Build: thin
Hair: long, brown
Eye color: brown
Children: Lola (D.O.B: September 20th, 1806), John Jr (aka Johnny) (D.O.B: March 9th, 1808), Sabrina (D.O.B: May 6th, 1812)
Little lore facts:
-John’s generally a shy dude. He doesnt say much in the senate or talk to anyone, unless his wife and/or kids are insulted. He will go awol.
-John’s hobbies and interests include: reading, politics, and some socializing, not a lot
-Sarah is an incredibly strong willed woman, she doesnt back down or take shit from anyone, and has mouthed off to very prominent people
-Sarah’s hobbies and interests include: writing, baking, partying
-Despite being so incredibly different, John and Sarah just click. They deeply love each other, and are devoted to one another and their kids
-John is pretty good friends with Henry Clay and Daniel Webster, despite finding them “to energetic” at times
-John carries around photos of his wife and kids (aww)
-John DESPISES John Calhoun. Whenever JCC is in his presence his blood BOILS. Their wives also hate each other
-Speaking of the wives hating each other, one night at an event, Sarah ended up punching Floride. In front of her kids (granted they were all grown by then).
-Despite being women in the 1800s, Lola and Sabrina were incredibly well educated, and both girls ended up journalists. Johnny ended up a lawyer, like his father.
If yall want more lore lmk!

We legit went from "I'm just best buddy Bobby" to "I'm nobody's father" to "you mess with my kid, you mess with me" to "papa bear!Bobby" to "That's my dad! I have two dads and you're one them" We truly won this one, like wow, seriously, I will never recover from that.
Honestly Nonnie
I am over the moon for Bobby - and you could see it meant everything to him - to have someone genuinely see him as their father - the thing he thought he would never get to have again - the thing he feels he destroyed for himself.
Of course it will be tinged with sadness over Brooke and Bobby jr, but to have May validate and uplift him in that way, and Athena recognising it as well - just beautiful.
I sobbed and i'm not ashamed to admit it! I wanted to scoop them all up in a giant hug and I'm still buzzing about it nearly 12 hours later!!
JCC went hard with the script and directing and Peter, Corrine and Angela destroyed it. and I love them for it!

Name: Koopa Clown Car
Debut: Super Mario World
In today’s edition of “things from the Mario series that no one really questions because they’re used to it but are really quite weird when you think about it”... it’s the Clown Car!
If I asked you what our frightening demon king Bowser here would use as a method of transportation, would you answer “a flying propeller capsule with a clown’s face on it”? Probably yes, because it’s so iconic! But why! What is it, even?
It’s called a car, but I think we can confidently say that's not the case (especially when Bowser has an ACTUAL car!) The wiki says it resembles a helicopter, and I suppose that is the closest thing there is, but that’s nothing like any helicopter I know! The propeller should be at the top, for one!
Tumblr media
And the clown face! Oh, the clown face! Without a clown’s icon red nose, mind you! Not just the one face, but a variety of expressions, with blinking eyes and all! Is this thing sentient, or rather, should I be concerned about that, when nearly all objects in the Mario world have faces? I dunno!
Do I sound outraged at all this? I’m really not! I actually quite like the Koopa Clown Car... it’s cute and silly! But Bowser sure looks awfully goofy sitting in there, all snug. Why, the only other thing that would be goofier, would be a hyper-realistic, muddy-textured Bowser in a Clown Car!
Tumblr media
Yup, thanks Brawl. Remember when this was in The Subspace Emissary? That was weird!
But if Bowser looks silly using it, then surely it should go to someone else? A character, perhaps, who would fit the aesthetic of a funny flying machine that looks like a toy? Someone quite close to Bowser, even!
Tumblr media
Ta-da! Enter the Junior Clown Car, Bowser Jr.’s new personal vehicle as of New Super Mario Bros. Wii! You can tell it’s different since the eyes are smaller, and it’s got more of a smirk than a grin. Besides it being completely adorable that he matches his dad, this little gadget quickly became a staple of Bowser Jr.’s character, appearing alongside him in nearly every game since!
Tumblr media
Heck, this thing was so iconic, it even got him into Smash! I’ve seen people who violently dislike this, claiming that it's not “really Bowser Jr.”, or that he should use the paintbrush instead... And to that I say: phooey! They go together like bread and butter! It’s a lot more interesting for this spoiled little kid to pilot a childish mech equipped with all sorts of wacky gadgets! Not everything has to be a reference- sometimes things are just fun!
The fact is, Bowser Jr. had something of an identity crisis after Sunshine, where they weren’t quite sure what to do with him. And the Koopa Clown Car was fairly underutilized, too... But they came together, and something beautiful blossomed! Shouldn’t we celebrate that?
Tumblr media
Look, it can even play tennis! With boxing gloves! How could you hate this? Do you hate fun? Do you hate folly? Do you hate joy and wonder, hm?
Tumblr media
Of course, if you’re an avid Maker of Marios like myself, you likely associate the regular and Junior Clown Cars with Super Mario Maker, where they’re a brand spanking new object unlike anything else! They’re bouncy, you can put anything in there, and you can even ride them yourself! I don’t know why they did this! But it’s pretty great! Look at how HD this render is!
Tumblr media
So was the Senior Clown Car (name pending) mostly retired after this? Quite the opposite, my inquisitive reader! It shows up in the very same game that introduced the JCC (acronym pending), in Bowser Jr.’s final boss fight! And here it is in New Super Mario Bros. 2, with all of the Koopalings trying to squeeze in there. How silly! Lemmy doesn't even get a seat!
So alls well that ends well, huh! This bizarre little orb of clownliness made its way into a series staple, and our lives are all better for it! Thank goodness clowns are unanimously loved by all, with no negative connotations in popular culture whatsoever! And thank goodness we’re still not done, because there’s MORE clown cars to talk about under the cut! This post is gonna kill me!
Tumblr media
In a certain update for the aforementioned Mario Maker, the Clown Car gets a snazzy new paint job in the form of the Fire Koopa Clown Car (or the Fire Junior Clown Car, in this case)! It can spit out fireballs from its suspiciously puckered lips, letting you basically make shoot-em-up levels! Hot!
Tumblr media
Speaking of Mario Maker, you can make the Clown Car do this face by playing as Link, and dropping a bomb while riding it. Uh... Great! Try it on your friends.
Tumblr media
RemoCon Geta! Er... Clown. RemoCon Clown. In NSMBWii, Bowser Jr.’s second boss fight involves grabbing a Clown Car of your very own and duking it out in an electric arena! I LOVED this gimmick as a kid, and I’d replay the stage over and over just for this fight! So I guess Mario Maker kind of granted my wish, huh? On a different note, it’s very cute how “RemoCon” is a Japanese abbreviation for “Remote Controlled”. I think it’s more charming than just RC.
Tumblr media
In Mario Kart DS, Bowser’s Hurricane kart has a Clown Car motif, but like, as an actual vehicle! Sorry it’s so low-poly. Mario Kart DS is just like that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Prefer the more klassic kind of klown? The Koopa Clown from Mario Kart 7 onwards has you covered! Yeah, it’s called that, despite arguably being MORE of a car than the original! That’s actually the Clown Car’s original Japanese name!
Say, that’s an awful lot of Koopalings. Don’t they get their own cars too?
Tumblr media
Indeedaroo! Since all the Koopalings exist as alternate costumes for Bowser Jr. in Smash, they all get their very own Clown Cars! But they look a little off, with those cold dead eyes... according to the game’s Palutena’s Guidance, these are a mass-produced kind of Junior Clown Car, which I just love! Bowser Jr. gets preferential treatment for being Bowser’s son, while the Koopalings were... disowned, I guess. Isn’t it fun when Smash makes up new lore like that?
I don’t want to post all those images individually, so enjoy that screenshot of all of them from the wiki. It’s a lot nicer. You can look it up if you REALLY want to!
Tumblr media
And last but not least, it’s an actual clown car! Hey, at least it’s a real car this time!
Dang, that’s crazy. How do they all fit in there? Clowns are wild, man.

Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr - Exhibition
Well, here it is. The full exhibition bout between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. Was about what could be expected. Both guys looked good for two 50+ year olds with massive amounts of wear and tear on their bodies. It was no JCC Sr vs Arce though.

Wake Up America, and Smell the Anti-Semitism
Americans of all races and political outlooks revile and attack Jews with unprecedented glee, while American Jews would rather talk about anything else
BY EVE BARLOW
Tumblr media
I don’t think of Delaware as a center of anti-Semitic hate. But on the night of Aug. 26, the University of Delaware’s Chabad house was burned to the ground, causing an estimated $75,000 worth of damage. According to the state fire marshal, the fire was intentionally set. While the university’s president acknowledged that the site was “an active part of UD’s religious, faith, and spiritual diversity” the fire marshal’s office found no indication that this was a hate crime. Gov. John Carney called the crime “upsetting.”
Only three years earlier, in 2017, Gov. Carney was showing his solidarity and support while visiting the Siegel Jewish Community Center and its Albert Einstein Academy primary school in Wilmington after the JCC received five bomb threats in the space of two months. In February of this year, the same JCC reported that it’s still receiving bomb threats. Delaware’s Jewish community is pushing for an expansion of the state’s hate crime laws.
The pathway from experiencing casual hatred to receiving bomb threats to living communal life under siege to suffering defaced and burned down buildings is all too wearyingly familiar for Jews in Delaware, as well as in the traditional urban centers of American Jewish life. Horrifying footage from Brooklyn on August 29 showed two Haredi men being rammed by a car—an incident that seems no more politically determinable than the regular anti-Semitic chanting or vandalizing of Jewish property at Black Lives Matter marches, or white supremacist bomb threats.
Two weekends ago, a sign reading “The Jews Want a Race War” appeared over the I-405 freeway in Los Angeles. It was dangled by a man named Jon Minadeo Jr. One sign turned into two, with the adjacent sign reading “Honk if you know.” According to witnesses many cars honked. The sign was eventually removed.
The following day, Minadeo was filmed outside the Chabad in Marina del Rey, exercising his free speech rights against America’s Jews once more as part of a tour he dubbed “Name the Nose.” “These Jewish terrorists are the people behind 9/11,” he shouted on the steps. The white van he drove was graffitied with slogans that offer some of his conspiracy theories: “The Jews are spawns of Satan,” “Trump is owned by Jews,” “Jews run Hollywood.” His group, the Goyim Defense League, posted anti-Semitic flyers last year in San Francisco and run a YouTube-style site called Goyim TV.
What do all these incidents have in common? Not that they are the unique province of “the right” or “the left”—but that they are happening in America on a daily basis and both the mainstream press and the organized Jewish community seem determined to ignore them. Last summer, Armin Rosen documented the “routine” attacks upon the city’s visible Jews. “The increase in the number of physical assaults against Orthodox Jews in New York City is a matter of empirical fact,” he stated, while detailing the steep rise in numbers from the NYPD hate crime unit. The question Rosen raised then was why the country’s biggest wave of hate crimes was apparently not worthy of notice by any of the city’s major newspapers, the mayor’s office, the Justice Department, or civil rights groups; six months after his article was published, it was still the only long piece on the subject.
What became clear to me from the I-405 incident is that America’s Jews don’t see anti-Semitism, even when it’s dangling over a freeway in one of its most liberal cities in broad daylight. But perhaps it isn’t odd that mainstream media haven’t reported on it when American Jews won’t admit that anti-Semitism is a real problem in this country, and when so few of our high-profile Jews speak out against such attacks. Why would the media consider it of public interest if the Jews don’t?
It seems that American Jews don’t see anti-Semitism in America because they don’t want to, not because it isn’t real. They choose not to see it because it makes them uncomfortable. Or they only see it when it comes from the other “side.”

Have you ever been in/worked on a theater production?? If so, which one(s)?
i haaaaaave. mostly on the stagecrew side
currently:
not doing stagecrew now, even though i want to, but right now i’m doing a lot of work with my local BroadwayWorld office. i cover both national tours and local/community productions of shows and that involves interviewing cast/crew members, and then reviewing the show.
college:
i worked at the same little college theatre (like 130 seats) for all 4 years. i worked a variety of events and shows. sometimes there were dance competitions, lectures, readings, etc. i helped set up the stage, lights, sound, and i worked one of those three things during the show.
the only real play i can remember now that i did lights for in college (in that little theatre) was a college production of “For Colored Girls”. super moving show.
high school:
worked on crew for my school’s The Wizard of Oz. my and my best friend’s job was wrangling the 30some little kids who were playing the munchkins and flying monkeys etc.
worked on crew for my school’s Little Shop of Horrors. my and the same friend as above’s job was working the two spotlights. honestly my favorite stagecrew experience of my life.
i believe i worked props for my school’s production of Brighton Beach Memoirs
i don’t think i did crew but i did help take down the set of another show at my school, i think it was Seussical?
i volunteered at my middle/elementary school to help crew their production of Joseph. (i was like 14, and these fifth graders got mad at me because i forgot to wear all black. fun time.)
various other events and shows in high school bc i took the stagecrew class my school offered as an elective (fun times)
elementary school:
i did theatre camp at the local JCC and i played Interplanet Janet in Schoolhouse Rock (probably Jr.?)
there was another show i did in theatre camp that had something to do with Noah’s ark but i don’t remember what it was
i’m probably missing out on some stuff but i hope this was interesting to someone!
send me some fun apocalypse asks

Ten Rando Thoughts After A Big Boxing Weekend
Joey
May 8th, 2017
1- I think we all knew that Chavez Jr/Canelo was going to be an easy (sort of ) win for Canelo Alvarez but I feel like we all had hopes it'd be a little bit of a lot of fun. The problem, at least as it pertains to fun, is that Chavez Jr didn't bring his end of the bargain. As much as it is to see cool to see Canelo whip off combinations and show off his blink and you'll miss it improved defense, JCC Jr simply didn't show up for the big one. Now part of that is obviously due to Canelo but everything from the alleged gameplan (and I refuse to believe Nacho Beristain, a HOF trainer if there was one, would've ACTUALLY thought this gameplan) to the execution to the adaptability of JCC Jr was flat out painful. JCC could have and should have done a lot of things differently BUT perhaps, in the end, it merely boils down to the idea that one guy was there to win backed by super athletic talent, great coaching and vastly underrated technical skill vs a guy who was hoping to win backed by a superstar father, Bob Arum's ATG promotional push, a very limited on paper skill set and noway near enough talent or technique to truly compete. Now having said that...
2- While it didn't bother me, I don't know if I would've appreciated Max Kellerman and company essentially laughing at me for purchasing this event had I paid the full price. I thought Lampley, Jones and Kellerman all did a great job on the whole but Max's continuous almost verbatim "JCC Jr is all marketing banter and promotional push" type shtick probably made people who paid a lot of money for this event feel pretty dumb. Not that JCC Jr didn't do more than his part in that department already, mind you!
3- I mentioned this to the people watching the event and in hindsight, I feel even more confident in it. Talking about JCC Jr in shape is like talking about BJ Penn going back to 155 or Rampage with abs or whatever. It doesn't matter. It will never matter if he's in shape if the guy is shot. Even if you dislike JCC JR, there was a time where he was if nothing else a bundle of energy and body work. He was not a bad fighter; more of a lucky one who seemed to always catch the breaks lucky fighters normally get. When that's gone, it doesn't matter what shape he's in because the jig is basically up. BJ Penn, Rampage, JCC Jr, there reaches a point where it's no longer about what shape you're in and it's more about the tools or lack thereof you possess.
4- Bob Arum has said in the past that boxing undercards don't matter and yeah, he's pretty much right. Having said that, if you give fans SOMETHING underneath, even if that something is just a brawl between two B level guys or in the case of Matthyse/Lemeuix, you give us a B level slugger in a fight where he can throw down and show off a little vs relatively evenly matched opposition and see what happens! All we want are quick and painless appetizers to get us to the main course.
5- Going  back to Bob Arum right quick, IF we actually get Canelo-GGG (and until it happens, I'm going to live in this prepare for disappointment in the event of a joyous surprise),this feels like the first time in a LONG time that Bob Arum will feel completely out of the loop as it pertains to the big picture of boxing. He's essentially left with three fighters who move serious stroke and two of them will arguably never be big PPV movers (Crawford and Lomachenko). The third one is a guy who has seen his stock basically erode in such a tragic fashion in Manny Pacquaio who is fighting some guy in Australia in front of what I'm assuming will be a less than captivated PPV audience. Golden Boy Promotions may be laughable at times when they do things and outright sad when Oscar De La Hoya's continuous struggles with sobriety became public knowledge but they have the biggest active draw in the biz (Canelo), the ability to on paper make a fight with anybody and seemingly good standing with HBO and Showtime as well. They also have an ESPN deal which is SOMETHING at least. Assuming their financial situation can clean itself up somewhat, they've got momentum. As much as we all laugh about the PBC, Al Haymon's obviously got a grip on this sport that's undeniable. European promoters have bigger and bigger hands in the mix, complete with at least one major show a year that does insane gate numbers. Yvon Michel, Lou Dibella and Kathy Duva all feature prominent roles in boxing and so does Arum----but man does it feel like he's sort of out of the loop here. Top Rank feels almost like it's become the forgotten brand of boxing after competing for so many years with the likes of Don King, GBP, Main Events and so on so forth.
Now a lot of this is simply bad luck. A lot of the Top Rank stable at the top half were guys who all fell off at the same time (Pacquaio, Cotto to an extent, Sergio Martinez, Kelly Pavilik, Juan Manuel Lopez, JCC Jr, Nonito Donaire and so on so forth) and even if they weren't PPV movers, they were attention getters. Arum has plenty of great fighters in his stable and he has connections and working relationships with just about everyone but its so weird to see big fights being made and Bob not being apart of the discussion. Over the years, Arum has almost seemed like a guy who did things with an angst for everyone from the media to his own customers and it's such a strange dichotomy to see him almost hanging on the outskirts. Maybe it's a rebuilding year or maybe Top Rank is missing what everyone else seems to be relatively hitting on. It's definitely a weird year so far for the Bobfather.
6- Using that line of logic, I WONDER if Bob would maybe make peace with his hated rival Dana White to try and work together to put together Manny Pacquaio/Conor MCGregor as an acceptable back up plan if Floyd/Conor falls through.
7- SPEAKING of that fight, if GGG vs Canelo legitimately pushes Floyd/Conor out of existence into 2017 and Conor returns to MMA to, ya know, defend his titles? I think we need to put Golovkin and Alvarez in the boxing and UFC Hall of Fame at the same time.
8- I don't know if I should be concerned about this (probably I'm betting) BUT if one of these ABC orgs complicates the fucking picture of this mega fight, I will be writing my congresspeople in protest of such a national catastrophe.
9- There has been scuttlebutt from some folks about the pomp regarding the announcement of Golovkin/Alvarez. Allow me to discuss some anecdotal evidence that may or may not shape a picture for y'all. Friend of mine owns a restaurant that was showing the fight. He told me the house was fuller than usual----but the clientele was not the same as a UFC event or even one of the big WWE events. "Boxing isn't dead but it's fanbase is a dialysis machine away from being dead" was his joke to me and it's something you hear ALL the time. Boxing draws an older audience like pro baseball does,, in fact when Thurman/Mitchell had their AWESOME fight that did an amazing number, the average age of the viewer was trending way close to 55 than ever before. It's an old audience-----and something like this, even if it may be a little too hokey or as I read a few people writing "WWE/UFC esque", it's still something different. Maybe it fails but there's NOTHING wrong with appealing to a younger crowd that's all into cool video packages and shock value. You can do it once or twice and it won't hurt the legitimacy of boxing if such a concept even exists. Just watch the fight if the wackiness offends you.
And let's furthermore be 100% honest here. Canelo as an A side and Golovkin as an A side have NEVER done seriously big business in comparison to Floyd or Manny or Oscar or so on so forth. Without Floyd or Cotto (a proven A lister with the benefit of a Mexico/PR buzz), it's believed Canelo has topped out at 450K (I trust Iole over Dan Rafael on the Khan number) with other shows like Angulo, Lara and Smith all dancing between 250K and 375K or so. A far cry from Floyd and Manny were either actively toppling or dancing around 1M PPV buys. Golovkin's PPV offerings have been really, really, really poor for a fighter who is all action, has the big fight mystique and is the darling of hardcore fans and casual TV viewers alike. We love to believe styles make fights and all that but sometimes you gotta try big for big fights. You have to put a little effort into this game because contrary to popular belief for most boxing scribes, putting Canelo and GGG on a poster and shouting "SO BUY IT!" is not going to work. This is the biggest fight boxing can make at this time-----so it needs to do really well and really well is not 600K or below. This should sell 1,000,000 PPVs. Let's fucking try to promote this thing like it can accomplish that.
10- One thing which came up recently was the idea that JCC Jr finessed the boxing audience for his entire career and I find that grossly unfair. Dude debuted with no amateur fight experience and Arum had him basically main eventing like 20 fights into his career vs fighters who were at the time way better than he was. JCC Jr is a victim of his name and in some ways his own laziness but you know what?  The attempt to make him a superstar did him no favors either.

Since it’s actually happening, do you have any thoughts on Andy Ruiz Jr. vs Chris Arreola?
I haven’t seen all of Arreola’s most recent performances but the last two or three times I did see him fight, he looked shot. Can still take a punch but can’t hold the iniative. Showed life in the Kownacki fight but still lost wide to a less powerful puncher than Ruiz. Expecting it will be a big Mexican-American affair in the same vein as Canelo-JCC Jr was, which is fun.
I think Ruiz takes it relatively easy, even if he doesn’t really change anything up. I just don’t expect Arreola to suddenly decide to box off the back foot like AJ did.

Kilas Balik 2019
dimulYaudahlah yaa memang 2019 ini penuh dengan warna warni , many things happened this year.
Ciletuh is such a good place to go. Sama ngurus akun gopay gue yg masalah, dan akhirnya bisa juga ditarik dan bayar pajak motor. Oyaa sama dompet dam segala isinya hilang huhu
Hmm, maret. Yg pertama ketemu sim a gue Akhirnya.
Jadi ketua pusing wk. Sama yg paling spektakuler tentu ajang pemilu yg hura huranya udah berlangsung setahun sebelumnya.
Mei, pas banget mulai puasa di bulan ini, yg paling keinget tentua aja nyiapin kepanitiaan ramadhan biar makin efisien. Kayaknya besok besok gamau lagi jadi ketua, mau yg spesifik aja dan ga banyak berurusan dg manusia. Udah sih may begitu saja
Juni, balik ke kampung mama papa yah. Ketemu lagi sama sepupu sepupu semakin besar dan smakin mager. Seperti biasa main ke pantai. Bedanya tambah ke guci juga. Kapok wes wisata pas lebaran. Gakira kira. Selebihnya paling ke reuni ika uns, sama yah mulai TFI udah
Juli yaa. Oiyaa bulan itu agil nikah ga nyangka secepat itu. Selanjutnya TFI berjalan lagi, kalomanda mulai banyak permintaan lagi, dan tentu saja menyambut ratu ke Jakarta. Grogi banget ketemu lagi yaampun perasaan yg sulit terlukis. Ngobrol lagi langsung tapi sayangnya akhir bulan pas ketemu lagi malah ditutup dengan berantem. Huhu.
Agustus, dimulai dari nikahan Imam dan ichu, aww akhirnya dua sejoli ini menikah. sampe merelakan diri malam naik bis ga jelas gara gara pergi dadakan, ketemu sama magry dan akbar and their fam. yang gabisa dilupain juga setelah baikan lagi we met again love. mencoba pengalaman baru, dan berakhir dengan negrjain tugas and my phone carried away. diakhiri dengan bertemu nenike dan acompanied her to her place. mereka sangat mirip
September, dimulai dari acara muharraman bersama permata, its a crowded yet. dari personil 4 jadi 3 dan pada sibuk, cukup sulit buat ngehandle acara besar yang melibatkan anak anak. selain itu ada baksos di cibinong, ikan bakarnya mantaap. and then, tentu saja. sepertinya bulan itu aku sampe 3 kali bertemu dengannya. mengunjunginya itu menyenangkan sekali. jadi selalu ada rutinitas untuk menanti tiap weekend biar bisa bertemu
Oktober, aku daftar Latihan kerja. ternyata masuk tata busan majority mamah mamah wkwk. 15 dari 20 kayaknya, and i the only one. setelah temen lelaki mengundurkan diri pas udah masuk, bad!.tapi lumayan akhirnya baru sadar, jahit itu sulit, apalagi bikin pola :”).
Desember, menikmati patah hati, dan mendengarkan confess darinya. akhirnya ya gitu deh. mungkin desember selesai aku baru bisa lanjut nulis, how about my december.
