I think it ends up being a complex melting pot of various types of relationships, some intersect and some don't, they kinda just go with whatever and dont explain themselves to anyone

Tbh I love the idea that like. IN THE FUTURE. They start out maybe bunking 2-and-2 together on the ship, 2 beds per room, but as time goes on boundaries just kinda go poof and eventually it's less "I sleep in my bed" and more "I sleep in whatever bed still has room that I wanna sleep in". Some people are more strict about their space (Peko, Fuyuhiko, Gundham, Mahiru, Ryota fx) and some people just do whatever they feel like (Ibuki, Nekomaru, Akane, Sonia, maybe Teru if he fuckin behaves). Giant floating household of Very Close Ex-Villains.

Who needs socially mandated boundaries when you're outcasts being hunted by the government in a post-apocalyptic society where you're the ONLY people who understand each other (given that everyone else thinks you're super evil)?

          don’t apologise!! i ALWAYS wanna answer meta asks not to mention hajime getting the slightest bit of attention means he doesn’t know how to act

leon luckily for me states his type in canon but also i wanna die whenever i remember what he said so allow me time to elaborate before you understand why sayaka wanted to run him through: leon likes pure hearted girls, or, in normal-people speak, he likes sweet girls. he’s kind of a sucker for a shy girl, if i’m honest? because he’s so loud, he thinks it’s like PEAK romance for his gf to be quiet or more reserved. he also thinks someone more chill would balance him out a little. HOWEVER. and yes theres a however. leons One Great Love esp in twitterverse is ibuki because of her confidence and outspokenness and how that inspires him to be more honest with himself and braver in general!! i think he’s more likely to realise he has a crush on someone who’s more reserved because, as i’ve said, he’s super oblivious, but i’ll never rule out anyone loud, as he’s perfectly capable of being a loser for anyone

as for guys, it’s a little more complicated, ‘cause of his whole complex. i think much of the same rule applies (considering his baby crush on makoto in canon), but it’s bound to be AGONISING just because of how dumb leon is. he likes happy people, people with energy who are fun to be around. i think people who are more pessimistic tend to drag leon down – he’s susceptible to negativity and his environment really influences him, so he likes to surround himself with nice people. 

gundham, like i said, likes people with good hearts who are interesting. a lot of gundham’s interest in sonia comes from the fact that she isn’t just this cookie-cutter princess – she has interests beyond what people expect of her, interests that align with his own and are compatible with his persona. she intrigues him, makes him want to learn, which is something very few people manage to do. gundham may act like it, but he isn’t mean spirited and he doesn’t often hate things or people – he gets frustrated, yes, and he is wildly intelligent and can even be dangerous, as we’re shown in canon, but he’s fairly nice and easy to interact with when he feels like being so, if that makes sense??

this goes WITHOUT SAYING but here i am anyway: gotta be an animal lover. duh. people who don’t appreciate gundham’s menagerie, the effort he puts in to maintain them, the different things that make his animals unique? they barely deserve the time of day. he prioritises them infinitely and no person could get in the way of that.

hajime is an idiot and he doesn’t really favour specific traits? hajime could literally fall for ANYBODY and that is no exaggeration. of course bullies and general creeps (looking at you teruteru x) are off the table, but hajime is stubborn and hardheaded and will get through to even the most difficult and reluctant people (e.g peko, gundham). he kind of likes to be the level headed one, though?? not to bring up hajisouda but with hajisouda while he isn’t really an unfazed everyman he’s the blue oni to souda’s red and that’s the position he likes to keep.  

hajime’s taste really is all over the place but going off of his canon attraction to both peko and chiaki he appreciates people who get things Done and can handle themselves. while peko and chiaki are both very different people, they’re both very sweet in their own ways and respond to hajime’s efforts. they’re also (get this) ultimates, and because he’s weird hajime is mega into that as well. he’s into people he respects and looks up to even as they’re his friends/s.os/whatever
