I am not an artist. But I wanted fanart for my fic and I refuse to stoop to AI, even if it's "better" and "has proper anatomy." Embrace the imperfections, people. I can't wait to draw more! Maybe one day I'll figure out how to draw hands... and faces. And color inside the lines. And figure out how to do layers instead of relying on the eraser religiously. And not accidentally combine all my layers and thereby doom myself into keeping easily fixable mistakes...

I have determined putting footnotes in AO3 chapters is the best way to bring humor and clarity to an otherwise serious situation. For example,

"Stop. Talking to me like that," Brunnhilde growls. "Like I'm a charity project or some garbage. I'm not you, Sweetheart, okay? I don't have a love complex."[1]

Will never not be funny to me. More people should do this. I swear, it makes your writing 10xs better.

Whoops, I forgot about the part where I disconnect from being online for days at a time because the doom scrolling gets overwhelming and makes me spiral. This is why my tumblr days don't flourish, being active and involved is key, but being chronically online is so unhealthy for my psyche 😔

Since coming back from vacation, I've mostly been cleaning my house, playing Final Fantasy 16 (a masterpiece), and working on In a Sky Full of Stars (my actual child). Based on my work schedule, Dream Come True should be out on the 23rd, but y'all know better than to ever hold me to dates. So whenever it's ready, it's ready~

I'm just out here having as much of a good time as I can before my last grueling year of nursing school begins. I hope y'all are remembering to live your best life! 💕

I assume most people who come here are checking on Éffleurer, and I will absolutely finish that series as soon as possible, but I need y’all to get on the hype train for In a Sky Full of Stars (Vampire Namjoon x Reader x Shadow Walker Jungkook) because it’s legit my ultimate passion project and thanks to my very kind moots I’m feeling like I might be able to do it justice 🥺✨

What's up!

I'm Ryn (She/Her) and I'm an Autistic Veterinarian who loves aquatic animals and has a Carol Danvers hyperfixation on the side. (Solely putting Autistic in the descriptors because YES! you can be neurodivergent and still be a doctor.)

I can't see anything in my head. (Complete Aphantasia)

I have read every single Carol Danvers comic that is currently in existence (Even Civil War II, which we just won't talk about).

I drink a lot of half-sweet DB cold brew iced coffee.

I like the Fast and Furious movies unironically (I can't explain it. I love them. I eat them up so hard).

I have cPTSD which influences a lot of what I write.

AO3: RynRose4 - Works | Archive of Our Own with most of my works focusing on trauma, internal struggles, found family, and healing. I am first and foremost an AO3 'The Marvels' writer. ValCarol is my top pairing (as evidenced by the existence of this entire blog) and as such, they are most of what I post/reblog.

But NCIS Sydney is slowly creeping up there...

🖊️ A Porn Star's Guide to the Holidays

I intend to post this on January 16th, but anyone who has been following me for long enough knows never to trust me with dates. It's been difficult to write and I'm doing my best.

🖊️ In a Sky Full of Stars

@propinqxity you have been so patient with me and I swear to you it will pay off. This simple idea has turned into a full-length novel passion project with at least one future sequel. My author's heart is on full display in this story.

🖊️ Eternium

Commission. A short (hah!), smutty, VERY LOOSE Hades and Persephone retelling.

🖊️ Two Fins Up

Collab. Rich boy Yoongi, dirty from boat-engine repairs, fucks a mermaid. That's it, that's all I want from this.

🖊️ Éffleurer

Yes, I will continue this story as a fanfic and post it to completion on AO3.

Yes, it will come after the other projects listed.

Yes, it will take me a long time to finish the remaining 18 chapters.

Yes, I will put as much heart into writing it as I always have.

While I work on these fic projects, I'm also drafting my first original novel, a vampire fantasy romance tentatively titled "Our Dark Below". I'll also hopefully be starting a new, challenging degree program in the fall.

Some of you know I live with varying degrees of mental and physical health issues, in addition to life's curveballs. All my goals and planning can never account for those. So y'all pls be patient and flexible with me through 2022. And I'll do my best.
