Took a good photo of Sylus and imagined him half transformed into a beast so I drew what I had in mind on the photo! 🙇🏻‍♀️

Little Story below 👇🏻( angst, evol curse,)

Half transformed and near death... his power ran out after days of pure torture and terror, feeling his body rip apart and healing instantly in a constant battle to his sanity had completely drained him of any fight left.

He was as good as dead, he knew that.

He had wished for it several times screamed internally for someone to end his suffering, for his pain to end.

It was a good thing that his "blessing" had run out so he was starting to return to his original form. He didn't know where he was, all he knew... he was somewhere in the Desert.

Not remembering exactly what happened the last couple of days except the pain and loss of his body Control and a sickly Metallic taste in his mouth, he knew he had surely done something unspeakable again.

Lifting his head from the hot sand where he had laid half buried and was content on staying until some vultures found him, he spottet something else.... a color different from everything around him, it was red, purple and teal, an older woman in the distance, judging by her figure and hunched back.

Struggling to get up on his two feet he decided to follow her but staying far away as not to be noticed.

End.

Okay for real! I can't wait to learn about his backstory.

"...Caleb?"

Not yet daring to believe, she reaches out a shaky hand to touch, to confirm.

"Hey, pip-squeak."

A sob rips through her in response to the familiar nickname she never expected to hear again. Not in that voice. Not from those lips. The precarious dam that has been holding back her grief for the past six months finally bursts. She crumbles along with it, collapsing to the ground, clinging to him like he's her last lifeline. In his arms, all the emotions she has kept bottled up finally find their release and come spilling out in harsh waves. All the questions of how, and where, and why are pushed aside because the only thing that matters right now is that he's here. So solid. So alive.

"Caleb... You... -- I thought... I... -- I missed you. So much." It's all she can manage to force out through the sobs that are tearing through her, shaking her whole body.

Caleb tightens his grip on her. He has loved her for longer than she could possibly know. His heart aches to see her like this. Yet... a part of him is almost elated seeing the force of the emotions she's spilling out all for him. The way she is clinging to him so desperately. Calling his name with so much longing. Maybe, just maybe there is a chance... 

He never wants to let go of her again.

"I'm here now pip-squeak, I've got you.”

Listen, the logical part of my brain tells me circumstances will likely prevent them from having a big emotional moment when Caleb finally comes back, but this is what my heart craves, and what our poor MC deserves. ♡
