Hi there lil babbies!!! Time again for a good ol’ Dee reviews the girls of the TDR, week FOOOUUURRRR!

Let’s get in to it. 

Analyse: Me Every Week: ANALYYYYYYYYSEEEEEE!!! Seriously, you’re topping yourself so much they should call you Detox. I truly don’t think I’ve ever seen such dramatic, quick improvement in a drag queen. Kudos. This look is fierce. Your body- girl, when I say slammin, I mean SLAMMIN! The hair piece, the face jewel, the necklace, the PAINT!! I do have a couple critiques- some of the fabric looks a bit cheap (your cape) and you’ve got some bunching in the body suit. The cape overall is a bit busy- I might have just gone with plain black, maybe some sliver stars or sequins. Still, this is great.

Lexi: Gurl, your face is a dish.  Yummy yum yum. I dig the hair piece as well, giving me Pricilla Queen a bit. This look is tight, professional and fierce, as always. That said, I do have some critiques this week (yay!!) I get what you were going for with the neck piece, but I just don’t love it. I would have liked more of a Shakespearean type of collar- more stiff and round. As it is you’re just giving me kind of droopy beard, and not in a good Daddie Dearest kind of way. The body suit is snatched and cute, but not my favorite print in the world (that’s just me though). Overall though, I really like it.

Avanna: I really like your concept, and I think you did it fairly well. Conceptually, it’s all there. However, execution leaves something to be desired. The top looks a bit frumpy, the fluff isn’t quite evenly spread, and the hair isn’t great. Also, I’m sorry, but I just don’t get your paint. Seems like it’s a deliberate style choice, but I find it unnerving. This was a close call, but due to lack of nails or gloves I must inform you it’s a

Marcella: Beauty and grace, like always. This look absolutely gives me Steel the house down boots. The bra piece is exquisite. One thing I would have done differently is snatched in that waist- you’re giving me hog body a bit, darling. And the skirt is just ok- a metallic silver would have served you better, I think. Still, it’s a stun, it’s a gag.

Daddie: IDC what the others say, I’m fucking living. Is this your best work ever? Probably not. But it is clean, precise, on theme, beautiful and entertaining. I especially love the eyebrows. Your diance shards do look a LITTLE rough, but it’s not terrible. I honestly can’t think of that many critiques, but it could have used more. Still,

Ebony: Ebs! Baby! This is probably my favorite look from you ever. I’m seriously digging on the face jewelry. And the paint looks pretty!! However, I just have to say this- GET. YOUR. SELF. A. STEAMER!!!!! Seriously, every week with the wrinkles. They are not that expensive, you can find one on amazon. I can’t with that. I also think you sort of kept all your interesting bits in back, and left the front a bit boring? This week is a big improvement for you, so kuddos, but in comparison to the other girls it must still be a

Klinker: Klinky :((((( TBH, this wasn’t bad. I honestly believe if you had stun paint you’d still be in the competition. Still, you gave us the same thing over and over, and it came to haunt you. Love those legs, girl, Best of luck!!!

LOGAN’S TDR PUNS VOLUME TWO

Featuring my opinion on Dotte and Ebony’s bottom two and Dotte’s disqualification under the cut because yeah

Both Ebony and Dotte kinda missed the mark on the challenge being to quote the flashing epilepsy causing scene of Gluttoni’s video, “High fashion, Avante Garde looks”. Dotte had a good pointilism makeup and using the medium, and Ebony trying for purity symbolism worked thematically if a little weak, but they both sorta went for more normal looks which especially became obvious looking at everyone all together.. Klinker in the bottom three may have missed the mark on her art movement as well, but their look was more avant garde than the others.

While we don’t have Ebony’s explaination of her look underneath, it’s obvious she spoke with the judges prior she was going for a purity theme, and has an art medium in the paper crane... is it kind of simple? Yes, but it’s a complete submission.

Dotte also kinda obviously faltered in her submission being not-so spectacular in general, being unable to see her submission in it’s entirety, and for some reason having to record her runway off another video? Or something? Obviously hindered her and led her to her bottom two position, and her DQ.

Okay onto the actual puns

Daddie’s pun is right there in the name of her art movement so just glossing over that.

It’s surreal how well Anaylse’s look came out! I’m awestruck.

Avana your look was street off the walls of the lower-income end of new york!

Dotte, while I know the screenprinting had to be difficult for you, you did sorta miss the point on this challenge.

Ebony, while white may be the symbol of purity, I gotta say you look more like rose quartz.

God, JUDAH getting the religious art nouveau? It blew me away.

Klnker, cube better work! Love the look, though could’ve been squared away a little bit.

Now, this time I’ll be tooting and booting the LOOKS from the main stage of Tumblr’s Drag Race, not the challenge performances (as I have in the past.) 

Here we gooo! 

Analyse: Girl, you just keep growing every week. This look is well put together, pleasing to the eye, and totally on-theme. Your beat is getting better and better as well- i will say, watch that droopy eyelash, but such a huge improvement. Your proportions are getting better too. Nicely done!

Avana: I super like these looks. I don’t know where you got the dresses, but I can picture the store and it definitely has a “live laugh love” sign in it somewhere. The beat is nice, the wig is thirsty. I honestly can’t think of too terribly much to say... thanks for the gloves.

Ebony: Girl, I don’t want to be cruel, but this is really, really bad. The ill-fitting forever 21 top? The wrinkly curtain skirt? The- is that a dish rag around your waist? It just shows a lack of effort and style. Your lipstick looks pretty.
