Guess who is not too excited to be asking for money? Me. But my truck broke down and the $500+ fix I had to put twords it didn't fix it. So now I'm sort of screwed financially because I still need to pay bills and put more down to fix my truck. I'm also stuck 5 hours away from my college because I was visiting my hometown for the week to celebrate my birthday.

I was paid Thursday and this "fix" wiped out my entire paycheck.

Update: Originally was going to be fine at the $600. However, the last thing they were doing was an oil change on her. When they cranked her up they found out the wires in the front tire are exposed. Badly. This tacks on an extra $375 for the tires, at the cheapest. Which as you can imagine, I still haven't been paid yet and this is getting more expensive. I'm still stuck 5hrs away from college. It's bad enough they are not letting me take that truck out of the lot - those tires would blow and the ensuing accident would make my hydroplaning three years ago look like a joke.

The last person sent $300 via PayPal, setting me over the 1k goal I had. Because it was PP, I should be able to fast transfer it and pay the last bit I need to get my truck back today. I'll take her for a test drive and if I'm lucky there should be nothing else wrong with her and I can drive back to college tomorrow morning.

They did the work on her, my mom authorized it - they finished yesterday. But I couldn't get it back until payment was given in full. They don't do payment plans or anything of that nature. Hopefully nothing else is wrong with it either.

Put On Your Raincoats | Sorority Pink & Sorority Pink 2: Hell Week Initiation (Holliday, 1989)

I decided to give these a look after the Rialto Report published an article about the Pink Ladies Social Club, a support group for female porn stars founded by Porsche Lynn, Angel Kelly, Nina Hartley, and Jeanna Fine, and reading that they made these. As you can guess from the title, it's about a sorority and the usual business they get up to: fucking, sucking, etc. I've never been in a sorority. Because I'm a dude. But I've never been in a frat either. So I only know what the movies tell me. And this one tells that's what they get up to.

But while I wouldn't say it subverts the usual frathouse boner comedy tropes, at least for the first instalment it takes a more relaxed approach to the material. The emphasis is less on pranks and antagonism and more on the camaraderie and friendship between the sisters. In the second instalment we get to the hazing rituals, and even then senior sorority member Sharon Kane insists on safety. But she also says "Psychological terror is far worse than physical pain." So it is not a perfect movie in that respect.

This is also notable for having a pretty stacked cast. A lot of your favourites from the era are here, and at least the core group has pretty strong chemistry. And on the male side we get Tom Byron doing a Southern accent and in the second installment Joey Silvera doing... I dunno. Personally I wish we got a bit more Jeanna Fine. So it is not a perfect movie in that respect either.

Directing duties are handled by Jim Holliday, who I understand is best known for writing notable early guides to pornographic movies. (I've seen his work brought up by some of the more knowledgeable users on here, so I should probably get to it at some point, although copies look hard to find or ruinously expensive.) I won't claim that he brings a lot of style to this, but he does keep things moving along pretty well despite the episodic structure. He also usually has something pink in the frame, usually an item of clothing or piece of decor, most of the time. So the movie delivers on both words in the title. But what really makes this stand out is the dialogue, which is a lot funnier than it needs to be. For example:

"In your case, don't you mean a hard man is good to find?"

"Easy Ed does not have both oars in the water."

"Dr. Cantrelle, I don't refer to my fraternity any more as a frat than you refer to your country as a cunt."

"The immortal Yellow River by I. P. Daily"

"I swear, Lydia, I'm never telling nobody never." "That is a double negative."

And pornographically speaking, things get a lot spicier in the second instalment. Angel Kelly speaks proudly of the pioneering twelve girl daisy chain in the second part's climactic orgy, so make sure you stick around for that.

Bayonetta was already an icon lgbt held dear, that was my whole fucking point.

First two games, Bayo showed zero interest romantically in luka. It’s was refreshing. A woman and a hetero man being close friends and not romantically involved?! It happens so rarely in media! It was nice to see a relationship like that! And before anyone comes off with “we’ll luka clearly is attracted to her and she teases him a lot” yeah no shit, who wouldn’t be attracted to Bayo. And teasing your friends is nothing new, especially when your a fucking femme fatale.

And yeah, creator never came out and said “Bayonetta and Jeanna are lesbian lovers” why would he? Romance wasn’t a goal for Bayonetta in the first two games! Which again, was refreshing! All we ever fucking see is hetero romance, and the occasional queer. Bayonetta didn’t fall into that monotonous bucket! It was better than that.

And while her friendship with Luka was kind and close, her relationship with Jeanna was CLEARLY in a different level. The artist of the game shipped them and I’d even go as far to say that most fans did. And it was easy to see why! I’m not going to go into the nature of their relationship. but it was enough for the fans to have what could be a cannon queer relationship. It wasn’t what Bayonetta was %100 about, and that was fine. It was enough.

The development in 3 however is a complete 180. That’s why I’m upset! Not because the creators didn’t come out like “Bayo Is queer!” But because they took everything that made her and her relationships fresh and unique in the past 2 games and threw it away. Out of nowhere I might add. She never had a romantic involvement with luka! Why the fuck would she start now? Being romantically involved with Jeanna would have actually made the most sense, but now suddenly with Luka make absolutely zero sense and again came out of fucking nowhere. This doesn’t even get it to the fact that luka now saves her and their daughter a whole bunch of times? Luka is a human mortal man!? The idea of him saving the day for a powerful demon summoning witch is a joke and insulting quiet frankly.

And by the way, thank you @nervouspetsonanime for being the only one to comment with actual points instead being a snarky cunt for the sake of being a snarky cunt. To which I say to the rest of you cunts who commented, choke on a cock.
