I guarantee you the federal government is less interested in outing random queer kids on Tumblr than it is in kneecapping or entirely eliminating our ability to improve the well-being and material conditions of vulnerable people on a larger scale. Barring total societal collapse, academic research is a necessary part of that process.
Note: I am not affiliated with UCCS or UMich, but I am weeks away from completing my DrPH at another public research university in the United States. My dissertation research involved both launching a Qualtrics survey into the void and conducting in-depth interviews with participants, so I recognized this post as part of a legitimate study and chose to spend the wee hours of the morning writing this instead of going to sleep. That's how you know I'm a real ABD doctoral student.

Researchers at the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience with the University of Colorado are recruiting LGBTQ+ teens (ages 15-18) and their caregivers for a study of an affirming online group program for teens and their parents/caregivers.
