merlin goes through so many dramatic personality shifts over his life.
the years he's a servant? he's hopeful, ambitious, witty & optimistic.
the years he's an advisor? he's suave, egotistical & authoritative.
though, that changes in the coming months to the final battle.
he's crushed by the weight of his destiny, thus he becomes distant & too focused on preventing a future that's meant to happen.
he hardly cracks a smile nor carries any of the same passion as before.
then, he becomes cold & cynical. he hurts & mourns for centuries.
his flame of hope flickers a few times, though is always snuffed out.
by the modern day? he's sarcastic, though blunt. he's reserved & detached.
his wisdom is given out of duty, not out of passion.
but what doesn't change? is that he's kind.
even when he shuts off from the world, he's still compassionate & he will help you if there's no other way, or at least feel that compassion if he doesn't show it.
So i listed the whole album, I'm on the verge of tears and with the biggest smile in my face, words can't express how much I loved this album, like for real, right now I'm unable to pick a favorite song because this album rewired my brain just like Folie a Deux did.
Patrick voice is angelic, Joe is the true madman, Andy NEVER disappoints, and Pete lyrics touched my soul.
I truly feel all the love for Fall out boy like I'm 15 again and it's so powerful-
Anyways I'm going to listen all the songs again at work so
just told my favorite aunt – the one that I've always resembled so much – that I bought a bike, and instead of worrying she was incredibly happy and said she used to have one too.
ok now that the dance in fire birthday celebration is outta the way i guess this is a good time to (officially) announce that i'm working on another sonic zine! it's focused on a handful of the robotic characters from the series, especially metal sonic.
it's gonna have more comics in it, so it's taking me a while. not sure when it's gonna be done - hopefully october, but no promises.
