was made in black and white, β« βͺ and the color of the dress was not able to be fully appreciated. The dress made its second appearance in π»ππ π©ππ πΊππππ in 1941 in a fashion show scene, πππ where an uncredited extra wore it as a model. Though this film was also in black and white, Groucho Marx explains to the audience, βThis is a bright red dressβ because βTechnicolor is sooo expensive!β Finally, the dress appeared in color in the 1943 film π«π π©ππππ πππ π¨ π³ππ
