jangmi was propped up on a pillow, her headphones on and eyes closed as she listened to her playlist playing lowly. visions of the night before flashed through her head as she gripped the white blankets.

pain, fear, anger, and guilt are all the things she felt in that moment. she tried her best to stay positive, she really did. but every time pain shot through her head or the side of her face, she was reminded of that awful time.

momo and jihyo had stayed with the staff and jangmi in the hospital room. jihyo had left somewhere and momo remained asleep, wrapped up in a blanket but still in her stage clothes.

the other members went back to the hotel as momo and jihyo kept them updated on jangmi and her injuries.

a sudden knock on her door and rough shuffling caused her eyes to pop open. a blue haired male rushed in and over to where she lay.

“lix,” she smiled slightly, her eyes turning into round crescents. felix returned the smile, but with sadness in his eyes. he grabbed her hand giving it a firm squeeze. momo had woken up and went to find jihyo to give the two some privacy.

“hey,” he spoke in a soft voice. she could tell that it took everything in him to not breakdown right there. his voice wavering everytime he talked. “how are you feeling?”

“like someone whacked me in the head and I had to get stitches. how about you?” jangmi replied jokingly. lix nodded, giving her scars a glance for the first time. his heart sank at the red and purple on the side of her head.

he brung his hand to her jaw to get a better look, gently turning her head to the side. he had to swallow the lump in his throat as he analyzed the wound and bruises. once again, jangmi knew that he’d be a bit emotional and feel guilty.

felix looked down to where their hands were linked. “i’m sorry.”

“baby”

“lix, look at me.” he slowly picked up his head, eyes glossy. She caressed his cheek, smiling at him once more.

“honey, it’s not your fault. don’t ever blame yourself like that, okay?” her brows furrowed as she spoke to him in a firm, yet soft voice. she wrapped her arms around his shoulders, engulfing him in a tight hug.

he nodded his head slightly, “i just-“

he couldn’t even speak at that point, his voice cracking at each word. “i just hate how this happened to you. you said not to blame myself but that’s all I can do.”

jangmi allowed felix to quietly sob into her shoulder for a minute, giving him some time to calm down.

“felix, it’s not your fault. just because they’re from your fandom? baby, there’s always gonna be people like that no matter where we go, no matter how long we’re together. we’re both at a point in our careers where people all around the world love us and would do damn-near anything to receive that love back. whether it be romantically or platonically.” jangmi ranted. felix listened to her closely, still hating that this even happened.

that she had to be sitting in that emergency room, a large scar drawn across her features.

she continued to reassure him and comfort him. he still felt bad in the end but he was happier because of his partner’s affection.

Jung Doyun, antes Lee Donggun, foi logo abandonado ao nascer.

Sua mãe, uma prostituta sul-coreana que trabalhava no Japão, engravidou no auge de seus 19 anos. Estava há pouco naquele país depois de fugir de um relacionamento abusivo, conseguindo um tipo de “sugar daddy” no Japão, que pagou sua viagem para lá. Mas logo a garota descobriu que de bom aquele homem não tinha nada, era apenas outro coreano que fugiu da miséria em seu país natal, arrastando-a para começar a vender seu corpo para sustentar a ambos.

Não demorou muito a engravidar, não sabendo se era de seu antigo relacionamento ou do atual ou de um de seus clientes. Vamos ser sinceros, Jihye não era flor que se cheirasse. Talvez ela valesse a mesma coisa que seus parceiros. Dopando clientes para roubá-los, envenenando ex-namorados para se livrar deles… Não era crime se não fosse pega, correto?

Quando descobriu que estava grávida, até tentou abortar, mas não era algo legalizado e fácil de se conseguir. Conhecia clínicas ilegais, obviamente, mas também temia que acabasse morrendo. A única coisa que valorizava era sua vida.

Por fim, levou a gestação até o final, mas com uma única intenção: vender o bebê que carregava em seu ventre.

Conseguiu um casal japonês que pagaria bem pela criança que gerava. Eles não conseguiam ter filhos e já beiravam os cinquenta anos, tornando-se ainda mais difícil. Obviamente Jihye se aproveitou da oportunidade que caiu dos céus. Era mimada com uma boa alimentação, roupas caras e todo pré-natal sendo pagos pelo casal.

Tudo correu bem durante toda a gestação, assim como no nascimento. Era um lindo garotinho, que ganhou o nome de Lee Donggun pela legítima mãe ou Kobayashi Yuki, pelos pais adotivos. Yuki significa “esperança”.

Apesar de morar no Japão, cresceu usando seu nome coreano já que era a origem de sua mãe de sangue e os pais respeitavam sua origem apesar da vontade de chamá-lo pelo próprio sobrenome e não por Lee.

Jihye nunca mais apareceu na vida do filho. Seu último contato foi na saída da maternidade.

Mas como se fosse sina ou algo vindo de seu DNA, o comportamento de Donggun era muito difícil. Sempre arranjava confusão na escola, metendo-se em brigas o tempo todo, fora o comportamento agressivo com os professores. No auge da sua adolescência, seus pais adotivos já tinham mais de 60 anos, não tinham energia para lidar com o moleque que criaram com tanto amor. Todo dia, antes de dormir, Yumi se perguntava onde errou para que seu querido Yuki agisse daquela forma tão desproporcional com sua criação.

Os Kobayashi eram uma família tradicional, que sempre seguiram tradições, tinham uma boa educação, bons empregos e ótimas conexões. Seu único erro foi comprar uma criança de uma prostituta, mas, naquela época, era o sonho de suas vidas: serem pais. Aquele foi seu único e maior erro, que acabaria com suas vidas.

Com quinze anos, Donggun já fumava e consumia inúmeros tipos de bebidas alcoólicas. Era raro vê-lo em aula uma vez que sempre as matava. Àquela altura da vida, no auge de sua puberdade, usava alguns tipos de drogas ilegais para aguentar seus estros. Já era esperado que fosse um alfa por seu comportamento, tamanho e estrutura corporal. Nem havia chegado no limite do crescimento e já passava dos 1,80. No começo, era insuportável aguentar alguns tipos de cheiros, chegando a dar enjoo e ânsia muitas vezes, ainda mais em locais fechados. As febres o derrubavam e quando se juntavam com as insuportáveis dores de cabeça, era ainda pior. Sofria demais tanto com o pré-estro quanto com o estro.

Usava todos os tipos de supressores que encontrou pela frente, chegando a se dopar num ponto que desmaiou algumas vezes.

Como não trabalhava, passou a vender as drogas que consumia junto a seu grupo de amigos, lucrando bem com aquilo. Afinal, era fácil enganar estudantes para começar a usar entorpecentes e também de supressores ilegais, que eram mais potentes que os legalizados. Tudo estava muito bem, até ser pego pela polícia. Deu sorte de ser muito novo e não acabou atrás das grades, mas, naquela noite, tudo mudou. Ao chegar em casa, Takashi, o homem que o criou e que considerava ser seu verdadeiro pai, disse que o ensinaria a ser homem de uma vez por todas. Estava cansado de Donggeun fazendo o que queria, quando queria e quase matando sua esposa de preocupação. Não conhecia mais aquele que cuidou desde o primeiro dia de vida.

Aquele não era o filho que desejava. Nem soube dizer se um dia foi.

Na hora da raiva, o homem pegou um pedaço de vara e passou a espancar o adolescente, que não conseguiu se defender por ser de supetão. Nunca havia levado sequer um tapa naquela casa. Yumi, desesperada, tentou parar o marido, mas em vão. Takashi era um homem corpulento de quase dois metros enquanto ela era uma senhora baixinha e acometida por doenças.

Naquela noite, Donggun apanhou como nunca em sua vida.

O homem só parou quando os vizinhos ouviram a gritaria e correram para ajudar na situação. Àquela altura, o adolescente já estava completamente machucado, suas costas contendo a maior parte das marcas, os machucados chegando a manchar sua camiseta de sangue. Estava um caco.

Depois que a polícia foi acionada, nunca mais Donggun teve um lar. Dali foi para um orfanato por ainda ser menor de idade. Por um tempo, precisou entrar na linha ou iria para a cadeia. A polícia estava de olho. Muito atenta.

Yumi, sua mãe adotiva, ainda o visitava. Implorou de joelhos para o filho para ser perdoada, mas apenas recebeu o silêncio. Ele não tinha mãe, não tinha pai, não tinha família. Cortou completamente o contato com os pais adotivos.

Após atingir a maioridade, teve que se sustentar. Trabalhando em bares, lojas de conveniência, restaurantes, baladas, de tudo um pouco. E foi nos bares que encontrou velhos amigos e voltou a vender entorpecentes. Não utilizava mais. Estava limpo. Mas isso não o impedia de lucrar com isso.

Após juntar um bom dinheiro, fez algo que nem ele mesmo esperava de si. Iria retornar ao país de sua origem. Nunca sequer pisou lá, mas, de repente, sentiu-se curioso. E sabia que seu ramo era bem popular lá.

Aos vinte e cinco anos, saiu do país que residia com destino a Seul, na Coreia do Sul. Havia arrumado um lugar para ficar, ainda tinha um bom dinheiro guardado com seus negócios ilegais.

Para ser sincero, não era sua intenção permanecer no Japão, nunca foi. Mas para sair precisava de um plano, dinheiro, um teto, dinheiro, saber falar sua língua materna, dinheiro… Bom, partiu com um plano, um coreano mais ou menos e dinheiro. Era o que precisava.

Assim que chegou em solo coreano, conseguiu uma identidade falsa, afinal seu nome já era fichado e não queria sequer lembrar do nome daquela que nem chegou a conhecer. A partir daquele dia era Jung Doyun. Lee Donggun estava morto junto a Kobayashi Yuki. Morto e enterrados a sete palmos.

Era uma nova pessoa. Ali na Coreia seria apenas um segurança comum na frente dos olhos de muitos, mas, por trás dos muros da Vogue, era um dos cabeças do tráfico de drogas da região. A venda ilegal de supressores era sua especialidade.

Nunca conheceu sua mãe, nem nunca teve curiosidade. Mesmo quando se sentia observado quando criança, não olhava para trás.

Seu começo no mundo das drogas foi aos quinze anos, onde os supressores o salvaram e ainda utiliza até hoje. Apesar do receio de ser pego, é literalmente o que pôs comida na sua mesa.

Apesar de seu passado sombrio e de seu envolvimento com o tráfico, não aparenta nada disso, sendo apenas um segurança bonito da badalada Vogue.

the girls seemed to really enjoy this comeback

fans, however, noticed that things seemed to be a bit off with najoo and many questioned it, but never received a straight answer as to what was up with that

they also noticed that there seemed to be a bit of tension between some of the girls, but they were all quick to play it off

they were nominated for their first win !!! which made all of the girls super happy during this era

fans noticed della interacting with all of the other girls more and more this comeback ( their personally favorites were 99 line and della and taeha ! )

jangmi started to really step up as the leader during this time and the fans loved it ( many compilations videos of jangmi being the ‘best’ leader popped up during this era )

their weren’t many blueteez interactions this era because the boys weren’t promoting at this time which made the raretinys a little bit sad

jangmi and jinri had writing credits on all the songs on the mini album

they also worked together to produce liar and jinri produced really on her own

these were their first songs written without any outside help and the girls are really proud of them

there were many hints during this comeback of the girls getting a new member in the following comebacks ( from hidden figures in the music videos to the girls leaving a bit of a space between them like there should be another member ) and fans went wild with the thought of ot6 blue moon

⇝A/N: I really am sorry about the wait on this. I’ve been in such a slump lately that I’m not too happy with this part. But i needed the written part before I could continue with texts

As much as you adored Jangmi, you couldn't help but question her thought process... and her music taste. Both had brought you to your current predicament; sitting awkwardly in a room full of chattering fangirls and wishing your best friend had thought ahead.

Sure, you enjoy lots of music, but something about BTS rubbed you the wrong way. You aren't positive exactly what but something keeps you from getting involved. You can't help but mutter under your breath, wishing your could just get it over with and leave. 

Sadly, that's not how these fansigns work. 

You had hoped you'd be sitting by Jangmi right now but because they handed out the seat numbers randomly, you were at the back while she sat in the front. You had tried to trade numbers but no one wanted to give up their early numbered seat, and there was no way Jangmi would abandon hers to sit with you. She wanted to meet them more than anything as soon as possible. 

So she was buzzing in her seat as you sat grumbling in yours. 

Your attention is pulled to your phone early on and you barely focus on the screams and chatter of the people around you. At least until your row stands and someone taps your shoulder to suggest you should too. Honestly, you didn't think  it had been all that long but the fact it was your turn showed just how absorbed you had been until now. 

While on your way to the platform the band sits on, you heard Jangmi stage whisper for your attention. You blink in confusion but trail away to see what she wants anyways. 

"You can't go up there without the albums photobook, Y/N!" She sounded vaguely panicked, "Didn't I give one to you?" 

You shake your head, mumbling about her forgetfulness again. Jangmi digs into her bag, searching for a moment before pulling out a photobook, little labeled tabs along the side. 

"How did I forget....?" She pouts cutely, "And don't worry! I already wrote questions for them. Now shoo!! Get on up there!" 

You want to ask what exactly she means by questions but she's already ushering you away. The table goes by fast, none of the men really sticking in your mind; they sign the book, read whatever question Jangmi wrote, and write down an answer... probably. A couple really try to interact but you honestly have nothing to say. You don't intend to be rude but you were dragged here with no real desire to meet them. 

However, things turn around when you get to the end of the table. The man before you has somewhat blue hair, clearly faded rather than freshly dyed, but that's not what catches your attention. 

His eyes. 

You can't help but stare as you watch them morph from grey, to something you've never seen before. He still hasn't looked up from signing the book and you take a quick look behind you to see Jangmi. Your breath catches when you see her jacket, no longer the darker grey that you saw when you just talked to her. 

"You didn't write a question for me?" 

You whip your gaze back to him, eyes wide at the man you vaguely remember Jangmi calling 'Sugar'. He notices your terrified expression and catches your eyes with his own. 

Slowly, his own eyes widen as you assume the world fills with blue. You barely notice your breathing speeding up until he asks if you're okay, then the breaths turn to gasping as you stand suddenly and run away from the table. 

You hear both the man and Jangmi shout after you but you ignore it. You have to get out, away from everything.
