Liking this Glenn so far,,, coaxing myself through this bc fanart makes me twitchy. He's forming and I'm happy and so excited to scruff him..... Maybe make him wider.
+ credit to @felsicveins for that Glenn you see on the side. Their Glenn is one of my favs so I put him on the side as a refresher from my brain :]

Wait wait wait. You draw on your phone??? Using your fucking fingers??!??? Doesn't that take forever? How the hell do you keep references on your screen when it's that tiny???
Hahah yeah
I've never used a stylus; I don't think it'd make much sense on a phone screen tbh? besides I've been using my fingers for more than a decade anyway 'n it's what I'm used to heh
Ehhh... I don't know if it takes forever or nah. Honestly I'm not.. the most patient person regarding my own creations; my lines are sketchy and rough looking by default and I don't think I've ever made clean lookin' lineart like. Ever. The most amount of time spent on one drawing is usually around 2 hours in one sitting. I Very Rarely start on a drawing, pause and then pick up up again the next day. If I don't finish it in that same setting, chances are I never will.
As for references... well uh.
I.. Don't really use them? I know I should, and typically when I do I do tend to think it looks better but honestly I feel like I'm doing something I'm not supposed to if I use references. For that reason, if I do use a reference, it's usually a picture taken by me.
When I draw bigger and more.. nuanced pieces, I tend to sketch it out on paper first. A phone screen really isn't all that big, and so sketching it out on paper makes it easier visibility-wise. I will keep the reference visible on my phone screen if I'm using one, then.
Hope this answers your questions!
