The Deal / The Perfect Deal is a kdrama about what happens if you let your intrusive thoughts win. like. what if... we turn simple hangout to get drunk into the kidnapping case? it's been two days we have no proper plan or ransom money, cops tried to arrest us for one (1) night because of a noise complaint from a neighbor whose gf is a police academy graduate (but we don't know that yet), there is a very scary man on our tail, also local gangs and debt collectors, but we blissfully unaware of any of it 'cause like we said...it's been two days.... 1.5 of it we spent minding our hangover and dealing with our emotions...

Кім Дон Хві (фільми «Колядка», «In Our Prime», а також остання його поява відбулася в дорамі «Зниклі безвісти: інший бік 2») позитивно розглядає пропозицію, як і Сон Сок Ґу («Щоденник моєї свободи», фільми «Кримінальне місто 2», «Дорожньо-аварійний загін»).

I think about Sung-rok's death. maybe Seon-ho's reaction at that time was not as intense as when Yoon died, but I think he was silent and broken inside. you know he was destroyed bit by bit throughout the series. (and so was Hwi) but I think the difference between Sung-rok's death and others for him is that Sung-rok actually died because of protecting him. I mean, the deaths of his loved ones are mostly related to Seon-ho in some way. although none of them isn’t his fault, but he blames himself. about Sung-rok's death, I think Seon-ho felt more guilty. since he always had a strong tendency to commit killing himself and self-destruction, he went ahead this time as well, but Sung-rok didn't leave him alone and openly told him that the result didn't matter to him, but that he knew it his duty to protect Seon-ho. consider that plus the way he died. with that hideous situation and no time to say or hear a single word as farewell, appreciation or anything else. so it's even harder to hear Seon-ho's sobbing and to see him behave differently with Hwi, sad in silence.

Jae Hyo my dude... it's a second time law enforcement shows up at your door! if you were a lil bit smarter or tried to improvise a little you could've had a working cover story for you and Joon Sung - like you could've just imply that Joon Sung is more than friend and THAT'S IT! people after hearing it, would've connect the dots themselves therefore create their own theory and make their own assumption that actually are not true! bc in their head the drunk fight is no longer a case of terrible neighbors but a love quarrel that went out of control, the suspicion behavior? oh no, it's bc they're embarrassed of police involvement (and also they're trying to be lowkey ya know? since they're a g-)
