Insider note, the wind mechanic you can catch a glimpse of here used to appear in a previous area but pretty late into dev, we decided to cut that entire area. We wanted to save the wind mechanic and so wa-la, sand geysers! Happy accident because those sand geysers ended up being a perfect fit for those sandworms(who basically turn all of the sand into “thefloorislava” status). #indiegamedevlife
