Sabikui Bisco managed to top both the new work list and overall ranking for the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi (This Light Novel is Amazing) guidebook in 2019. The story is set in a world ravaged by a plague-like wind that caused everything to rust and corrode. Bisco Akaboshi is a mushroom hunter who teams up with a doctor named Milo to hunt down Sabikui, a medicinal mushroom that's said to be a possible cure for the rust, which will also help save Milo's sister from the condition.

Name...
Tumblr media
As I’ve hinted before; ‘Chiyo’ is more of a nickname; a chosen name. ‘Chiyoko’ would technically be her full given name. Only people she’s fine with calling her ‘Chiyoko’ are Kisuke, Akon, Mayuri & Starrk (the latter three only being aware of this name due to Chiyo being too young to have formed a distaste for it). Other than that, she will very quickly correct you. The chances of someone other than those four even KNOWING that it’s her name are VERY slim. Nearly impossible.                 But going by ‘Chiyo’ isn’t the only FABRICATED part of her name. ‘Koizumi’ is not her family name, but merely one that her brothers picked up when they went into hiding. Due to the fact that her family were a former, lesser noble house HEAVILY involved with Rukongai’s crime syndicate (Yakuza, more or less), it was made very apparent that their father’s name, ‘Kuromori’,  was not a safe one to maintain. After his murder & the stripping of their family’s nobility, the siblings & their mother (still pregnant with Chiyo at the time) had fled to Rukongai & remained in the more dangerous districts.                Fear that the people their father had WRONGED would come after them, or even the Gotei 13, had fueled their decision to pick up a new family name. ‘Koizumi’ was INCREDIBLY common. Inconspicuous. People would not think twice about such a name. “Kiniichi Kuromori” becomes “Kin Koizumi”. “Noubo Kuromori” becomes “Nobu Koizumi”. “Chiyoko Kuromori” becomes “Chiyo Koizumi”.                She’s sure now that there are a few captains (her own captain. The late captain commander. Most likely Kyoraku) who are WELL AWARE of her roots, but are polite enough to not judge children by the sins of their father.

MIRACULOUS VOICE ACTING
First of all, this took me 3 hours to pull together, and second of all you’re welcome.
This is a masterlist of all major roles (besides Miraculous Ladybug) the voice actors of our favourite characters play.
Before I begin, a few notes:
I got most of them, but in case I missed any, feel free to reblog with your own additions to this list and/or check out the IMDb page.
Before I get into the individual roles of the Miraculous VAs, I made a list of many other shows/franchises in which they act together. It’s a surprisingly long list, so the VAs of our favourite characters (Marinette, Adrien, Alya, etc.) must know each other quite well, which explains their excellent chemistry.
If you want (read: need) some quality LadyNoir flirting, watch the final episodes of Sword Art Online English Dub (the scenes between Kirito and Alicia Rue). If you close your eyes and just listen, it’s basically the LadyNoir flirting we all deserve. You’re welcome.
Also, if you want to hear Ladybug and Chat Noir’s voices except badass, check out Ajin: Demi-Human and look out for the characters Izumi and Kaito.
If you’ve always wanted to beat the crap out of Hawk Moth, well, you’re in luck! You can! (Kind of). His VA plays a few video game characters who are killable, most noteably Emperor Titus Mede II and Nazeem from Skyrim. The Emperor is assassinated by the player (you!) at the end of the Dark Brotherhood questline, and Nazeem can be legally killed during the Siege of Whitrerun during the Civil War (Stormcloaks) questline. Again, you are welcome.
Without further ado, let’s begin!

Ryohei Kimura, Kenichi Suzumura, Daisuke Ono Join TV Anime Uramichi Oniisan
The official website for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Gaku Kuze's comedy manga Uramichi Oniisan has announced three additional voice cast members.
Ryohei Kimura (Ryota Kise in Kuroko's Basketball) plays Hanbee Kikaku, who belongs to the sales planning department of MHK Enterprise, the broadcaster of the educational program "Maman to Together" and is in charge of merchandise development. Kenichi Suzumura (Shinn Asuka in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny) plays Saito Uebu, a young employee, who also belongs to the digital planning department of MHK Enterprise. And Daisuke Ono (Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler) plays Matahiko Nekota, the manager of the bar "CAT KICK" and the protagonist Uramichi Omota's junior in his physical education university days.
    Message from Ryohei Kimura:
I'll play Kikaku, the character who has a unique stimulus in this stimulating series! Playing him is physically exhausting, but more than anything, it's fun. I hope everyone who touches 'Uramichi Oniisan from this anime will love him!
  Message from Kenichi Suzumura:
I'm Suzumura, the role of Sairo Uebu. 'Uramichi Oniisan' is so funny! Adults have many faces, don't they? (laughs) In a way, Uebu is a person who is not two-faced, so maybe he's having fun living... (laughs) I hope you all enjoy the anime!
  Message from Daisuke Ono:
Nekota is aloof, and seems like a useless adult, but I think he is actually a person with common sense. I played him seriously and loosely so that he would stand out among the other members with rich personalities. I hope you like it.
