i know its reaaally early for this but can i bounce speculation off of you. i want to lb tier kana5 if its good/a significant development in their savior complex/relationship to mafuyu so i've been trying to guess what attribute it will be but kanades attribute history is so weird.

4 cute: three of them are lim lol. last was bloomfes. 4 cool: last was valentines. 5 happy: last was white day. 5 pure: last was WL. 5 myst: last was. now. which is messing me up bc i was expecing kana5 to be myst to parallel carnation recollection, but now they really need a cool card.

i know consistency with kanade is kind of doomed bc theyre a favorite on jp (thankfully im en so it wont be too hard to tier) but since you pay more attention to jp events. when would kana5 likely be? do you think it would be about their savior complex?

i dont expect you to predict any specifics right now nor will i come back to you if youre wrong i've just been thinking about it a lot and wondering if you have any thoughts. im coping bc my strongest n25 team is mysterious and now it seems less likely :((

Attribute is basically impossible to predict for specific events, they usually just give whatever is needed at the time in terms of both cards for the characters featured and generally in terms of event counts. Like Rui has had 4 happy events and 2 cool events, and Mizuki's first 3 unit events were all cute while all their mixed events are mysterious. It's basically impossible to tell what attribute it will be rn, closer to when it's due you can probably guess, but it's a while off right now and I don't know how many cards Kanade will get between now and then.

As for the topic? I think it could deal with some of her emotional struggles and saviour complex. Her last event and her fes card both dealt with her memories of her family and her relationship with them, and the event actually did touch on her motivations with the whole plot of it being about Kanade thinking about what she wants to do. Niigo's overall plot at the moment is about them growing up and making changes, so you could pretty naturally write in an event like that for Kanade. And as for when, probably November or February assuming that they never run WLEs again. I'm not sure if Ena or Kanade will follow after Mizuki, there's no indicators as this point in time. Ena would probably make more sense but at the same time there's every chance her next event will have zero plot relevance to Mizuki5. So be prepared for November or February, give or take.

♕ - Hi! Well welcome to my account, and I hope this is to your liking! I did do a friendship with Akito, and an acquaintanceship with Toya I hope that's okay but if not I can always re-write it! This was so fun to write and thank you so much! I hope you start feeling better!!

You had been nothing but excited when you had found out that you were playing the lead role in the upcoming play for Kamiyama. It wasn’t often that they held plays, and when they did it was a huge schoolwide thing, either everybody wanted to be a part of it or everybody wanted to know who was going to be a part of it. So this year when they had finally hung up the paper that had said your name next to the lead role you were ecstatic. It wasn’t long until almost everybody found out and congratulated you, but what you forgot to look at was who was playing your love interest and when you finally found out from one of your friends that it wasn’t somebody you even knew all that well you started to get a little freaked out.

Akito had been a good friend of yours since you were in middle school, you had originally met Ena in your art class and soon was introduced to her brother. When he had also read the cast list he seemed a little upset, not with you being the lead, he was so excited for you, but for the casting of the love interest. Another guy. He had been wanting to use the time at rehearsals and the kiss to get closer to you, but that wasn’t gonna work with another guy in the way of it. It had been weeks since he had actually had the chance to talk to you, since you were always busy with the play and you didn’t have any classes with him at all. So it was only in brief passing that he actually got to see you, but with the overload of students and the underload of time he never had the chance to stop and speak to you. It had been a couple more days it was time for the before showing for anybody that wanted to come, so he, An, and Toya decided to go together, as it was during lunch and it would also give Akito a chance to talk to you again, but as the play was going he just kept getting more and more pissed off. Starting with frowning, then crossing his arms, and then finally tapping his foot on the ground. An was too involved to figure out what was happening to the ginger boy next to her, but Toya wasn’t (too) oblivious. He figured out after he started crossing his arms that he was pissed at the “nobody” that was flirting with you. Toya only slightly chucked under his breath and was just quite possibly going to mention it to you later.

He was one of the quiet kids that you had come to know through the year as he was always willing to help you on things if you didn’t understand them. You two normally hung out in the library to work on some of the math work that you didn’t understand during lunch and after school. Though for the past couple weeks you had to keep canceling since the play, it had taken up most of your time throughout the past couple weeks making sure everything was ready and you remembered everything. He was a little upset by this but when he was studying with you he heard nothing but how excited you were to be in the play this year and how hard you had been working for it. He was obviously excited when he had heard through the halls that you had gotten the lead, though after hearing some more conversations throughout the hallway that some other guy that he had never even heard of was playing your love interest. He came to almost all the open rehearsals, since he had told his dad that he was gonna be “studying” and was going to be staying after school anyway. So after watching the first couple rehearsals and realizing how close that guy was to you, and how much he always flirted with you to get “more in character” and all he could do was watch with a frown that guy trying to lean in and kiss you.

He had known about the play from overhearing you talk about it with your friends during your couple shared classes that you had together. You two really didn’t know each other, only having a couple class assignments and projects that you two had worked on together, and him overhearing conversations with your friends, though he was excited when he found out that you were trying out as well. He had been hoping that he could find something that you were doing as well so he could possibly have more of a chance to talk to you, though he never thought that this would be it, but when the cast list came out and he realize that he was playing the villain and you were playing the main character, while some unknown person was playing your love interest. He was obviously upset but at least he would still have the time to see you when you were at rehearsals, or so he thought. The whole time that he was going to go up and finally talk to you, the guy who had been playing your love interest had been flirting and fake kissing you trying to “get ready for the performance”. Rui could only sigh and watch as this “nobody” kept faking kissing you and telling you (In his opinion) the worst pick-up lines ever.

As somebody who had mostly starred in all of the plays around Kamiyama he was well known and normally was always found practicing in school and after school. You had heard about him from the other cast lists that had come out and when you figured out that he was also auditioning it did kinda scare you a little, but you were quickly cured of that when you realized that you had gotten the lead and was the third side lead. Though it was confusing when you saw as your love interest somebody that you had never even heard of but you just shrugged it off, though Tsukasa wasn’t that easy. He wasn’t even going for the lead of this one but after hearing your audition he wanted to play your love interest, too bad that nobody had beat him to it. No matter, you two were still in the same play and he still had plenty of chances to talk to you, well that was at least his plan. Too bad it backfired on him. The day that rehearsals had started it was always you and that “love interest” the whole time. There wasn’t even a place for anybody to get a word in since he was always basically hanging all over you and trying to be more “in character” by touching you and telling you dumb pick-up lines. Like how dare he, The great Tsukasa could do so much better then “If you were a vegetable you would be a cute-cumber” but all he could do was cringe every time the guy said that you were a “fine-apple” and pretend not to notice all the times that he tried to lean in for a kiss.

hm. tierlist on how good of a hugger i think the pjsk cast is. vocaloids are thrown in at random. personal headcannons GALORE

tenma tsukasa. canonically an amazing big brother. this comes with the territory. he's also a human radiator so it feels very soft and warm. also has good strength so you feel very safe. 10/10 would hug again.

wxs luka. she is chubby and soft and sleepy. this is the ideal person TO hug. only thing keeping her from that number one spot is the fact she will fall asleep in your arms which is cute for about ten seconds.

mochizuki honami. she is canonically BUFF AS HELL and also SOFT. a hug from honami will instantly make you forget every single one of your worries. also she smells like apple pie.

otori emu. she may not have luka, hona, or kasa's height, but she has more than enough wonderhoy to make up for it. getting hugged by emu is like getting hugged by the worlds nicest weighted blanket.

hanasato minori. if i could go to a mmj fan meetup the first thing i would do is ask minori for a hug. she will hug you like she means it. and she does very much mean it. i just think it would be nice.

tenma saki. she will give you hugs CONSTANTLY in that super friendly "we're gonna jump in a circle while i hug you because im so happy to see you" way. will it be a long hug? no. will it make you feel instantly happy and welcome? yes. and that my friend is valid.

vbs meiko. it's a hug from your mother (or what you imagine a hug from a good mother like figure to be). safe and secure. familiar.

hinomori shizuku. if you are nice to her she will find a way to give you a hug. she smells like dewdrops in the morning. it's a very refreshing hug.

l/n luka. its like a hug from that cool upperclassman you had a tiny crush on in high school. objectively a very neutral hug but she's cool and it makes you feel safe.

kiritani haruka. she has perfected her idol hug throughout the years. it is a blend of hopeful, reassuring, and slightly impersonal. she tries though and you have to love her for it. if you're a haruka stan it's an instant 1 though.

azusawa kohane. honestly fantastic hugger it's a very friendly and kind sort of feeling. she's just not confident enough to give you a good one unless you're close.

yoisaki kanade. she kind of smells like bo and ramen but it's ok because a hug from kanade makes you feel instantly safer. kanade hugs are full of reassurance and safety. a reminder that you are not alone and you will be saved.

I AM!! I'm several chapters in and super enjoying it, although reading it alone in a tiny hotel room in the middle of nowhere was a Distinct Mistake.

As for recs! I'm going to specifically go for stuff that isn't super mainstream, in the hopes that I'll recommend you something you have never heard of before. Here's some stuff for you!

Podcasts

Dreamboy - one-season podcast from Night Vale Presents, definitely one of their less-known ones. Explicit in places, what I would describe as AO3 M-rated sex scenes. A worn-out musician ends up embroiled in inexplicable events in a small town, and also there's a murderous zebra and fossils that want to fuck. It's a musical cinematic podcast masterpiece, I'll always be sad there's only one season.

Apocrypals - nonfiction. Two non-believers read through the Bible and try not to be jerks about it. If you're interested in theology and apocryphal texts but have no idea where to start, this is such a good place. The hosts are delightful, and have a really nice way of taking you through all the various layers of Biblical scholarly nonsense. Considerable backlog of episodes, but worth listening through from the beginning. Weirdly, there's continuity.

Til Death Do Us Blart - five poor fools watch Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 every Thanksgiving from now until the end of eternity, and report back yearly on their mental state. You may think to yourself 'wow, that doesn't sound like a good time'. It isn't, to the hosts. To anyone listening along, it's fucking hilarious. Nine episodes so far, and it's a single episode per year, so plenty of time to catch up.

Web Series

The Monument Mythos - Several seasons. surreal analogue horror alternate history of America told through a series of videos of varying format. Brilliantly absurd, fucked up, and horrifying by turns (sometimes all at once).

No Evil - ongoing animated series, made mostly by a single person. Please don't immediately wave it off because of the colorful anthropormorphic animals. The mythology is amazing, the animation is sublime, and the music is haunting. The pacing is a bit strange at first, and you may be confused at the way the plot moves, but you have to understand that it's all part of its charm. I think about No Evil way too much.

Dances Moving - you may know Brian David Gilbert from his work at Polygon, and his more recent absurdist Youtube ventures. This is from way before that! It's a fun and gradually heartwrenching musical exploration of a local dance group and what it means to move away from home. Seven short episodes.

ENA - this one is a bit more mainstream, so you may know it already. Who knows what's going on in the world of ENA? Definitely not me. Absurdism at its finest. Bizarre architecture, strange characters, if it's a metaphor I don't know what it's about, but the vibes are immaculate. Three actual episodes of varying length, apparently there's a video game set to come out soon-ish?

An Unauthorized Fan Treatise - serialized story. If you're a fan of internet drama a la Msscribe, you're going to adore it. It's a fiction story about a fictional fandom, and one massively messed up person who decides that two of the lead actors in her favorite show are secretly dating and sets out to prove it with a cited multi-chapter essay. And then it gets wild.

Comics

The Property of Hate - a wonderfully dynamic and colorful webcomic about a young girl getting chosen to become a make-believe world's Hero. Puns and wordplay galore. Absolutely delightful characters and worldbuilding. Ongoing.

Eat the Rich - a young woman goes to meet her boyfriend's extremely rich family, and learns their horrifying secret. Warning: cannibalism. 5 issues, complete.

Beanworld - impossible to describe, but I'll try. An absurdist semiabstract musing on the nature of life and cycles and community, set in a world where the rules are weirdly two-dimensional and you as a reader get weirdly invested in the routines and cycles that the inhabitants follow. And all of the main characters are cute lil bean guys. If you read anything on this list, do this one. (Linked is the only online version I could find, and it's not up-to-date. I own all the omnibuses in print. If you liked what you read here, I recommend tracking them down too.)

Short Stories (in no particular order, and certainly not all my favorites - just the ones I had bookmarked and on hand)

Bride, Knife, Flaming Horse - a young Indian woman looks for marriage in the fantastical, and finds several suitors

Fish (in 13 sections) - an obsessive unpacks a bewildering insult. Just, really fun.

Fandom For Robots - a robot discovers anime, and definitely doesn't have big feelings about it

Informed Consent Logs From The Soul-Swap Clinic - two people decide to swap bodies, for somewhat murky reasons.

The Magician's Apprentice - a young girl learns magic from her mentor. This one's about grooming. But not like that. But also a lot like that. But also it's so much more fucked up than that. (This one is a MEGA favorite, it's by Tamsyn Muir. Who you may recognize as the author of the Locked Tomb series - I'd rec that too here, if it wasn't definitely too mainstream for what I'm going for. Read this. And also read the Locked Tomb.)

The Tale of the Foolish King Who Banished Music - it's a snippet of a longer Doctor Who audio drama, but stands so nicely on its own. Unnerving little fairy tale.

The Spider - 1908 horror story about a man trying to figure out why so many men have spontaneously committed suicide in a specific hotel room. It's basically a TMA statement, in more ways than one.

Video Games

What Did Veronica Dream Of? - strange little rpgmaker puzzle game. Obtuse and weird, and I adore it. I wish I could explain why.

Secret Little Haven - point-and-click about being a trans girl on the internet in 1999. Completely nails the tone it's going for. Period-typical homo- and transphobia.

Linelith - a short (1-hour) puzzle game with no plot and no characters, and yet it contains one of the greatest plot-twists of all time. I'm begging you to play it immediately.

Lingo - puzzle game about linguistics, words, non-Euclidean goemetry, and figuring out an endless series of rules in a constantly expanding world. RIDICULOUSLY clever and good, and I've been playing it almost continuously for the last few months. It's got so much content for such a reasonable price, and the community-made maps add even more content (and are also excellent). If English isn't your first language, you may struggle, but otherwise - grab a bunch of friends and stream it. It's better with friends helping you out, I can guarantee it.

For A Change - a 1999 interactive fiction game about raising the sun in a world where words do not mean what you think they mean. If you're familiar with old text-based games, go ahead and play it - otherwise, you may want to read this transcript of a group of people playing it together instead.

Other Things

Carmilla - the classic 1800s lesbian vampire novella. I read it very recently, and it's extremely good. Absolutely delivers on the lesbian vampire premise in full gory detail, although do be aware that it was written in the context of homophobic fear.

Alberio - very fun light musical about two siren brothers reconnecting under less-than-ideal circumstances.

Mosquitoes - stage play about life and families and physics (theoretical and practical both). Very heavy topics, pulls no punches. The Boson's final monologue always wrecks me.

Ghost Quartet - musical/song cycle/experience about love, death, alcohol, and (of course) ghosts. Lots of cyclical stories and time travel weirdness. All of the songs are incredible.

Yankee and the Foreigners - music group that performs delightful upbeat covers of songs in animal onesies. Their Bare Necessities cover is a favorite of mine.

I'm sure there's lots more things I could rec (not a lot of books or movies here, huh? sorry about that. I immediately forgot everything I've ever read and watched) but these were the things that came to mind when I sat down and wrote this list, so hopefully there's something new and good for you in here!

Shocking, the person who makes the loudest statement in any room he walks into was once lost of passion. Like I.

He made it apparent that he will help me, and i took no move to stop him. Kanade and Tsukasa are trying so hard for me. Why? The others from our respective groups are hanging out more often, due to the fact Tsukasa helps me, Rui, Emu and Nene all show support too.

How can they be so nice? Its a little scary.

This situation... Interesting one at most.

Its summer, Rui suggested we all go enjoy ourselves at a festival and everyone agreed to meet.

We all walked around, got some prizes, and ate food. Rui won an extra prize and gave it to me, as i was next to him as he won it. It was a cute little charm of a bear, i couldnt help but take some time to look at it. Thank you Rui.

i observed Tsukasa's behavior. i couldn't miss it, really... He suddenly wanted to do every game to win a prize. Although his ambitions were high, he couldn't win any of them. He really is an interesting person. Good luck, Tsukasa.

Right now, Im sitting a bit back from the group. Mizuki and Rui are lighting up as many sprinklers they can, handing them to Emu as she pretends to attack a screaming Tsukasa, who pretends to fight back as well. Ena and Kanade, and Nene are observing this so-called "performance." Nene and Ena are jumping at the sight of everyone almost getting hurt, they cant help but laugh as they call this a "stupid situation." They eventually start to light their own sprinkelrs and watch as the sparks fly around. Kanade lights her own as well. As for me, i contentlly watched.

I soaked in everything that happened today, it was something i couldnt forget, even if i tried.

Tsukasa continued to surprise however. I had spaced out while looking at the sprinklers, and He was next to me.

"Tsukasa-Kun?"

He stretched his hand out and popped his hand open. Out fell a purple bunny keychain. I looked back at him for an answer.

"Rui gave you a keychain before, right? I wanted to get you myself, from me to you."

He placed the bunny in my hands. I looked closely at the bunny. It has a patch of a heart in its chest with a different pattern. A yellow bow tied to its ears with a neutral, cute expression on its face.

"Its a kind of Thanks for coming with us today, and it reminded me of you. its cute and purple!!" Tsukasa explained, my eyes hadnt left the bunny in my hands.

For me? Reminds you of... me?

What is this feeling.

"I hope you enjoyed your time here today. But the night isnt over yet, Mafuyu - san!" I looked up to face Tsukasa's face.

His face held a bright smile, cheeks pink as he held out a lit sprinklr to me.

I clutched the bunny keychain in my hand and reached out to grab the sprinkler. Tsukasa-kun...

"Ma-Mafuyu?!" I looked at him. His expression was fulled of shock. I sent him i questioning look.

"Y-you! your face!" My face?

"Y-You're smi-" He paused. He shook his head and laughed.

"Never mind, dont worry about it. Cmon lets join the others." Tsukasa grin came back to his face, somehow even brighter than the sprinklers in our hands.

He grabbed my wrist and pulled us back to the group.

can you imagine. they're lying on the forest floor and luka wakes up from her nap to see meiko who's looking at her but not at her. she misses her meiko too. so she indulges a little and reaches up to cup meiko's face in her hand and she doesnt expect it but meiko leans into it for a moment. they forget they have an audience actually.

when the exploration team comes back they see everyone red faced except n25!kaito, who looks surly, but if u ask him what happened, he'll explode

wxs!luka sleepily asks wxs!meiko what's going on, and meiko just pats her lap to let luka sleep. then ln!luka watches on the side pitifully and teases meiko about it. then ln!meiko pats her on the arm and says, it's a shame miku isn't here huh. luka swats her.

n25!miku comments in bewilderment that kaito gave her some water because it's his job as a manager to take care of everyone's health. this is completely not the kaito she's used to. she looks over at n25!kaito, who was watching them before they left the base. her expression is still dead but somehow she manages to convey, is this really you? and n25!kaito scoffs and said, you're an adult you can take care of yourself. then again, i should help you out since you probably dont know what to do

ena has words to say about that but mmj!kaito looks at him very disapprovingly. n25!kaito backs off, and says he has better things to do like light the fire

n25!miku looks at mmj!kaito again and he smiles at her and says, well you shouldnt take what he said to heart. he should've been nicer. and she says back, it's okay, we usually just let him since he apologises later. thank you kaito. and she looks at him like she's imprinted on a new big brother and oh no ena can see it. she's worried that she'd cry when they find their way out.

vbs!miku + ln!kaito

vbs!miku comments that kaito started avoiding her after she gave him a dish she seasoned and doesn't know why. girl he's too shy to say u need to fix it and knew you'd ask for an opinion since you're giving off strong cool girl energy. he's running away

she wants to ask vbs!kaito but he's already distracted with rui messing around with some drones. the next best thing was to ask kohane, so she did. she doesnt really get why kohane pales a little and tries to change the subject but whatever! all the kaitos seem really nice so far. they're probably more fragile than their kaito though, since kohane slapped her hand on her mouth when ln!kaito had quietly made a suggestion on where to look for food earlier on.

what! she was just going to make sure that kaito wasn't going to just look for ice cream!

she promises to herself that she'll be nice though, and when it's time for dinner, she makes sure that she's the one who hands him his food again even though he looks like he rather not, and she carefully, explicitly, says that she got it directly from the kitchen and didn't do anything to it.

their kaito immediately confirms this with a shout from the kitchen doors, and says "miku, you still havent graduated from meiko and i's oversight!!!!" she retorts back with "it's just seasoning! what could a little bit of salt do!"

"we don't have salt!"

their bickering goes on, and on. ln!kaito is saved from further interaction at least, when he gets to sit next to mafuyu and kanade.

n25!rin + ln!len

haruka notes that rin's been standing around on her own and len goes to play with her

it was inevitable when her len went with mizuki and rin vehemently denied wanting to stick to len. now rin looked a little dejected as they explored, so len started to talk to her and ask about cat's cradle, while he managed to steal a drone and they started playing with it

haruka is quietly relieved, but she doesn't notice that akito and rui make a mild comment about it as well. rui managed to craft a remote for the drone that he gives to len. and akito gets rin riled up enough to be less sharp, and more on the side of banter. mmj!luka asks how akito knows how to do that when he looks away and says something about his sister being the same

it's all just a little bit peaceful until ln!len crashes the drone and gets a little injured. n25!rin panickedly tugs at mmj!luka, but it's vbs!kaito who is most helpful. rin is visciously surprised how nice he is and desperately wants to tell someone, but mizuki is looking for food with her len, and n25!luka would just laugh it off.

wxs!miku also manages to make rin smile, so it was a plus.

ln!miku + n25!luka

ln!miku got SCARED of n25!luka im honestly so amused by this. it was nice to know she'd meet two other lukas and would be starstruck that one's an idol but the other is very much not like HER luka-senpai!!! why!!!!!!!

shes scary, she smiles with her mouth but her eyes are completely void. she laughs but it rings hollow. mafuyu looks quite the same but it's not like she can do anything about it!!!

she turns to look at their kaito, who is just as freaked out about vbs!miku, so she can't really ask him about it. and the kagamine pair from this luka's sekai are separated and completely different. so she. tries to talk, and there's this vibe that she's the same but not quite

emu seems to have more luck with this apparently, since mafuyu seems to go a little more soft around her but genuinely this luka is so scary ! she misses her luka

nene's not used to this kaito, god help her. he's so serious and scowly, she thinks he looks a lot like a frustrated tsukasa if he ever genuinely got pissed. he snaps when he's spoken to and when he initiates it's. a bit fine? but also he still looks like he wants to murder her in her sleep so she clings to anyone who could stand in front of her as a barrier.

but of course all is not perfect in the world. which means that everyone's out and busy when she's assigned to the camp alone with him and he's lighting the fire but doesn't know how.

she notices, but doesnt say anything until he frustratedly looks up from his task and he says, "hey, you."

she's seen ena talk back at him before and knows he caves easily if you show enough spine, but tsukasa nor emu is here at the moment so can you forgive her if she stutters a little when she answers him back and he asks for help?

she makes her way over and hopes it's not obvious that she's really really nervous but he's calm and he doesn't get angry, so she lets herself relax. he's just so different from the big brother, mothering, kaito she knows? everyone else from their sekai seem to miss him too. she overheard luka saying she lost another pillow and meiko said she lost someone to throw.

he says "thanks" after she shows him the spark of kindling and a shot of bravery makes her say "don't you have something similar, in your sekai?"

"there's nothing in that one's sekai" he replies. she really has no idea how to reply to that so she doesnt.

big brother kaito who is literally just unflappable and reliable troupe leader who to the best of his ability can barely only impress — here's a kaito who seems a little bit useless but also easily impressed

she squints at him. he's so nice it's almost suspicious. and so kind. he reminds her of this other kaito that she met once upon a time in mikudemy. maybe theyre cousins, like he said? certainly they have the same demeanor. it makes sense

she watches this kaito hand n25!miku water and she feels so bad. man. their kaito needs to be nicer to everyone even if she knows that's not gonna happen. during their trip she overhears ln!meiko and mmj!kaito talk and apparently theyre close in age? kaito's a manager of an idol unit, while meiko is the drummer of a band.

they talk about keeping pace with the rest of the group and notice that she's listening in and includes her in the comversation

she has no idea why it feels like she's talking to two parents but she's not complaining! or maybe she is a little because theyre so nice it's so weird. she is half expecting for meiko to zone out or kaito to snap but they just keep talking.

she wonders how the rest are faring as they pile her with questions on what she's doing, and some encouragement.

mafuyu + vbs!meiko

she could say she was glad about everything, but that would be a lie since she doesn't actually know if she's relieved about it. hinomori is with her. and so is the luka she's familiar with, and mochizuki. but the rest... well...

but since they're cleaning up the base, they kind of need role designation, and this meiko says she runs a cafe so she can be the barista

which is all well and good. mafuyu helps with the set up until meiko asks her if she wants to see how to brew coffee

she has nothing better to do so she says yes. meiko is quiet, but not the same way as her meiko. she hums, taps her feet. shes lively in a way that her meiko seems to deflate

well at least until meiko asks her if theres anything she likes, and for some weird compelling reason she says she might be ok if they dont go home

HI HELLO i have two actually kind of but the main one i’ve been thinking about recently is the one i actually did end up writing a little fic for,, (i guess more accurately the fic was initially a one off thing but then the au sprung from it)

essentially it’s kind of a medieval au thing,, they all live in this kingdom and mafuyu is the princess. ena lives in her fathers art studio, mizuki is a knight and has just been appointed as mafuyu’s bodyguard, and kanade is a rumoured witch of the woods!!

other honourable mentions include akito, who is another knight, and toya, who is the prince of the kingdom next door :)

since it started with a fic and i’m considering writing more this one actually has a bit of a narrative, so i’ll put that here as well if you’re interested!! it’s under the cut

mafuyu’s 18th birthday is coming up, and there’s lots of stuff being prepared for celebration. one of these things is a big old fancy royal portrait, enter ena. it was actually her father who was asked for, but he’s out of the kingdom and ena decides to do it herself. she gets the portrait done, but it feels like something’s missing. she drags mafuyu outside for a breath of fresh air and a change of scenery, and then essentially sneaks her out of the castle grounds to get away from its suffocating atmosphere. for a moment while they’re walking, the real mafuyu slips through, and ena rushes to paint it. however, the sun is setting, and it won’t be long before someone notices their absence. they both return home. ena stays up late finishing the messier portrait from memory, and that’s where the first bit ends.

everything from here hasn’t actually been written and is mostly just planning,,, it’s also very messy and if i ever do get around to writing this all stuffs probably gonna change

as mizuki (and maybe akito?) is/are packing up, they’re summoned to the front of the castle. Mafuyu is going to go pick up a special dress for her birthday, and she needs bodyguards. mizusis tailor shop!!!! flowery wedding dress design, very flowy and nice. Very obviously a wedding dress also. huh that’s wierd. somethingll probably happen either before or after this dunno what yet,, they head back, and mizuki is summoned once more to be debriefed for tomorrow’s proceedings. essentially, they have to make sure mafuyu’s in the new dress, and escort her to the grand hall. if she asks any questions, reveal nothing. it’s supposed to be a surprise, after all!

option 1: mafuyu is woken up in the middle of the night by mizuki, who’s asking her about that prince her mother often brings up. they were sent on a date once, but it was rather awkward. basically, she’s supposed to get married to him in the afternoon. this didn’t sit well with mizuki, who came to warn the princess ahead of time. eventually, they sneak out for a breath of fresh air, and run into ena, who wanted to show mafuyu the new portrait.

option 2: mafuyu makes her way to the grand hall in her dress as instructed, but freezes halfway down the aisle. “haha wow it’s just so beautiful she must be overwhelmed with joy let’s give her a second to gather herself ohmygodmafuyuareyouokayweneedtogetyououtofhere” (mizuki gets them out of there, berates themself for not warning mafuyu)

either way, something something they end up running away to the woods and find kanades humble abode.

don’t really know what’s happens from there, i’ve also only just realized what a mess this whole thing is while writing it all out apologies lol,,, i uhhh idk man idk

🌙Welcome to Reaper rambles, a "show" where I just ramble for fun because why not. Today's episode is about video games I've played recently and enjoy.🌙

1 - Momotype.

Momotype is a free horror visual novel on Steam about adopting a cute little Momo. You become a parent to an adorable little creature(?) Who only lives for 7 days. Be warned tho, it hides some dark secrets.

The Steam page calls it

"An experimental, horror visual novel about raising a virtual pet."

And boy, it sure is a horror visual novel. Im terrified but gods i love my son(s?) Momo. Someone get me a plushie of Momo please.

2 - Spiritfarer.

A cute yet emotional game about letting go.

You are probably gonna cry lets just be honest here.

I dont got much else to say cuz im still not over letting Stanley go.

(Btw if u have a netflix subscription u can play Spiritfarer for kinda free through their game stuff)

3 - Persona 5 (Og, Royal, and Strikers).

Gods i love Persona 5, so much so that im buying Royal again but for my switch.

I cant say much to Royal as i havent played it myself yet as ive been 100% completing the og Persona 5, but from all the videos ive seen it is just as great as the og if not a bit better.

As for Strikers, i was not planning to play it but a mix up with trying to buy Royal for the switch lend me to play it. And i regret nothing, it builds off the og story is a way that is satisfying, atleast to me.

And gods i love the way the fighting is amazing. Its like Hyrule Warriors but with a story i actually care about (im joking, but also i do care a bit more about P5S' story more then Hyrule Warriors')

ALSO I adore Alice's design and stuff, like damn.

And finally,

4 - Project Sekai/Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage.

The only rhythm game im good at. Im actually serious this is the only one im good at cuz of how i can customize my speed and stuff.

All the characters are great, Nightcord at 25:00 and Wonderland×Showtime are my favorite groups but i love them all almost equally (sorry More More Jump, i love yalls songs but i just dont like idol groups)

In this household we love and appreciate KAITO. We need Niigo (Nightcord at 25:00) KAITO like yesterday, oh and Len my boi we need him too.

Also we need some mixed unit song covers, outside of the anniversary songs. Like gimme Childish War with Akito and Ena.
