9th Tara Bala - The Wind Under your Wings
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tara Bala is a Vedic Astrology concept, that talks about Nakshatras of a different planetary rulership consecutively affecting each other in various, subjective ways. Notice, that this concept has nothing to do with traditional Planetary Rulership when it comes to the classic friend-enemy relationships. It is simply a Jyotish concept, that describes the dynamics of Interdependent Nakshatra relations.
In order to understand Tara Bala, you have to first know the order of the Nakshatras, which I personally start with the Sun, but what matters really is the order, as the Nakshatra Wheel is an Infinite Circle with the end being simultaneously the beginning. For those who don't know, the order is as follows:
Sun
Moon
Mars
Rahu
Jupiter
Saturn
Mercury
Ketu
Venus
Since the Nakshatras go in their consecutive order on a loop, every Nakshatra ruled by the same planet is gonna share the same relationship with other Nakshatras ruled by this same planet. Which brings us back to my conclusions, that friend enemy relationships don't agree with Tara Bala. For example, traditionally Sun and Venus are enemies but Venus Nakshatras are best friends of Sun ruled Nakshatras. Such contradictions can be quite interesting to observe.
In the Table in the Picture you can see Jyotish Names of what Tara Bala relationships represent. In this article I'm focusing on the most beneficial one, but here is a quick breakdown of all of them. Notice, that just because a relationship is difficult, doesn't mean it doesn't have its merit. Fun fact, most yoni consort Nakshatras have a difficult Tara Bala, showing how that tension in a relationship can contribute to sexual attraction. Also, remember that this judgment of Nakshatras is totally relative, what is one Nakshatras best friend is another Nakshatra's enemy, depending on what it is trying to achieve.
Janma "of the same origin" - Nakshatras Ruled by the same planet tend to go into conflict, because of what I like to call a sibling rivalry effect. They're similar yet different, so they fight for space and supremacy. But just like siblings, there is an unquestionable element of sameness.
Sampatha - Support. Shoulder to Lean On.
Vipatha "going away". Ultimately wanting different things and heading in different directions, separating despite initial attraction. Many Yoni consorts share this relationship, and it creates a specific push and pull effect, that can lead to reproduction.
Kshema - Protection. The qualities of this Nakshatra protect the interests and goals of the original Nakshatra.
Pratyaka - Held Back, Reproached, stunting the growth of the Original Nakshatra.
Sadhana - Wealth, Manifestation, Opulence. Allows the Original Nakshatra to Blossom.
Naidhana - Death, deadly effect on the other, killer to its best interests.
Mitra - Friend, they're best interests are mutually friendly towards each other.
Paramitra - Best Friend, offers best possible support towards the other's interest.
The most beneficial Tara Bala relationship of all is Paramitra, best friend. Having observed it in real life, the workings of it are quite fascinating. 9th Tara Bala is the Nakshatra that gives your Birth Nakshatra that extra edge, that special, unique something that makes Your own Purpose Shine.
Fun fact, if you possess the 9th Tara Bala in your own chart, you attract support in that area easily through people represented by that planet, and are in a way energetically self sufficient, even if through the other. You don't really do anything to work for it, it's just karmic luck, and you could manifest support of a given planet easier. Otherwise, you rely on other people with a given Nakshatra more desperately to get the boost, which is what life is for the most part, most human beings generally need each other to survive and take things to the next level.
I will now give you a Tara Bala example, with allusions to Vedic tradition and mythology, so you can understand better how it works.
Punarvasu is Uttara Bhadrapada's best friend. Claire Nakti pointed out interesting themes of the Cinderella trope linked to Uttara Bhadrapada. Punarvasu is known for being the embodiment of fairy godmother. So Punarvasu, Fairy Godmother, is Cinderella's, Uttara Bhadrapada's, best friend, because she's the one who magically transforms her life when no one else helps and everything seems bleak and hopeless. Punarvasu is the one that makes Uttara Bhadrapada's potential shine out, so that the public can notice it.
Saturn exalts in Swati, and in an interesting research Claire Nakti recently pointed out this Nakshatras connection to bugs and insects. And isn't it so Saturnian, the concept of insects. They disgust some, we take them for granted and kill them easily, they are small individually, but they are absolutely indispensable to our planet's ecosystem and survival, and can be deadly in masses if provoked. Punarvasu, ruling caring for the environment and renewing the ecosystem, will be the one to appreciate the insects' selfless service the most. What makes insects so useful is their movable nature. Insects travel to random places, spreading pollen, and bringing it back to their nest. Sometimes, in a true surprising Rahu fashion, they might just bring something magical and unexpectedly helpful, and thus they contribute to evolution. From my real life experience, Swati people tend to just randomly bring home something small but useful, that they picked up on their spontaneous journeys, from the flea market, vintage stores or discount sections. Since Punarvasu rules recycling and renewal, Swati being able to find something nourishing even in what other people reject is the ultimate champion of providing material for Punarvasu to renew.
As you can see from the examples above, the ParaMitra Nakshatra is something that greatly enhances the quality of fulfilment of the reference Nakshatra, a gamechanger that brings its existence to a whole new level. Naturally, you have to watch every planet in your chart, as every planet is going to matter, together with its conditions or potential afflictions. Below, you can consult your own Nakshatras, and see if you have any of these relations in your chart.
List of "Best Friends" of Each Nakshatra:
Kritika - Purva Phalguni
Rohini - Uttara Phalguni
Mrigashira - Hasta
Ardra - Chitra
Punarvasu - Swati
Pushya - Vishakha
Ashlesha - Anuradha
Magha - Jyeshta
Purva Phalguni - Mula
Uttara Phalguni - Purva Ashadha
Hasta - Uttara Ashadha
Chitra - Shravana
Swati - Dhanishta
Vishakha - Shatabisha
Anuradha - Purva Bhadrapada
Jyeshta - Uttara Bhadrapada
Mula - Revati
Purva Ashadha - Ashwini
Uttara Ashadha - Bharani
Shravana - Krittika
Dhanishta - Rohini
Shatabisha - Mrigashira
Purva Bhadrapada - Ardra

What are Lord Krishna’s promises in the Mahabharata?
1. About His Re-incarnation
God has made a promise regarding his reincarnation in verses 7 and 8 of Chapter 4. He says, "Whenever there is the damage to righteousness, Oh Bharata, and there is an increase of unrighteousness, then I arrive myself onto this earth in a physical form. To protect the moral people, to punish the wicked, and to re-establish the principles of dharma, I reincarnate myself in every yuga.
2. About Yoga Brashta
Yoga Brahsta is a person who has deviated from the path of yoga during his life because of non-control of mind or because of his death before attaining spiritual knowledge. Arjuna asks his doubts regarding the Yoga Brashta in Verses 38 of Chapter 6 like this. "Hey, Krishna, does such a yoga brashta's life will become like a scattered cloud with no material or spiritual success?
Lord Krishna has given confidence to Arjuna in his words from verses 40 to 44 of Chapter 6. He says, "Oh Arjuna, such a person will not suffer any loss either in this world or in the other world because one who has performed his responsibilities for attaining spiritual knowledge will not suffer any hardship. Such a person will reach heaven where moral people reach after death. He spends there for some years and takes birth in a rich family.
If such a person is a Viragi (Hermit), he will take birth in a spiritually knowledgeable yogic family even before reaching heaven. However, obtaining such a birth is rare in this world. There, in that family, this person will easily get his knowledge from his previous life and will try to attain complete spiritual knowledge in this life.
On the other hand, the person who takes his birth in a rich family will easily get attracted to God because of the knowledge carried over from his previous life.
3. About Reaching Him after one's Death
Even though one has led his/her entire life wrongfully and unethically, Lord Krishna has made a reassuring statement about such kinds of people in Verse 5 of Chapter 8. Lord Krishna says, "Those who renounce their body while remembering me at the moment of death will directly reach to me. There is no scope for any doubt in this."
4. About Yogas and Kshemas
God has made a promising statement in Verse 22 of Chapter 9 which reads as "Those who always worship Me with strong, pure, and selfless devotion, I take care of their Yogas (those things which his devotees lack) and Kshemas (Protection of those things which his devotees possess)."
5. About His Devotees
Lord Krishna has also made a reassuring statement about his devotees in Verse 31 of Chapter 9. He says, "Even if the most wicked person worships me with strong devotion, they should be treated as virtuous because, in reality, he has firmly decided that there is no other best thing to do than to worship God. Hey Arjuna, he will soon become a good person and also enjoys eternal happiness. Firmly understand that my devotee will never be lost."
6. About Responsibility
All Vaishnavas like this upcoming promise very much and this is the strong support and backing for us to lead our lives forward. Lord Krishna in verse 66 of Chapter 18 says, "Offer all your responsibilities unto me. Surrender your complete self unto only Me, the omnipotent, the omniscient, and the omnipresent. I will relieve you from all sinful results; do not be depressed."

Sukhino Bhavantu, Musical Prayer For Global Peace via India
Today I discovered HCL Concerts who promote and broadcast musical concerts of musicians from India - some of them very famous, all of them excellent. https://m.facebook.com/HCLConcerts/?rc=p
Many of the recorded concerts are over an hour long; see them for free (and short promos) at https://www.youtube.com/c/HCLConcerts/videos
A short one from June, just 3:33, is this fantastic video.
Sitar, vocals, cocept, composition: Purbayan Chatterjee (India-born) Saxophone: George Brooks (USA-born) Percussion: Pete Lockett (UK-born) Vocals: Gayatri Asokan (India-born, married to Purbayan above) Guitar: Kunle Ayo (Nigeria-born) Keyboard/production: Nakul Chugh (India-born)

Information on the prayer underlying the song lyrics:
Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu is a Sanskrit mantra which means in a paraphrase:
“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.” https://www.gaia.com/article/what-is-the-meaning-of-lokah-samastah-sukhino-bhavantu

From Wikipedia
Lokaksema or Lokakshema is a Sanskrit word meaning Global Well being. Loka means world and Kshema means welfare in Sanskrit.
Many Hindu rituals and ceremonies end with a generic prayer such as Lokāḥ Samastāḥ Sukhino Bhavantu, meaning " Let the entire world be happy."
The first written attribution or textual source of "lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu" seems to be stone inscriptions from the Rulers of the Sangama Dynasty (1336 A.D.-1485 A.D.)

Empowering Indian Agriculture: The Significance of Crop Insurance in a Vibrant Landscape
India, with its diverse agro-climatic zones and millions dependent on agriculture, faces the ever-present challenge of ensuring food security amidst unpredictable weather patterns. In this dynamic scenario, crop insurance in India emerges as a crucial tool, not just for individual farmers but for the resilience of the entire agricultural ecosystem.
Understanding the Landscape:
Agriculture in India: The Backbone of the Economy:
Agriculture employs a significant portion of India’s population and forms the backbone of the nation’s economy. The livelihoods of millions are intricately tied to the success of their crops.
Vulnerabilities in Indian Agriculture:
India, with its diverse geography, is prone to a variety of risks, including monsoon variability, cyclones, and pests. These uncertainties make the need for a robust risk management system imperative.
Crop Insurance Programs in India:
Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY):
Tumblr media
Role of Government Support:
The Indian government actively supports crop insurance through subsidies, making it accessible for farmers across the country. The integration of technology, like satellite imagery, further enhances the accuracy of assessments and claims.
Challenges Faced by Crop Insurance in India:
Despite its importance, crop insurance faces challenges such as low awareness, delayed claim settlements, and the need for improved infrastructure. Addressing these challenges is key to maximizing the benefits of these programs.
Opportunities for Improvement:
Embracing technology, increasing awareness through outreach programs, and enhancing the efficiency of the claims process present significant opportunities for further strengthening crop insurance in India.
Contributing to Sustainable Practices:
Crop insurance can play a pivotal role in encouraging Indian farmers to adopt sustainable agricultural practices. With financial security, farmers are more likely to invest in techniques that promote long-term soil health and environmental sustainability.
Conclusion:
In the vast fields of Indian agriculture, crop insurance stands as a beacon of support, offering a safety net against the uncertainties that farmers face. As India strives for agricultural sustainability and food security, the continued evolution and effective implementation of crop insurance programs are not just policies; they are investments in the resilience and prosperity of the nation’s agricultural landscape.

Devi Aprajita Sadhna
Aparajita means that which is never defeated.
Some important facts regarding Goddess Aparajita is also known as what is her original nature?
The beginning of the worship of Goddess Aparajita was done after the Navadurgas destroyed the entire lineage of demons during the Devasar Sangram, and then in the Himalaya, there was a difference between Maa Durga taking the grass of Shami to worship its Adi Shakti Aparajita from its original back powers.
Later, the kings of Aryavarta established Vijay Dashmi in the form of a victory festival. Which came in vogue after Navratri.
It should be remembered that Vijay Dashami of that time was originally auspicious by the gods to conquer demons. Naturally, the tradition of celebrating Dushara is celebrated on the tenth day of Navaratri. After this, when on earth and dev-demon were all troubled by the atrocities of Ravana in the Treta era, then Purushottam Ram was made to end Ravana on the day of Dussehra which once again appeared in the form of VijayaDashami and added a step along with it. With Dushami.
If it is said that the connection between Vijay Dashami and Devi Aprajita is much deeper and favorable to the Kshatriya kings, then there is probably no obscurity but it should not be accepted as a preconception that Aparajita is Goddess of Kshatriyas and other People can not worship them.
In many places, various stories and methods are found in relation to Devi Aprajita, but the basic distinctions is very reflected in them. Before doing this, one must consult a knowledgeable person before getting relief from some mistakes and impurities. However, achieving hundred percent accuracy is not a matter of general restraint, but minor impurities can be used for success criteria. Silence to raise as well as torrid are also found that more good results is dispensed to Ashuddhi !
Devi Aparajita is one of the nine back powers of Shakti, whose order is as follows, and many stories related to Jaya and Vijaya are also prevalent, which are known to be very integral to Goddess Parvati - the very destructive power of power Aparajita, which can never be undefeated, nor lets its seekers ever see the face of defeat - in the situation of all the obstacles in the odd circumstances Not even to save your seeker feat is trivial to aparajita.
1). Jaya
2). Vijaya
3). Ajita
4). Aparajita
5). Luxurious
6). Two-dimensional
7). Ahamora
8). Mangla
9). Nitya
The description of "Dharmasindhu" in relation to the sadhana of Aparajita is as follows:
The method of worship of Aparajita in Dharmasindhu is summarized as follows:
"In the afternoon go to the north of your village, Place of worship shuold be cleaned and should be dried with cow dung, should draw a picture of eight angles with sandalwood, then should be take Sankalp:
"Mam Sakutumbasy Kshema siddh‌yartham aparaajitaa poojanan karishye"
The canonical resolution for the king is the following type:
"Mam Sakutumbasy Yaatraayaan Vijaya siddh‌yartham aparaajitaa poojanan karishye"
After that, aparajita should appeal in the middle of that picture and likewise should appeal to her right and left, Jaya and Vijaya, and should say 'Namaskar to Kriyashakti' and 'Namaskar to Uma'.
After this:
"Aparajitaaya Namah,
Jaiyai Namah"
Vijayaaya Namah: With Apocalypse, Jaya, Vijaya, worship of Aprajita, with mantras should be done with 16 treatments and should pray, 'O Goddess, the Supreme power of the worship which I have made to protect myself, accept it and you go to your place. So that I can again plead your appeal and worship again. "
There is a difference in this for the king.
The King should make such a request for victory:
"The immortality (Goddess Aparajita) that has been wearing a dress, who has wear a shiny gold necklace (girdle), who desires to do good, give me victory"
After this he should immerse it by praying above. Then everyone should go towards Shami tree raised in the north east outside the village and worship them.
Before or after the worship of Shami, people should be gather. Some people should worship Ram and Sita on the occasion of Vijaya Dashmi, because on that day Ram had conquered Lanka. The description of the worship performed by the king in detail is described in Hemadri's Philosophy. Shami Pooja details is found in Nirnay Sindhu and Dharmasindhu in parts.
If the Shami tree is not there then the Ashmantak tree should be worshiped.
I should worship the Goddess Aparajita according to my own power, just like other power goddesss pooja are done!
First worship Guru (Teacher)
Second Ganpati worship
Bhairav Poojan
Goddess worship
Finish worship with Panchopchar, Phadopchar, etc. at your convenience. Perform mantra chant - chanting chanting, and finally complete the Home method.
Chanting Mantra: There is often a state of confusion regarding the mantras, because if you have done a little bit of study and discovery in the past, then in that situation there are many mantras that are outside of your knowledge, ie many times their seeds May be different and sometimes the mantra can be different, in this case, limited knowledge confuses you - I have only advice for all members, If you come in the "Hreen, Kleen, Kreen, Ain, Shreen, etc., then do not look at those mantras with discrimination because the three distinctions of the supreme power of power become the benefactor of the devotees, also known as Trishakti (Mahakali-Mahalakshmi -Mahasaraswati) Other power distinctions or variations are exclusively with these three basic elements, namely all the mantra etc. They revolve around some of the original seeds, apart from this, It depends on the fact that whatever Mantra the creaior or the devotee had created, It is what exactly would have been his attitude and need at that time?
However, all these things are far and away from the long thought and do not wander much and will just say that if ever there is no understanding of the world of mantras, then the easiest way is to use the Gayatri Mantra of that God or Goddess.
As:
"Om Sarvavijayeshvaree Vidmahe Shaktih Dheemahi Aparaajitaayai Prachodayaat"
Chant the above Gayatri according to your power and get the blessing of Devi Aprajita - Goddess always invincible and endowed, this is my wish.
