OH MAN ASKING THE BIG QUESTIONS. I’ll stick to games, because this could also apply to anime characters quickly and I’ll just snowball out of control

So in no particular order...

Celes Chere (Final Fantasy VI). I really resonate with ice queen characters and thus Celes was a sure fit for that. I loved her demenor, more so as the game progressed. Fell even harder for her during the Solitary Island; it was the first time I ever saw a strong, independent character attempt suicide. That meant a lot to bitty!me.

Garrus Varkarian (Mass Effect series). I was honestly dead set on not liking him due to him being flooded on my tumblr dash by friends. Had no clue about him outside of what he looked like and that you could romance him. Moment I talked to him, I was like, “...well shit, you’re never leaving my party again.”

Morrigan (Dragon Age series). Again, another ice queen-ish character. I LOVED her intro in Origins and that it was echoed in Inquisition. She’s amazing and I love her to death. She’s everything I wanted her to be and more.

Midna (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess). I wasn’t a fan of her character design initially, but omg her sass and attitude was right up my alley. And her snarky remarks when you ask her for help was such a difference from Navi in OoT advising you politely. Love love love it. And her character development throughout the game was amazing and THE REVEAL OF HER TRUE FORM AT THE END YES PLEASE SIGN ME UP. 

Jodariel (Pyre). Yes, I know the game it isn’t out yet, but I played the demo of it last year and I immediately clung to Jodariel. Big and bad ass lady who is quiet and probably has a dark past? Oh my god yes. I could have played the entire game right then and there. I was already so attached to the trio, Jodariel especially. I can’t wait to play it in full so I can find out more about her.
