She may have stadiums chanting her name, but to him, she'd always just be Delilah. Immensely talented, absolutely, but also just his friend. One who could surprise his girlfriend with a moment she wouldn't expect because that was the kind of heart she had. "Yeah?" He said, grinning brightly as she agreed to it. Not that he thought she'd deny him. "We just got back together, and I want to give her a moment not everyone gets. And I'll seriously owe you big if you can make this happen." But he knew she would, that was just how cool Delilah Morris was.

Delilah grinned mischievously at him as they discussed song choices. "Suggestions, huh? Well, since I'd never dream of tossing them aside, and you've heard just about all my tunes," she mused, her gaze fixed on him. Beck's suggestions for covers did make her arch an eyebrow. She had dabbled in covers before, but for her performance, in the heart of Merrock, she had her heart set on delivering her own creations, what the audience expected from her. A playful glint danced in her eyes as she teased him. "You do have an impressively keen memory, don't you?" She remarked with a smirk. But when Beck proposed dedicating a song to Shoshanna Hart, Delilah's expression shifted to one of genuine delight. "Oh, Beck, that's a wonderful idea," she gushed. "I've got just the song in mind, one that's perfect for her and you." @beck-hartman

There’s that part of me that thinks, “this is so unlike him!” But maybe this was him all along, and we just bought the image.

Or, there’s that thing about how men will change for a woman they’re serious about. That seems off given what we’ve seen from the two of them in the past but who the hell knows anymore.

Here's the thing. Many years ago, when I was new in the fandom during JS Round One, there were a certain group of fans who like calling him Chris Kardashian, because of how they saw him as a stunt queen during all those shenanigans of the time.

And honestly - go back and really look through how many solo pap walks he's done over the years. People like to drag Minka because of the pap photos of them together in 2012-2013, but he did just as many solo pap walks that year as pap walks with her.

He has always, always loved the notice. He craves adoration.

Now, he toned it down in recent years, redirected it as "an interest in politics," or into think pieces of interviews instead of his early day bro fests. But, still, he loves the notice.

And, now, he's yoked to a woman who doesn't care if she's famous or infamous, just as long as she's mentioned. So, yeah, I think it's more his older tendencies being dragged back up to the surface and breaking through that really good PR facade he built up over the years.

as the anon of the evil/mean tb asks on here, BFDIA 12 was a ray of sunlight into my evil hideout. (bfdia 12 spoilers incoming)

I LOVE BFDIA!!! in TPOT, it feels like tb is more of js mindlessly following gb. At best he has input with their shared planning gag where they continue each other's sentences, but in BFDIA?? TB has SO MUCH more expression, and initiates WAYY more doings and conversation, especially in this episode. I love their friendship I would squish them both lovingly. It's like their input in TPOT is like (gb) 75/25 (tb), but in BFDIA it's 50/50. Also gb was so badass that episode??? but the amount of mischievous tb content here was BEAUTIFUL. i was giggling the entire time he is SO awesome sauce. The scandalous photo, the events in the theater, the absolute VIOLATION of nickel hiding in TB's recovery center, it's perfect. I LOVE him.

Although, this made TB feel a bit like a placeholder. Like; he wasn't THIS mean when fries was still in team no name. feels like he took fries' place with the mean-ishness. But whatever direction jnj is taking with his characteristics, it's GOOD. What i wish they're going to do with him is to also befriend other objects, because as much as i love gb's and tb's friendship, it would be interesting to see TB interact more with others instead of just hanging with GB. I'll take anything. PLEASE

My inspiration to write a Fez/Buddy story is growing stronger. It would be a One Difference story that takes place (or starts) in season 1. I already have the premise.

I often come up with new fic ideas when I'm writing a long story. The original premise for Jackie Stargazer popped into my head way back when I wrote Beneath a Shattered Sky -- and I put an Easter egg about it in chapter seven of BaSS. Ten or so years later, I finished and posted JS.

The passion I have for writing certain fics can stay with me a long time. I wrote the original brief outline for Those Who Play with Demons in 2014 (it was terrible). I tossed it, and almost a decade later I'm close to finishing the ridiculously long but so-much-fun to write first draft. 🙈🙉🙊

We'll see if that Fez/Buddy fic stays with me. No clue if it will, but I really like the potential that exists in the dynamic between these two characters. It wouldn't be an angst-fest, but the truth of the era would be part of the story's tapestry.

I kind of regret choosing my grand fest team immeditly instead of waiting cuz I've just gone off of the theme, and didn't really give the next game implications any thought.

If it was just a normal splatfest then yes. Present any day of the week, but the potential for the next few games has only now weighed on my mind. I just thought of past and present as "Great turf war game" and "squids in space". Yes, both are possible and honestly squids in space does NOT appeale to me at all, but I only now realize that they're a lot more nuanced than that.

Team past:

Most Likley would try to return to splatoons roots as a franchise gameplay wise. Maybe simplifying the mechanics back to splat 1 level and develop off of those, as well as more splat 1 type level desgin. Story wise, yes, Possibly a great turf war, but also something more attune to the splat 1 story. Saving the world and all that.

Team present:

Would most likely stick with the mechanics and style of gameplay we have now, but still develop off of those mechanics. The Squid surge and roll may get more developed, and see more use. Story wise....I'm not sure. We'd get to see more of the world maybe. We'd also keep the current trend of the world developing with ours.

Team future:

More new features to diversify and expand the game with. More experimentation for the franchise as a whole. Story wise, we may move further into the future, and get further away from our current story

For me, all of these are appealing in some way. I would love to see a Great Turf war story going over the tensions of the time, and look more deeply into Craig and Octavio's relationship. I'd love to see more of our current story, and develop the world we're in further, look outside of inklings and octolings. And seeing more and newer features for the series to expand upon and experiment with would be great!

...but at the same time, I don't want to lose the world of splatoon advancing with ours, and I'd like the current splatoon stage desgin to be...like...better and all that. I'd like to see more from this series.

I definitly jumped the gun with assuming that if past or future won they'd ditch the advancing with our world thing immediately, I doubt that'd actually happen...but it's still a possibility.

Personally, I think the series needs a bit of EVERYTHING regarding the past present and future. I think it needs to take more notes and look back at its roots in splatoon 1 writing, and in some gameplay sense. I think it needs to develop the current mechanics to give a deeper sense to the game. I think the game needs more mechanics as well, and more gameplay modes to diversify the game more.

I want specials more like the ones from the past, I want the convince and ideas from the current world developed, I want new and fresh mechanics to develop the game and keep it fresh feeling.

But I DON'T want to loose the world developing with ours, I don't want to be rid of the story of the Agents, i still want them to be expanded upon, I don't want them to go TOO far into the future and turn the game into full on fantasy, I don't want the series to loose the Sci-fi aspect that it has (and is sort of struggling to maintain). I don't want the series to stay too much the same as it is now!

It's complicated. Each side has a positive and negative...But...I do think that for the series itself, developing what we have now is very important. It's weird, trying to predict what the dev team will do if one of the team wins...

I don't think they'll take it too literally...but COD hinging the future of the series, other than just the theme of the next game js STRESSFULL...

I'm happy to be team Present (let's go lesbians) but MAN the other teams have just as good possibilities...

js has no luck with managers. earn met js at bday party and disappeared. dew loved the boys, but they were unemployed. while doc was studying, sea could have gotten some solo work with the same makeup, but that didn't happen. it feels like no one knows what to do with them or where to put them. hey hello, you have a dermatologist with education and a clean face and a charming photogenic guy who can sell any product. what is your problem huh?

i apologize for answering these two messages together, i hope that's okay, you guys just both brought up the issue of jimmysea's managers and unfortunately that's not a subject i have much knowledge of ;;;;;; for example, i had no idea they changed four managers already!!!!! i mean i know GMMTV switch those often to better manage the schedules of the artists who are gonna work together in some way, but honestly four different managers in the span of three (?) years kinda seems A LOT to me

it's also kinda interesting to notice that in GMMTV there doesn't seem to be a separation between the roles of managers (usually have only one client, are not regulated, cannot arrange for casting calls, do handle media exposure and public relations) and of agents (have a roster of clients, are regulated, are legally permitted to negotiate contracts for work), which could definitely be an issue when it comes to promotions, but i have no idea how things work in the BL industry in particular so i don't want to say anything without the right informations

tho lbr we all know GMMTV treats jimmysea pretty poorly and criminally underuses them, so even the best manager/agent could only do so much if the production company itself doesn't give them opportunities.......

HOWEVER!!!!!! we have an event on october 4, the fan fest in japan on october 9, and now the bookexpo on october 22 to promote last twilight so at least that's SOMETHING. NOW THE ONLY THING WE HAVE TO DO IS MANIFEST JIMMYSEA FOR GMMTV 2024!!!!!!!!!!

lmaoo i don't plan on going on a break or anything like that. that's why i cut boo fest short though, so i don't feel the need to take a break or anything because i found myself lacking inspiration when i was writing for some of the last prompts and i didn't like how some of them turned out. this being something i do in my free time makes it more enjoyable for me, and i'm not burning myself out this way.

also, thank you so much. i love hearing that someone else enjoys what i write <3
