JunZhe June Candies from 2021
Let's tune out the noise and focus on some langlangding / JunZhe candies, shall we?
June 6-7, 2021 - Origin of the "Drink plenty of water" lld saying
Gong Jun released a small video saying he caught a cold a few days ago~
And Zhang Zhehan's weibo posted saying: "Drink plenty of water, drink plenty of water, drink plenty of water."
It's implied that he posted this in response to JunJun's post, since it was unusual for him to post something so random. The pictures attached are also just him drinking Perrier Sparkling Water, which he never endorsed :>. Source Below:
Tumblr media
210609 - Gong Jun asks the livestream host to speak Zhang Zhehan's name!
The livestream host read out the winners of a giveaway. Some names were CP fans, and one of them was "fan of Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan." But she wouldn't say his name. This is per etiquette bc they should have broken CP already, it was past the WOH/SHL airing period and after the concert. HOWEVER, Gong Jun insisted that she say his name because "it's not nice" to skip it!
From bird app's langlangdinger sourced here:
THEN
June 10, 2021 - ZZH posts on weibo saying: "My mustache/beard has its own thoughts."
Tumblr media
It's implied that his beard/mustache may be JunJun, and he can say whatever tf he wants >:).
Also the kadian is 21:46= the same seat number that ZZH was photographed next to during his mini concert~
Tumblr media
June 16, 2021 - ZZH sings Unbreakable Love with changed lyrics, LLD handsign, GJ possible background vocals
ZZH sang Unbreakable Love on a show and changed some of the lyrics around.
The song ends normally with
"I walked past the rooftop where I watched the meteor shower with you." - he sang this during the rehearsal as well (3 different times, 3 x the same original lyrics)
During the 4th rehearsal he changed it to:
"where I survived the long rooftop with you"
During the LIVE performance, he changed it to:
"I walked past the rooftop where I survived the long distance and the wait."
Tumblr media
He sang the song with tears in his eyes, and after he finished, he wiped his tears off (cries and screams)!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
GJ's possible vocals in the background
There's also a point in the song where he purposely points at his ear piece, waits for the BG vocals to start, and then sings. There's a noticeable difference in BG vocals vs the rehearsal, which also is available on YT. We think that GJ may have provided his vocals for this surprise part of the performance~ Source
Tumblr media
June 27, 2021 - GJ and ZZH reply to each other on Weibo with videos
GJ posted on Weibo saying, "This summer, go meet the person you want to meet."
ZZH's studio, on the same day, posted on Weibo with him singing a line from his new song (now unreleased) named, Run To Meet You.
They're definitely talking about each other, and I'm NOT surprised that ZH wrote a whole song about running to meet Gong Jun, considering they were extremely busy during that time and had very few chances to see each other. At least nowadays, I'm sure they can spend lots of quality time together <3 <3
These two really never slowed down hahaha, I miss them!
Ta ta for now! I am STILL working on answering some asks in my inbox, I'm sorry for the delay!!

Candy Puff - Wenzhou Market Date
At long last, we've arrived at the last set of figs in this series! This was the hardest set of individual figs to acquire - seems like they are pretty popular. And for good reason! They're adorable.
I'm going to assume by now you've been following this 12-fig series, but if not (or if you want a refresher), you can catch up by reading the previous posts here:
Bow Boys
Super A Junzhe
Happy Camp Pink Powder
Immortal Wenzhou
Wenzhou Fierce Faces
The inspiration for Lao Wen is of course the famous market date in Episode 8. Here he is with his ill gotten watermelon gains!
Tumblr media
But no, this scene is too good, let's have just a few more photos...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hehehe I love it! You never had a chance, A-Xu.
Speaking of A-Xu, the inspiration for his figure is 20 episodes later in Episode 28. Here is recovering in Siji Mountain Manor, arm in a sling:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And of course, we need one of him pouting!
Tumblr media
Here they are, looking super cute! These Candy Puff figs have ultra expressive faces, as usual.
Tumblr media
It's cute they're both eating! Lao Wen is in mid-chew, but A-Xu is of course delicately and elegantly eating his melon seeds.
Tumblr media
Funny how Lao Wen's hair, which is longer than A-Xu's in the show, is pretty short here! I just noticed that.
Tumblr media
A-Xu's whole hair is a luxuriant mass. I do like how the fig maker rolled up Lao Wen's hair in his guan - that's the most curled I've seen his loop of hair yet!
Tumblr media
The fig maker did get A-Xu's black shade vs. Lao Wen's slightly browner shade of hair right on.
Tumblr media
These figs stand up quite well - no issues at all with them. All in all, these figs have been engineered well to counteract the weight of their masses of hair.
Tumblr media
You can see how they stand perfectly straight - no Fig Forward Lean (tm) here.
Tumblr media
Their robes are nice and bright. Even though they're from different episodes, I love these two cuties!
Tumblr media
And we're back around! Looks like A-Xu might want to get some medical attention for that arm in his sling, it seems to be going quite purple. A little bit of paint overspray never hurt anyone, but it's not looking healthy there!
I really love how we have Lao Wen's watermelon at the exact moment in the show he's taken a bite out of one of them.
Tumblr media
These figs, like all the others, are very solid and heavy. I think it's what helps keep them stable on their feet.
Tumblr media
More shots of their luxurious hair, with A-Xu's leather wrap and Lao Wen's silver guan.
Tumblr media
As you can see, all these figs actually have names (in the colored box), but the font is so small that my Google Translate function doesn't read it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, that's the end of this series! The fig maker hasn't made any more figs that I know of, but I certainly wouldn't mind more. They do such a nice job on the expressions and the art style is very distinctive. I'll take 12 more, happily!
Material: PVC
Fig Count: 279
Scene Count: 20
Rating: Delicious!

GJ and ZZH Updates — July 31-August 6
<<< previous week || all posts || following week >>>
This is part of a weekly series collecting updates from and relating to Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan.
This post is not wholly comprehensive and is intended as an overview, links provided lead to further details. Dates are in accordance with China Standard Time, the organization is chronological. My own biases on some things are reflected here. Anything I include that is not concretely known is indicated as such, and you’re welcome to do your own research and draw your own conclusions as you see fit. Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or additions. :)
[Glossary of names and terms]  [Masterlist of my posts about the situation with Zhang Zhehan]
Tumblr media
Addition to 07-30 I missed: A rumor was spread online originating from a supposed staff member of Back to Field that one of the guests used to be a sex worker (“duck”). This led to slander against Gong Jun, connecting it to slander previously spread by Sophie and co.. Back to Field did not post any official statement about this other than to say they were disappointed that people were more preoccupied by this than the show itself.
07-31 → A Twitter space was held reviewing old candy! [recording] [written notes]
→ Gong Jun posted a photo ad he did for L’Oreal. Caption: “In the midsummer of the heart, apply #L'Oreal Water Light Skin Sunscreen# to start the date. Love and sun protection should continue to be online! Enjoy summer lightly with @L'OrealParis!
→ Dragon TV posted stills from Go Fighting! episode 5, including one featuring Gong Jun.
→ Gong Jun’s studio posted his schedule for August: Only drama filming, no public schedule. Caption: “Ding! Boss @Gong Jun Simon's August itinerary is coming 😎 The beginning of autumn is approaching, and the heat is hard to stop. The small room reminds everyone to pay attention to heatstroke prevention and cooling!“ Fan Observation: His eyes are closed in the picture.
→ A Zhihu account that some have previously questioned as possibly being either Gong Jun or Zhang Zhehan posted a photo of someone taking a photo of a frog plushie, cropped so only the person’s hands are visible. Caption: “Don’t worry about the duck, just like this a little bit, love yourself 100%”  Fan Observations:  -  Frogs are a common qixi gift.  -  Some people who made posts comparing the hands to Zhang Zhehan’s had their posts deleted and accounts banned.
Tumblr media
08-01 → Gong Jun reposted a post by CCTV for the People’s Liberation Army’s 95th anniversary. Caption: “Thank you Chinese soldiers, thank you for your protection, salute!“
→ Gong Jun’s studio reposted the same post. Caption: “Loyal guard, fearless forward. Tribute to Chinese soldiers with boss @Gong Jun Simon!”
→ BEAST made a post on WeChat for their Qixi product line. In it, they included “Remembering that we couldn't spend the previous Qixi together as we were at different places I even secretly childishly cried, and was angry at him. He promised that he'll give me a surprise next Qixi." [quoted translation] Later in the post, there were also the lines “Love is separated by the mountains and seas / The mountains and seas can be flattened” Fan Observations:  -  Qixi 2021 was 08-14.  -  During the 05-04 concert livestream, Zhang Zhehan chose to show off a fanmade banner with the same phrase, saying it was related to his family.
→ The Supreme People’s Procuratorate posted an announcement about the anti-monopoly law that went into effect that day. One of their focuses was said to be Internet anti-monopoly litagation, with public prosecutors now allowed to launch civil antitrust lawsuits out of public interest. [summary translation]
→ The Instagram posted five pictures of “Zhang Zhehan” and “Zhang Mama” working out.
08-02 → #JunZhe trended on Twitter throughout the day.
→  #Gong Jun Fox Spirit Matchmaker white clothes# was on Weibo’s hotsearch after some very pretty behind the scenes photos leaked.
→ Mengniu posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun. The caption includes: “🌹 Love has no limits ... I want to watch the sunrise and sunset with you, and I want to taste the world's delicious food with you 💗 There is no need to wait for heartbeats ... unlock the romance related to you~”
→ Tiffany & Co. posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.
→ Colgate posted two photo ads [here] and [here] featuring Gong Jun.
→ #JusticeforZhangZhehan trended on Twitter, organized by Instagram-believers. The tweets within it were mainly focused on promoting Zhang Sanjian and the teashop, as well as pointing blame towards Gong Jun.
08-03 → Both Gong Jun and his studio reposted a post by CCTV with the hashtag #only one China#
→ Gong Jun posted a promotional video for Marrsgreen to his Douyin. [subbed video]
→ Instagram-believers asked everyone to delete videos have have been going around of Zhang Zhehan working out and boxing from a unreleased Taobao vlog filmed last year. This was presumably so the videos wouldn’t be compared to the (starkly different) videos of Zhang Sanjian boxing. Here are the videos, sharing them is encouraged: [warm up] [boxing] [floor exercises]
→  Four billboards of Gong Jun’s ad campaign with BEAST were installed at an airport.
→ Addition made 08-11: MUJOSH posted one of the photo ads featuring Gong Jun with their limited edition glasses to their Instagram.
08-04 (Qixi) → #LoveGongJun trended on Twitter, a hashtag made in direct response to the slander in the #JusticeforZhangZhehan tag. #JusticeforZhangZhehan continued to trend.
→ Kangshifu posted an audio clip featuring Gong Jun.
→ Gong Jun’s studio commented on the post of his schedule for this month with an update: Variety show filming on 08-10 to finish up Go Fighting!.
→ Gong Jun posted the Marrsgreen video to his personal Weibo, later reposted by Marrsgreen. Marrsgreen later also posted nine illustrated pfps and a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.
Tumblr media
→ Mengniu posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun. (1129 kadian) The caption included, “It's more than the Qixi Festival, I want to be with you all day and night~ Savor every bit of the relationship, some tastes only we can understand. So romantic with you for three meals and four seasons.”
→ Gong Jun posted a commercial for Kangshifu to his personal Weibo, later reposted by Kangshifu.
→ Tiffany & Co. posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.
→ Gong Jun followed Yang Mi, his co-star for Fox Spirit Matchmaker, on Weibo.
→ Hsu Fu Chi posted three Qixi pfps featuring Gong Jun.
→ Legend of AnLe’s Weibo posted a new promotional still featuring Gong Jun and Dilireba.
→Colgate posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.
08-05 → #TheRealZhangZhehan trended on Twitter, #JusticeforZhangZhehan continued to trend.
→ CPFs donated over ¥87,000 to the Beijing Yangfan Public Welfare Foundation in the name of Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan’s fans.
08-06 → Kangshifu made a post about a collaboration with Nivea that is running from 08-05 to 08-11. Nivea’s own post about it referred to someone as Maomao, a popular fan nickname for Zhang Zhehan; Nivea previously endorsed Zhang Zhehan prior to 813. It is not currently known if there is any significance to this.
→ Gong Jun liked a douyin about an old woman who runs a streetfood stall, in which she says her operating hours are from 5 to 11. The video’s caption includes, “Don't gossip about others, and be yourself and be happy.”
→ My #ZhangZhehanIsInnocent hashtag event began. [Here] is an archive of my posts for it.
→ Addition made 08-09: The anti that Gong Jun filed a lawsuit against on 21-07-06 and settled with on 04-13 had his public apology posted in Legal Daily as agreed upon.
Additional Reading: → Flora’s daily fan news thread → Sheena is organizing a charity drive from 08-13 to 08-15

Hello! I stumbled upon your account not long ago... I can't 😣🤲 I would like to read some candies or melons but I don't know where to find them. I would like to know if you plan to publish some... Or maybe you could recommend some accounts or something like that ❤️❤️❤️
Hi there! Welcome to the JunZhe/LLD fandom xD There are literally HUNDREDS if not a thousand candies involving them, so even I don't know them all lol. Of course, these are all observations from fans or facts on a timeline. They are unconfirmed, fun tidbits of what fans think happened between ZH and GJ and their true intentions are unknown and private to their own lives :). NOT that I'm saying some of these candies are not HARD candies, like, just no heterosexual explanation for them, but that's my disclaimer haha.
Here are some sources:
Xiaobabiiwawa's account lists a lot of candies, you can search through their twitter history by using advanced search on twitter and keywords, or go by dates. (I think she's moved onto the KinnPorsche fandom, but her history is all there). This is a link to their original list of candies from the Rainy Night group (one of the first LLD groups). Many of these candies, btw, ended up being confirmed such as ZZH staying in GJ's trailer during that rainy night. They are just SO sweet, I love re-reading this list every so often.
2. I go through a few June 2021 candies here.
3. This is from Feb 2022, Valentine's day candies from GJ.
4. Amber's twitter also compiles a ton of candies, I just went backwards on their timeline to see them :).
5. There was also a recent Twitter Space hosted by Blue/Flora where they discuss a lot of candies esp from the CN side! It's also very fun to listen to other people fan about JunZhe/LLD hahaha. They and Naanthots/88qilin on twitter tend to host a lot of twitter spaces for the fandom / for ZZH's case, I recommend those as well bc they're so interesting to listen to!
6. There's currently a LLDFest happening on twitter/tumblr right now, and we are all participating sharing what we love about them, sharing candies, sharing inspirational songs and such, it's very wholesome and positive! This is my twitter if you'd like to drop by, come check it out!!
My personal list of candies are organized into folders, but I have a folder for every month from like 2020 WOH filming to Now, so it's JUST SO MUCH lol. I can't list them alllll it would take me ages!
Thanks for asking, hope you to see you around!

Candy Puff - Wenzhou Fierce Faces
Alright, I finally got the last Wenzhou set in my most recent sea shipment of figs, so it's time to finish off this series! I'll post the last two sets today and tomorrow.
If you're catching up on this series of figs, this was one of the earlier fan figs that were released. It was a blind box series of 12 figs: 3 sets of Junzhe pairs and 3 sets of Wenzhou pairs. The figs could be purchased true blind box style as individual boxes, or in sets of 6 of Gong Jun figs or 6 of Zhang Zhehan figs. You could not buy them in coupled sets of Wenzhou or Junzhe only, however. For that you had to buy the whole set, or just roll the dice on individual boxes.
The set was fairly expensive as fig sets go, at 700 yuan for the 12 figs. This is roughly $100 USD, so while the per fig cost was not at all bad at $8.33 each, the whole thing certainly adds up. Plus throwing in international shipping, of course, which is quite expensive in its own right.
I missed this fig set, so like many of the earlier ones, I had to pick it up on the secondary market off Xianyu. Even more foolishly, I didn't buy the full set at once, as I was initially sucked in by some extremely cheap individual figs being sold, so had to piece it together.
But no matter, because I finally have!
Tumblr media
I mentioned in a post a few days ago that Xianyu is a mixed bag - sometimes you get love and care and pristine figs AND all kinds of extra fandom goodies, like in my Hanging Junzhe post. And sometimes you get figs that have been extremely, well, pre-loved. This set is definitely on the pre-loved end of the scale - this set looked like it has been aggressively played with.
You can tell with the wear on Lao Wen's fan - I mean, true, judging by his costume and the cut under his eye, at this point in the show he's definitely been hack-n-slashing his way through a lot, so I guess it fits. Even with a warm soapy bath and some TLC to get rid of some of the grime, these two Jianghu warriors definitely have been through a lot. But that's ok...I still love them!
Tumblr media
The name of this post is purely made up by me. I didn't know what else to call them - I've been calling them Battle Wenzhou in my spreadsheet, but A-Xu isn't really battling anything, he's too busy drinking. He does have QUITE the look though, it makes me giggle every time! Lao Wen definitely is battle ready, but has a bit of a smirk that I also thoroughly enjoy. So Fierce Faces it is!
Tumblr media
Hehehe, speaking of which, their little expressions are incredibly cute here! I love A-Xu's little aggravated facial tic.
Tumblr media
Like all of the figs in this series, they were designed with very large, very heavy heads of hair. Most figs have big heads, but these have particularly large hair. I like it, I think they're quite distinctive.
Tumblr media
Case in point. Lots and lots of big hair! Big bangs too, when we come back around to it.
Tumblr media
The figs stand fairly well. Lao Wen leans a bit over to one side, but otherwise these will stand up pretty reliably.
Tumblr media
I like the way they did Lao Wen's guan here - big and bold!
Tumblr media
Back around to these funny faces! I really like how expressive these figs are. Actually all of these series have extremely personable and expressive faces, it's definitely a trademark.
Tumblr media
Also like all of these figs in this series, they are a very heavy block o' PVC. No delicate underrobes here.
Tumblr media
More views of the hair here...
Tumblr media
And here. I kind of wish they had done some of Lao Wen's fancy braids, but the fancy guan will do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The blind boxes are of course just that, blind, so they're all the same. You can see the combo of Junzhe and Wenzhou here for each one of them.
Come back tomorrow to see the last one in this whole series - Wenzhou Market Date!
Material: PVC
Fig Count: 277
Scene Count: 20
Rating: Grrrrrrrr!

umm hi , I’m really late, late, very very late joining this fandom, if I can ever enunciate the word, late, I would do so. I just wanna ask as a very new fan of junzhe I wanna know what makes you think they’re still together up till now? Like what’s the fact that keeps you holding on to them that they’re still keeping in touch or that they’re still a couple or something (cos as far as what I’ve searched they or gj didn’t post as much clues as 2022 or i might be wrong)? we could be wrong regarding what they have but I wanna know what makes you stay? ‘cos I wanna indulge more on to this fandom but I’m worried that I’m just holding on to nothing as unlike anybody else I don’t really have much info and I wasn’t really there when things happen. I’m curious as well as hopeful that there might be something to hold on to. This is getting really long and I’m getting emotional 😭 but I’m really hoping you’ll notice my ask, thank you so much in advance 🥹🫶🏼🙏💕
Hi! Yeah I'm pretty sure they're fine lol I haven't been as active on Tumblr but on twitter there's candy floating around all the time, esp with GJ's endorsements and interview's. And recently Word of Honor / SHL was shown during an interview for GJ? I think. Also there's a whole discord server dedicated to SHL/JunZhe and we have lots of fun! It's DZZS(disciples of zhou zishu) on twitter if you're interested 💙❤️

Halloween Junzhe
We're almost to Halloween! Following up on yesterday's Two Naughty Ghosts, we have another ghost, and a vampire!
These figs were released by the same fig maker as the Halloween Wenzhou pair, but sold separately. I'd post both together, but once again am constrained by the 30-picture limit. But that's ok, these two cuties deserve a post of their own!
Tumblr media
Thankfully, these two arrived fully intact AND with all their pieces, which is always a relief. I've had some figs arrive without a key small item and it kind of ruins the set.
Tumblr media
Junjun came with his little drink glass. Sorry for the blurry pic here, I must have jogged my phone. The perils of an amateur photographer!
Tumblr media
Zhehan came with a detachable wizard's hat and a separate pumpkin! The hat simply connects via internal magnets. The magnets aren't super strong in the sense that the hat is not locked on tight, but they're strong enough to keep it on fairly securely.
Tumblr media
Neither one of these figs had a prayer of standing on their own. They're quite heavy, and Zhehan's little bare feet are cute but not sufficient to keep him upright with the additional weight of the hat. I think the weight of Junjun's cape topples him over backwards. The cape isn't very heavy itself, but even a little bit is enough to have a fig lean one way or the other.
Tumblr media
I just tucked the drink glass in Junjun's hand - it's not super secure, and will fall right out if I tilt the fig at all, but just standing like this it'll stay in place. I probably will glue it at some point, but for now I'll just leave it like this.
Tumblr media
I love Junjun's little ruffled cravat and cuffs! Very classic vampire outfit. Zhehan is looking pretty cute here too with his long ghostie sleeves.
Tumblr media
Neither costume is removable (other than the hat). Junjun's cape looks like it might detach on and off, but it doesn't.
Tumblr media
Both of them are little devils, with Junjun's horns and the little tail with a heart on the back of Zhehan's costume!
Tumblr media
I did glue these - fig stickers would not have been secure enough, and would have deformed and stretched out very quickly due to the weight and how much the figs are off-balance.
Tumblr media
You can see how well the glass fits in Junjun's hand, even with the lack of glue.
Tumblr media
Zhehan's little candy bow and rascally little grin is super cute!
Tumblr media
I think Junjun's quite dashing, and I love the smudge of blood on his cute little face there! His hair also looks fantastic.
Tumblr media
Here's a bottom's up view of Zhehan and his white shorts. I can't believe I forgot to take one of Junjun before I put him on the stand!
Tumblr media
I'll give you the other side of Zhehan here, and a look at the underside of the hat.
Tumblr media
Pretty cute! The fig maker did a nice job on these figs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The box cards are extra adorable!
One day left until Halloween - come back tomorrow for our last trick-or-treating set!
Material: Resin
Fig Count: 476
Scene Count: 31
Rating: Sweet, not spooky!

Candy Puff - Happy Camp Pink Powder
Today is the third set of these adorable Candy Puff Junzhe pairs! And there's no better way to round it out than with some pink powder fun.
The joint Happy Camp appearance is a perennial fig favorite. It's also a perennial Four Seasons Figthusiast favorite, since few things have made me laugh harder than watching Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan chase each other around in a circle!
If you haven't had a chance to watch this, please please do, it's worth every second, I promise. If you can't watch the entire thing, here's a few highlights for your viewing enjoyment!
dailymotion
If you don't have time right now, no worries... I have some favorite pics!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love this episode SO MUCH. This and the concert is what I watch if I'm ever having a tough day, it never fails to cheer me up.
Tumblr media
In yesterday's post, we had animal ears and little fangs - today we have cute little teeth in their laughing mouths.
Tumblr media
This is a nice angle on their Happy Camp blue jumpsuits. Unlike in the show, these have managed to escape unscathed from the extreme powdering.
Tumblr media
These figs are clearly from the end of the game, when their hair is half pink powder! It's an interesting stylistic choice the fig maker made to make Zhehan's shorter buzzed hair a lighter pink. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it, but it does distinguish him from Gong Jun's tousled mop!
Tumblr media
You can see more of the detail here. The cute pointing fingers are not from the pink powder game, but a nice callback to the dancing challenge.
Tumblr media
The other dancing hands are super cute too. I always like this pose, I find it especially charming.
Tumblr media
Back around the other way! Sometimes I feel this exact 3/4 view is always the one that is the least interesting, because I consistently run out of things to say on this angle! And you know me, when do I ever run out of things to say? 😅
Tumblr media
Wow, we get some height difference here! Haha, this is probably accurate to scale!
Tumblr media
There we go! Back to some cute faces. This is also a great view of Junjun's hair. I don't recall it being quite this boisterous in the show, but I like it! It goes well with his laughing eyes.
Tumblr media
We've come back around to the front and I've swapped sides! They're so cute.
Tumblr media
We've got some pink hair, all right! Junjun's swoopy hair here never fails to amuse!
Tumblr media
These figs, like most of the Candy Puff ones, stand up ok. Their feet are a little bit on the bigger side (of very small), which helps offset the weight of their larger-than-regular heads + the very stylized hair with this series.
And that's it for these series of Junzhe figs! I'm waiting on the final Wenzhou set to arrive before I do the remaining two other fig sets in that series.
Material: PVC (and a ton of pink powder)
Fig Count: 250
Scene Count: 18
Rating: Pure pink chaos!

Candy Puff - Immortal Wenzhou
These figs are part of a 6 set series of blind box figs - 3 sets of paired Wenzhou figs and 3 sets of paired Junzhe figs, for 12 individual figs.
I was still in the dark ages of not knowing that fan made figs were even a thing when these went up for sale, so I had to pick these up on the secondary resale market. The Candy Puff name refers to the original group name, which is how I search for these on Xianyu.
From what I understand, at pre-order time you could buy random true blind box one-off boxes (either Gong Jun or Zhang Zhehan), the all Gong Jun set or all Zhang Zhehan set, or the whole thing (one of each fig). The whole thing was 700 yuan, which is roughly $100 USD - so not cheap.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mean - not expensive either, from a pure math perspective of $8.30 per fig, but $100 is a lot to drop in total. This was early on too, when the fig market was not so robust, so I feel like it was less sure if the fig maker would deliver, what the quality would be like, and whether you'd actually even like the finished product. So kudos for those brave souls that sprang for the big pre-order.
Tumblr media
I actually love this entire series of figs (SHOCKER, I know) - they are nice and solid, expressive and well conceptualized, and overall very well made. They are also weighty. Like actually, these are some heavy figs.
Tumblr media
As you can tell, a lot of the weight is (as usual) in the head and massive manes of hair, but the bodies are actually very heavy and solid too.
Tumblr media
Lao Wen's side swept bangs are quite the luxurious flowing mass! Also, can I just say how cute their tiny little hands are here.
Tumblr media
I like the hairstyling - Lao Wen's hairstyle is so simple post-ending that it's nice to see it rendered all stylized and fancy.
Tumblr media
Lao Wen's bangs are so massive that unfortunately you can't get them close enough to do their ending-credit sparring pose with their hands crossing. Those tiny little paws have no chance on meeting up.
Tumblr media
This is what I mean by the bodies being solid too. Unlike the majority of my figs, these seem to be one big chunk of PVC.
Tumblr media
A shot from above so you can see more detail on the hairstyles, and the unstoppable force of Lao Wen's swoopy hair meeting the immovable object of A-Xu's own side swoop of hair.
Tumblr media
For context on how chunky and solid these heads are, here's the other immortal Wenzhou set I have, the official version (you can read the post on these here). See what I mean about the truly impressive head of hair Lao Wen is sporting on the fan-fig side?
The expressions on the Candy Puff set are in fact extremely expressive. So much character! I love any winky Lao Wen, but I will have to say I didn't realize that A-Xu had tears in his eyes (!?!!?!!) until I looked at the box card art. I thought he was just being his frowny self (and that frowny mouth is the funniest little wiggle).
I'm going to go on record saying I'm opposed to any watery-eyed post-show A-Xu on principle. Maybe those big beautiful eyes are full of a combination of tears of joy / Lao Wen you're in so much trouble. Fair! Makes total sense to me!
Tumblr media
In a surprising and generous turn of events, the Xianyu seller included some incredibly tiny little (handmade?) immortal Wenzhou dolls with this purchase. These did not come with the original blind boxes, so it was just a gift. I haven't touched their hair (you can tell!) or done anything with them. They're so small (6 cm size) I don't have any doll clothes that could possibly fit them.
Tumblr media
The box cards. The boxes themselves were beat up so badly between the original seller, the original owner, a sea shipment, and me that they couldn't be salvaged, but the boxes didn't have anything other than the blind box fig art on them anyway.

The Clown Turns out to be Me
Did I buy clown outfits for my baos just for the purpose of making this picture? I mean...that would be ridiculous, right?
The fact of the matter is, this screenshot from Zhehan's Youku interview is entirely apropos in every respect for my Word of Honor merch buying. In this particular case, me saying, dolls? No way! I'm a grown adult. To later saying, alright, maybe the official licensed SHL ones. Then later, well, OK, I'll buy fanmade dolls but only Wenzhou, because I gotta draw the line somewhere and I really need space for the figs. And then later saying, fine, fine, JUST a couple really cute Junzhe dolls. But no baos! And then, well...
Tumblr media
You see in the original post the clown shot they have on the screen is not only not cute, but kind of smeary. Now you might say that Zhehan is beautiful enough to offset any clown unpleasantness, which is true. But what's better than one Zhehan?
Tumblr media
Zhehan and his bao counterpart!
I was so charmed by these outfits the second I saw them, that I knew I had to have them. They're kind of perfect for merch clowns of all stripes. I originally only bought one, for Hanbao (for the meme!), but when it arrived in the warehouse it was so adorable I had to have a matching one for Cubao.
Tumblr media
There's a lot of pieces to this set. Here we have the front...
Tumblr media
And the back. Or the top, in the case of the jester cap. Speaking of the cap:
Tumblr media
You can see the hat brim folds up to reveal the bear clown face. I wouldn't have minded if it was stitched instead of folded, since I end up getting some of the lining showing when I put the hat on their heads. But, not a big deal.
This is not a Junzhe fan set, it's just a general multi-purpose doll outfit that the Weidian app decided to serve up to my timeline, because apparently they know exactly what I'm about. All clowning aside, that algorithm is no joke!
Tumblr media
Here we have our cutie baomodels Cubao and Hanbao, ready to show off this fancy pants set. From the bottoms up, here we go!
We have our cute little clown shoes, that fit actually quite well over their little feet. Snug but not too tight.
Tumblr media
Of course the shoes go right off to better illustrate the clothes! They'll be back. The little shirt with the ruffled collar fastens with a velcro strip down the front. You can see it straining there to fasten over Hanbao's little tummy, and over Cubao's round little tush. The shirt was definitely a bit snugger on Hanbao overall I would say, but it does fit!
Tumblr media
The little overalls are just so cute! That colorful candy-striped drawstring cord is in fact just that. If these little baos were skinnier (gasp!) you could snug it up tighter, but as it is I let it out quite a bit for their cute little tummies. There was still enough string to tie in a mini bow! I love the colorful little beads.
Tumblr media
And here we have the jingle bell bow! The jingle actually works, and accompanied me as I took these pictures. I found it quite charming, actually.
Tumblr media
The shoes have made their re-appearance, little pompoms and all.
Tumblr media
And here they are! Let me do some individual shots so you can see them up close:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Their expressions are just perfect for these outfits (she says, cackling madly).
Tumblr media
You can also mix up the outfits by swapping out the shirts. Or eliminate the shirt altogether! Lots of options,
Tumblr media
The Hanbao/Cubao expressions are just too perfect for these outfits, but since Suansuan is the light of my doll life, I had to dress him in this outfit (sans bow tie, to better show off his adorable little face). He's so cute!
You're more than welcome to use Zhehan and Hanbao's meme if you like. Like I said, perfect for all of us merch clowns out there. You know who you are!

Orange Peel Sister and Mountain Egg Girl
For something a little different, today we have fandom figs - of the fans! Yep, that's us fans there looking so cute!
These were sold separately, but I decided to post them together because they go together so well, and because they're really very specific figs.
This fig maker is incredible - she's an artist who originally designed and sold Junzhe jewelry, who then branched out into making figs and now, all other kinds of merch! These are her own designs, and she has a lot more figs she wants to make, which I really hope become reality. As you can tell from these figs, all of her art is beautifully detailed and just delightful.
For these figs, you could pick if you wanted multicolored eyes (one blue, one orange). I did not myself, but it was a cool option!
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, there was a known issue on the earlier figs that shipped, where the custom indent in the polystyrene was too big, leading to this unfortunate result! The factory fixed subsequent shipments by packing with cotton, but mine had already shipped.
Tumblr media
Something out of my fig nightmares! (BY the way, my friend asked me, if by any chance, the ghost story books that I read as a young, impressionable, and very sensitive child was by any chance Scary Stories to Read in the Dark. And YES, they sure were. I had blocked them from my memory. I also blocked the stacks and stacks of lurid pulp horror/ghost story comic books populating the kids (?!?!) section of the library out of my mind, but I'm sure I'd recognize them again if I saw them.)
Tumblr media
Despite how overly dramatic I made it sound, it was a super easy fix. Just put some glue in the neck socket (ugh) and good as new!
Tumblr media
She's adorable! Frankly, the accidental loosening of the head from the body really wasn't bad at all, I'd far rather that happen, than have the leaf or a pigtail or lollipop break, for instance.
Tumblr media
Her ponytails act as a brace to keep her standing! It's fantastic. I will, however, have to put her on one of my bigger fig stands so the hair can remain level with the base.
Tumblr media
You can see the gardenias in her hair, the symbol for Zhehan, turn into oranges in the back of her hair. What cute ponytail holders! I'm sure a version of these exist out there in the fandom world, I know the fan merch makers are too clever not to have one or more versions of this out there. This is also a nice angle to see the leaf on her orange head!
Tumblr media
She's of course wearing Gong Jun's signature color Jifeng Blue, and I'm assuming her sweatshirt is from his 361 endorsement brand that we all know and love (I must say I really do, I've been super happy with everything I've bought from them!). This however, has our two faves' initials!
Tumblr media
You can really see how her hair serves to brace her, which is good because, as you'll see later, those cute little tennis shoes on her feet are TINY.
Tumblr media
They don't look very small here, the whole fig just looks adorable and cute. I love how she modeled oversized hoodie. The rounded edges is very distinctive in her style, it gives her art a very sweet look.
Tumblr media
A great view of the gardenia in her hair from this angle, as well as the really beautifully detailed shoes. Also a perfect angle of the lollipop in her hand - she, like many of her orange sisters, is enjoying some candy! Her eyes are beautiful and her whole expression is super cute. I love her!
Tumblr media
Hmm, I guess her feet don't look that tiny from this bottoms-up angle, if I don't max out on my 30-photo limit I'll compare them to another fig. They were actually so small I was going to cut a fig sticker in half to accommodate before I realized that her hair would help hold her up.
Tumblr media
The top of her very cute head!
I mentioned the fig maker started off as a jewelry maker, right? I have my eye on this earring set of hers right now (and by "eye" I mean, it's hanging out in my Weidian cart)
Tumblr media
She had an extremely inexpensive optional add-on to include a pair of matching orange earrings, which of course I sure added on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And the earrings in action. It's surprisingly hard to take a selfie picture of your ear, I'm just saying.
Alright! On to our precious little mountain egg!
Tumblr media
No travel damage here! She arrived with no issues at all.
Tumblr media
This dandan represents the particularly sweet and innocent fans, and is big eyed and cute indeed! She's holding blue and red hearts for Zhou Zishu and Wen Kexing, respectively, emblazoned with the initials for langlangding, the CP side of the fandom.
Tumblr media
This fig is tiny! The zoom on the pictures are a bit deceptive that way in that it's so blown up it's hard to tell how small she is. I'll make sure to do a comparison post at the end!
Tumblr media
Her little blue puff of a dress is too cute. Look at the little puff detailing at her sleeves, and the little white collar. Adorable.
Tumblr media
Her hair is the rich yellow of a fluffy new chick!
Tumblr media
You can see more pintuck detailing on her little blue dress, which is also Jifeng Blue.
Tumblr media
The paint job on the eggshell hat is absolutely pristine - I imagine it was a separate piece that was glued on the figure.
Tumblr media
The little baby chick elements are SO CUTE. She did such a nice job on this fig!
Tumblr media
Aww, you can really see the faces on the baby chicks here, as well as the enormous heart eyes of his slightly bigger baby chick! You could also have opted for different colored eyes for her, but I did not. When the remainders post and other folks who want them have a chance to get them first, if there's any left of the multi-colored eyes I think I'll pick them up. I like variants and different colorways of things a lot. It's the collector's bug in me, I think.
Tumblr media
Her little legs are so, so small. Stay tuned for the comparison fig!
Tumblr media
Ooops, I didn't think this shot through by having a white-on-white effect! I put some shadow in there in a desperate attempt to make it work. Oh well, you can see the little chick, that's what's important here.
Tumblr media
And here's the two sisters! Looking adorable.
Tumblr media
WHY is this pic so blurry? 😢 You guys deserve better than my rudimentary iPhone skills, I am sorry. If you squint past the blur, you can see how tiny their little legs and feet are, especially with the little Mountain Egg sister there.
Tumblr media
Oh, you can see the different color eyes on the box photo! That's excellent, especially since I am out of pic space (30 pics go so quickly).

Happy Childhood - First Party
This is the first fig in a (so far) two part set! Fig makers sure love making cute kid Junzhe figs, and I love all of them.
There's no inspiration for this Zhehan fig that I know of, but I imagine the outfit at least comes from one of the outfits he's worn. I'll keep looking for it, and post it here when I find it.
Tumblr media
As you can tell from the protective packaging, this is a one-piece fig. Thankfully! It's easier when the figs are attached to their accessories, in my opinion. I know some folks get creative with posing their figures in different ways, but I don't have the clever streak others do!
Tumblr media
The fig maker sent along a bonus sheet of stickers and a magic eraser. Sometimes figs get smudges on them, so this was a really nice add to help gently remove them!
Tumblr media
Here's a closeup of the stickers. Since the sheet was folded over, I lost some of the ones that were on the fold, but what a nice touch!
Tumblr media
Here he is, pedaling away! Super cute.
Tumblr media
The tricycle figs in general seem to be hard to model based on how complicated and fiddly the parts were. I know the other tricycle figures (here) gave the factory some headaches.
Tumblr media
The painting work can't be easy on something this small either! I'm impressed.
Tumblr media
The wheels are fixed on this tricycle, so he won't inadvertently be scooting around my display shelf!
Tumblr media
I don't know if you can tell from this pic, but the fig has a very faint lean to the side. It's actually slightly more noticeable in person, but I have him angled on my shelf and he looks just fine!
Tumblr media
I actually don't have him on a fig stand on my shelf at all, since the tricycle is very stable.
Tumblr media
I like the little basket in front. This is where if I had the creative streak I could fill it with miniature flowers or candies or a puppy or something cute!
Tumblr media
Yes, a miniature puppy would be super cute, like a mini French bulldog Luffy. I'll have to look for one!
Tumblr media
Look how cute this detail is with the JZ initials. This is also a good angle to see why it tilts a bit to the side, because he's angled to be turning the tricycle a bit. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but it works just fine.
Tumblr media
Nice modeling on the hands - I imagine this is really hard to do well!
Tumblr media
Here's a closeup so you can see the little critter emblem on his shirt. I'm hoping this is what allows me to track down his outfit!
Tumblr media
The cute box card! Interesting that his tricycle basket is open meshwork here. That would have been crazy hard to turn into resin form.
Come back tomorrow for the next (set) in this series!
