Agustí Benedito announces the end of the vote of no confidence against Bartomeu

→ The vote of no confidence ended with 12,504 signatures. He needed 16,570.

→ However, Benedito says that with those sent and those he was expecting to receive by Saturday, the count should rise to around 14,000. He believes he should have had until Sunday's match against Las Palmas to get to that figure. 

→ After vice-president Jordi Cardoner announced through a press conference that it was time for Benedito to hand over his signatures (setting the deadline at September 27), Benedito sent a fax to the club to notify them that he will file a complaint against the board to defend the rights of the socis because he feels their rights were violated by not allowing the collection period for the signatures to extend until October 2nd. 

→ "If they had not violated the rights of the socis, we would have had the third vote of no confidence in the club's history."

→ He is not planning another vote of no confidence because of how big of an effort it was financially, but he adds that it would not surprise him if someone else did because the reasons remain.

→ Barring any unforeseeable events, Josep Maria Bartomeu and his board will now remain in office until 2021.

→ Via twitter, he said: “There is nothing to thank [me for]. It is me who must thank the 12,504 socis (and much more still signing) for their support for the vote of no confidence. The Barça socis have never been more vocal in their opposition to a board of directors. Visca el Barça always!" [x] [x]

Ramon Benedito is an Italian industrial designer and founder of the Transatlàntic design group, alongside Lluìs Morillas and Josep Puig. The Frenesí Stool (“frenzy” in English") was designed as part of the Sensual Mobiliaro (“Sensual Furniture”) project, which aimed to create furniture with eroticized silhouettes, such as this stool’s phallic diagonal support bar and rubber tip. An interesting choice for Star Trek, it was used as set dressing for Voyager’s Sick Bay.

Joan Laporta se presentará a la presidencia del Barcelona

Joan Laporta, presidente del FC Barcelona entre 2003 y 2010, confirmó al programa ‘La Llotja del Què T’hi Jugues’ de SER Catalunya que se presentará a las próximas elecciones del club, reseñó el diario sport.

El medio indica que el exdirigente afirmó que ya se está construyendo el proyecto y confeccionando el equipo que lo debe acompañar.

En las elecciones del 2015, que ganó Josep Maria Bartomeu, Laporta quedó en segunda posición con 15.615 votos.

Así, ya son cinco los precandidatos confirmados para los comicios convocados para el primer partido en el Camp Nou después del 15 de marzo de 2021: Joan Laporta, Lluís Fernández Alà, Agustí Benedito, Víctor Font y Jordi.

Originario de Barcelona, Benedito se dedica al diseño  y desarrollo de productos desde 1973. Se ha desarrollado bajo el signo de la diversidad, su principal área de actividades es el diseño de aparatos electrodomésticos e informática, instrumentos técnicos y científicos, maquinas y herramientas, iluminación, equipamiento doméstico, elementos de instalación y para la construcción, envases packaging y mobiliario. 

Ha trabajado para empresas como Balay, Carlsberg, Contener, Renfe o Repsol. En 1984 crea, junto a Josep Puig y Lluis Morillas, Transatlantic, grupo de diseño experimental que se dedica a la investigación tecnológica y formal, y que se mantendrá hasta su disolución en 1989. En 1992 se le concedió el Premio Nacional de Diseño.
