“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

Xiao felt that phrase resonated with her deeply, for she too feels like she’s going insane in this pattern. This horrid routine of his.

She expected nothing of it at first but now three babies later it becomes obvious that’s he truly doesn’t care but yet, she’s hopeful (always so hopeful) that every time he comes back around it’ll be different.

It never is.

It starts the same every single time; once their child turns one he becomes sweeter, much nicer, more lovely and romantic.

She falls for it every time, falls back in love with the man and hopes he’ll stay this way.

He never does though, right after they learn another baby is on the way, he goes back to his dungeons and what not. Barely paying attention to his wife, children, and friends.

Every time it happens Xiao wonders why she married this man and what ever happened to the man she agreed to date; it must've been an act she thinks, an act she was too naive to see through.

Her friends warned her at first as well, saying it was too dangerous marrying a random traveler, who knows where he came from. Xiao didn’t listen, she should’ve though.

She should’ve never married Theodore Fable.
