Some of the things Kh “fans” say make me so mad:

“But Namine is Riku’s girl”

“Namine is Riku’s Kairi, as he couldn’t get the real one”

LIKE WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!

First off Riku and Namine are not a couple! No one in the series of Kingdom Hearts are dating (other than the Disney couples)

Secondly, Namine is more than someone’s ‘girl’, to quote princess Jasmine. Namine “is not a pirise to be won” she is a person! She is Namine before she’s anyones ‘girl’, she doesn’t belong to Riku. And to the people who say this, you are fully just dehumanising her, reducing her down to who she may or may not be dating. And that’s gross!

Thirdly, the idea that Riku would date Namine because he’s trying to replace Kairi, or to have his own Kairi. Is fucking disgusting, it makes Riku look like an absolute creep, and again dehumanises both Namine and Kairi by making them just some ‘thing’ to ‘own’ rather than you know PEOPLE!

Is okay to ship Riku/Namine, they’re not my pair but I can totally understand why people like it. Just don’t act like this and completely disregard both Riku and Namine’s characters for the sake of the ship
