I wanna start my blog off right so I’m going to put out this verse for whoever needs it.
Tumblr media
This verse goes with a whole series in this passage talking about what love is. Now this love isn’t just talking about romantic love but about the love we should show and the love God shows to us. If you really think about this verse you’ll see there are both sides to it.
Today’s talks about how love doesn’t involve not loves sin or the things that are wrong like drinking, smoking, cursing, using God’s name in vain etc. but rather Love rejoices in truth.
Truth on this passage means not just honesty but what is right! Like doing what is right not just by a moral standard but also by a spiritual standard as well! This love goes both ways because God shows this kind of love every day and shows us how to be like this in his word.
So let your love be firm in truth today and never rejoice on the evil things of this world!!!

Introduction + Bible Study Doc
I just realized I never really introduced myself even though I shared something as important as my testimony. My name is Kayley. I'd say my favorite colors are red and purple. I love to read. In my free time, I like to write short stories. I would like to become a screenwriter (if it is God's will of course.) Anyway...
Lately, I've been working on making reading the bible a part of my daily routine, whether it was a few verses or a few chapters. About a week in to doing so, I found that I felt that simply reading wasn't enough. I felt like God was trying to tell me that I should be reading and studying it, especially with the videos that had started to show up on my fyp on suggested bible study methods. I looked into several different templates online and created one of my own that includes the SOAP method on the second page. I've had it fort about a week now and it is really helping me understand God's word better. I thought I'd share it with anyone else who may like to use it.
If there are any questions about it, don't hesitate to ask me.

“It is fit that God should be glorified whatever becomes of you. You are dear to God, but God’s name is dearer to Him than you are…You have had a great loss and affliction upon you, but God has had glory. God has glorified Himself.”

PSALM 55 | King James Version (kjv) Bible + Audio
1 Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.2 Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.4 My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.5 Fearfulness and trembling are…

But isn't it more important to be a good person than it is to follow a particular religion. My religion says that if I help those around me and if I am a good person to people without a care of their race, gender, sexuality etc. and if I wish to follow certain teaching from my religion that make me a better person without devoutly worshipping the gods of my religion and devoting myself to certain deities, then I am a better person in the eyes of god than someone who follows the religion devoutly, prays everyday and loves certain deities deeply. My religion says I don't have to love God and I don't have to believe in him to be a good person, and God would still love me. Not everyone who is devoted to God is a good person.
The Bible states that there is no one good, or righteous. No one.
Besides, a person's 'goodness' is entirely dependent on what moral values he puts his faith in. Everyone has a religion, even if they don't call it that, and their sense of righteousness is dependent on that religion.
In which case, wouldn't following the right religion be more important than being good?

Hello, I’m A.J Briar!
I am a Christian who loves to teach and write my thoughts about verses and about what God’s word says. The truth is I want to get the word of God out to everyone and I was to help those who need it out! I feel like that’s why Hod has me on tumblr because for a long time I struggled to know what to write on here but now, I think I should write what is right.
I also like to write poetry from time to time here on this blog about life about beauty about just anything and everything.
I like to help and pray for others and I love to help anyone who has biblical questions or needs. So if you have any prayer requests or biblical needs let me know in comments or message or where ever.

Know All About Collecting Ancient Bible Pages
People looking to acquire a rare Bible page are driven by diverse reasons. Some believe it’s an unparalleled joy to possess a historical piece of the “Word of God” and share it with others while for others, such a page could be an antique item worth buying.
A handful of people also want to get hold of a rare Bible page to honor those martyrs who were imprisoned, tortured, and burnt at the stake just because they decided to help the common people get easy access to the “Word of God.” For these people, possessing an antique Bible page is a way to show they respect those who worked fearlessly and untiringly to translate, print, publish, and make the published copies accessible to the commoner.
Whatever be your reason, knowing a few things will help you make an informed choice.
Ancient Bible Page Collection -Who Started It?
Ancient Bible page collectors typically look for pages from celebrated Bibles with certain characteristics that make them historical pieces worth possessing. Francis Fry, Gabriel Wells, and Otto Ege are some notable names who helped collectors acquire old and rare Bible pages.
An interesting incident regarding the collection of such pages is linked to Gabriel Wells, an antiquarian bookseller based in New York. After he got a fragmented copy of the renowned 1455 Gutenberg Bible in 1921, he took the book apart completely and sold individual pages for $150 each. This gave collectors a chance to get hold of the pages of the first book (a Latin Bible), which was the first thing ever printed with a moveable typeface by the inventor of the printing press.
Now that you know a bit of history about old and rare Bible pages, here are some things to remember when buying such a page.
Checklist for Buying Old Bible Pages
Novices may not be able to distinguish pages from an authentic rare Bible and one that's relatively new. To avoid being duped, it pays to buy from places that specialize in antique Bible pages.
You should also exercise extreme caution when buying from individuals or online auctions. Individual buyers often have no idea about their Bible page’s edition and blindly trust those they bought it from. If their buyers had sold a fake Bible page claiming it to be authentic, you can get ripped.
Online sites that let you bid and buy an old Bible page could sometimes misrepresent facts or hide the real facts. This too could be dangerous and cost you dearly if you aren’t cautious.
Wrapping Up
It will help to keep the above pointers in mind and buy an authentic ancient Bible page from a reputed dealer to ensure it’s worth every dime you pay.
