#Jamie like damn I’d break up with me for Roy Kent too while Roy is like wtf is happening

Might add a fic to my work on when I finish other stuff pile because

Roy/Jamie/Keeley amnesia fic where Jamie’s brain gets injured and he loses a solid chunk of his memory and

He doesn’t remember the Keeley break up and doesn’t realize he’s not dating her still at first

Keeley finds that out after she goes to see him and he kisses her and she’s internally like oh god I’m going to have to tell Roy about this and he’s going to murder him even though he has a pretty solid reason for it

Jamie also doesn’t remember playing with Roy or them hating each other

Roy is PISSED at Jamie over the kiss

Roy also takes it personally that apparently Jamie doesn’t remember their rivalry and now he’s just one-sided hating a man that suffered a brain injury and looking like a dick while Keeley clearly feels bad for him

So Roy goes along with Keeley when she goes to visit him again to try to prove to himself that Jamie’s just as much of a prick memory loss or not to justify his still shit talking him and to revive their rivalry and restore the natural order of things and make sure Jamie doesn’t make a move on Keeley

But instead Jamie’s in awe that Roy Kent is visiting him and when he finds out they’re together he turns to Keeley like yeah well I get why you broke up with me if you’re dating Roy fucking Kent now

And Roy has no fucking idea what to do with that and when they leave, he insists that Jamie’s playing mind games with him and who knows if he even really forgot as much as he claims or had memory loss at all or if he’s just fucking with him and Keeley’s like babe calm the fuck down, he’s not faking amnesia to spite you and Roy’s like are you sure though

And Roy has all the time in the world now that he’s retired to hyper focus on proving that Jamie’s still just as much of a prick and just faking being semi tolerable and he visits Jamie a totally normal sane amount of times for a man that hates his fucking guts but now his plan’s backfiring because instead of hating Jamie and proving himself right, Jamie’s becoming genuinely tolerable and he’s starting to actually give a fuck about his health and well-being and now Roy and Keeley are the only people outside of Georgie and Simon that regularly spend time with Jamie because this started in his everyone hates him era
