Thoughts and pictures - S3E1
So after digesting my first watch a little bit, I'm starting my rewatch of this season and I'll share a few thoughts and reactions (and screenshots) because I can't keep it all to myself 😱
I was happy that we dived directly into the (sort of) trial and confrontation between Wilhelm, Simon and August. I do wonder how much time passed between the speech and this scene though. It sets the tone for the entire season for Wilhelm: he's gonna be alone, with no support whatsoever from his parents. He enters the room alone, his parents arrive after him and his mother doesn't even look at him... Simon arrives with his mother and August with his stepdad. But Wilhelm has to deal with the situation alone (aka how to get incredibly mad at Kristina barely 5min into the season 😤)
Tumblr media
Simon looks so pretty and so sad. (And how did Omar manage to look even younger this season??) He wants to be done with this whole thing. Also I checked but 1.2 millions kronor is not as much as I thought it would be (it's apparently around 107 000€, which is not bad, but I was expecting more)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I see what you did there Simon 😏 (Can someone gif this scene and put it in parallel with Wilhelm seeing Simon's room for the first time and saying "cozy" in season 1? :p)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The boys coming back to the meeting: very smooth. Nobody knows what you were doing. Nop. Not at all. (We can see Linda kinda smirking when Simon sits back whereas Kristina looks like she just ate a very sour lemon). Wilhelm arranging his hair and Simon smiling at him: they might be in the middle of an important meeting and at the Palace but they're still 2 teenage boys in love (and I love them for that 💜)
Rickard looked and sounded like such an idiot in the previous seasons that I didn't expect him to actually be competent! But I guess we were mostly seeing him through August's eyes... I know Rickard said he was the best lawyer in the country but I have to admit that I thought he was just bragging ^^' Also: August is such an asshole. Did he really need to rile up Wilhelm like that? He's got quite the confidence to attack him and tell him how he just fuck things up on his own, in front of everyone like that, including the queen. Who, again, is not defending her son!! She tells them to shut up but she says nothing to August for talking like that to her son 😠
Tumblr media
(They look like they've been called to the principal office). Kristina doesn't look at them immediately, she looks at Erik's picture on her desk first. Then she looks at August. And then finally at Wilhelm. She is so awful to him this season... Right from the start. And then she breaks down crying for Erik.
Tumblr media
While Wilhelm holds her. I wasn't expecting to see her grieve so much this season. We didn't see that at all in season 2. Is it because she repressed all of her emotions too much? I hate that she breaks down like that just after Wilhelm publicly coming out. How can she not be there for him. I get that it must be hard to lose a son, but she still has a very alive one, who needs her.
Tumblr media
Kristina is not getting redeemed in this season but Linda kinda is! I was super happy to see her get in mama bear's mode at the trial ^^ It was about time!! But here: I'm sorry Linda but it's not your son's role to keep you updated about what's going on in your house! You're the mother! Stop putting everything on this kid's shoulders!! Maybe he never tells you but do you ever ask??
Tumblr media
Simon being truly angry at Sara is so good. I am so happy so he's able to feel that way and to not feel like he has to repress it, to forgive her, to help her. She did something truly bad and he's allowed to be mad. Also look at his angry lil' face 💜
Tumblr media
In things that made me laugh: Wilhelm's reaction and face to learning that Simon is grounded all semester xD He was talking all smoothly/flirty and then his tone changes so dramatically when he realizes he won't be able to get his boyfriend in his bed very soon! Horny boy is horny (and frustrated :p)
Tumblr media
This faaaaaace ☹
I'm happy to see that Simon still has Ayub and Rosh here to support him. I wish they would have told him that replying to comments online was a bad idea though. You know the saying kids: don't feed the trolls!!
Wilhelm looks like such a normal teenager when he gets back to his room. First time we see him so carefree. It breaks my heart to know that on the other side Simon is so unwell already.
Tumblr media
Wilhelm waking up happy and smiling. And being just a teenager (for the first time in a very long time): thinking about his boyfriend, redrawing the heart on his hand. It's such teenager things!! My boy just wants to have a normal life... (And then he's immediately reminded that he's actually not just a regular teenager with Farima's text).
Tumblr media
Simon's worried face when he asks about Wilhelm's initiation. You can see he's truly horrified at the idea that he might have gone through what's been described in the article.
Tumblr media
And then it starts: the piling up of everything on Wilhelm's shoulders. First his mother looking really unwell and breaking down (even though she hasn't been said to be officially ill yet), and now the negative impact of his speech on the school... Which Vincent takes great pleasure in reminding him about.
This first episode is really good at setting things in motion. We see already the beginning of what's gonna go down during this season: Simon not feeling well, dealing with online hatred, struggling with his new place next to Wilhelm in the spotlight. And Wilhelm trying to finally live a carefree life at school with his boyfriend now that he's officially out but slowly getting crushed under the pressure of his role as Crown Prince and the increasingly obvious lack of support from his parents.

Hi! What are your favourite scenes from season 1, 2 and 3? :)
Oh God 😭 an impossible question! I'll do my best!
S1) my only certain answer: the football field. Literally cinematic. One of the most emotionally impactful moments I've ever seen on screen from the moment Simon picked up the call. I think it's my favorite moment in the whole show.
S2) So I have an unpopular opinion, which is that S2 is my favorite season. (I have my reasons I swear.) But somehow that makes it even harder. The Valentine's ball kiss comes to mind, as does Simon and Wille's locker room fight. As painful as the latter was, the acting, the tension, and everything about it were so incredible and showed both Edvin and Omar's growth as actors since S1. (Last honorable mention: my soul left my body when Wille spat on August 🙈)
S3) I cried the hardest when the Hillerska choir sang Simon's song. Of course I have to say the final scene / car chase though. The rest of the time I was either screaming at my screen or feeling intense dread, with brief pauses for sweet moments.
I didn't give you concrete answers, I did my best!! Thank you for the ask! 💜

Hi! How about 1, 3 and 9 for the YR secondary character ask game?
01. Favorite secondary character
Sara. She is so interesting and complex and her arc from beginning to end is my favorite in the show, it was done so well.
03. Favorite platonic friendship
Felice and Sara. It has been said before but I love how their friendship is treated and considered so important. And I love seeing their journey from reluctant horse-sharers to best friends. It's so sweet and relatable to see how much Sara craves friendship and is so happy when she connects with Felice and actually gains her own best friend, something I think has been said or implied she never had before.
09. Favorite non-Edmar actor
Idk if it's meant as favourite person or favourite acting besides Edvin or Omar but my favourite acting has to be Malte and/or Frida. They are such incredible performers and the way they play those characters with all their depths is so amazing. Especially Malte deserves so much recognition for the way he plays August, how he can be such a slimy douchebag but also portray his vulnerable and insecure side and he nails it all and makes it so fascinating to watch him. I saw them both in Fejk as well and I love seeing them in more different roles.
Also shoutout to Felicia, she plays the 'mean girl' that also yearns and pines for her best friend so well. And she is also an incredible actor outside of YR where she gets to show off her acting abilities even better imo.

Hi! How about 2, 18 and 27 for the YR asks?
Thanks for the ask! ☺️
2 Who is your favorite character?
Wille. Hands down. I think the whole show only works because he’s written so empathetically. He makes some… questionable choices. But I’m still always rooting for him! I like that he’s complicated and messy and has grown so much.
Lots of the characters are great, and some are incredible, but he’s my favourite.
18 What's an unpopular opinion you hold about the show or a character?
At first, I really didn’t like the zoom effect in s2 e1 at the party. It’s grown on me a bit because I can’t not be fond of everything about this show. But I’m still not it’s biggest fan 🫣
27 Who is your favorite actor on YR?
After season 1 I think I’d have said Edvin, but after season 2 I might be changing it to Omar. But my answer to that might also change each day 😅. But it’d be one of those two, because their chemistry is off the charts and is the exact reason I can’t stop watching. And they’re also exceptionally good at emotional acting without words.

For Vogue Scandinavia's inaugural digital cover story, we capture the candid camaraderie of the cast of Young Royals. Edvin, Nikita, Malte, Frida and Omar discuss their off-screen relationships, the whirlwind rise to stardom and the much-anticipated next season of the Netflix series
The cast of Young Royals are sitting around a long table at a hip restaurant in Södermalm. Someone shouts out a request for “Vi ska aldrig gå hem” by Molly Sandén and when it comes, as if by magic, blaring through the speakers, the whole gang sings along. Omar Rudberg, looking dapper in a matching printed Louis Vuitton fit, stands and raises his glass of sparkling wine in a toast.
They appear like any group of young, especially attractive, well-dressed friends catching a celebratory meal together, save for the snap of our photographer’s camera. Still, the vibes are not for show; the camaraderie between this group – the gentle teasing, the easy laughs, the hugs and cuddles – is palpable.
It has been over a year since Young Royals season one landed on Netflix, forever changing the lives of its stars. The story of a Swedish prince who falls in love with another boy at boarding school was a modern conceit, to be sure, but in the wrong hands it could have easily come and gone as another unremarkable teen drama. No one, least of all the cast, could have predicted the explosive response to the series.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I remember the engagement beforehand was pretty low,” notes Edvin Ryding, who plays the aforementioned Prince Wilhelm. There was a simmering excitement among a select few (he recalls one comment that read, simply, “Looks gay, I’m in!”), but the overall anticipation was nothing noteworthy.
To say that things changed within a day would be inaccurate. In fact, things changed after just six hours, the total runtime of season one. That’s when the comments, fan reaction videos and, perhaps most notably, Instagram followers started to roll in at an almost alarming rate. “It still never ceases to amaze me,” Ryding says. “People are still discovering it.”
"I REMEMBER THAT HE LAID DOWN ON ME, ON MY LEGS, LOOKING UP AND I STARTED TOUCHING HIS HAIR. AND I JUST REMEMBER THINKING, ‘OH SHIT, THIS DUDE IS SO GOOD."
-Omar Rudberg
Season two is set to reignite Young Royals mania (though, incredibly, the mania has barely subsided). We pick up with our beloved characters heading back to fictional boarding school Hillerska, reeling from the events of last season. Wilhelm and his love interest, Simon (Rudberg), navigate their “breakup” while the prince seeks revenge on his own cousin, arrogant bad guy August (played with aplomb by Malte Gårdinger). Dramatics, temper tantrums and raucous party scenes ensue.
In the meantime, Ryding and his co-stars – Rudberg, Nikita Uggla, Gårdinger and Frida Argento – have had time to digest the insanity of their experience. It’s been a strange year, in which the cast went from regular adolescents to regulars on Sweden’s biggest red carpets. There have been brand sponsorships and modelling gigs. International magazine covers and swanky fashion dinners. On the flip side, there has been high school (Ryding) and summer jobs (Uggla and Argento).
Tumblr media
The whirlwind began, as many star-making stories do, with a series of auditions. “I had the worst experience before I got to the casting,” Rudberg recalls. “I couldn’t find the place – I went the wrong way.” He arrived to the audition five minutes late, sweaty and stressed out. Rudberg was no stranger to the spotlight; he first rose to fame as a member of One Direction-esque Swedish boy band FO&O at age 14 and currently enjoys a thriving career as a solo artist. However, he was brand new to acting, adding an extra layer of anxiety.
And there he was, Ryding, already sitting in the audition room. “We didn’t even have time to say hi,” says Rudberg. “I just sat next to him and we started.” At 18, Ryding has had more audition experience than most; he’s been working steadily as an actor in Swedish films and television series since he was just six years old.
“I remember that he laid down on me, on my legs, looking up and I started touching his hair,” says Rudberg. “And I just remember thinking, ‘Oh shit, this dude is so good.” From that moment, he “just felt it’s going to be us”.
Rudberg was hardly the only actor considered. Even Gårdinger, who wound up playing August, Wilhelm’s villainous cousin, originally went in for Simon (“I’m pretty tall, it wouldn’t have worked,” Gårdinger says). Ryding met “a few Simons” throughout his audition process. “It was weird,” he says. “I think one of them was an extra later on.” But from that first audition with Rudberg, Ryding agrees that they “just clicked”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After the audition, Rudberg sent Ryding a DM, asking if they could meet up for coffee. “I instantly wanted to become friends with him,”Rudberg says. They kept in touch. Eventually, while at Central Station in Stockholm, Ryding got the call offering him the role of Wilhelm. “I was like, ‘Oh my god, oh my god, yes! Finally!’” he recalls. About a month later, Rudberg was offered Simon.
“It was a done deal the first time I saw them together during the casting process,” says Rojda Sekersöz, who directed several episodes of season one. “I think chemistry is not something magical that just appears from nowhere. It appears when you're brave enough to open up your energy field to someone else, and the other person does the same and you hold hands and dance together.”
"THIS IS LIKE COUPLES THERAPY"
-Edvin Ryding
Fans held a similar sentiment. The response to – or rather, obsession with – Ryding and Rudberg’s on-screen romance is at the heart of Young Royals’ runaway success. It’s an obsession that’s supported by their flourishing off-screen friendship, occasionally alluded to via social media. Heading into season two, they’re both pushing two million Instagram followers.
Not since Norway’s Skam, in 2015, has a Scandinavian teen series – and its emerging stars – had such global impact. And while Skam was certainly an international phenomenon, it was also, at the time, relatively challenging to watch outside of Norway. Local super-fans would meticulously put English subtitles on each episode, before making the subtitled content available for not-so-legal download. Young Royals, in addition to being well-written, gorgeously acted and stunningly visualised, is backed up by the phenomenal power of Netflix. In November, season two will launch globally on the streaming platform to 221 million users in over 190 countries.
Tumblr media
While the co-leads’ post-show blow-up has been the most extreme, it is an experience shared by the entire main cast. “When the Instagram followers started to roll in, I didn’t check my Instagram so much,” says Uggla. “It was kind of scary in the beginning.” The 21-year-old actress, who plays Felice, the super posh cool girl with a heart of gold, nearly missed her opportunity to audition. The casting department had been sending requests for a self-tape to her old email. Eventually, they gave her a call instead. “Thank god my number was the same,” she says.
Soon, Uggla was on the train from her tiny hometown in Skåne to an in-person audition in Stockholm. While she wasn’t necessarily what series creator and head writer Lisa Ambjörn had envisioned for Felice, the young actress was a revelatory surprise. “We really struggled finding the perfect actor for that role,” says Ambjörn. "Nikita came in and just gave her this calm comfortableness that highlighted Felice’s insecurities and issues in a refreshing way."
Though she now lives in Stockholm, when season one dropped, Uggla was back in Skåne, waitressing. It was her older brothers who kept tabs on their sister’s growing celebrity. “I see the family group chat and my brothers were like, ‘Oh my god, you have, like, 20,000 followers,’” Uggla says. “No wait, it’s going up. Now you have 80,000.”
Tumblr media
It was bizarre at first, trying to decipher if people were staring because they recognised her from the show or if they were staring because she was “doing something weird”. But eventually Uggla settled into her new reality. Soon she was doing front-facing TikToks, in which she interacts with fans directly, taking on select brand sponsorships (among them, sustainable shoe brand Toms) and even walking the runway for Ganni during Copenhagen Fashion Week. “It was an experience I never would have dreamed of,” she says of her runway debut. “Walking in a fashion show? That’s crazy to me.”
For Uggla, her purpose goes beyond simply enjoying (and capitalising on) her big moment. Growing up, she didn’t have many role models she could relate to. “Beyoncé and Rihanna were the only two black people I could see on TV,” she says (coincidentally, Rihanna is Rudberg’s long-time role model, too). “I want to be that person that people can look up to.” She often speaks candidly about self-confidence, self-love and body positivity on her platforms. “Let’s be honest, I don’t look like most of the influencers you see on social media,” she says. “I just want to make sure the fans are seeing different types of women.”
On set, Uggla has found a best friend in Argento, who plays Simon’s introverted sister, Sara. Their relationship blossomed, much like it does in season one, over horses. In the show, Sara and Felice become unlikely friends as the former, who works in the boarding school’s stables, teaches the latter to ride. “We had training alone sometimes, with the horses,” says Argento. “That’s when we really bonded.” Uggla recalls venting to Argento about an impending breakup with her then-boyfriend on the car rides to and from horse training. Today, a picture of the duo is the background on Uggla’s iPhone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Argento came into the cast late, after the originally-cast Sara dropped out during pre-production. She’s quick to point out that while her life has certainly been altered by Young Royals, it isn’t as though she’s living in the lap of Hollywood luxury. “I saw a page where it said my net worth was, like, one million dollars,” she says, laughing at the absurdity of the notion. While she will attend the odd fashion event (with Uggla, usually) she generally shies away from opportunities beyond her craft. “I love acting, but I don't really love to be the centre of attention,” she says, adding that the initial boost in Instagram followers made her “scared as f***”.
“In the beginning, it was really exciting to get things for free,” Argento admits. “You were getting paid to post and things like that. But I found myself getting anxious doing it and didn’t like it, because it felt so fake.” She doesn’t judge others for taking advantage of these sorts of opportunities – she’ll even dabble herself, on rare occasions. Between seasons, she worked at a pizzeria.
If Argento is a little bit disinterested in the trappings of fame, Gårdinger, whose father Pontus Gårdinger is a well-known Swedish actor and presenter, is even less interested. When the first season came out, he was in the countryside, so he “didn’t really get the hype”. “I saw the followers and was like, ‘Oh, OK, that’s unexpected, but I’ll take it’,” he says. However, when he returned to Stockholm, things got “a bit weird”. “In the beginning, I was a bit more nervous than the people that were coming up to me.”
Tumblr media
By now, Young Royals fans know that Gårdinger, 22, could not be further from the often- obnoxious high-schooler he plays on-screen. “I thought that people were going to hate me pretty hard when the show came out,” he says. “But they pretty quickly saw the differences.” The word his castmates lovingly use to describe him is “goofy”. “He’s just a sweet little bunny,” says Rudberg. Gårdinger is “not a big Instagram guy”. He doesn’t check his DMs – he hardly checks his emails.
Ryding tells me he’s taking a breather from social media as well. “I get very affected,” he says. “It doesn’t have to be in a negative way, I just realised it takes up a lot of my time.” The youngest in the main cast, Ryding spent his time between seasons back at high school. In an experience that mirrors that of Prince Wilhelm, Ryding immediately felt all eyes on him. “It was pretty meta,” he says. “It was a bit difficult to cope with – that was supposed to be my free zone.”
There are upsides, of course. I first met Ryding and Rudberg at a Prada dinner in Stockholm around this time last year. The season one hype was at a fever pitch and they were both enjoying the moment. I’ve run into them a handful of times since, sometimes together, sometimes not – at a Cartier party, a VMANdinner, at the Cannes film festival. A year later, it’s not as if anyone is shying away from the spotlight – we’re on set with Vogue, after all – they’ve just learned to set boundaries and navigate the madness a bit better. “Omar has taught me a lot about the right to say no,” says Ryding.
Tumblr media
And when they need that bit of extra support, they turn to each other. “We’ve gotten so close. We all went through the exact same thing with blowing up and being recognised,” says Argento. “That would have been hard to do alone.” When Uggla sees her castmates, she always does the “real check-ins”. She’ll ask, “How are you?” And then, “But how are you really?”
The family-like dynamic of the cast is confirmed by the show’s creator. “Even if everything hasn’t been completely free of friction – no relationships are and film sets are very stressful – I think it’s the genuine care between them all that has turned them into a very tight-knitted group off-camera,” says Ambjörn, noting that they manage to be “kind and funny towards each other every step of the way”. “To me, that’s truly magical and beautiful.”
I catch Ryding and Rudberg sitting away from the group, eating the photo-friendly lunch that was prepared for the shoot, and join them at their table. I tell them I want to get all the real dirt, for the fans. “For the last time, we are nota couple,” jokes Rudberg. Still, they’re in fairly constant communication, texting, calling, sending random Snapchats (recently, Rudberg sent an unprompted Snap of a squirrel). They’ll text to ask each other what they’re wearing to an event, or how long they plan on staying. Normal stuff, really.
Tumblr media
There’s been just one downside to this closeness. It emerged while filming season two, during their romantically- charged scenes (which, let’s face it, is any scene in which the duo appears together). “We were going to do these scenes that were dramatic, and we couldn’t do it,” says Ryding. “In the beginning, we would just laugh.”
The thing they admire most in each other? “You project self-confidence,” Ryding says to Rudberg. “And you trust yourself and you stand up for what you think is right, no matter what.” Rudberg admires Ryding’s “hard work.” “You’re really a hard worker,” he says.
“This is like couples therapy,” says Ryding. “I like Omar’s curls.”
If one member of the cast is most ready, willing and prepared to embrace the hype, it’s Rudberg. Miraculously, despite his soaring music career and starring role in a hit Netflix series, he remains almost impossibly sweet. He’s here for all of it – the followers, the increased attention on his music, the fashion. “I’m sitting here wearing Louis Vuitton,” he says, smiling. “That’s crazy.”

Thoughts on Season 2 after my first full rewatch of both Seasons.
Hello My Loves!!
I have finished my first complete rewatch of both Seasons and I have A LOT of thoughts! I LOVE THIS SHOW. As I watched it all the way through, I was completely blown away (once again) by the beauty, the complexity, the thoughtfulness of YR; it is PERFECTION 🫀
For me, the differences, especially in how the two Seasons look and feel are just part of what makes this show such a masterpiece. I adore that Season 1 and Season 2 have different feelings; they are telling different stories and they make us feel as if we are part of that story too. The differences, to me, made it feel as if we are living the story with them; we are longing for the same things, our hearts are breaking with them, we are rejoicing with them. Season 1 is the story of these two boys falling in love, and the world tearing them apart. Season 2 is a story of their heartbreak and longing. It is about these two boys choosing their love and choosing each other despite the rest of the world. I honestly hope that Season 3 feels different once again.
I had many more thoughts and lots more to say as usual so, if you are interested, enjoy my ramblings below the cut!
In a lot of ways, in Season 1, Wille did chose his love for Simon; in Season 2 he had to learn what that actually meant. He had to learn that sometimes part of truly loving someone is wanting them to have what they want and what they need, even if that means not being a part of their life. By letting Simon go, Wille once again chose his love for Simon above all else.
In Season 1, Simon didn't really chose to love Wille; this Season he learned what Wille truly means to him and he began to understand just what being with Wille actually means (although I think that they are both in for a shock surrounding all of this, assuming we get a Season 3...). In Season 2, Simon chose Wille, chose their love, now that he knows what it truly meant to him to lose Wille.
Don't get me wrong, I longed for more Wilmon content this season just as much as everyone else, but isn't that part of the point of this Season? Wille and Simon are apart; they are missing each other, they are longing for each other, they are angry and sad that they are apart and so are we. We are given only fleeting moments of them, because they only had fleeting moments with each other. Despite everything that happened, they were literally apart until like 10 minutes before the end of the Season, so of course it wasn't enough and I think that was how it was supposed to feel: to me, as much as it hurt, it was a part of the beauty.
One of the things I love about YR is how masterfully they have always had us, as the viewer, feel like part of the story (through the 4th wall breaks, but also through how it is filmed). This Season ramped that up to a whole new level for me. The way the camera followed characters, followed what they were looking at, the way it changed based on what the characters were feeling, etc. It truly made it feel like we were part of their story, and thus, we also longed for things that we don't get.
This for me, held true with Simon/Marcus and Wille/Felice. Yes, it feels wrong and is a little cringy to watch Wille and Simon with other people because that is how it is supposed to feel; that is how it feels to them. Neither of them actually want to be with anyone else or to move on; they just want to stop hurting.
I also really liked that Malte, Frida and Nikita got so much screen time this season. Omar and Edvin are incredible and deserve all the praise in the world and I could watch them indefinitely, AND I really liked getting to see just what Malte, Frida and Nikita could do when given such complex stories to work with. Regardless of your feelings about Sara/August and Wille/Felice, it did show off their talent as actors!
I think that (assuming there will be a Season 3, which feels kind of like a definite at this point 🤷🏽‍♀️) the amount of time put into the Sara/August storyline will be important. I think that understanding that the love between Sara and August was real (even if it was misguided, and selfish) is going to be vital to understanding their motivations and actions. I also think that it is important that this storyline takes so much time away from Wille and Simons storylines; the actions of Sara and August are actively hurting them, and by extension us. Just one of the many poetic things about YR.
I also feel like everything with Sara is the such beautiful poetic justice for August (although I am certain more is coming his way, as it should). One of the first real things we learn about August is that he is a creep who treats women like shit, so I love that he got his heart broken and he got betrayed by one of the women he was trying to use.
This season really did feel a bit like there were 5 main characters, and I LOVED that 🫀 I also really like that we got to see so many of the "side" characters be more developed; they all felt important. As someone who watches many many many times, I adore having new details about so many of the people in this world.
The music in Season 1 was so incredible, and yet, this Season blew it out of the park for me. Every song was a perfect song and a perfect choice for the moment/scene. I felt the same way about the scene changes/"montages"; they were phenomenal in Season 1, and yet, somehow they were even better this Season.
I also really loved that it looked a bit crisper and brighter (maybe this was because of budget, or maybe it was a deliberate choice). To me it made it feel as if the way that Wille and Simon see and experience the world has changed. They themselves view things differently and are changing as people; the dream is now gone. They are no longer falling in love, they are no longer enjoying the peace and the excitement that came with just being together. Now they are apart and faced with the much more harsh reality of their lives and of their worlds. Even when they are around each other, it is without hope. There is never a feeling of "soft, golden light" because that was taken from them when the video was posted. They do not get to experience a happy and "in love" feeling this Season, so why would we?
I honestly hope Season 3 feels different from these two as well. Season 1 was them falling in love. Season 2 was them learning that they aren't willing to live without each other. I want Season 3 to be them in love, and facing the world together.
Maybe it is just because at my core I am kind of dark and twisty, but now that I have watched it enough times to become slightly desensitised to the pain and anguish of Season 2, I have discovered that I love it all the more because of the longing, because of the sorrow, because of the deep anguish. To me a large part of what make YR perfection is that we feel what the characters are feeling; to me, this Season did this with the same mastery as Season 1. Yes, this Season hurt more than Season 1 because they were hurting more than in Season 1, and that was perfect and bittersweet in its own way. The agony feels so real and so raw it makes the last few moments of pure joy and relief feel all the more visceral and life affirming; this show truly is perfection 🫀

i rewatched episode 6 (i like to torture myself) and the scene of wille getting ready to give the statement. it absolutely kills me. how he's so anxious and alone, yet pulls himself together and makes himself do it, does what's expected of him. maybe he thinks it'll be okay, because it's the only way. it'll be even worse if he doesn't do it. and after he puts himself through it, it does get worse 😭
i would love to hear what your favourite scenes are, acting wise!
okay anon i also just rewatched ep 6 also and i am in pain 💔god that build up to him giving the statement, the way his whole resolve just drops in the car as his mum talks him into denying it – the worse thing is like, we know he doesn't believe that it was the only way – we know that he thought that he was going to be able to talk his mum around and get her to understand...
now the acting. this may get hella rambley so i'm going to shove it under the cut because i know the majority of my followers won't care lol <3
edvin's approach to wilhelm's anxiety is most likely my favourite acting aspect of the entire show – it's incredibly nuanced for someone of his age (not in a condescending way bc there's only like 5 years between us lol but like, you hardly see that degree of detail in a way that isn't over played or presented rather than experienced by seasoned Adult Actors). i know he's mentioned previously that it's something he relates to which is very clear in how personalised his work is. when we see wilhelm experience high anxiety it's honest to the moment because it's grounded in truth. he's connected it with his own anxiety and not in a way that lets his own experience do the work (which is method and that's 👎imo) but that it informs the decisions and motions wilhelm goes through in the scenes.
one of my favourite scenes where we see his anxiety manifest is in the scene in episode 5 where wilhelm tells him that he doesn't want to lose him.
Tumblr media
the way he's clearly so distressed at the idea of losing simon that you can hear the emotion in his voice from the beginning of the conversation but as the scene goes on, his resolve begins to crumble and the anxiety he's been holding back comes to the surface when they hug. the way edvin let the anxiety inform the scene rather than direct the scene was so impressive – we can see and feel wilhelm's emotions but they don't take over the scene. omar plays wonderfully off them also and the hug they share is heart wrenching.
Tumblr media
another scene i find myself rewatching over and over is the one where he confronts august in episode 6. immediately when wilhelm walks into the room you can feel the anger and fury radiate off of him. i really love how it wasn't approached as this huge screaming confrontation – whilst his definitely does yell at him (deservingly so) it again doesn't overpower the emotional drive behind the dialogue. wilhelm isn't just angry here – he's heartbroken.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
august was one of wilhelm's last proper connections to erik – we know wilhelm looks up and trust's erik's judgements more so than anyone else so to be betrayed by that, by someone erik loved so much, it's heartbreaking. he was told he could trust him, he was told he would do right by him and he was wrong. all of this pain wilhelm is going through his partly because the queen wants to protect erik's legacy and give his death meaning, and here august completely spat upon it all. edvin does a phenomenal job w the line deliveries, they're clear and devastating and cut right to the heart.
i was going to end the post here, but i'm going to quickly highlight omar's work in The Break Up scene because they both work off of each other beautifully.
Tumblr media
there is such a quiet devastation to omar's line delivery here - simon's clearly heartbroken but he's determined to stand up for himself and stand his ground (i just realised that maybe he took sara's words about letting people piss on him truly to heart). the dialogue comes out slowly and not in a way that drags or is over played for the drama, but for the audience to truly understand how difficult it is for simon to say these things AND how important it is for wilhelm to hear them.
i'm now going to end the post otherwise it's gonna get super long lol and i'm not even sure who else is going to read this but! the acting on this show is phenomenal (particularly from these two) and i could probably write many, many posts about it! it's only been a week since i first watched it and i've watched it through maybe 4 or 5 times since then because i can't get enough of the acting. it's truly something special.
thanks for asking anon! ❤️

okay i know we’re all freaking out over s2 and discussing a lot of what we didn’t like (😣) but also all i can kinda think about is i feel bad for omar & edvin & the cast bc they seemed so excited for and proud of this season & they all DELIVERED, they were incredible actors and scene partners and O & E truly kept wilmon alive but all they’re gonna see is all of our disappointments :((

Discovering Young Royals
Tumblr media
So now that I've lurked a bit around the Young Royals fandom I wanna try and be a bit more active ^^ It feels a bit weird to arrive so late because it seems like everything has probably already been said >< So I hope my little thoughts here and there won't just be redundant for fandom people! I've been thinking about it and I think I wanna write my thoughts, and questions and various comments about the show, probably going episode by episode! And I'll add some pretty pictures (I should learn how to make gifs :o)
For tonight though I'll just write up kind of my first thoughts and reactions while watching the show for the first time ^^
ᴥ I'm not proud of admitting it but I started watching the show because I was a bit bored, a bit sick and wanted to kind of "hate-watch" something >< I thought it would be a very elitist kind of show with insufferable royal people! Boy was I wrong...
ᴥ Wilhelm is a cutie pie and made me love the show so much, almost right from the start. His image of angry teenage prince got replaced so fast by just the reality of an anxious (soft) boy, in the span of an episode! His interaction with Simon at the end of episode 1 sealed the deal for me...
ᴥ The show is so so so well made!! It's beautiful and the music is absolutely phenomenal!! All the young actors are incredibly talented (and gosh is Edvin so very good ><) and it's just such a pleasure to watch :o
ᴥ I love love love how "real" it feels!! The actors look the good age for their characters, they look so fucking real, like I 100% believe that these characters are teenagers! I love the choice of not putting lots of make up on them and letting them keep their "real" skin. It's so freaking refreshing!! I don't really know of other shows who do that!! (Also I come from the Glee fandom so: the actors playing teenagers were definitely not looking like teenagers, they all had flawless skins and were ""perfect"" (aka in the beauty standards) looking so having skinny boys and girls with different and real-looking bodies feel so good! Maybe the difference also comes from the fact that Glee was a US show and YR is a Swedish one?)
ᴥ I feel very lucky that I was able to watch season 1 and season 2 back to back! It must have been so hard for you guys to wait for season 2 >< And I'm lucky again that season 3 will probably be there in not too long!
ᴥ August is such a well written character!! A truly interesting "villain" who makes me feel almost some sympathy at times o_o
ᴥ I have very mixed feelings and complicated thoughts about Sara...
ᴥ The chemistry between Edvin and Omar is insane.
ᴥ Yuk Marcus!
ᴥ But all the love for Felice <3
ᴥ And Omar is the prettiest human being ever. I am now officially a fan. (He gives me SO.MUCH gender envy...........)
Tumblr media
These were all kind of scattered thoughts going through my head while I binge-watched the show the first time!
(Also it made me want to learn Swedish so I've started doing that on Duolingo and I'm now obsessed with this language xD (But gosh, pronunciation is a nightmare...) So if any Swedish people wanna chat, I need training :p)
Gonna stop there for this freaking long-ass post and keep my rantings and chattiness for another post :D

Here's another one from Aftonbladet - and here's the translation I did
Cannes. There are plenty of Wolrd famous celebrities at the worlds biggest movie festival. And then there is Edvin Ryding. I had never expected to go here and not be anonynomous. It feels Surrelastic when you think about who else is here, he says.
Every year Stockholm international Movie Festival choose an Zalando Rising Star that gets to go to The movie festival in Cannes. Previous winners cinlude Alicia Vikander, Gustav Lind and Alba August. Even though he was nominated Edvin Ryding never thought he would win.
I thought Matilda Källström would win. SHe was incredible in the tv-series Threesome and I thought me being active for so long would work against me.
Almost 20 movies and tv-series
It might sound strange from someone who is only 19 years old, but he started out at merely 5 years old i the tv-series “Mannen under trappan” with Jonas Karlsson among others and have now starred in almost 20 movies and tv-series.
For the younger audience its “Julkalndern” and for the little older its “Gåsmamman” and “Älska mig” and sometimes “Fröken Frimans krig” that people remember me from. Though know almost everyone know me from one particular show...
We are obviously talking about the Netflix show “Young Royals” where he plays Crown Prince Wilhelm that attends a prestigious boarding school and becomes friends with and later lover to the poor immigrant son Simon (Omar Rudberg) I world success in many ways.
It’s become very popular among the LGBTQ- community. We, especially director Rojda Sekersöz wanted to portray that part of the story in a very undramatic way. Simon is open with his sexuality but that’s not the reason why the students at school looks down on him. They do it because he’s poor. We wanted that perspective.
Edvin believes that the huge international breakthrough has many reasons. There is an overall interest for Nordic tv-series. Omar Rudberg’s Venezuelan background has made many people from South- and Latin America interested. Ant the royal element is pretty exotic.
The interest in you have exploded, you’ve got 1,2 million followers on Instagram?
1,7 Edvin corrects without coming off as braggy.
What do you do with that?
I ask myself that sometimes. It’s hard to imagine that many people. My default you want to please everyone and post a lot of content. I’ve learned a lot about myself and how do a handle crazy situations. When I was in Paris on vacation last year there was 20-30 people standing outside a restaurant, waiting to meet me.
Living at home
Edvin still lives at home with his huge family in Nacka. He has a couple of weeks left before graduation.
Aren’t your parents scared that the fame will get to you?
I think so, that’s completely reasonable. I am too. Mum and dad helped me with everything with my acting before I got an agent a few years ago.
A second season of Young Royals has been shot and will be out later this year. Everything is a secret.
What did you know about Cannes from before?
Only what I’ve seen in Mr Bean’s holiday. And then you get here...Oh my god. It’s an amazing place to be as a young actor.
He’s been presented by the Swedish movie institute at a press conference, networked and gone to the Gala premiere of Tarik Saleh’s movie “Boy from Heaven” and had a beer with me.
When we leave the restaurant they are there, the young “Young Royals fans” waiting for him.
It’s almost as if I’ve staged this, Edvin says and laughs.

Some of your YR gifs are so 🔥that it feels almost too intimate to watch. Like…they really did that! But the very best thing is that the emotions are going through the roof. Tack!
it’s definitely the emotions that make it so intimate (along with the fact that Edvin & Omar are incredibly talented actors!!). I remember seeing some complaints that there weren’t many kisses this season but man oh man - the ones we did get!!! Those are literal brilliance and extremely passionate & show their growth & level of comfort with each other and how much they missed each other!! Ahh I’m absolutely drowning in the feels - wilmon are just too beautiful and I miss them. :(

Edvin Ryding Interview - Efter Fem 29/11
Finally, here it is. Not my best work but it took like an hour and a half to just do these ten minutes.
Anna: It is Edvin Ryding, who we all know from Young Royals that has taken the world by a storm.
Edvin: Yeah...kinda
Anna: Kinda...we are going to talk about that as well as some other things. In a minute...This year few other actors have reached Edvin Ryding’s levels. You are eighteen years old; you are in school. I'd like to say that you've taken the world by a storm with young royals.
Edvin: I guess it depends how you see it. What does take the world by a storm even mean.
Anna: Definitely depends on how you see it. WE are going to talk about a lot of other things but first you'll have to sit back and listen to Axel who is going to tell us more about your life.
Axel: It's only been eighteen years, but a lot has happened during these years. Just look at this newspaper article with an eleven-year-old Edvin who tells the unbelievable story of how he got his first role. "It all started when a couple of family friends of ours were going to sell a bed," he says. "It turned out that the buyer was a casting director at SVT and was looking for a five year old that could star in the movie "mannen under trappan" alongside Jonas Karlsson among others. The family who sold the bed thought about Edvin and the rest his history.
Incredible. Since then we've watched him in a bunch of things, here for instance in SVT's Christmas show in 2018 with Lena Philipsson and JOhan Rehborg and of course, we know this series, Gåsmamman on tv4 and Cmore where Edvin plays youngest son Linus since season one in 2015. And when you look at these pictures its obvious that he's grown from a little boy to a slightly bigger boy. He had national breakthrough with Gåsmamman and an international one with the Netflix success Young Royals which premiered this summer. The story is about a fictional Swedish prince that is sent to the prestigious boarding school Hillerska where his life gets turned upside down.
...
Axel: Edvin starring as Prince Wilhelm and Omar Rudberg as Simon. Like I said it’s been a total success and here are just a few headlines from around the world. It is obvious that many people are looking forward to the new season that will air next year. But on Wednesday you can see Edvin at Avicii arena where he will put focus on young people's mental health a topic I know he thinks is important.
Anna: What a life story...
Edvin: That was so nice, I get really touched.
Anna: You should be touched. You were five years old when it all started.
Edvin: Just a little kid
Anna: And now you are...
Edvin. Now I'm eighteen
Anna: An experienced adult
Edvin: And a slightly bigger boy
Anna: Exactly... We've all been able to follow your career as an actor like in Gåsmamman were you've grown up in front of everyone. And thanks to Young Royals there's been some international headlines as well. Do you notice a difference after this breakthrough?
Edvin: Yeah, there's definitely a difference. People send me letters from India or Guatemala.
Anna: What do they write to you?
Edvin: That the show has moved them, that they love my dog, that they want me to say hi to Omar, a lot of cute things. I get really touched.
Anna: What is it like to receive that kind of feedback and know that there are people in India writing to me.
Edvin: It's surrealistic, you can't imagine. It's also kind of hard to grasp and kind of abstract. I'll never meet them. When I was in Europe this summer, I met a few people and got to experience it in person how big the fandom is. That was quite bizarre. It's not caught up with me yet.
Anna: I've heard about a story i Paris.
Edvin: Yeah, I was in Paris with a few friends, on vacation and it ended up with us having about 40 people waiting outside the hotel and outside the restaurants we ate at. That was a bit sick. Boyband hysteria...almost...almost.
Anna: But how do you handle that?
Edvin: I get happy... Or I notice that they get happy when I notice them and talk to them and it also makes me happy. I've always loved to talk to people about movies or series and now it just happens to be a series that I'm in. That's something else I guess but I really to talk to people and meet them.
Anna: What is it like to be a idol but also a role model.
Edvin: It's...It's easy to put a lot of responsibility on famous people to take responsibility for many different things. That can be really challenging because it's unreasonable to take that amount of responsibility. At the same time, I'm thankful for being where I am today and that I get the opportunity to raise awareness of certain topics. For instance, this thing with Avicii arena.
Anna: That's one way to take responsibility...which is about young people's mental illness, and many artists are involved in this project. It's on Wednesday right?
Edvin: Yeah, that's right.
Anna: Wednesday December the first.
Edvin: Yes.
Anna: Where mental illness and your generation is the main theme for the night. How are your generation?
Edvin: Wow, I don't really know but looking at the statistics you'll notice that mental illness is very common among young people. And many young people tragically commit suicide. Which is a huge problem in our society. It's also one of the reasons why I want to participate in this.
Bergling Foundation which is behind this are trying to present a solution. They've gathered stories and suggestions from around 1000 people and presented them to our prime minister.
Anna: Do you think people talk enough about it? Do you think we focus enough on young people's mental health in society?
Edvin: I've noticed a growing debate. Which is a good thing. But we a long road ahead. And above all we need the people with power to open their eyes to the problem and for them to try to solve these problems.
Anna: And one way to open their eyes is to participate in an event like this. What is your role? Are you singing?
Edvin: I'm not singing! I might hum a bit behind stage. I'll lead the gala. It's me and a girl Someya Gutale who will host the show. Welcome people and remind everyone about the reason we are there, interview some people, present the artists.
Anna: There will be a big audience. Are you comfortable in that role?
Edvin: We've talked about it quite a lot. My experience is leading our graduation from seventh grade. We'll see how I'll manage this.
Anna: I'm sure you'll do fine. Many people are also wondering about season two of young royals. What about it?
Edvin: Things are going great. We'll start soon. We'll film and release the show next year. But pre-production has already started. People won't have to wait too long.
Anna: And how exciting is it? What's the best thing?
Edvin: I'm very thankful. We were not prepared for this. We worked our asses of out on Ekerö for three months a year ago. And then it turned into this. It's an incredible bunch of people behind this I’m looking forward to working with them again. And to see how it will be received by the audience.
Anna: What's the best of playing your character?
Edvin: I hope he won't get offended by this, but Felix Sandman said to me "Isn't so much fun to play a rich character" He played a rich character in "Quicksand" It's fun to play a royal person but it's a nuanced role which I like. I like that as an actor.
Anna: Of course, you are allowed to think that. Good luck with everything, it was a pleasure having you here with us today,
Edvin: Thanks for having me.

4, 5, and 7 for end of year asks!
Heeey ✨ thanks for the ask!
4. Movie of the year: Ok so, I really don’t watch a lot of movies, I’m more a tv shows person + pls consider my memory is not very good. With that been said, one of the movies I enjoyed most this year was ELVIS by Baz Luhrmann. It introduced me into the Elvis universe and I really appreciate that. I also cried a lot with Lightyear and Red bcs #childhood.
Tumblr media
5. Tv show of the year: I can’t really decide just one in this question, but for the impact, importance and great representation of the aro and ace life/spectrum/everything I choose... KOISENU FUTARI. I’m not joking when I say this is one of the best series I’ve ever watched in my entire life and everyone should see it!! It has the power to change and save lifes! I really love love love everything abt this series. In the other side, I enjoyed a lot my beautiful Heartstopper, Young Royals S2 and of course Our Flag Means Death! Because Gay Pirates!!!
Tumblr media
7. Actor of the year: So... once again haha I can’t decide, but! I want to talk abt JOE LOCKE. I find what he has achieved thanks to Heartstopper in this year, not only in his career as an actor but also always mentioning and taking care of his hometown (Isle of Man) and the LGBTQIA+ community, very plausible. I respect and admire what he has done since he’s in the spotlight, he seems like a really cute soul. I also have to mention the loves of my life, my cute little Wilmon, the reason of my breakdowns: my dearest Omar Rudberg and Edvin Ryding. How Edmar have been growing up since YR realized last year is really really really crazy. I can’t be more proud of them... They made a incredible S2 and now the world is starting to recognize their potential more. I mean a few days ago they were in Fallonnnn?!?!?!! Edmar will conquer the world and no one can stop it!

Young Royals Review
I finished Young Royals a few days ago and I have so many thoughts so I decided to write a full review. If you’re considering watching the show maybe give this a read to see if you’d enjoy the show (no spoilers). I’d love to see more people join the fandom!
Entertainment wise, Young Royals is a good show but, if you’re like me and like to analyze every little detail it is fucking phenomenal. Originally I tried to watch it with the English audio dub (bc I don’t know Swedish and I don’t really like reading subtitles) but I got really confused with who was speaking and having the voices not match the lips really threw me off so I restarted it with subtitles and I enjoyed it a lot more. I typically think that subtitles take away from how much I pay attention to the acting but honestly I didn’t find that to be a problem at all. So don’t let the fact that it is in another language deter you from watching it because it really is an excellent show.
There are parts of the show that seem kinda slow and dragged out but there are so many little details that really elevate the depth of the show and each detail only made me love it more. There are some scenes with very little dialogue but still so much is being said just by the expressions of the characters and the mise en scene of the shots. The acting in Young Royals is INCREDIBLE. The whole cast is amazing but Edvin and Omar especially. Literally everything their characters are thinking and feeling is so well portrayed. The characters are so well fleshed out that every line and emotion is so raw and natural. It is absolutely fantastic.
Another reason I absolutely love this show is because the typical complaints I have towards most tv shows don’t apply to it. For one, the actors actually look the age of their characters. Some of the actors are slightly older than their characters but not by a whole lot (none of them are like in their 30s) and they actually do look age accurate. It portrays characters that aren’t the typical standard of beauty that most tv shows shove down our throats to try and convince us that teenagers should be. We get to see characters with acne and aren’t all stick thin or hella buff and they’re not just like that to be the butt of a joke. And I FREAKING LOVE IT because its much more realistic that way. The lgbtq storyline is also done so well. We get to see conflict in their relationship that is not due to homophobia. It deals with class structure/status and fame and honestly it is so nice to see a couple face external conflict instead of internal for a change. There’s no cheating, no love triangles, and no manipulation with Simon and Wilhelm. And although the conflict they face does break my heart it is still so refreshing to see this type of conflict instead of the typical overused tropes we usually see. The show also has neurodivergent representation that they handle well. As well the portrayal of anxiety is one of the best I have ever seen, on any show, and I’ve seen many other people on here agree.
Now if you haven’t seen Young Royals and plan on watching it here are some warnings that might be helpful (feel free to message me if you want any time stamps): episode 1 contains vomit as well as some stuff involving drinking spit that some people might not want to watch, there are 2 sex scenes in episode 4, drugs and alcohol are used at several points in the show, and if you have trypophobia (fear of small holes or also if small obscure patterns freak you out) there’s one scene in episode 4 involving plastic grass that personally really freaked me out and made me want to vomit.
Overall Young Royals is absolutely fantastic 10/10 would recommend

okay update FINISHED young royals and EVERYONE GO WATCH IT. I think the warnings were really only for that first episode (drug use is a prevalent theme throughout but nothing that graphic happens again) It was SO sad but had a vaguely hopeful ending and the amount of story and emotion packed into six episodes without feeling like whiplash was insane. I'm so glad you recommended it
It makes me so happy to see that some of you watch this show because of me !!
The emotions portrayed by the actors are not from this world. Edvin and Omar are so so talented, I could talk about them for hours hahaha but also big shout out to the director and the writer (both female btw), it's incredible what they have created.
And yes, it is pretty sad but I keep rewatching because it brings me so much comfort and it makes sense that it's sad, a happy ending wouldn't be fitting you know? I am begging for another season.

the confrontation scene, yes! i feel like i need a whole new set of vocabulary to express the brilliance of yr. but one more thing about the society and confrontation scene, which you have mentioned already, is malte and edvin. edvin's and omar's chemistry etc gets a lot of attention (and rightfully so), but edvin and malte are also fantastic in their scenes together. those two scenes are the highlights, me thinks.
episode 3 😭 and then the beginning of episode 4 with the funeral and wille with erik's casket and then the speech at hillerska 😭 i can't even watch it properly, it's too sad. did he ever actually have time to mourn erik 🥺 his mother was just thinking about the duty even then and made him feel like he had to give up simon too. do not think about wille being alone and mourning erik and his relationship to simon during christmas, do not think about wille being alone and mourning erik..
i hope your brother is okay and recovers soon ❤️
thank you for the wishes, sending happy thoughts your way 😊💜
i think malte is a fantastic actor – he has brilliant depth and brings many layers to august, which is why we all can't stand him – but can understand him. he and edvin work really well together and you're right, those two scenes are major highlights for the two of them. i would also like to throw in the scene in episode 4 where they're peeing (lol) and wilhelm opens up about erik, all the guilt he's feeling and they scream together. it's one of my favourites actually and i think they both do a wonderful job (it also makes me incredibly sad too because i can't help but think about how much wille needed someone like august for support – someone who knew his world and his brother and the pressures he faces but someone who was on his side. august was never on his side).
god i love the opening of episode 4 – it hurts so so bad, but i think it's one of the strongest openings. i mean, the editors were just sick for this...
Tumblr media
i definitely don't think he had time to mourn properly – i assume that he was out of school for a handful of weeks? maybe? but even then, that's barely any time to deal with your brother dying. that's why it all bubbles up in that scene with august – he hasn't been given the time, space or company to process everything.
and haha... funny you should say that anon... because i'm definitely not 1.2k into a oneshot exploring exactly that... i'm definitely not thinking about wille alone at christmas time thinking about simon and mourning erik. that's so not what i've been writing for the last few days 😳
thank you ❤️ he's pretty much showing no symptoms, but is locked up in his room for the next week so i've had to stop working and to play maid and house chef (making sure he doesn't starve, i guess 🙄) – but that does leave me more time to write and cry over yr.
you're wonderful! i hope you're having a nice lead up to christmas and are staying safe. it's a little mad out there right now. thank you as always for your company! ❤️❤️
