day 3.

kurang lebih sudah hampir setahun saya tidak update dengan tumblr yang saya punya. sekarang saya akan lebih rajin lagi untuk meng-update tumblr, karena saya melakukan beberapa hal untuk meningkat rasa kepercayaan diri, fokus dan hal lainnya. di tempat saya berlatih untuk memperbaiki diri sebagai The Real Man, saya harus menceritakan kembali apa saja yang saya lakukan setiap hari di tempat tersebut. berikut saya akan mencoba menceritakan hal-hal yang saya lakukan disana.

pertama saya mohon maaf kalau saya tidak menceritakan dari hari 1 dan 2. oke! saya jelasin kalau saya ke tempat latihan seminggu 3 kali yaitu hari senin, rabu dan jumat, mostly sekitar jam 12 sudah sampai disana dan bisa selesai sampai jam 7-8 malam. yah memang cukup menyita waktu dan energi untuk disana, tetapi untuk tujuan yang baik dan positif.

setiap saya kesana, saya akan memainkan permainan mental games. permainan ini berguna untuk meningkatkan fokus dan lebih relax. kalau dilihat sih permainan ini cukup mudah yaitu hanya memindahkan objek ke titik tertentu, tetapi yang susah adalah kita memindahkannya dengan pikiran kita. cukup menarik dan cukup bikin stress pada awal-awal memainkan ini. permaiann ini ada 4 level dan akan dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali.

setelah selesai dengan permainan mental games, saya akan belajar materi memori. kegunaan ini untuk mengasah otak dan mempermudah kita dalam menghafal kata atau kalimat. sekarang saya sudah dapat menhafal 99 asma'ul husna beserta artinya tanpa harus berurutan menyebutkannya.

setelah melakukan 2 kegiatan tersebut, baru saya memasuki terapi dengan coaching tersendiri. tetapi berbeda dengan hari ini, saya disuruh untuk menonton film berjudul Homeless to Harvard. bercerita tentang seorang anak yang hidup dalam kekacauan. Elizabeth murray atau Liz, adalah anak dari orang tua yang kecanduan terhadap drugs dan memiliki kakak yang selalu ingin bersekolah untuk menjadi pintar. Liz menghabiskan waktunya lebih banyak di rumah bersama ibunya, dan terpaksa dia sering tidak masuk sekolah. alasan tidak bersekolah selain ibunya adalah lingkungan seolah yang selalu menganggap dirinya "sampah", sedangkan dia memiliki kepintaran yang luar biasa.

singkat cerita, dia menjadi homeless karena orang tuanya dianggap tidak bisa mendidik anak sehingga dia di taruh di tempat penampungan anak. sayangnya disana dia tidak merasa bahagia, malah merasa tersiksa. setelah itu dia memutuskan untuk ke rumah kakeknya untuk bertemu ibunya yang sudah mengidap penyakit AIDS. perjalanan dia menjadi homeless terjadi karena dia tidak menyukai kakeknya dan juga dibantu dengan temannya chris. temannya ini juga tidak menyukai keluarganya sehingga dia dan Liz memutuskan untuk menjadi homeless. setelah ibunya meninggal dia karena penyakitnya itu, Liz baru tersadar bahwa dia harus melakukan perubahan pada dirinya untuk menjadi orang yang lebih baik. dibantu oleh tetangganya dia yang dulu, maka Liz mendaftarkan diri kepada sekolah yang membantu pelajar untuk masuk keperguruan tinggi.

dia menjadi orang yang pekerja keras dan pantang menyerah. bayangkan dia harus mengambil mata pelajaran dua kali lipat dibandingkan rata-rata siswa disana, dan juga dia harus bekerja untuk menghidupi dirinya. dia sangat mengetahui bahwa dia tidak memiliki uang untuk berkuliah, sehingga dia memutuskan mencari beasiswa yang bisa membiayinya selama 4 tahun. akhirnya dia mendapatkan beasiswa dari New York Times untuk kuliah di Harvard university. 

menurut saya filmnya sangat bagus untuk menyadarkan kita bahwa kita tidak boleh menyiakan hidup kita. dan kita harus melakukan dengan hal yang positif untuk mengisi hidup kita.

ada seseorang yang pernah berkata "untuk tau rasa kotoran, kan tidak perlu kita harus memakan kotoran juga." kata-kata itu akan saya ingat untuk bisa membantu dalam hidup saya.
