which of the spanish girls speak fluent catalan? is it just alexia putellas, ona batlle, laia codina and aitana?

hi anon - it's a lot more. essentially, catalan is spoken in many different communities in spain. so any spanish player born and/or raised in catalunya, valencia, the balearic islands (like mallorca), and parts of murcia and aragon, should be able to speak and understand catalan. (there are technically different dialects of catalan in these places).

anyway, even if catalan isn't the primary language spoken at home, the player should still be able to understand it (like patri) if they are generally from those communities. and if players go to la masia or the barça youth teams, then they certainly will get opportunities to learn catalan there, too.

so, let's add to your list (this is not exhaustive and there are certainly more):
