One thing that I never mention is just how much influence Moriarty has over Sherry--I have imagined her encountering him throughout Limbus Company's story many times, and it's really hard to describe the way he makes her feel ...
She's of course angry at him and wants to take revenge for what he did to Watson, but she does also have this nagging fear of him, too. Yes, there's the fear of him hurting the Sinners, since they're her friends, but there's also this lingering fear of knowing she could be just like Moriarty--it's the classic ''you and I, we're the same'' trope for the hero and villain. The key difference between these two is that Sherry, despite her claims, does care about others, and has developed meaningful relationships built on trust, while Moriarty views his subordinates as pawns that he can command as he sees fit.
But, since I imagine Sherry heads out alone to face Moriarty in her Canto (at first, that is--I have plans /lh), it's very easy for him to get into her head by pouncing on her decision to come along and drilling in his belief that she doesn't trust the Sinners and Dante enough to help her defeat them. That Sherry can only truly depend on herself, and no one else. And, though this is untrue, his words would be enough to make her falter, because ... well, he's right, in a way. Sherry has a very hard time trusting people after the one person she loved most was killed because she trusted him.
So, sure, she can say she went off alone because she wanted to keep the Sinners safe from Moriarty, but is that really the truth? It may appear she's thinking of them, and putting their well-being first, but isn't she truly doing this so she doesn't get hurt again? Or is it because she wants the satisfaction of bringing Moriarty down herself, without the others trying to intervene and stop her? Does her vengeance--the justice she feels she deserves--matter more to her than her friends?
That, I feel, would be her lowest point. The moment that her deepest fear has been realized--that she and Moriarty are the same.

All this crying about Good Omens references at the baftas or how much Crowley was in David that night is starting to annoy me. Like, I love that show too, David said he really enjoyed working on it, but fuck, he's not as emotionally involved with it as they want him to be. Why do they think his whole life revolves around Good Omens and Michael Sheen. people like ingra or lcb who look for GO references in every fart of his are ruining my enjoyment of watching this show and participating in the fandom 🫠 Sorry, needed to rant
No need to be sorry anon. You have a very valid and very genuine opinion. My brother just told me today how this fandom had over time sapped the joy out of his relationship with the actual show. You know this show, the characters, the whole thing was something that used to bring us joy once, and had the power to heal our hearts and fill us with hope and bring us together, but now sometimes even the mention of it makes me cringe. I used to have so many ideas for what I wanted to see in a season 3 but now I just don't care. I used to physically squeal seeing Aziracrow interact but now I've become apathetic at best.
I think their "obsession" has become really unhealthy and it's sending shock waves into the whole fandom. This is worse than the people who only see DT as the tenth doctor or MS as the guy from twilight/wolf from underworld. Come on people! Both of them are SO MUCH MORE. Like all normal people they like something a given amount and then they go and do other things in their lives all of which have their given importance. Thier lives don't revolve around this one thing no matter how hard ingrav or ngo want it. Please stop this craziness and lets be a sane fandom for once. Can we please please please prove that there is one fandom in the world that didn't fall prey to the same things Supernatural or Sherlock did?! We can be better!!!!

what does a usual day for sherry look like ? like her morning routines, if she has anything in specific she likes to do or eat everyday, or how she usually winds down in the evenings? :o
This varies pretty significantly depending on the Mirror World, but for the sake of brevity I'll just focus on LCB Sherry's routine after she joins Limbus Company--it changes a bit as time goes on, but that just means I can talk about her a bit more!
Every Sinner aboard Mephistopheles is assigned their own room (usually, one door is shared between three Sinners, with each opening said door to a different space that makes up their personal lodgings--it's different for each person, and is based upon their mental state), and Sherry is no exception! The only difference is that she doesn't share her door with anyone else--the only room you'll find behind it is Sherry's, and while this seems odd, nobody raises any objections.
In the first few Cantos, Sherry keeps her distance from most of the Sinners, so her usual routine is to wake up, get herself ready for the day, eat breakfast (while perusing the morning paper), and then taking her seat before roll call. She's usually one of the first people to arrive, alongside Meursault and Outis. Her evening routine is fairly similar--following Dante's dismissal, Sherry will retire to her room, engage in one or two of her preferred leisure activities (reading encyclopedias or the paper, fiddling with her chemistry set, playing the violin, or simply smoking while deep in thought) before getting read to sleep--she very rarely deviates from this pattern.
But, as time passes and the Sinners spend more time getting to know each other, Sherry's routine changes--she'll still rise on her own, but she'll dress and then join Meursault so they can read the paper together while having their breakfast. Then she'll join roll call and the Sinners will begin their work for the day. Her evening routine doesn't change that much until around Canto IV-V, though--at that point, she's grown fond of most of the Sinners, and will join them in their evening activities should they invite her. Most of the time, though, she'll retire to her room and engage in her usual hobbies, with the change of allowing others to visit her, if they wish--they simply have to knock on her door and announce themselves to her.
And, of course, post Canto VI she finds herself having Heathcliff as an overnight guest fairly often--he does sometimes stay before Canto VI, but it becomes much more frequent after, and she adjusts her routine to accommodate him. She always gets up before he does, but she'll wait for him to wake before leaving to have breakfast with Meursault, since sometimes Heathcliff likes to join them (mostly to be close to Sherry, but he's pretty fond of Meursault, too). Her evening routine doesn't change too much, even with Heathcliff present ... he usually sleeps on the couch (by his own choice), and he doesn't mind her engaging in her hobbies so long as she doesn't ignore him. Heathcliff usually falls asleep first, and Sherry will ensure he has a blanket before retiring, herself.

One little known fact about Sherry is that she has a ridiculously high spice tolerance. The Sinners find this out on accident when dining out at a restaurant of Hong Lu's choice, where he tells them about a certain spicy mustard served there that they can dip their food in.
Most of the Sinners are incapable of handling the sting but Sherry just keeps eating the mustard. She's in tears and has to keep scrunching up her face, but she absolutely loves the burning sensation whenever she takes a bite. Hong Lu, of course, is very happy she likes it, and Ryōshū is mildly impressed she can handle it, but the other Sinners are a bit terrified of just how much spice Sherry can handle.

Hm ... revisiting The Final Problem--in my brain, that is--and thinking about how Watson gets called back to an inn as a ploy to get Sherlock alone ... perhaps I can use that for Sherry's lore.

Also, I'm going to change Sherry's weapon ... originally, she just used her fists, but I was double checking some things while typing up my last post, and realized that Sherlock often carries a cane with him, and, after a bit of thinking, I've decided that suits Sherry better than simply using her bare hands (and also this makes her a bit more unique, since Meursault is the Sinner known for punching things).
It works a lot better with my concept for her E.G.O, as well, because the cane itself could be a Blunt weapon, she could have a sword hidden in it for Slash attacks, and then the handle of the cane/sword could detach and be used as a pistol for Pierce damage! I'm thinking it's probably a weapon she commissioned from a Workshop ... and it could have her "keyword" engraved on the shaft.

It varies depending on the Mirror World, but LCB!Sherlock received her augmentation sometime during or after college, and it took her a long time to learn how to control her newfound strength.
Her hands, arms, legs, and feet have all been augmented, so she's twice (or perhaps thrice) as strong as the average man, but it came with a small caveat--Sherry had to spend months relearning how to do even the most basic of tasks. Walking, writing, picking things up ... for a long while, anything she touched ended up broken. This isn't the case, now, of course, but ever since she received her augmentation she's had a hard time allowing herself to express physical affection--or, at least, a harder time than usual, if that's even possible.
It's not that she can't control her strength, but rather that she fears she'll accidentally hurt someone by hugging them too tight, or by crushing their hand in her grip, or by dislocating something when patting their shoulder. It isn't until she joins Limbus Company and bonds with the Sinners that she starts to overcome that fear--partially because Dante can easily reverse any injuries she may cause, but also because she realizes that some of the Sinners (namely, Heathcliff and Don Quixote), tend to express affection physically through hugs or shoulder pats, and Sherry wants to reciprocate their affection.

I've mostly been playing Insaniquarium and Zuma's Revenge, these past few days, and I'm only bringing that up because I think Sherry plays similar games on her computer in the Rosespanner Mirror World.
Rodya--the Rosespanner Workshop Representative--spends most of her time playing the slots on her computer when she's on the clock, and while Sherry is far more diligent when it comes to getting her work done, she's also prone to ... apathy, let's say. So, sometimes, she'll sit at her desk and feed her virtual fish or play match-three games.

✨✨ For Sherry!!
Always happy to provide more Sherry facts ~!
✨ Sherry has a complicated relationship with T. Corp, the Wing that oversees District 20, as her brother, Mycroft, is a high ranking member of the company. However, because of Mycroft's status, as well as her family's wealth, Sherry has "withdrawn" a large sum of time, which she saves specifically for when she's forced into combat situations.
To summarize a rather complicated bit of lore, people in T. Corp can have days that are longer than 24 hours, and those with longer days move much, much faster--so fast that those around them appear to move at a snail's pace, while they're nothing more than a blur. Whenever Sherry is engaged in a particularly tough fight, she'll tap into the time she has saved up, sometimes adding up to 100 hours to her day, which makes her move incredibly fast. She also uses this ability to avoid death in certain situations, which is how she avoids dying from Kromer, Ricardo, and the most recent Canto boss when all the other Sinners fall victim to them.
She only uses this ability when it's absolutely necessary, though! She's not fond of how T. Corp operates, even if it serves to benefit her.
✨ Speaking of T. Corp and District 20, almost everyone who lives there has a timepiece, and Sherry is no exception! She has a pocket watch, which was a gift from her brother, and she carries it with her at all times. She'll insist it's out of habit, but it's also because having something that reminds her of Mycroft provides her with some comfort--Sherry isn't the most sentimental person, and she isn't as close with her brother as she once was, but he's always been there for her, and she misses him more than she'd care to admit.

✨️✨️✨️ requesting sherry facts pls and thank you :3 <3
Sherry facts coming right up!!
✨ If she appeared in canon, Sherry would (currently) have ten Identities--sorted as follows:
- R. Corp Commander ~ 000 - Rosespanner Workshop Fixer ~ 000 - Seven Association South Section 4 Director ~ 000 - Night Awl Right-Hand (Walpurgisnacht ID) ~ 000 - T. Corp Class 3 Collection Staff ~ 000 - Zwei Association South Section 5 ~ 00 - Cinq Association West Section 3 ~ 00 - Öufi Association South Section 3 ~ 00 - Devyat' Association North Section 3 ~ 00 - LCB Sinner ~ 0
I think it's amusing she has so many Association IDs, especially since she's critical of them in her LCB ID--she does lend a hand when certain Associations request her service, but she isn't fond of them.
✨ Since I'm talking about what she'd have in-game, I also want to share the finalized list of Sherry's (current) E.G.O!
- Default (Currently Unnamed) ~ ZAYIN - Lasso ~ TETH - Bygone Days ~ TETH - Pursuance ~ HE - AEDD ~ HE - Frost Splinter (Walpurgisnacht E.G.O) ~ HE - Everlasting ~ WAW
✨ Sherry does appear in a handful of Mirror Worlds as an NPC of sorts--notably in the Pequod and MultiCrack Mirror Worlds, where she works as an innkeeper and a Workshop Fixer, respectively.
However, in some Mirror Worlds, she appears as a manifestation of one of her E.G.O--for example, Lasso!Sherry appears in the same Mirror World as Wild Hunt!Heathcliff.

I updated my gif sets for him and Faust, yesterday, but my goodness does Hong Lu's Lasso Corrosion do something to me. /lh
(It's the way it references historical torture/execution methods, what with me being a girl who majored in history and all.)
Sherry's E.G.O would take after Hong Lu's more than Faust's, given that Corrosion line--her "fugitive" is, naturally, Moriarty. Also, it's kind of fun to give her the "horse E.G.O" when the first Sherlock story I read was Silver Blaze--in which Sherlock recovers a stolen racehorse.

Now that I've seen the Pass E.G.O that released this week, I can finally talk a bit about the ideas I mentioned last night!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
^ This is Lasso--based on the Abnormality Rose Hunter, which has been a favorite of mine for a while--and the E.G.O animations include the horse--the Sinner rides it while attacking with a whip.
Naturally, my first thought upon realizing the E.G.O would be coming from Rose Hunter was the idea of Lasso!Sherry being paired with Wild Hunt!Heathcliff. They'd both have horses--Heathcliff has Dullahan, the "headless horse," and Rose Hunter reminds me a bit of the "headless horseman" with its design (even though it's likely based on the huntsman from Snow White, going off it's E.G.O Gift encounter in Mirror Dungeons ... though it still is technically headless /lh).
But I of course have two further pieces of evidence to support Sherry getting this E.G.O. The first is something Demian says in a cutscene following the conclusion of Canto VI:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I made myself physically ill going back for these screenshots, so that's great. /sarc
Anyway. If Ca.ther.ine is Heathcliff's "rose," then Sherry being the "Rose Hunter" has a bit of a more ... vicious interpretation.
The last thing I have is Hong Lu's line when he undergoes Corrosion while wielding Lasso:
Tumblr media
^ This perfectly encapsulates how she feels about Moriarty. Remember, Sherry's Moriarty killed the person dearest to her and then left--he "fled," in her eyes. Her goal is to hunt him down, and I love that this E.G.O--or at least it's Corrosion--would resonate with her.
Also the default of this E.G.O is primarily who'd be shipped with Wild Hunt!Heathcliff!! I think she'd find Dullahan fascinating. And also she'd see her work with Heathcliff similar to her fulfilling some sort of bounty or contract ... she has some sense of loyalty to him and I think it gradually evolves into affection.

If you're still answering for the emojis oc ask game? How about for Sherry:
🍪 - What are their favorite scents? 🍁 - What is this oc’s favorite season? ☔ - How does this oc feel about rain?
(-dragonsmooch)
I am still answering for them, don't worry!!
🍪 - What are their favorite scents?
This is an interesting one, since I don't often think of what kind of smells characters would enjoy ... I think she loves more natural smells, though. Like the way it smells after it rains, but also certain floral aromas (so long as they're faint)--I like to think Heathcliff has a bit of a floral scent (perhaps from the perfume he got in Canto V), and that's why Sherry enjoys them so much ... they remind her of him.
🍁 - What is this OC’s favorite season?
Sherry prefers fall and winter--fall is her favorite, though. The rain and snow allows plenty of evidence to be left behind at crime scenes--mainly footprints--which makes her job easier. She also likes to wear lots of layers, so she isn't fond of spring or summer ... too warm.
☔ - How does this OC feel about rain?
She loves it! Rainy weather is her favorite--she loves curling up in her armchair with a cup of tea and a good book or the newspaper during stormy days. And, as mentioned above, it helps her with her work, so she considers it to be the perfect weather.

🐰⚡ 🌨️ - for sherry!!! :3
I'd be happy to answer these for her!!
🐰 - How huggable is this OC?
Not very! Sherry isn't that physically affectionate, as is, but hugging is specifically reserved for only those she's closest to, and even then she'll only consent to a hug in certain circumstances.
⚡ - Does this OC have any unusual or “irrational” fears?
I wouldn't say she has any unusual or “irrational” fears ... Sherry's main fear is fairly common for a denizen of the City--losing those closest to her, a fear she developed following Watson's death.
🌨️ - If this OC had a day free from all their responsibilities, how would they spend it?
This question amuses me given her source material, because Sherlock is known to be quite lazy when not occupied with a case--so Sherry would probably be the same. She'd lounge about, ignoring things that didn't interest her ... though, these moods also strike her when she does have responsibilities, which can be frustrating for her fellow Sinners (and Dante, of course).
