the most unrealistic part of izombie - a show where zombies are real and can solve crimes by eating brains - is that the character ravi isn't slamming ass all over the city. like he's supposed to be a medical examiner in seattle which is a $100k+ salary and he's played by rahul kohli and y'all are really trying to convince me this 6'4" doctor isn't knee deep in pussy 24/7?? zombies I can accept but trying to convince me this man with a full head of hair and a british accent has to fight for women's attention absolutely annihilates my suspension of disbelief.

as an avid cw show watcher since my teenage years (tvd, the originals, supernatural) i am such a defender of that silly little show izombie. the plot is so silly, a girl who goes to a boat party and gets turned into a zombie… then quits her job at a hospital to work in a morgue. why? so she can have access to a food supply that’ll keep her alive.

but get this: the brains she eats give her visions of the people killed, as well as some of their personality traits. once she realizes those visions could help solve the mystery of their deaths, she teams up with her fellow doctor in the morgue, ravi (rahul kohli) and a detective named clive to help put the pieces together.

to protect her cover, she presents herself as a psychic and pairs up with clive babineaux and visits the crime scenes in order to trigger visions that could solve the case.

with each brain she eats, she makes a little meal out of, which i personally have always loved to see. theyre my favorite parts of the episodes. the effects of the brains liv eats change her personality for the days she’s on the case, going from things like a stoner frat guy to a dominatrix lady. i swear this show was written on drugs for how ridiculous it is.

from liv moore’s dying and coming back to life to helping solve crimes, how in the world was this show so underrated??? it’s corny, silly, sad, funny, and even a little scary at the same time. no show has ever been this creative, especially from the cw.

liv moore’s taste buds are dead from her zombie transformation that she has to put the hottest hot sauce on all the food she eats to even taste anything. if she doesnt get a regular serving of brains, she will lose all control from the hunger and eat anything that could subside it.

i might even start rewatching soon, it’s that good. like know all the words to many episodes, that good. if this post makes any one of my followers watch it, i’ve done my job! this post was just me ranting about a silly little show that’s had my heart from the first episode. i wish i could watch it over for the first time again.

just think: a zombie working in a morgue to have a supply of brains, while also having a different personality every time she eats one. and solving crimes with her detective buddy who doesnt know shes dead.

what could go wrong!!!!!

it wasn’t until this watch of izombie that i realized. in the s3 finale they decided to reference GEORGE HW BUSH LEARNING ABT 9/11 with peyton n floyd baracus like i think the first few times i thought it was strange that they set it so specifically to him reading kids but

they really said it is zombie 9/11

Clive in the first two seasons is so funny. Every time he goes to the morgue he sees something sketchy but he likes those nerds and also Liv is psychically solving his murders with a 100% success rate. He's a murder cop, not a weird science cop.

Ravi Chakrabarti is legit one of the male characters of all times!

When he found out his depressed emo assistant was a zombie the main thing he found weird was her excessive use of hot sauce.

He spent years tirelessly working on a cure and or vaccine he tested on himself with no idea how and if it would work.

He was picked as Isobel’s designated adult and kinda care taker and supervision by her mom with Peyton and Liv right there and he did so admirable.

He stuck with Major against his 20 different job changes and ethics changes and all the bullshit he pulled and he kept the peace between Liv and Major against it all.

He took care of Isobel.

He kept Liv sane (somewhat). He kept Major sane (mostly). He kept Peyton sane (sometimes). He kept Clive sane (allegedly).

Throughout all the crazyness and the insanity and heartbreak he was the main constant for basically everyone and he was the one keeping all the plots together and idk idk, I don’t think people talk about that enough!
