Locked Tomb Characters as Utena Characters

gideon nav as utena. a bodyguard/cavalier. princely. a bleeding heart. definitely a boygirl. an orphan who felt the empty wound of losing family members. she dutifully protects harrowhark. quite skillful with her weapon. fierce with an undying loyalty. would do anything for harrowhark. gets impaled in place of harrowhark, eventually sacrificing herself. her heart beating with pure love and devotion. one flesh, one end.

harrowhark as anthy. divine. a necromancer or a witch. burdened by expectations that weigh down on her. perpetually carrying the sins of others completely alone. closed off from others. enshrouded in darkness. she learns to open up.

ianthe tridentarius as nanami. cruel and utterly scathing. selfish and haughty but deep down is softer than you would think. always there with a funny quip. has an incestous relationship with coronabeth but in a different way than nanami did.

plus, utena also is associated with coffins (TOMBS!!) due to her remaining in one at her parent’s funeral. she gains her strength from seeing the rose bride. and i don’t know i feel like you can tie alecto into all this somehow (DELUSIONAL).

i was considering juri as camilla hect but i don’t feel like it fit completely.

Imagine you’re some little evil woman sitting in Hades’ throne room when Orpheus walks in to make a deal to get Eurydice back, and Hades is like “yeah ok, just don’t look back otherwise she has to stay here” then walks out of the room. Almost immediately after hearing the conditions, Orpheus breaks his own neck so that it is physically impossible for him to turn it, and then demands that you gouge out his eyes for good measure. Eurydice then gets really upset because she’s convinced this is a sign that Orpheus hates her and never wants to see her again, and Orpheus is completely convinced that this was a normal and logical thing to do.

You are literally the only person in the universe who recognizes this as an act of love. They both then insult you to your face for thinking this is anything other than very normal (Orpheus), or petty hatred (Eurydice).
