I think about your mother-son Shoko and Yuuji everyday, they have consumed my thoughts. Like, Yuuji carrying her with him, cause he's not gonna leave her behind. It's just, so very special. Maybe it's the fact I'm close with my mom, but the fact mother-child dynamics are so uncommon in Fandom is a damn shame. Nobara seems to gravitate towards cool older women. I can see her looking up to and getting attached to Shoko as she always gets into fights and hangs out with Shoko regularly to get patched up or even to just follow her around. She admires how level-headed and steady Shoko is (which counterbalances Nobara's temperament perfectly). She thinks Shoko is so effortlessly the coolest, and Nobara wants her attention all the time.

Meanwhile, Shoko starts affectionately considering Nobara as "hers" (like how Gojo has Megumi, and Nanami has Yuji), and Nobara brings out a maternal/nurturing side of her that she didn't know she had. She adores Nobara's spunkiness but hates (loves!) this new terrifying feeling of caring/feeling responsible for someone in her "custody", and she actively worries about Nobara (unlike how Shoko normally doesn't get into other people's business and just lets people be). 🥺

I'm getting so many asks for Satosho with their kid. You guys are LUCKY i fell in love with the little blue eyed, brown haired, mole spotted baby. I don't think I'd ever draw Shoko as a mom otherwise xD
