the show. Then of course, Dieter's issues with drugs and alcohol are discussed too. He will be sober in this fic, but early on in his journey. Still very much our loveable, hot mess trash panda though.

I would like to do a lot more extras with this fic. I plan to share some inspiration videos for each chapter so you will have a visual of the dances. I think it will help you understand what ultimately causes Dieter and Kat to fall for each other. If nothing else, the visuals are just hot AF.

There will be a lot of Latin dances, just because we have to show off Dieter's loose hips. You know there are going to be jokes about that. I feel like it's a good excuse to take Dieter's button allergy up a few notches too. 😏 Here is a sexy little Rumba video to get us started. This dance may or may not be the one that gets them in trouble...🤐

Series Summary: Dieter Bravo was looking to change his bad boy image and clean up his act after hitting rock bottom. His team hoped that having him join the nationally televised family friendly dance competition would be a good first step, if they can keep him out of trouble. 

Katarina Stamos expected her last season as a professional dance partner to one of Hollywood’s biggest stars to go the same as it had for the past nine seasons. That all changed when she was partnered with the infamous Dieter Bravo. 

Dieter and Katarina are reluctantly thrown into their partnership and must learn to work together to succeed in the competition. In the process they form a deeper connection beyond the dance floor that neither anticipated.

Rick sat down on your bed, smiling as he fell backwards and sank in to your fluffy duvet. His happiness didn't come from the hourglass, but from his breakthrough and the fact he could share it with you. "Beth did a bunch of tests and it's safe this time. Now I've finally found the right place to start."

"That's amazing, Rick," you said, sitting next to him with a smile of your own. You knew he'd spent more than a few late nights at the lab, or poring over equations in his room, as he searched for a way to improve his father's invention.

"Yeah, it really is." Rick propped himself up on his elbows and you couldn't help glancing at his messed up hair, then the sliver of tummy that peeked out when his shirt rode up. The hourglass had always given him some extra confidence and flirtiness, so you weren't surprised when he said, "You know, I thought maybe we could do a little test ourselves."

You and Rick had been secretly sleeping together for a little less than a year. One night while riding the high of a successful JSA mission, you ended up at his place, and the encounter was more satisfying than either of you had expected. It continued after that, because it was so much easier for both of you to hook up with a friend who knew about your alter ego than to try and start a relationship with a civilian. At least that was what you told yourselves.

Even with your many nights together, the hourglass had never been in play. No super strength or stamina, and less easy confidence. You couldn't deny the warmth you felt at the idea of a 'test'.

You climbed up onto his lap and laid your hands on his chest, the bulky hourglass sitting between them. "I wouldn't be opposed."

Rick reached up and pulled you down to him, making you laugh in surprise. "I was hoping you'd say that," he replied in a low voice, one that always made you melt. He moved his hand to the back of your neck and kissed you first, and you happily let his tongue into your mouth.

You moaned softly as you ran your hand down his torso, stopping at the hem of his shirt to push it up to his chest. Your hand ran over his stomach, feeling him tense a bit as you followed the trail of hair that disappeared under the waist of his jeans, and you stopped there.

Frustrated with the teasing, Rick held onto you and flipped you over with ease, laying you back against your pillows. One hand held his weight up as the other grabbed your ass and pulled you closer. You could feel him through all of his layers and yours, and you were even more eager to be fucked with his strength. Thankfully your roommate was out that night so you were completely in the clear until morning.

Clothes quickly went flying towards the floor, and you suspected that some of yours might be worse for wear after Rick practically tore them off of you. You didn't mind it though, not when he grabbed the lube and condoms from your bedside table, kissing down your neck and chest and stomach once he had what he needed. His mouth was on you, and his fingers soon joined as he got you ready. It was always important, but even more that night since he would be using the hourglass. The last thing he ever wanted to do was injure you or cause you pain.

Once you were warmed up and needy for him, he put a condom on and finally pushed into you. A groan escaped as you enveloped him nice and tight, and you held onto him at the feeling of being filled. You'd been with a few other peiple before, but being with him was different. You could fully relax because you were completely safe, even with his enhanced strength.

"I'm good," you breathed, your fingers brushing at the hairs at the nape of his neck. You had learned very early on that he liked his hair being played with, and you took every opportunity to do it.

He started a careful pace, just getting a feel for his powers in this very delicate and new situation. He stopped for moment to speak, as he always found his head a little cloudy when fucking you. "If I hurt you, tell me and we'll stop."

"I will. Now please..." You pulled him closer, your lips nearly touching. "Please fuck me."

Your words got to him and soon he was giving you his all. You weren't sure your bed frame could take it like you could as he thrust into you. The room was full of Rick's grunts and your muffled moans, the smacking of your headboard against the wall. The neighbors would probably be glaring at you the next day, but all you could think of right then was the way he plowed you like it was the last thing he would ever do.

He stopped suddenly and you let out a disappointed noise, which he silenced with a kiss as he picked you up without pulling out. He moved so he was standing while you laid with your ass at the edge of the bed, and he thrust into you again. You moaned at the new position and quickly quieted yourself with your hand. It was hard, because the filthy wet noises and the sight of him standing above you only turned you on more.

And Rick felt the same having you bare and open beneath him. He pushed your legs up a bit and continued at the same pace, giving you his all. Because of the hourglass, he wasn't tired or anything. The only reason he was breathing heavily was because you felt so damn good and it was hard to not come right then.

You were getting close, he'd learned the signs months back, so he touched you right where you needed it, keeping the rhythm the same as the movement of his hips. Sensitive and throbbing already, the touch of his hand made you let out a sharp moan as you came hard around him. And a few strokes later, you felt him twitch inside of you as he spilled in the condom, groaning out curses.

He pulled out of you and you couldn't help a breathless laugh at it all as you looked up at him. "I think...that was a success."

Rick smiled back, his face a bright pink as he carefully lowered your legs. "I think so too."

Usually the two of you would have to wait a while before having a second round, but to the shock of you both, he was already hard again. That was the last thing either of you had expected.

And Rick definitely didn't expect you to eagerly reach for the condoms. "We can do a little more experimenting, if you're up for it..."

He kissed you again, giving you his answer.

You weren't sure how long it had been when he pulled out for the last time and carried you to the bathroom to clean up. All the sweat and lube and everything else needed to go and he helped you with that. After all, he was the one who fucked you into soreness and exhaustion.

Once the shower was finished and the sheets were changed, you laid there together, your fingers in his hair even though it was still wet from being washed. The hourglass sat on your nightstand, having already fulfilled its duty for the night. "I'm so happy you were able to put more time on the hourglass."

"Because of the sex?" He asked, holding you close against his side as his thumb rubbed your arm.

"Well yeah, the sex was great as always, but what I mean is...You're my best friend, Rick, and I know how important Hourman is to you."

He stopped moving for a moment, but the gentle touch started up again. "Yeah..." Rick looked down at you for a moment, though he could barely see your face at the angle. "You hungry?"

You hadn't thought much of it before he asked, but he'd helped you work up an apetite. "Very."

"I'll order us something." Rick shifted so he could reach for his phone, but you quickly settled back into his embrace once he moved back and pulled up the contact for your favorite restaurant.

You smiled at the sound of his voice as he ordered, because even though you could easily hook up with other college guys, one night stands didn't sound nearly as nice as spending your nights with Rick, hourglass or not.

Hard decision! I love all of these stories. It's part of the problem, I can't get one finished because I get distracted by my own ideas all of the time. But I think every writer knows that problem all too well. But if I could only keep one of my WIP's it would probably be my multi-chapter Sy fic with the unbelievably creative working title "old friends". As no one could have ever guessed, it's a childhood sweetheart / friends to lovers trope.

I have this story in my WIP folder for almost a year now. Well at least the idea of it. I started it with a different main character, I had already three chapters ready when I decided that this needs to be a Sy story so I had to re-write it all over again. And then I changed things again, and again, and again... But now I'm at a point where I'm really happy with it. Here is a small snippet of one of my favourite scenes I have ever written:

The first thing she noticed when she woke up was that there was way too much light in the room. She hadn’t even opened her eyes yet, and still her head screamed for darkness. Talking about her head,... Amy let out a small groan while pressing her fingers to her temple, rubbing over it in small circles. Considering the state she was in and the lack of memory of how she ended up in her bed, it was probably one drink too much yesterday. Or maybe two or three.

Amy carefully opened one eye and wondered why the hell she was huddled at the edge of her queen size bed. But there was some kind of obstacle behind her back.

That’s when her memory came back.

No! No, no, no, no, no! Amy panicked. ‘Please let this be a dream!’ she thought, but when she groped under the duvet, the obstacle felt warm and soft. Just like she feared. 

She heard a groan, quite similar to the one she let out a few moments earlier. The obstacle moved and finally a face with a deep frown appeared next to her. How the hell could this fucker look so good? Even hungover, half-asleep, he was still the most handsome man she had ever seen. 

Sy opened his eyes and looked directly into Amy’s shocked face. “Fuck!” He pressed his fist on his mouth. Though she thought it would be impossible, Amy felt so much worse after his reaction.

Oeh boy... I like to think I'm funny 😂 and maybe plotting? I've spend a year plotting out Africa, I think it's a pretty strong story that'll play out well, at least I hope... and I'm HOPING it'll make a 2nd read enjoyable because you get to pick up on all the tiny crumbs I've been dropping everywhere and all the foreshadowing will make sense.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Pff everything lol writing in general, it's my first time having a go at it but I've learned a lot already. Being too technical. Maybe too long winded? I could probably cut down like 60% of my fic and no one would miss it but boy do I love the tiny scenes where it's just them having their tiny domestic moments <3

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

listen LISTEN!!!! I don't want to give it away but using a different language as a secret language?! To say what you're feeling but the other doesn't know?! And I remember the days when people were really into a character speaking French because it was "sexy" 😂

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

This one..... Not my first fandom but my first ever try at writing! Always wanted to but this is the fandom where I finally went for it 😁

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

None! Never had any good ideas for a story or had the drive for it

Africa's my favorite ESPECIALLY chapters 4-6. Those are the ones I'm happiest with. That's when stuff starts to get exciting, when the characters are gonna grow closer, let each other in, goof around, walls crumble, part of the mystery unravels, feelings grow deeper. I can't wait to share it.

I finally finished catching up on your stories and I have so many thoughts!

Cora: wow I felt so sad to learn Josh was not Meredith’s biological father but understood why it happened that way. I’m sad to learn that Cora will no longer be a main character anymore ☹️ She’s always been one of the most complex Grimalldis and I was looking forward to seeing her and Josh’s reconciliation arc but am glad you’re open to possibly showing it one day through the Moments Series. Meredith is just the absolute cutest baby though and I’m so glad she’s here! And Cora and Helena’s reconciliation made me cry. They’ve had such a rough journey together but seeing them both finally lay it all out for one another was exactly what I’ve always wanted for them. Such a beautiful scene and the Blue Moon lyrics were the perfect touch. So sentimental ❤️

Chris: I really like his journey so far post-Emi break up. His identity during that relationship always felt dependent on being Emi’s boyfriend so it’s nice to see him on his own figuring out what he wants outside of that relationship. I’m so glad that he’s enjoying being a full time royal and excelling at it 🥺 I was so shocked but happy to see him and Zola run into each other! I enjoyed their interaction so much I can’t wait until she returns and Chris takes over as lead. I think I’ve been converted into a Chriszola fan 🫣

Eleanor: LOVE LOVE LOVE the slow burn between Willanor. It’s been such a long time coming but I’m glad you paced them the way you did because their endgame feels earned. I was SO happy to see that Eleanor finally made the move in Valencia! I honestly am so impressed with how you pose all of your scenes because I really feel that the tension between them comes across in your story posts. Their dating montage post is just adorable and now I miss them haha. They are for sure my favorite couple in your story.

I already love Jk’s mom the moment she gave MC the chocolate that Seojun made. She can “force” feed me delicious food, especially desserts, any day 😌

Aera is definitely suspicious but one of her character "flaws" is that she expects Jungkook and the MC to be like Seojun and Saraí and while his brother and Saraí are very lovey-dovey wherever they are, Aera expects the same from JK and Dae is like uh no? they don't have to be all over each other lol

fun fact: I added her squeal and him hearing it in one of my read-throughs so it wasn't a thing until this week lol but I think it fits them well lol and it's a nice little comical relief 🥰

I do not like being woken up lmao when I was a teen, my family knew better than to wake me because I was grouchy so I would miss out on takeout and whatnot because they knew I'd be upset lol I think I have a lot of grouchy reader inserts so I'm just realizing I do that a lot. whoops!

Yes! It was Seojun and Saraí! JK and MC were too busy kissing to hear them coming into the home and up both sets of stairs 😂 Jungkook was definitely a little miffed they interrupted lmao but at least Seojun was more likely to fall for it now. It's unusual for Jungkook to keep stuff this big from him, so he was a bit suspicious. Saraí is very friendly, she mostly spent the holidays with her family because they always did big events and Seojun would normally go to his parents for a bit and then to her family's home. So Jungkook didn't know her all that well, but she's good at reading people so she was suspicious from the get-go.

Jimin planning his room in the apartment was also added later on lol it seemed to fit his character well and I imagine he will have his own room there until JK and MC need it for their kids, then he'll have an attic game room because he's Jimin and it's hard to say no to him lmao

I LOVE Grandmother Jeon! I wasn't sure how I was going to make her personality at first but it kinda just manifested into what she is now lol Kinda like dog-mom meets lovable grandmother meets Golden Girl lol thank you! that's such a huge compliment about their personalities because it's hard sometimes to make everyone different at times 💜💜💜

Grandmother Jeon loves Luna so much lol she takes her everywhere including her cruise and to the slot machines in her purse. Kinda reminds me of Suga Mama and Puff from The Proud Family lmao Luna is spoiled to bits and leaving her with Jungkook and MC to go on a walk was a major sign of trust on her part

One thing Jimin is going to do is flirt! Seokjin as well lmao he's mostly joking but also maybe not? lmao who knows

Namjoon loves to start chaos and watch it unfold lmao and Yoongi's loves to ruffle feathers. Jungkook's giant snowball was in my head for ages lmao I had to include it

The bed scene! I love a one-bed trope lol I almost let them share a bed in part 1 but then I rethought it and JK went to the couch and that's how Grandmother Jeon ended up mixing up her hotel reservation all leading to the bed trope and them admitting they like each other

I'm so glad you mentioned Jimin asking if MC was free next year lmao he didn't know about them admitting to liking each other and JK was definitely happy he nailed him that GIANT snowball at the park 😂😂😂

Their pillow talk in bed 🥺 they're falling for each other! like it's wild they started all this out just being acquaintances and each other's crush to sharing a bed and falling in love

JK definitely wishes their first time was in his apartment just so he could hear her moans without them being muffled and Grandmother Jeon's room was across the hall from theirs but her and Luna are deep sleepers. Jungkook's parents are further down the hall but they sleep with earbuds in (which isn't 100% safe so I assume their fire alarm also has a phone alert and maybe some lights or vibrations to wake them) but nobody heard them 👀👀👀

Grandmother Jeon loved her husband so much! But she continues to live her life to the fullest for herself and for him. She loves spending time with her friends, Luna, and the slot machines. She doesn't take herself too seriously, and she may be a flirt but she has no real interest in pursuing a relationship at the moment. She loves having the freedom to go where she wants, when she wants at the drop of a dime

Ah, Jimin and his mouth lmao it came later to me that Grandmother Jeon would already know about the scheme but I didn't know how she would find out, and then boom! Jimin is a talked, he's home for the holidays, and so is Grandmother Park and she DOTES on her baby and Jimin gets a loose tongue when he's being spoiled with affection and homemade pie. He genuinely thought she'd forget, but Grandmother Park loves a good gossip session with her bestie Grandmother Jeon when she's in town 😂

I love a good happy ending :) and they definitely tattled on Jimin the moment they could lmao they were fucked from the start and didn't even knot it. However, Grandmother Jeon adores her grandkids and their partners so she's happy to gift them a home to get them started. I think she would have done so regardless but JK's relationship was definitely a push to get things going.

I think the snowball scene was good to wrap things up and bring in the boys one more time before the end since they were such a huge part of the scheme lol

JK was elated to make it official 😍😍😍 that boy is in LOVE!

Recently I also read over another novel I've written and....... I'm not content💀💀, so I want to rewrite almost the entire thing sometime. (That actually made me feel a little discouraged and down about my writing for some time and I'm still recovering from writer's block from it. I had high hopes for that novel and turns out, every single line I've read made me wanna pull my hair out. But there are scenes in there that hold great potential, so it just needs reconstruction.)

AND I'm in the middle of writing the first draft of yet another novel. Idk how that's gonna go. I have a great idea in my head, I just need to get it on paper. I dropped it for some time, because I was loosing track of my characters a bit, but now I've picked it up again.

But that doesn't mean I'm ignoring your fics🩷🩷💜💜💜💜💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 Every fic I have received will be written. These past few days, my writing was odd. Like- I wanted to write, yet I couldn't get myself to sit down and do it and when I finally did it, I couldn't really see myself in my writing. It didn't feel like "me" and I wasn't content with many of the things I've written and now I've got a bunch of "rolled up and thrown in the trash" fics.

You can totally go ahead and cheat picking as many as you want, specially since you've chosen two of my favorite stories! Writing them made me so happy at the time and I've reread from time to time just to enjoy myself, because I love those couples and how the fics turned out.

First, it is not a secret Run to You was inspired by this line from Prince Hamid when he is biding goodbye to MC after they've met in book1, chapter5 (and we were totally robbed from actually having them ever dancing during the Season! Can you imagine how fun going to a ball with this man would be when MC is not engaged to someone else? All the flirting and games and just him being cute and romantic? 🥰):

I couldn't find the original *word file from my first draft, but I remember the story changed a lot until the final draft. It was only later that I decided to write it in Hamid's POV, and not MC's. Some ideas came from deleted scenes and dialogues from the series The Pursuit of Happiness and it would be just a cute scene in a ball, that would start with Lady Elizabeth eagerly searching for him and Hamid observing her. I got so carried away writing it that I almost ruined the timeline from the series, because I was **this close** to writing a first kiss for them in the garden! and even considered having a different MC for this story to not mess with the other story, but I personally think it works better with Lady Elizabeth how it is. I liked that aside from the cute interactions between the two, I could address some issues that are important in their relationship and the struggles both face, like the prejudice a natural daughter suffers, and his doubts about ever being suited to marry a woman of such station.

The one thing I regret to this day and only realised was missing after I've posted was not bringing the rose back in the last scene. The rose is a symbol of their love in canon, and as a symbol of his hope, I should have brought it back in the end. It would be so much better if he had picked it up from the ground in the last minute and kept it in his pocket the entire evening, because Hamid is a hopeful romantic; and the idea of putting it in Lady Elizabeth's hair after he carries her to the carriage or just leaving it for her to find after he was gone would have been cuter and made the scene better to end with the reference from the beginning...

As for If I Fell, most of it came from deleted scenes from Second Chances that were not that important to the plot atm and random ideas: one was a scene of the two riding bikes and it followed the chapter of their date; and the other came from a few short scenes when Hamid was taking Elizabeth to places like the Brazilian shop and a club where she could swim, like mentioned in the chapter they had lunch with her father and Sinclaire, and it was mostly Hamid pining over her.

This one-shot was first named Swept her off her feet and was not only supposed to be cute, but important to show and not just tell a little about Elizabeth and Hamid's routine of going to the park together to exercise, and how she's increasingly infatuated despite her efforts to deny it. It makes it clear they are growing closer and she is not exactly comfortable, but despite her doubts, she decides to share things with him even if he would find her silly - like having "ugly feet" or the magpies verses... The "feet talk" was slightly different, Hamid woube be very suggestive about another part of his anatomy 😏 to Elizabeth's shock. So I'm sharing with you the deleted dialogues from an earlier draft:

“Perhaps you just have huge feet too.” “Well, you know what they say: the bigger the feet...” he trailed off with a mischievous grin. “Dude!” “What?” he feigned confusion, and then pretended to be scandalised by what she implied. “What a dirty mind, Miss Foredale! I just meant that big feet are good, give you balance; having disturbingly tiny feet and you’ll fall face first, which is not good at all." “Alright,” she nodded meeting his stare. “But you’re not wrong about that. I can confirm in my case at least. I don’t know if this is a scientific fact but –” “I don’t need to know that!” she cut him off, and he chuckled. “Really? I thought that was the kind of inside knowledge girls usually want to ask their male friends...” She shook her head wide-eyed and looked away. “Perhaps Faiza is right and Hande is strange...”

Talking to a friend at the time, I've realised it would be better not to imply anything like that and invest in a different kind of humour. Hamid is smart enough to try and charm Elizabeth and not only scandalise her... and the scene worked better without it.

The suggestion from another friend who was my beta to this fic, also made me change how Hamid carried Elizabeth after she injuries her ankle. I had doubts and had him first carrying her bride style, but it was just too awkward for her to be in that position in public... there was too much tension... so when Hamid carries her in his back, the whole atmosphere of the scene instantly changed and there was room for improvement. Suddenly, it was lighter and funny, and even if there is still tension and romance in the air, it also shows how much more they have going on for them besides attraction. I tried to portray their chemistry and their bond, and humor is important in this equation.
