wound up with a purpose ────── you are comparing hand sizes.
♡ ────── pairing : vinícius júnior x reader
♡ ────── tags : reader's gender, ethnicity, nationality, and appearance is not specified, but they are described to be smaller than vini. reader is friends w/ aurel.
♡ ────── wordcount : 723
♡ ────── notes : this is so short but it's so cute and i love him and i cannot stop thinking about vinicius jose paixao de oliveira junior. title is from beabadoobee's ever seen!!! it's such a cute song awoooorghhh,, ♡ masterlist.
“I’ll get Eduardo here,” your idle threat draws a laugh out of Vinícius’ mouth as he insists on hooking his pinky finger into your ring finger, “He’ll have you kicked out of this party.”
“Yeah?” Vinícius entertains the thought and shrugs, his lips tugging into a short smirk. “I don’t know, you seem like you’re enjoying my company more than anything else.”
The gathering Eduardo is exclusive—”exclusive” here being used very generously, as it is bigger than any garden party you have ever been to, and filled with people with bigger names than your family combined.
Sitting on some stools against some bushes, you drown the sound of conversations and water fountains out.
You are a friend of a friend of Eduardo’s—Aurélien’s to be exact. He brought you as his plus one with the exact intention of playing cupid and setting you up with one of his teammates. Eduardo had met you a few times before, so he was like, sure, and you spent the entire afternoon fretting over which shoes to pair with which jacket.
And, dear lord and Aurélien’s compulsive knacks of unwarranted party invitations, you don’t know who this teammate he was boasting on and on about.
But right now, you are hoping that it is Vinícius.
Rising star of Real Madrid, they would say. You just never expected that he would be this romantic.
“Come on,” he tries again, chuckling and spreading his palm close to your fist. “Don’t tell me you’re scared of a little comparison, hm?”
On the first meeting no less.
“Please,” you roll your eyes, giving in slightly when he uses his thumb to rub against the base of your palm instead, “Did I tell you I used to play basketball in school?”
He is wearing a nice, soft pink shirt against a pair of brown pants, some rings on his fingers and one on each of his earlobes.
“Yeah?” He grins. “You must have long fingers, then. And bigger palms.”
“Now you’re just making fun of me,” you purse your lips to hide a smile, finally opening your palm to see his eyebrows raise in delight, wasting no time in pressing his hand over yours.
And, sure, yeah: it makes sense that Vinícius Jr’s hand is larger than yours. It makes sense that your fingers are shorter than his, that your heartbeats increase the moment you touch, and that he closes his fingers on the space inbetween yours, engulfing your hand in his fist.
“Mon deu,” you giggle at the accent in his French, trying to catch your missing breath. He swings your hand, as though he is testing a new glove. “You’re tiny aren’t you?”
“Tiny?” You repeat with fake offence, the feeling of novel heat rising in your chest as you cross your legs. You close your fist over his. “I am the perfect size. Not my fault you have gigantic hands.”
“Oh, please. Enough with the compliments.”
“That was a compliment?”
“That wasn’t?”
You two burst into another fit of laughter, his fingers digging into the back of your hand as you use the other to cover your mouth.
Vinícius inches towards you like you don’t notice, and you peek at the expression on his face.
“Oh, this is nice,” he says, slowly this time, and swings your hands again. “I take it back—you’re right. You’re the perfect size.”
You blow a scoff, trying to hide the baffled on your face. You open your fingers and he is compelled to do the same—now your palms are back facing each other again.
“Is that so?” You stare into his eyes before looking away.
Vinícius raises a curious eyebrow.
“Look,” he gently closes his palm. “My fingers fit so nicely between yours.”
“Oh,” you pull away, shyly pushing his hand away. “Stop it.”
He laughs. “Can’t deny it though, can you?”
“Oh, come on.” You whine, pressing your hand against your eyebrows, trying to blow the steam away from your cheeks. You have to remind yourself, for a moment, that he’s probably done this to countless other people before.
“I’m kidding,” he chuckles, shaking his head, using his foot to faintly nudge your shoes.
You glance his way, pursing your lips again, hiding a smile again.
“Right,” you bite your lips, clearing your throat, and Vinícius shoots you a charming smile. “Right.”

my favourite and least favourite td characters by generation (controversial!)
(not including first boots because it’s an obvious and boring choice)
gen 1 —
fav: heather. i have so much to say about her but i’ll keep it brief, it’s obvious she has parental/family issues and she’s mean to compensate for the fact she’s insecure. so real, and she’s just rlly funny and well developed! heather haters wtf
least fav: cody. look.. ik i’ll get jumped but he’s just so BORING! out of many early boots of gen 1 the rest of them have fun personality traits or character development but he kinda just floats. like nothing rlly happened until world tour finale with him 😭
gen 2 —
fav: lightning! again with heather he has daddy issues and he’s mean but dumb.. but omfg he’s so funny. robbed in all stars and deserved his win, lightning haters NTFM 😭😭
least fav: sam. i was gonna pick staci cuz duh but where’s the fun if you pick the early boots? he was just not funny but his video game addiction gimmick was ok in the lindsay cameo episode
gen 3 —
fav: jasmine. not much has to be said.. i love her and she was robbed in final 4. only sane person on that island i fear, shasmine >>>>>! i hated her elimination but when she came back in the finale i was pleased
least fav: max like BOY IF YOU DONT STFU 😭 self explanatory
gen 4 (rr) —
fav: ice dancers, like ik they were evil and shit but where’s the fun if ur just gonna be a goody two shoes.. let’s be real they carried so hard but their elimination was satisfying ;) josee is me
least fav: stepbrothers, i’m sorry but i just didn’t get their gimmick at all and it was just painful to watch these two on screen. happy they got eliminated but i wasn’t like an avid hater
gen 5 (reboot) —
fav: julia. and ik she’s so hated but she’s literally girlboss gatekeep gaslight like wtff is ur issue with her. admittedly it was fun watching her get eliminated but i loved her arc, hope she gets far in season 2!
least fav: ripper. NEXT! (close second is chase, cuz wtf is ur real boy i’ll kill you)

I know, I know...you should never read the comments.
But I'm a curious kind of idiot. And something I've noticed in my mental damaging adventures is the frequency of statements that make me worry about NHL fans.
Whenever there's an issue where PWHL fans are talking about something in the league they don't like I'll inevitably see some people in the comments criticizing them for voicing these complaints. And they're always saying some wild "In my day I had to walk to school in the snow...uphill...both ways!" style arguments about how these aren't real problems because the NHL does all those things too except it's even worse.
They'll be like, "These snowflakes need to get over themselves! They're complaining about this dumb stuff? Whenever we go to NHL games the people at the security gate squirt lemon juice in our eyes and fill our shoes with sand. And if you think tweets are bad look at the criminal records of our players! One of the captains is wanted for actual war crimes, but the NHL lobbyists stopped him from being extradited. Heck, when I was a kid we went to a game where the owner of the San Jose Sharks used my dad as a footstool and said that he'd move the team to a different city if we didn't go along with it...and you don't hear us complaining! Because the hockey is the only thing that matters!"
Like, damn, are you NHL fans okay? What are they doing to you over there? Do you need me to call somebody for you?

Abla to Huéneja
22.7km in 5 hours walking time and about 600m of elevation.
Today was a shorter day so everyone was pretty relaxed about leaving. We enjoyed a big family breakfast together and then everyone started to head out.
We’re never in that much of a hurry to get to our destination so we’re always the last to leave. That came back to bite us today as when Jose went to get his shoes, the last pair left, they weren’t his. The solo walker from Mallorca had grabbed the wrong shoes 😬 The hospitalero chased after him but I think he’d left too early for him to be able to catch him.
So after a short delay we set off with Jose wearing another man’s shoes. We missed the first turn and thankfully bumped into the French Canadian (younger than the rest of us. Likes to get to the destination early and go to the bar) coming back. Together we retraced our steps and found the turn.
This morning’s walk was lovely. We stopped in the first little town for coffee and then we were walking through cherry, almond and olive trees - beautiful.
Our next stop was of Fiñana where, in 1489, the Catholic King and Queen passed the night in its Fortress-Castle on their way to conquer the kingdom of Granada. We did some grocery shopping and stopped in a bar for a drink and a snack.
Shortly after Finana we spent some time on the Camino Real before ending up back on the Mozarabe Way. For the most part from Finana it was all gradually uphill into a head wind. Thankfully we had some stunning scenery and the Sierra Nevada is becoming ever more visible. We forget that we started at sea level in Almeria and tonight we are at 1000m.
Just before lunch we both started experiencing niggles - Jose’s bum and my leg/knee - but not the prior injury. So we had a couple of stretching stops. Needless to say we were both thankful today was a shorter day than yesterday.
We arrived at the albergue. This one doesn’t have a hospitalero so Jose rang up for the code and we let ourselves in. The rest of our fellow pilgrims from last night had already arrived.
After washing ourselves and some clothes we headed out to find a bar, as much for a drink as to scout somewhere for dinner tonight. Being a Monday night it can be a bit hit and miss.
A large g&t hit the spot and then we headed back to tell the others what we had found. Thankfully the bar started dinner at 7pm. My meal was huge, I’ll be walking it off for the next 3 days.
We were sitting chatting with the man from Mallorca after dinner when a thunder storm came through. We rushed home thinking about our washing forgetting it was actually under cover. Thankfully the storm is passing over and it should be fine tomorrow.

Surprise for Alina 4 Chapter:In search of.
The heroes were still on the plane with their new friends.
Alina:The second day on the plane. Namely me, pets and Tricky.
Bokko:We know you were on a plane to Africa when you were looking for a trunk for Sofia.
Emoji:I wonder if nothing will happen if one or several even many costumes turn out to be real?
Alina:Nothing's going to happen. We've been in reality and nothing has happened to wonderworld.
The shadow in Alina's backpack was watching Alina. She hoped there wouldn't be a problem, but there was only one thing... this is a personality that Alina did not know what to be in the future.
It was evening in Moscow and the plane landed at the airport. The heroes immediately left and went to look for a hotel to spend the night.
Meanwhile, with BWW.
The characters of wonderworld were having dinner in a cafe with Max and Irina while the two were talking.
Max:Our dad works as an office and mom as a cook.
Emma:And where are they now?
Irina:They're on a business trip right now. But you already know, we are economic.
Balan:It's good that you look after the house while your parents are not at home.
Lance:It's time for us to look for a hotel, it's getting dark.
Max:We can take you to "Golden Key" Hotel.
Irina:Our relatives always come there.
Balan:Great choice, let's go.
Before leaving, they pay the waiter and go to the hotel. When they arrived, they were lucky that there were rooms available.
BWW, Max and Irina:Till tomorrow.
BWW immediately entered their rooms, and Max and Irina went to their home. When the two children entered their apartment, Irina came up with something.
Irina:Brother, let's use the Internet to find a way to bring our friends home.
Max:That's a great idea, Sister.
Meanwhile, with heroes.
The heroes chose a hotel called "The Bell" and immediately took their room.
Alina:Well, tomorrow we'll split up and look for it. And that's my plan.
Cristine:Is there no other way?
Alin:Cristine, how do you think we'll find ours all together?
Katya:That's right, it is necessary to be adequate to this.
Cristine:Listen, Alina, don't be too harsh.
Alina:I'm adequate in the plan and in schools, and everything else is fun for me. Okay, good night.
Cristine, Julia and Katya:Good night.
The girls immediately went to bed, while the shadow quietly and imperceptibly crept up to the bedside table where Alina was sleeping and fell asleep.
The next morning.
The heroes were on the street and were already ready to search.
Alina:So, before the search begins. If you see anything suspicious or even something bad, call me.
Heroes expect Alina:Good.
Alina:Then...
Heroes:Together, stronger, hurray!
The heroes immediately split up, and the shadow is watching Alina.
Meanwhile, with girls.
Seven girls with pets were on their way to find BWW.
Cristine:And how do you feel about BWW, that you are best friends?
Alina:We're just best friends. Balan is just mischievous, I didn't trust Lance before, and then I'm calm. Leo is a great dancer, Emma is kind. At the expense of character, they are all adequate and kind.
Cristine:And why do you take us seriously, and them seriously too, but more joyfully?
Alina:How should I know? Okay, we're looking for it.
Meanwhile, with kikoriki.
Kikoriki searched and asked people if they had seen any wonderworld characters.
Krash:Excuse me, did our friends pass by?
Man No.1:No.
Krash:Can you?
Man No.2:I'm sorry, but no.
Wally:It's so hard to search, and the capital itself is big.
Chiko:(He noticed something) Look.
Kikoriki noticed three humanoids who were walking. But what was surprising was that one of them was a green scarecrow who wore farmer's clothes like Jose's. Even his eyes have the same shape and color. His hair was made of nettles.
And two of them were mice with yellow bandages around their necks. One was a blue boy and the other was a red girl. Both had green eyes, purple triangles under the eye like Balan's, and brown shoes.
Barry:Why does this scarecrow almost look like Jose? Only the head is round without a nose and ears.
Rose:Guys, what if these are the ones...
Kikoriki:A lost costumes.
Krash:It turns out we found them.
Chiko:I think we should take them with us, in case Balan will be very happy to see them again.
Carlin:It's great idea.
The Kikoriki immediately approached the lost costumes that they had noticed.
Red Mouse:Look, round animals are coming towards us.
Scarecrow:We see it for the first time.
Krash:Hello, are you the lost costumes?
Chiko:It's just that our friends were telling us the costumes.
Lost costumes:Are you familiar with them?
Carlin:We've known them for a long time. As with Balan, Lance and the costume representatives.
Blue Mouse:So they haven't forgotten us.
Scarecrow:But it is known that the costumes except the representatives remembered and the rest did not. Our friends should be aware.
Chiko:It turns out that the rest of the lost costumes are also here and Olivia is with Sicily.
Barry:And I also see that you are a former representative of Jose Gallard.
Scarecrow:Yes, I was replaced by a Tornado Wolf. But we are friends with them. My name is Weed because I summon the weeds (Called the weeds, and then the weeds are gone).
Blue Mouse:And we are mouses diggers. I'm Mickey, and this is my sister Minnie.
Krash:I'm Krash and my friends. Chiko, Wally, Rose, Barry, Bokko, Carlin, Olga and Pin. Come with us.
Chiko:When we find Balan and his friends, he will be terribly happy.
Weed:With pleasure.
The Kikoriki with the lost costumes went back to their friends.
To be continued...

an intenseness disguised with a smile that’s rain on a hot summer day : maddox hoffman is a taste that’s addicting . . . a force to be reckoned with . his name occupies fellow classmates mouths in envy , adoration , or bitterness . his skill with a ball putting him on the map but impulsive behavior and a rowdy but charming demeanor placing a spotlight on him . he’s unattainable : but a light that hands desperately try to grasp .
redeeming quality to boisterous presence is a loyalty that knows no bounds . a body next to him that planted their feet no matter the cost all his life has wired a lesson into his head : there’s no love like loyalty ( maddox 101 : maddox will be loyal to his twin above all ) . a person that everyone knows but keeps a small inner circle : maddox is a ride or die . . . a hard , and fierce , and an unforgiving lover . he’s the one that'll jump into a fight without a second thought . that’ll crosses all lines to protect the ones he loves . . that’ll stands beside you in your darkest hour . . . love you even when there’s nothing left to love . . maddox functions through loyalty and while it’s not something that’s earned easily , it’s for a lifetime once you do . .

BOTR - Day 26 - July 10, 2024
Diane checked out of Hecla CG and headed to Salida where she would be spending the next couple nights. When she got to town she decided to give her hiking boots a rest and donned her tennis shoes for a paved trail that wound around a lovely meadow just outside of town.
Leaving Hecla.
On the path, she saw many tree swallows and another lifer, a Wilson’s Snipe. The effort earned her lunch. She had a pickled egg and a pickled jalapeño as a started and a nice Greek salad with lamb as her entree.
Tree swallows on a fence!
Pickled!
After lunch, Diane checked out some of the shops and neighborhoods of Salida. Then she checked into the Salida Hostel which she found to be clean, somewhat funky, and having a college vibe. Fortunately, she had a private room and bath.
More of downtown Salida.
Out of necessity, Diane did laundry at the hostel. While doing that, she met one of the employees and even helped her fold sheets. Unfortunately for the lady, her car wasn’t working when it was time to come to work. In true Colorado fashion, she threw her raft in the river and floated to the hostel!
Back in town for dinner, Diane had a fine chicken panini served by a Robert Downey, Jr. doppelgänger. Be still her heart!
Dinner with a view of the river.
Sweet dreams came easily.
On the other hand, the best laid plans… after some logistical challenges getting Paul R back to Crested Butte and us buying supplies for the rest of our ride (we could now eat real food since we had refrigeration), we started the ride for the day mid-morning.
It was to be a short, tough day with a 7 mile, 1200’ climb to start. Pitkin was the first town we would hit with a campgrounds outside of St Elmo as our final stop. We all settled in to the grind of a climb. Marc and Geoff were out in front so we had separated into a couple groups. At the top, I spoke with a woman who was waiting on her boyfriend who was trail running 19 miles. She told me that the passes we wanted to cross were closed and a lake we would ride around had flooded to cover the road with 3 feet of water. News to share.
Jose on the climb…
Steve
Geoff
Marc
In Pitkin, we confirmed all the bad news. The original route needed to be scrapped. We found camping just outside of town and laid out a new plan. We would pound our way home tomorrow via a different pass and a shorter route.
David checking out the lady Sasquatch after dinner.
Beers. Dinner at the Silver Plume food truck. Excellent food, by the way. A little rain. Bed just before dark. A lousy night sleep. Great stars at 1am.

Give Practical Life to Your Kids – Montessori Education
Science and communication are essential. Learning to do laundry and put on pants in the morning are also life skills. People in the real world need to deal with mundane tasks at home. Young children benefit greatly from getting an early start on learning useful skills.
Montessori Schools Bay Area incorporates both academic and life skills instruction.
What do you mean by "real-world" pursuits?
At Montessori School, theydo not follow the conventional layout for a daycare center. There are no perfectly aligned seats or desks with their fronts towards the front of the room. Children have plenty of room to spread out and study, particularly when engaging in hands-on activities that require a spacious classroom with plenty of desks and chairs.
Practices Before Hand
Students at Montessori Preschool San Jose Ca are encouraged to practice fundamental abilities that will help them master later, more complex tasks. Activities like grouping and stringing things are included. They are also instructed to hold onto their possessions after use.
Best Montessori preschool cupertino provides students with nutritious after-school snacks daily. They learn how to use spoons and cups appropriately as part of their education on snack preparation.
Respect for Nature
The first step in protecting the natural world is protecting the world around you. The significance of maintaining a tidy space will be ingrained in the minds of the young learners. Classroom maintenance includes sweeping and dusting. Children are also taught to help around the house by doing things like chopping vegetables, washing dishes, & drying them off.
Individualized Attention
A primary goal of the Montessori Education is to foster a sense of self-reliance in young learners. They learn how-to put-on clothes and tie their shoes at a young age. Children also learn the importance of washing their hands frequently, especially before meals and after playing. They are also taught about healthy eating habits.
Gentleness and Composure
Teaching kids’ proper etiquette helps them feel more comfortable in group situations. They learn how to speak politely to one another, how to set the table, and how to be aware of others by doing things like walking carefully, moving furniture quietly, and closing doors properly.
Your kids will have the chance to do more than just learn at Montessori daycare cupertino. They learn useful skills for daily life that will contribute to their overall growth.
Affective and Social Skills
Students in conventional classrooms are typically divided into distinct groups based on their chronological ages. Children of varying ages learn and grow together in a Montessori setting because they often stay in the same class for at least two school years. The normal age gap is just about three years.
Instead of just moving on to another grade level, the Montessori approach prioritizes student independence and hands-on learning. Because kids stick together for a minimum of two years, they form bonds and friendships. Sharing a space and resources helps kids develop social and emotional skills. Through shared experiences, they develop friendships and learn to work together.

Kelly-Moore's success was more than a simple matter of fortuitous timing. In the first six months of existence, Kelly-Moore, instead of a $3,000 profit, made $30,000. What Moore and Kelly failed to anticipate was the pent-up demand for housing caused by the privations of war that resulted in a dramatic building boom. The plan was to mix paint in the mornings and Moore would make deliveries in the afternoons, with the hope that the start-up business would show a $500 profit each month.

Kelly, a retired superintendent at Glidden who was tired of having free time and was now very much interested in starting a little factory. He found the ideal partner in the form of William H. All Moore needed now was someone experienced in mixing paint. Seed money to establish a single store and manufacturing facility came from the funds he had saved during his stint at Glidden, which during the war he had then wisely invested in Tulsa, Oklahoma, real estate. At the time, it was home to a large number of orchards, some of which were being converted to tract-home communities. He studied the southern California market and concluded that the ideal location for his enterprise was the city of San Carlos, located some 30 minutes north of San Jose, in the heart of what would one day become the Silicon Valley. In 1946, at the age of 29, in the same year that he married, Moore decided to strike out on his own in the paint business. Having lost several years of his life to the service, he felt that he had fallen behind schedule in his life, a condition that served to fuel his already ambitious nature. Like many in his generation, the war had a profound effect on Moore. Moore's business career was interrupted by a stint in the Navy during World War II when he served on a destroyer in the Pacific, but his time at Glidden convinced him that his future lay in the paint business and he devoted much of his spare time in the service studying two books on paint making. As a result, he reached his target goal of $1,000 per month within the first year, and ultimately he became Glidden's top West Coast producer. Rather than continue to spend the same amount of time on all of his customers, he decided to return his smaller accounts to the company in order to focus his efforts on the top 20 percent. After analyzing sales information he was able to determine that just 20 percent of his customers accounted for 80 percent of his sales. Starting with a $160 per month draw, Moore set a goal of earning $1,000 per month and launched a systematic approach to achieving that amount. Moore soon found work at Glidden Paint as a salesman and lab technician. When he graduated in 1938 with a dual degree in Industrial Management and Chemical Engineering, America was still very much in the grips of the Great Depression and Moore was happy to find any job, accepting a position as a salesman for National Theatre Supply at a salary of $110 per month, a considerable falloff considering he had been able to cobble together $150 per month from his part-time college jobs. In the process Moore became something of a local legend. Nevertheless, he needed living expenses and to support himself through his college years he held eight odd jobs simultaneously, yet still maintained high grades and achieved an impressive athletic record. When he began his studies at Georgia Tech in 1934 he was accomplished enough at the game to win a scholarship as a walk-on.
#Kelly moore paint how to
More important, he learned how to play tennis on a makeshift court in front of his home. Ambitious from an early age, according to a video tribute produced by his alma mater, Georgia Tech, he started shining shoes at nine in order to fund his college education. Moore, who was born in the small town of Hartford, Arkansas, the son of a barber. The driving force behind Kelly-Moore was the company's cofounder, William E. Retail sales account for less than 15 percent of the company's business.

As has been the case for more than 50 years, Kelly-Moore mostly caters to professional contractors and the do-it-yourself market, building a reputation for selling high-quality products while providing strong service. Four manufacturing facilities, capable of producing 20 million gallons of more than 100 types of paints and finishes each year, are strategically located in Seattle, Washington Hurst, Texas Tempe, Arizona and San Carlos, California. The company concentrates its efforts on western and southwestern states, operating more than 160 stores in 11 states and Guam. is an employee-owned regional paint manufacturer and retailer, with its headquarters located in San Carlos, California.

Since I can’t draw right now (it’s like 1 AM) I decided I’d just write things down about Domestic DUno AU (I still don’t have a proper name for it!!) so here we go~
Info below the cut to spare the mobile users my ramblings~~
BACKSTORY STUFF
-Donald first became PK as a teenager (14 or 15), pulling petty pranks and avenging perceived wrongdoings. He ended up accidentally becoming a hero after stopping a thief and unknowingly saving a young girl’s life, and he realized he could direct his temper, anger and frustration not at making other people miserable, but at protecting others. Gyro, who went to school with Donald (Donald and Della attended a private school that would accommodate their adventure schedule; Gyro, being the absolute genius he is, attended on a scholarship) was there and ended up helping, being the one to inadvertently provide PK with the weapon he fended off the criminals with. PK talked to Gyro and the two became partners in crime-fighting that way.
-After deciding to become a hero, it was small-town villains mostly that he dealt with. Thieves, and the like. He didn’t start fighting mutants and those kinds of things until he was 17 or so, and the Evronians didn’t show up until he was 18. This is when Scrooge gave him a summer job at his newly acquired tower, figuring since Donald didn’t want to go with him and Della on a three-month adventure (as Donald was needed in Duckburg, he couldn’t be gone for three months!!) then he may as well work and earn a little money. As Duckworth was still alive, Duckworth was in charge of the manor, so Donald didn’t need to worry about upkeeping the mansion.
-Donald met Uno after a failed attempt to fight the Evronians, and they partnered up, with Uno providing Donald with otherworldly advanced tech that Gyro... would probably understand if given the time and chance (come on, he built a time machine out of a bathtub, he could totally understand future tech). After the first battle with the Evronians that Donald eventually wins, he realized that the game had just just 10x more dangerous. Between working on his doctorate and interning for Scrooge’s science department (something the scientists working for Scrooge were salty about), Gyro didn’t have much time to work on new and improved inventions for PK so when Uno contacted Gyro about him stepping down from helping PK, Gyro agreed, acknowledging that the mysterious Uno Ducklair would probably be a better benefactor for the hero. He didn’t know PK’s identity, though, so he didn’t take the memory erasing candy. Instead he focused on his work.
-Years passed this way, with Donald and Uno working together. Of course Donald had his other adventures, such as with Jose and Panchito and Mickey and all them lovely folks, but Uno was his closest confidante and biggest supporter. He was the one he vented his frustrations with Della and Scrooge to, and the one to give him advice on how to deal with it and talk to them about it all.
-At some point during this time, Gladstone finds out Donald is PK. Of course it happens in the typical Lucky way- him finding out saved Donald’s life. Gladstone is shaken up by the knowledge that his cousin/brother is in danger every day and has almost died multiple times. Gladstone becomes a sort of third member of the whole Crime Fighting thing, yep, you heard it right, Cloverleaf is real here. He figures if he’s out in the field with Donald, then Donald will never die because of Gladstone’s supernaturally good luck. Uno, while frustrated with Gladstone’s unpredictable and illogical luck, accepts this. Donald is less keen because he doesn’t want Gladstone in danger’s path but when the gander makes up his mind it’s made up, yo.
-PK and Cloverleaf (CL from here on out) and Uno work together for 3 years before the Spear of Selene incident, where Donald is suddenly left with three eggs. Donald’s priorities now shifted, he quits being a hero and buys the houseboat so he can raise the triplets without Scrooge’s influence. Gladstone does what he can to help while trying to continue to protect Duckburg, and while watching CL on the news Donald has the sudden realization that Duckburg still needs him- new parent or not. So he (metaphorically!!) throws the eggs into their pram, rushes to Ducklair Tower, begs Lyla to watch the eggs for him and rushes off to CL’s aid.
-After the danger is over, Donald collects the eggs, thanks Lyla for her help, then meets up with CL and Uno on the 151st floor where they have a serious conversation. Donald acknowledges that Duckburg still needs PK, but Della’s children also need him. The three eventually come to the conclusion that the kids would be raised by PK and Uno there in the Tower, where they would be safe- and they would be trained so they’re ready for anything thrown at them. (Gladstone is actually the one who is like “nah cuz you be their dad I’m not cut out for that, I’ll be the cool uncle, I don’t wanna live in the tower! No offense Uno” so it isn’t like Donald just decided to leave him out of the parenting)
-The eggs hatch and Donald names them sensible (AKA not Della’s list) names (and pronounces Llewellyn correctly dammit) and Donald and Uno have a time learning hands-on how to be parents. (“I’ve read twenty different parenting guides in the last five seconds and they’re all saying different things, Donald, WHAT DO WE DO-”) The whole “raising kids together” thing brings them even closer than before and forces them to have a chat about their feelings, too.
-When the triplets are small and starting to run around, Uno baby proofs everything. He has a hard time keeping them from escaping their playpen (which is essentially a huge room with an amazing view of the city, he doesn’t know why they’re so intent on escaping). Then eventually the inevitable happens- both Don and Glad end up stuck on the other side of the world for nearly a whole month, and Uno realizes taking care of three toddlers is much easier when you have a body. So while they’re gone, he balances his time between advising them on their mission, taking care of the triplets and building an android body that can handle an AI as advanced as him (throw out that “an AI who is only good could never make a full person” shit cuz Uno can be petty as hell, he’s a whole ass person even without Due yo). By the time Don and Glad get back he’s testing his prototype. Donald is thrilled, of course- his boyfriend has a body now!
-The triplets gain a sister! Everett brings a child to them one day, a little Coronan girl who was for reasons I haven’t decided yet cast out of her family and Everett, with his weird Enlightened Powers shit, went and found her and brought her back to the people he knew would take care of her well (considering his own past failures...). And so the triplets have a little sister who is an alien! Yee! Yes it’s Asveya (Ve). She came to them when she was ~2 and the triplets were 3 or 4, and as she didn’t have a name Donald named her after a friend he met as a child, when he regularly adventured with Scrooge and Della, and whom he ended up meeting again as a young adult.
-Uno perfects the body over time as he learns more things about being a person (he very purposefully leaves out pain receptors, though he includes the best parts of being a physical person ofc- he wants his cake and he wants to eat it too!). Everett decides now that Uno has a body, it was time to introduce him as his son officially and hand the business over to him (stating that it’ll be good for the kids if at least one of their parents had a proper job and income, since savings don’t last forever), and as the kids get older Donald begins training them so they’ll be able to take care of/protect themselves if need be. Uno creates a training field/obstacle course that is fun and age-appropriate, and by the time they’re ten they’re like little superheroes in training. They can give Webby a run for her money. Ve is less interested in being like PK and more interested in being like Uno- AKA the techie behind the gadgets.
-The triplets are already playing with some rudimentary pieces of tech Ve made, playing like they’re superheroes (or villains, gotta have someone to fight!). Uno finds out when he reviews the Tower footage and immediately confiscates anything that can be dangerous, but lets them keep the more innocent stuff.
MODERN DAY STUFF (AKA the time the show takes place)
-As the kids got older Donald and Uno allowed them more freedom, even letting them go out on their own (with the promise of being back before dark, not telling anyone what their parents did for a living, they all stuck together and they didn’t speak to strangers beyond what was necessary). When the triplets were 10 and Ve was 8 or 9, Uno learned that a powerful artifact (not the gem) was in Atlantis and that if a villain got their hands on it, it would be... very bad. So Donald decides it’s time to put on his metaphorical adventure shoes again and go get it. By this time Gladstone got trapped in the casino (Uno has been looking for him, after not hearing from him for over a week) and Uno had a Big Business thing to attend, real important too, so they talk about getting a babysitter for the weekend they’ll be gone. The kids manage to convince them they don’t need one, as they’ll be safe in the 151st floor (“We’ll be safer there than anywhere else, right, Uncle Uno?”). Donald tried to call Lyla but she was unfortunately in the field, so he agreed to let them stay home on their own until Uno got back (Uno did the math and figured he could stay for a few hours to just make a good faith appearance, talk business with some stooges and then come home the same day).
-Of course, the kids get caught. Uno had already left out for his business thing at like 5 AM, and Donald was about to head out to Atlantis in one of the Duckmobiles. He happened to check on a whim the back of the mobile, where he found his surprised ducklings staring wide-eyed up at him. He knew then that he needed to cash in on a favour- he called Beakley and then drove the protesting children to the mansion. (“Come on, Unca’ Donald!” “It’s a mansion! We wanna go to the lost city, too!” “Come on, we’ve been doing real good in training!” “Please, dad? We promise we’ll listen!”) The excitement over meeting THE Scrooge McDuck is overshadowed by the disappointment that they can’t go on this mission.
-Besides, who cares about a mansion and a rich adventuring duck when your parents and uncle are not only rich adventurers, but they’re also superheroes???
-Donald gives them a forehead kiss goodbye and heads off, and Scrooge has Beakley put the kids in that old room. “It’ll only be a few hours” they said. “Until Uno gets back.” Unfortunately, Uno calls Louie and tells the duckling there’s been a problem and he won’t be back until later- Donald already informed him of the changed arrangements and he’s already contacted Beakley.
-The kids decide to escape the old room, putting their hero training into action, but are ultimately swept up into Webby’s trap. Webby is super excited to meet them when she realizes who they are (though she has no idea who Ve is), and she cuts them down from the net without them having to escape themselves. The kids know they’re not supposed to let anyone know about the “hero family” thing so try to act like normal kids, though it becomes apparent Webby doesn’t know how to be a normal kid either.
-Through shenanigans, the children inspire Scrooge to adventure again, and Dewey lets slip about lost cities and Scrooge has a moment of realization. Thus, he drags the kids to Atlantis with him. While there, the kids each get a chance to show off their moves (which they’re SUPPOSED TO HIDE but you know, when arrows are flying at you ain’t got no time to hide). Donald is pissed when he notices them in Atlantis, and Uno is pissed when he calls Donald and learns the kids are in Atlantis, right where they are NOT supposed to be.
-Things pretty much follow the episode, though with the triplets able to hold their own and Donald gunning for a completely different artifact. When they escape and get back to the surface with their respective artifacts, they’re met by a livid android who absolutely chews Scrooge out for dragging four ten year olds and an eight year old to a dangerous place like that.
-Donald decides that it might be okay for the kids to visit with Scrooge sometimes, to get a little real-world experience, and at precisely that moment something crashes into the 151st floor of Ducklair Tower. Uno is absolutely furious (“MY TOWER???”) cuz that’s gonna take a bit to fix- at the very least it’ll appear to take a while- and when the kids question “what now?” Scrooge offers up some rooms in the mansion. The kids are excited cuz they’ll get to live with Webby and explore a new place. Donald and Uno say “just until the tower is fixed” (Gladstone had Donald’s boat at the time he went missing so Donald doesn’t have it) which is good enough for the kids.
-Scrooge being sus of Uno for like a whole arc cuz he’d never heard of Uno Ducklair before recently and also his nephew?? got married???
-Gladstone finally gets a message out to Don and Uno for help, and they go immediately- but not before Scrooge makes it a family adventure. Scrooge is disparaging of Gladstone, but Donald is just worried about his cousin. They manage to save Gladstone without pseudo-sacrificing anyone. Scrooge gets a little sus when they get back to Duckburg, and days later the missing Cloverleaf has shown up again.
-HDLV ended up spilling the truth to Webby as she got closer with them, but they swore her to secrecy. Of course Beakley found out because Webby is a terrible liar.
**So basically Donald + Uno parents, a kid that calls them her dads, good Uncle Gladstone, Brotherly Gladstone + Donald, Competent Cloverleaf, PK + Cloverleaf teamup, little-hero triplets. Gyro will end up teaming up with Gizmoduck when Fenton takes up heroing, too, just like Launchpad teams up with DW (DW’s story for this AU will be different, also, just a heads up) and basically all their combined kids become a badass team of children (Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Ve, Boyd, Gos, and of course Lena and Violet join in later...) Gyro teams up with Gizmoduck because every hero needs a tech guy (even heroes who are also scientists....) and he’s not only very capable, he’s worked with a hero before so he knows the ins and outs :D
However it is now 2 AM and I need to sleep so I’m gonna end my musings here but I am thinking of them so much right now I’m
