Supplies might not last too long, as this really does look like a Force-fuelled feast, but if you're in the area head to Disneyland in Anaheim and Galaxy's Edge where you can have your fill of some amazing galactic cuisine. There are also snacks at Downtown Disney, Tomorrowland, the Milk Stand and Kat Saka's Kettle at Galaxy's Edge, and even at the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart. https://twitter.com/starwars/status/1658947540149227521 [amazon box="B0BXN5TSG2"]

New Post has been published on https://vacationsoup.com/star-wars-galaxys-edge-disney-world-orlando/
Guide to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Opening August 29th 2019
At long last we have an opening date for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. And it's sooner than we expected. The new super immersive land will open at Hollywood Studios, Disney World Orlando on August 29th 2019. Disneyland in California has an earlier opening date of May 31st 2019.
This is going to be a totally unique and immersive experience like no other. Think Wizarding World of Harry Potter on out of this world, galactic style steroids. It's the largest and most technologically advanced single-themed land expansion ever in a Disney park.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Walt Disney World in Orlando will be opening in two phases:
Phase One: On August 29th, you'll be able to visit the remote planet of Batuu. You'll get a senses overload of unique sights, sounds, smells and tastes. And you'll become part of the story as you sample galactic food, sip exotic beverages and explore unique merchant shops.
You'll also be able to take the controls of the most famous ship in the galaxy aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
Phase Two: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the most ambitious, immersive and advanced attraction ever imagined, is set to open later this year. No set date as yet. This fully immersive ride will put you right in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
youtube
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Access:
Visitors to Disneyland between May 31 and June 23, 2019, will be required to make a no-cost reservation, subject to availability, to access the new Star Wars land. At this time, no reservation is offered or required for Disney World in Orlando. Although a similar system could be launched to control crowds.
Disney Parks Blog has a paragraph that tells us: Capacity for the parks, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and its experiences is limited. Access to the park, land and experiences may be restricted or unavailable depending on guest demand and other factors.
Welcome to the Edge of Wild Space: Black Spire Outpost on Batuu
Batuu is a far-flung destination along the galaxy’s Outer Rim, located between Unknown Regions and the Frontier of Wild Space.
This remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes. Its prominence was bypassed by the rise of hyperspace travel.
Today, Batuu is home to Black Spire Outpost, an infamous port for smugglers, traders and adventurers traveling between the frontier and uncharted space. It’s a convenient safe haven for those intent on avoiding the ever expanding reach of the First Order.
The modern village was built on the remains of crumbling structures by a long-extinct civilization. The landscape is dominated by the petrified remains of towering ancient black spire trees.
As you stroll through this thriving port, you might encounter some familiar faces, from Rey, Finn and Poe to BB-8 and Chewie.

Two Attractions Bring Star Wars Adventures to Life
For the last four decades, Star Wars fans could only imagine what it would be like to blast across the stars inside the Millennium Falcon. Or race through the halls of a Star Destroyer.
Once Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is fully open, two signature attractions will surely delight fans.
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, will open on August 29th. You'll be right in the cockpit of “the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.” Take the controls of the Falcon in one of three unique and critical roles as the ship hurtles through space.
You could be a pilot, a gunner or flight engineer. There will be multiple ways to experience this attraction.
Height restriction for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is 38 inches.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will open later in 2019 and will place you right in the middle of the Rebellion. You'll play an active role in the fight against the First Order.
Fancy a faceoff with Kylo Ren? Your journey will take you right inside a full-size starship and aboard a nearby Star Destroyer.
youtube
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge FastPasses:
At this time, no attractions in the new Star Wars land are included in the Disney FastPass+ system. However, Disney have announced they will "continually evaluate our operations and services in order to help provide a great Guest experience”.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Will Feature Out of This World Food & Beverages
Any idea what a Blue Milk actually tastes like? You'll find the answer when you visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Food is one of many discoveries just waiting to be made while wandering the lively market of Black Spire Outpost.
Experience the new land’s expansive array of galactic food and beverages.
Oga’s Cantina At last, you'll be able to drink at one of the galaxy’s most infamous watering holes. The blaster-bolt scorches on the walls tell a story. Bounty hunters, smugglers, rogue traders and weary travelers all gather to share tales from around the galaxy.
Top Row: Moogan Tea, Blue Bantha, Bloody Rancor and Black Spire Brew | Middle Row: Carbon Freeze, Oga’s Obsession and Cliff Dweller (all non-alcoholic) | Bottom Row: The Outer Rim, Bespin Fizz, Yub Nub and Fuzzy Tauntau
Young crew members will enjoy unique beverages served in unique vessels at this local cantina. Adults can sip exotic concoctions like Jedi Mind Trick, Bad Motivator IPA or Toniray wine.
As you sip and savor, you'll be able to listen to spirited musical entertainment provided by DJ R-3X, otherwise known as Rex, the former Starspeeder 3000 pilot droid from the original Star Tours. Rex re-invents himself as the cantina’s DJ, and he’s as quirky and talkative as ever.
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Amongst the crumbling walls of the old marketplace, Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs has docked a food freighter loaded with fresh supplies.
Top image is Phattro and Moof Juice non alcoholic cocktails. Bottom image is raspberry creme puff with passion fruit mousse | chocolate cake with white chocolate mouse and coffee custard.
He’s ready to satisfy the appetites of visitors and locals alike with an array of exotic offerings. His travels across the galaxy enable him to stock up on exotic ingredients to create new and exciting galactic grub for this local eatery.
He is proud of his Tuggs’ Grub, labelled "a traveling diner for diners traveling". His dishes are inspired from his time working for Maz Kanata on Takodana.
Ronto Roasters Located in the Black Spire Outpost market. You'll notice the large podracing engine firing up a barbecue pit for mouth-watering Ronto Wraps.
Pictured is the Meiloorun Juice, Turkey Jerky and the Ronto Wrap filled with spiced grilled sausage and roasted pork.
As you queue up to order, you'll encounter a former smelter droid, carefully turning the spit of meats. You will also be able to choose from a variety of exotic non-alcoholic drinks like the Sour Sarlacc or Tatooine Sunset.
[button type=“large” color="" link="https://orlandoinsidervacations.com/instant-quote-orlando-vacation-home-rental/" icon="" ]Get An Instant Quote to Stay in a Vacation Home[/button]
Milk Stand Vendors at the Milk Stand will serve two of Batuu’s most legendary treats: Blue Milk and Green Milk. This exotic galactic delicacy is served frozen and is a favorite among locals.
Blue Milk was first seen in “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope” when Luke Skywalker sat down for a family meal. Green Milk was introduced in “Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi.”
Kat Saka’s Kettle You'll discover an Outpost Mix of uniquely flavored popped grains. This unique popcorn snack has a combination of sweet, savory and spicy flavors.
Black Spire Outpost Market
The village’s sprawling market offers a treasure trove of exotic wares from familiar and obscure star systems. Stroll through this bustling street market and you'll find local delicacies, treats and surprises from all corners of the galaxy.
Droid Depot At this unique store you'll be able to construct your own astromech droid. Pick pieces and parts off a conveyor belt to build one of two core models (R-series or BB-series). Then customize your very own indispensable sidekick with various parts and colors.
These droids will be capable of interacting with elements in the land. Additional programming chips and accessories can be added to further customize these new friends. In addition, the Droid Depot will offer pre-built droids, droid-inspired products and more.
Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers Ever wanted to customize and craft your very own lightsaber? At this unique workshop you can do just that. This covert workshop is packed with unusual parts, whimsical pieces and miscellaneous memorabilia collected from the far reaches of the galaxy.
You'll be able to choose from four unique themes:
Peace and Justice
Power and Control
Elemental Nature
Protection and Defense
You'll really feel the Force as you build these elegant weapons from a more civilized age.
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities You'll find a unique selection of the most rare and mysterious items, representing different eras of the Star Wars galaxy.
There's a rotating collection of jewelry, ancient tools, rare kyber crystals, holocrons, ancient Jedi and Sith artifacts. There's even a unique collection of famous lightsabers.
Top: Holocrons | Left: Jedi artifacts | Right: Relics left behind by the Sith
As you explore the shop, you'll see Dok at his desk. The large Ithorian will be checking his inventory, taking incoming calls and barking occasional orders to his assistants.
Creature Stall If you're a collector of unique and hard-to-find species from across the galaxy, then this store will delight you. Gaze into cages and crates at unique creatures.
The store owner, Bina, is dedicated to supplying her customers with a plethora of rare and fascinating creatures. If you've been searching for a cackling Kowakian monkey-lizard, porgs or tauntauns, then pop in and see Bina.
Black Spire Outfitters This unique store showcases the latest in accessories. If you're looking to blend in with the locals, or mix and match clothing to create your own galactic style, Black Spire Outfitters has the perfect outfit for you.
Or perhaps you need a brand new robe for when you get back to your own planet? Whatever is on your wishlist, you'll find an eclectic selection of stylish galactic gear.
Toydarian Toymaker This stall is full of toys crafted by busy toymaker Zabaka the Toydarian. (This flying alien species was first seen in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace”).
In this whimsical workshop, you'll find an array of artisanal playthings and handmade collectibles. If you look carefully through the frosted back window of her workshop, you'll spot Zabaka's silhouette as she crafts Wookiee dolls, artisan-style plush characters, wood and tin toys and musical instruments.
Resistance Supply If you want to pledge your allegiance to the Resistance, you'll find this makeshift supply store at the Resistance’s hidden command area. The stall sells Resistance pins, badges, hats, and other accessories to help guests feel like part of the cause.
First Order Cargo If you want to showcase your allegiance to the First Order, choose among the gear and supplies that the 709th Legion brought with them to First Order Cargo. This First Order storage dock is located near the market. Easily identified by a never-before-seen First Order TIE echelon, the cargo location will offer you the chance to pledge loyalty by purchasing pins, caps, gear, model ships and more.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Personal Interactions
Interactions with the Play Disney Parks mobile app will enhance your engagement on Batuu. You'll be a part of the action as it unfolds all around you. Will you aid a smuggler? Join the Resistance? Or pledge loyalty to the First Order?
In this all-new environment, you'll be able to make choices about your own experience. Your choices could impact your adventure as you travel throughout the Star Wars land. This in-depth level of storytelling is part of the total immersion that will distinguish the 14-acre land from any other themed land in history.
The app will also provide new opportunities to engage with the land, such as translating a galactic language, learning what’s hidden inside crates and containers, or accomplishing certain tasks by participating in missions.
You'll also be able to use the Play Disney Parks app to interact with a variety of elements in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, such as droids, ships, media screens, door panels and antenna arrays.
Iconic Musical Score for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Music has been an integral part of Star Wars from the moment the iconic themes of Academy Award-winning® composer John Williams first introduced us to this galaxy. The music for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge continues that tradition with a suite of all-new Williams-composed themes written especially for the land and its attractions.
youtube
Along with a collection of original cantina songs created by composers and songwriters from around the globe, this new music will deepen guests’ connection to the land as Williams complements and builds upon the iconic fanfares he created for the Star Wars films.
We're so looking forward to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opening. If Pandora: World of Avatar is anything to go by, the new Star Wars land is really going to be out of this world. And so are the crowds. prepare for insane levels, people!

Malta is cousins (first once removed) with KAT SAKA, proprietor of Kat Saka’s Kettle, and the Saka Homestead. (His great aunt married into the Saka family — also long time Batuuans.) Sometimes she gives him free popcorn, but mostly it just means she complains to him about Hondo importing grains from her competitors.

Best to Share With a Friend
Happy Popcorn Day! I just returned from my own visit to Batuu and had a blast. This is a solo Vi Moradi fic.
She finished up another hard day of work for Savi as one of his Gatherers. It wasn’t that she needed to continue the job, as being the leader of the Batuuan Resistance base took up a lot of her energy, but she enjoyed the company of everyone she worked with. They were a nice group of coworkers, friendly, trustworthy. Quickly, Vi began to think of them as a second family.
Like many days after work, she searched around the bustling market for a place to eat. However, without her coworkers calling the shots, she was left to her own devices to choose. There were so many options in Black Spire Outpost, she didn’t know where to start. The smells of the stalls wafted through her nostrils, enticing her with the warm scents of cooked meat from Ronto Roasters and the old docking bay.
The popping sound against metal caught her attention. She almost forgot Kat Saka’s kettle was in this part of town.
It wasn’t exactly a meal, but Outpost Mix was a wonderful treat. She could afford to skip a healthy meal once in a while.
"Bright suns!" Vi greeted as she ordered a bag of the treat, dusted with red, pink, and purple powder for flavor and color. She was always told artificial coloring on food was a questionable addition, but right now, she didn’t care about the luxuries of being able to afford to be picky. There were days when her stomach growled and she was transported back to the days after the Battle of Crait, when the Resistance was short on food and days without eating were common. Those memories reminded her how lucky she was to run a base on a world like Batuu, where no one was worried about running out of food.
She sat down on a low duracrete wall by the stand and popped a handful into her mouth. The treat almost melted in her mouth, salty and sweet dancing on her taste buds in harmonious unison. Vi smiled with the first bite.
Staring at nothing in particular, she noticed smaller details of the marketplace she hadn’t before. Amateur graffiti artists left their marks in simple designs and single colors, expressing their support for the Resistance or their wish for Black Spire to go back to its neutral roots. Oga certainly kept that stance, though she had no problem profiting off either side.
A sign next to the kettle stand caught her eye. Vi hadn’t noticed that before either.
Perfect for sharing with a friend, the sign read against the dirty beige stone.
Looking down at the bag in her hands, she agreed it would be a fun treat to share. Too bad Rey and Chewbacca had already fled the outpost, the mission with Green Squadron and a handful of new recruits going awry from the start and forcing the ex-stormtrooper Finn out of his own undercover mission on a First Order Star Destroyer. If they were still here, she would have all bought them bags of popcorn to share.
Days like these, Vi often wondered what life would be like for her after the First Order fell. Sometimes, news of missions gave her a sense of finality, like the end of the conflict was growing closer. She wasn’t sure if she was right, but sometimes, her intuition was correct about these things. Savi would tell her it was because the Force liked her, even if she wasn't a Jedi like Rey. Vi wasn't sure what she believed in, but she saw the amazing things Rey and Kylo Ren could do and knew there was more to the Force than she thought she could ever understand.
The first thing she wanted to do when she was no longer needed was visit her brother. The second was to find a better wig or a hair stylist that could work with her growing hair. No longer cropped to the base of her skull, Vi was growing annoyed by the hair net she placed on her head every morning to keep her natural hair from sticking out from under her wig. Her natural color was also showing from the fading bleach job she did months before.
Even if victory was there’s – and she had total faith it would be – it would always be bittersweet. So many had fallen for the cause and their sacrifices would always be remembered.
She imagined such a comrade beside her now. A man with blue-black hair and a history he’d rather not be remembered for. One that did her wrong and wanted so desperately for her to forgive him.
“Caf’s still as weak as a newborn bantha,” he would complain if he were here, “but this stuff’s not bad. Anything’s better than the paste we got each dinner back in the Order.” She knew he would reach in the bag for more.
Her hands twitched slightly against loose kernels, reminding her she no longer had feeling in some of her fingers thanks to his botched torture job.
“Quit complaining,” she would say to him. “I’m feeding you, right?”
“Like you’d let anyone starve,” he would laugh. “Mother Hen.” He would say this fondly, using the nickname the recruits called her when they thought she wasn’t listening.
At times, she struggled to think of Cardinal and Archex as the same person, but despite all her wishing, the reality was, they were. The man in the scarlet stormtrooper gear haunted her nightmares. The one underneath the armor had been a friend. Even if Leia said everyone deserved a shot at redemption, Vi wasn’t sure she completely could forgive Cardinal for the trauma he induced.
Or maybe this was a case of forgive but never forget. He really regretted what he’d done, and though she wasn’t sure if he ever thought himself as officially part of the Resistance, all the work he put into their base showed his sincerity of seeking a purpose, seeking her approval. Archex did everything he could think of to try to make it up to her. He made lots of mistakes doing so – she certainly didn’t appreciate the kiss he planted on her, even if she tried to wave it off – but every act showed the person who had been underneath the armor the whole time. It must have been hard to realize you wasted twenty years of your life serving the wrong people and she couldn’t blame the starving fifteen-year-old he had been for joining them in the first place.
Vi often felt a sense of loss when she thought about what Archex could have been had he not gotten mixed up with the First Order. He was a loyal soldier, took every cause he stood for to heart, even if he regretted it later. If Rey could be such a loving and strong woman despite the years she spent on Jakku, surely the same could be said about him?
Complex probably was the best way to describe their relationship and Vi knew even decades from now, assuming she survived, she still would never quite understand him.
If she couldn’t share a bag of popcorn with a friend, the next best thing was to share with the memory of one.

With Black Spire Outpost and this specific example, Disney parks have gone full meta in design - amidst the assorted crap in the repair bay of Hondo’s operation while you wait for Smuggler’s Run is a shipping container full of the same space popcorn you can get at Kat Saka’s Kettle. Photos by me, close up and larger context.
Tumblr media
This essentially breaks down the wall between the fictional characters and you - you eat the same food from the same vendor in this remote Wild Space town as them! This is the first time I believe I have seen that level of winking acknowledgement placing the theme park guest as equal with the story in an overt way, and cannot decide if it’s crass commercialism (buy the space popcorn we sell, those random guys here who fix the Millennium Falcon love it!) or next level storytelling and a deliberate broadening of the art form in a positive way. A mixture of both, I suspect.

Thanksgiving at Galaxy’s Edge: A Fangirl Review
Like many a Star Wars fan, I’ve been curious to visit Disneyworld’s Galaxy’s Edge. I was selected to attend the Galaxy’s Edge panel at Star Wars Celebration Chicago and felt pretty hyped. Course, after the park’s opening, initially, I read and heard mixed things. However, after watching a steady stream of Youtube videos from a wide range of other visitors, I felt it would be a park I’d enjoy. I love Star Wars. I love Disney. I went to Disney on my honeymoon.
Tumblr media
So, several months ago, I decided I wanted to take a babymoon trip there. It just so happened that the best time to get away coincided with Thanksgiving and my birthday. Which made it an extra special trip for me.
I assumed the park wouldn’t be too crowded prior to the Dec. 5thopening of Rise of the Resistance. Ideally, if I could have waited for the opening of Rise of the Resistance, I would have. However, as I am expecting, I couldn’t even go on Smuggler’s Run. Thankfully, BuildABetterMouseTrip has a list of what moms-to-be can and can’t ride. For me, the trip was more about enjoyment of it park itself: the scenery, the shopping, making the most of my photo pass and personal photography projects, and the food.
Tumblr media
We had mid-day Magic tickets. Galaxy’s Edge didn’t feel too crowded when we first arrived, but by afternoon there were more people hanging out than I expected. We had been told by former Florida residences that Disney isn’t too busy on Thanksgiving or Black Friday, but from our experience, it was. If I had it to do over again, I would have bought a regular ticket and got up earlier. Perhaps, either the improvement of the economy and/or the rise of shopping Cyber Monday gives people more free time to likewise go to Disney on the holidays.
Tumblr media
After having some great photos made in front on the park’s X-wing and Falcon (which I hope to use as before and after pregnancy photos when I’m someday able to visit with my child), our party headed directly for the Milk Stand.
My husband has a TON of allergies, so I researched a lot of food prior to our trip.
Blue Milk is non-dairy and plant-based, made with coconut and rice milk with dragon fruit, pineapple, lime, and watermelon.
Green Milk is also made with coconut and rice milk with mandarin orange, passion fruit, grapefruit, and orange blossom.
Tumblr media
I thought I would like Green Milk better, because I normally like oranges. People seem very divided and/or loyal to one flavor. Once I got to the Milk Stand, I got sentimental and had to have Blue Milk. It turned out to be the right choice for me. In our party we had 3 Blue Milks and 2 Green Milks and, in our opinion, Blue Milk was better. I’m unsure if the milk is blended fresh every day and the flavor greatly depends on whom is mixing it OR if it’s on tap. At the time I didn’t think to ask.
After our milk adventure, our party divided into Smuggler’s Run attendees and those of us who wanted to shop. I believe the wait for Smuggler’s Run was about 90mins? I know we did a lot of chill, slow-paced shopping while we waited on the others. We immediately went to Savi’s Workshop, but unfortunately all the time shots were taken and we didn’t have a reservation. I, sadly, had read on various blogs that reservations for Savi’s Workshop and the Droid Depot were unnecessary. This is untrue. It kinda felt like the Savi’s Workshop bouncers were laughing at our lack of planning, but thankfully this was the only unprofessional experience we had that day with Galaxy Edge employees.
Tumblr media
So, my husband ended up just buying Vader’s lightsaber from the Den of Antiquities. We get that Savi’s is part show and an experience, but I think we would have been fine just buying the parts with instructions and building a lightsaber more like the Droid Depot or on own our time at home. Come on, Luke Skywalker, and now, headcanon, I assume, Rey, didn’t have a fancy class to build her lightsaber. I think Galaxy’s Edge needs more lightsaber options.
Tumblr media
Anyhow, somewhat defeated, we headed on to the Droid Depot, because I specifically wanted to build a purple BB unit for my baby. Her nickname, because we aren’t sharing her name even with family right now, is BB. The Droid Depot employees were very kind and friendly. Our unreserved wait was about 15mins. I guess my one criticism would be, for November, it was super hot in the Droid Depot. They need more fans.
Tumblr media
Once purple BB was complete, we took our time at the other shops. At Kat Saka’s Kettle I had a Coke and blue-green classic popcorn.
Tumblr media
They also have red-purple popcorn but I was told it was more like sweet Fruit Pebbles. I bought these too cute Rey and Kylo Ren dolls at Toydairan Tomaker.
Tumblr media
I guess my favorite area was the First Order Cargo.
Tumblr media
I bought a Kylo Ren Supreme Leader pin and was thanked for my loyalty by the awesome in-character cashier.
Tumblr media
We saw Chewbacca and Rey, and the Stormtrooper duo make 3-4 rounds. We only saw Finn once on our way out. Kylo Ren from a far distance was drawing a big crowd.
Tumblr media
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo was our Thanksgiving Meal. I feel like compared to Oga’s Cantina, I had no idea this place existed.
Tumblr media
My Roasted Endorian Chicken Salad was very good. If you like mild tiki masala, the taste was similar. My brother Revan/Devan also highly recommends Felucian Kefta and Hummus. He’s not vegan, but loved the taste of the plant-based meatballs.
Tumblr media
The Batuu-bon was magical. My husband ordered it after he wasn’t content with his Fried Chicken Tip Yip. To be fair, he has a throat condition, so we’re used to him having to order multiple items and wait-and-see what he can actually enjoy eating. Pretty much, we would go back just to eat this bon. This bon needs more love.
Tumblr media
In conclusion, it was a super fun trip. Worth it.
We felt the park was well designed. Visually interesting. And, yes, for those who need to know, plenty of restrooms. Despite the crowd, I never had to wait in the dreaded ladies restroom line.
Like others have said, I hope in the future there’s more to do at the park. At this time, I could only shop and enjoy the decor. If you’re more into rides, I can see how it would be frustrating. Those in our party who went on Smuggler’s Run loved it. They came off the ride absolutely thrilled. However, they wished the ride had been a little longer for the amount of time they had to wait. Hopefully having two ride attractions, or more, will eventually cut the wait times in half?
Tumblr media
Someday, I can also see the need for specific character meet and greet times within the Galaxy’s Edge area. I would hate it if my child wanted to see a certain character and missed out.
youtube
After seeing this opening ceremony for Rise of the Resistance, I personally wish there was a Star Wars stunt show at Galaxy’s Edge. They could make it ever bit as cool everyday as the Indiana Jones stunt show IMO. *fingers crossed*

Oga’s Cantina
Oga is the boss of the underworld found at Black Spire Outpost. It should also come as no surprise that Oga also runs Oga’s Cantina. Despite running the cantina, she rarely is found at the cantina. Instead, she prefers to receive payments remotely and most of the inhabitants of Black Spire Outpost have never even seen her. Despite not being seen, her drinks are something to be seen and experienced. People from around the galaxy stop by Oga’s Cantina to experience the famous drinks that are offered there. These drinks use unique ingredients and “otherworldly” methods. On top of the unique drinks, Oga is regularly bringing in beers, cider, and wines. While at the cantina, guests enjoy the entertainment offered by DJ R-3X (also known as REX). While many guests will recognize him from the original Star Tours adventure as the pilot aboard the Starspeeder 3000, he has now reinvented himself to be a DJ. He continues to be as quirky and talkative as ever as he tries to just do his job.
